The lads who run this place are top blokes. The food and drinks were good. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is because it’s in desperate need of some new furniture - particularly around the bar area. All the chairs and tables are looking very dirty/shabby. Otherwise it’s a good local venue for some casual drinks/grub 👌🏻

Went for the first time to this pub. It was a family get together so there were a few of us. Food was good, hot and we didn't have to wait too long. I have to mention Cameron behind the bar as he was on the ball with serving and remembering our previous orders. Will be going back for sure.

Dog friendly pub which is excellent choice for a couples and to watch a fotball or rugby match. It has lots of spaces, multiple TV's and a projector. In addition a wall of nice dogs, which is great as they are dog friendly. Staff is quite easy to get a hold of, and the bar has some different and the usual beer and cider.

Pros: Brilliant atmosphere Food is good Staff are great Cons: Drinks are pricey, cheapest pint is an Amstel at just over £5. Worth the price in my opinion. Offer Sunday roasts for £11.99, and all of the rest of the food is completely reasonable. If you're getting the burger, upgrade your fries to the sweet bacon fries, you won't regret it.

Very nice pub close to Southfields station. Friendly staff, good food. I tried Fish&Chips and after just a Vanilla ice-cream. Staff was very attentive, double checking if is everything alright with food is always nice.

This is a decent local near southfields tube. Staff have always friendly and service is pretty fast and fuss free. They're had q happy hour from 4-7 on a few types of beer and cocktails the last few times I've been in during the week. The food is alright, at a good price, and haven't ever had to wait long for it.

The Old Fields is without doubt the nicest and best pub I have ever been to. I lived in Southfields for a decade and have been a customer for many years. I even had my wedding party at this pub, that's how good this place is. They serve great drinks and outstanding food. I have moved out of the area over a year ago and really miss this pub. I look forward to moving back to the area and to visit the Old Fields regularly again, just like I used to do.

Great bar, kitchen and service lacking Live locally and visit the pub frequently. had a meal with friends yesterday evening and the food took 45 minutes to arrive, sides were cold and one side was served incorrectly. They offered to replace but these took another 30 minutes or so to arrive, well after we had finished our meal. Props to the waiter who provided a free round of drinks. Will return for drinks but will be eating elsewhere in future!

Bar person was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent for what it is.. i. e pub food, you can tell instantly that it's all home made.. even the tartar sauce that comes with the fish and chips. Even though on our last visit my wife and I both had the "dirty Burger" which was lovely I would also recommend the "Big Fish & Chips" which is pretty much the same as the regular fish and chips but with the addition of a portion of whitebait which is deep fried but isn't at all greasy. So would definitely recommend the Oldfields, and they often have special offers on both the food and drink.

I have frequented this pub on a number of occasions and think it's a jolly fine pub. Nice staff, nice service and good cameraderie between the locals. However, the last couple of times I have visited, there seems to be a slight stench that tickles my sense of smell. Similar to that of sewage. It really isn't very pleasant and it hits you right in the nostrils when you enter. Furthermore, when I visit the lavatories for a cheeky little tinkle, there is never any soap. I have started to bring my own Dove bar. To be perfectly frank, I'm going off Dove a little bit and investing in Carex which comes in a squeeze bottle, therefore not ruining the lining of my coat, which Dove used to do. ( I'll let you know how it goes). Only a couple of slight criticisms, hence why 2 stars have been knocked off your total. Very fixable one would think. Many thanks

Great pub, and pretty much one of the only variable choices in the area. Food is good drink choice is good and staffs re friendly. Would reccomend for a cheeky pint if you're in the area!

Great Sunday roast ,one for the best I have had at a fraction of the cost I have paid elsewhere. Friendly staff and checked up instantly if we needed anything else. Definitely be back to try more of the great food on the menu or just for a drink from the vast selection. Has something for everyone 😊

I'm very pleased to see under new management things run so much sweeter that a 18 months ago. Good service with timely food order arriving PDQ. I went for simplicity with Mac & cheese and a pint or two of Punk IPA. Service was quick and very helpful. Beer spot on and it was smiles all round for me for a cheap night out(ish).

Came here for a Sunday afternoon lunch and was very impressed. The pie and mash was delicious, good selection of drinks and a really cosy vibe to the place! Only downside was the state of the bathroom. Hopefully this will be sorted when we return!

Dog friendly pub with a massive beer garden. Tons of board games. Excellent real ales. Superb scotch eggs. They used to be black pudding scotch eggs but the recipe changed to sausage meat recently which is a shame.

A really cute local pub with excellent staff/service, but a bit pricey (£3+ for a redbull) compared to other pubs in the area and not really somewhere you'd go to get drunk (just 1 or 2 drinks). I must say the rosemary fries are fab!!
