Reviews of The Old Frizzle Pub (Wimbledon)
T. G.
Enjoyed our first Sunday roast here since arriving in England from the US. I thought it was great. Veggies were great. Meat was tender. Gravy had great flavor. The staff is very nice and we loved the atmosphere
P. Q.
We went here this evening for their weekly quiz. The quiz was very good I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate in there before the quiz started as well. Food was good but the only thing that lets it down is that there is not very much choice on the menu. Toilets were very good and well kept. Very welcoming staff as well. Will definitely go back.
G. S.
Really good Sunday roast (I had chicken), staff were nice, great ambience and dog friendly. Only negative is they don't have ANY real beer on tap. Just fizzy lager. Nothing on pump. So I wouldn't call it a proper pub. Feels quite American actually. But a very good choice if you want large gatherings.
P. J.
Love this place!! So spacious and very reasonably priced. Came in here after a sunny day sitting outside and the vibe was just right. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really added to our night. Couldn’t recommend enough.
A. B.
The best service ever from Anita and Chris. Korean chicken it’s one of my favourite dishes there. If you are around Wimbledon and want a nice place for drinks with a such amazing service, Old Frizzle is the place. Also, they are really dog friendly. I will definitely recommend Old Frizzle.
G. B.
Quirky and Friendly venue in the heart of Wimbledon, opposite the Theatre.
Lamb burger with home made chips are to die for.
Highly recommend stopping off for a cheeky cocktail also..
Lots of booths with windows to people watch..
Thank you for great service. X
P. S.
Incredible pub & great staff - special shout out to the manager Anita who made us feel very welcome.
Would recommend for all!
T. T. R.
Nice large bar in the centre of Wimbledon. Plenty of seating inside. Large screen TV for watching sports. The live music finished by 9pm, it would've been good if it went on later into the evening. The drink prices are standard for the area.
K. D.
Reasonable local pub. Bar manager is good but sometimes other staff are a bit too cool to take good care of any punters over 30. Good selection of standard and local beers on tap. Solid pub food. Very family friendly - welcomes babies, small children and dogs. Does a pretty good breakfast at the weekends.
N. A.
Great food, friendly staff who were helpful with our birthday cake surprise. Would definitely eat here again. Thanks
S. K.
Nice vibrant pub. Enough seating. Nice crowd. Staff were really pleasant (which goes along way with me).
S. M.
Staff friendly took our orders quickly and food served fast was delicious and nice and hot. Excellent service.
A. D.
Service: The waitresses are making sure you have the best time possible in there and i liked the decors, they take time to help you choosing and know their products. They get 5 stars in my eyes
Food: 3 stars. It was good but as much as I like onion rings one was cold inside and the others were overcooked, the waitress apologised and tried to compensate but I declined. I just said it for them to improve it. My partner had the gnocchi, they were delicious but a little too oily.
If there was any manager reading this I'm in hospitality, these notes are not complaints. But I believe you should have a second cook even on quiet nights.
I liked it there and would come back.
T. E.
Met a friend for lunch here with our children. Nice big place with plenty of space for our buggies, so we didn't feel like we were in the way. I had the Sin city burger which was nice but I don't think it justified it's price tag. The kids menu was good and my daughter demolished the cheese pasta she was served. She also loved the monkey plate it was served on. The free drink for kids is also a nice touch.
D. T.
A delightful pub with excellent staff. Just a short hop from Wimbledon underground. Airy pub with very simple menu at the moment, who shot the chef or who did the chef shoot. A lovely place to visit and pass a little time.
G. C.
Really nice bar and great staff. I haven't eaten there so can't comment on the food. I once left a reusable coffee cup there by mistake and I thought it was really nice of them to have kept it for about a week until I went to collect it. A nice touch as a reusable coffee cup I think could have easily been thrown away!
P. L.
Friendly and helpfull staff, great interiors, good selection of beers and drinks. Food a bit disappointing (burgers, a bit too dry/bland) but fries and chips are good. Vegetarian options and good GF beer. Laid-back atmosphere and pretty much local, what's not to like!
N. J.
Very attentive service and decent pub grub affair. Also shows all the sport but this is around the corner of the pub so you can stay out of the way if preferable.
J. L.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly efficient staff and delicious food !
I had the vegan roast and I was so happy with what was served; absolutely delicious ! My son had the chicken and was equally impressed- he said he felt satisfied and happy with the amount and the taste. The celeriac puree is a weapon!
Front of house staff seemed happy in thier respective roles and were kind, accommodating and amiable
Thank you for a great experience!
O. J.
Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Excellent service, love Anita.
C. S.
Incredible atmosphere and service. Zack is an absolute legend. Truly a light in this pub! Anita is an absolute treat to talk to!
L. M.
Love this wee pub, what a great bar with live music and friendly staff. We had such a good night here
D. Z.
The beer was good. The food was mediocre and bit overpriced. Nice atmosphere though.
C.
Really friendly staff, tried their fish cake ... wow 😮 defo would have again ... so so tasty .. thank you
L. P.
Very good fish and chips. The price is quite high thought. £16 for a portion fish and chips.
V. D.
Came in to watch the football and have something to eat. Food was very nice and a good portion size. Came out quickly too. Hand cut chips I am not usually a fan of but these had a nice crunch to them with a soft inside.
Place is very good to watch sports if you have a table or seats. Less so if you are standing as there is limited space without blocking people's views. We managed to find space though albeit a bit away from the screens. Would suggest reserving a table if there is something you really want to see.
c.
Busy vibe, great service from the table staff and good live music for those who enjoy it. I did!
J. W.
It's in a good position. It's a decent pub. Used to be an O'Neills. And it's better than a fake "OOOrrrrisshhh" that it used to be.
o. T.
A good pub roast, exactly what's required on a hazy Sunday after a big Saturday! Good efficient service who also accommodated a larger table booking!
l. g.
An incredibly attentive staff, very welcoming and great live music!
A. M.
Lots of space, good range of beer and wines and over the road from New Wimbledon Theatre which is how we found it.
N. B.
Had a lovely Sat night here, chilled to cocktails and a singer with guitar. Was a nice mix of people. Best book a table to avoid dissapointment.
Z. B.
Party of 4 popped in on a saturday evening out the blue. Against expectations at that time, they found a table for us and served us both food a drinks really quickly, was so impressed. Drinks were amazing 🙌
A. N.
Fantastic pub quiz on a Sunday. Reasonably priced drinks and food
S. I.
This place is..... Great!
Great staff, great atmosphere, great times. What more can I say.
M. W.
Great spacious pub, excellent staff. Highly recommended.
I. G. D. S.
Amazing place! food was really good!
N. O.
Best local, lovely staff and music and pints <3
J. M.
Nice pub atmosphere the calamari rings were a bit bland though
R. V.
Very hospitable staff. Manager was very generous!
e. s.
Overall nice atmosphere, staff were attentive. Had the chicken schnitzel salad, which was delicious. Nice pub to go with mates, but not with family... as wasn’t so keen on the chewing gum under all the tables!
k. C.
Greatest place to get a beer and food!!! Its amazing, go there every time!!
M. B.
Decent live music Fridays and Saturdays, drinks aren't too over the top, and the staff and clientèle are for the whole part very polite.
Quiet and nice for the football on a Saturday afternoon too.
T. F.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere and good food! Also great location as it's right on the Broadway.
M. M.
Such a cool local. Live music every weekend, always a good vibe and always nice and busy with good music. The food is slightly overpriced but still yummy.
R. L.
GREAT!! I loved my roast but would have liked a bit more on the plate. Great Bloody Mary. Big selection of beers and really attentive staff! I would recommend!
K. W.
Not been to the Frizzle before. Was in Wimbledon for tennis but got rain delayed mid afternoon so went here to watch England v Germany instead. Great staff, good selection of beers. Would pop in for one or two again.
D. C.
Lovely bar, good layout and funky style, staff really nice and friendly especially manager Gavin, my friend had a burger which looked pretty decent, but only 3 stars given due to the crackle noise coming out of the speakers. Really ruined the experience and atmosphere.
Was told it was a long running issue too. Won’t be returning for football until it’s fixed.
J. H.
Food is amazing, the chicken wings huge portions and the burgers really nice. Staff where really friendly and polite. Highly recommended
j. m.
Loved it.
Great British Sunday menu which was cooked perfectly.
P. G.
I think this is my favourite pub in Wimbledon. Nice cosy vibe in winter, happy crowd and lots of outside seating in the summer, some live music, some sports if you're into it. Just perfect.
N. S.
Friendly service, good food and great drinks selection.
L. M.
I went here for my birthday. It was great fun. The drinks and food are great. I would say the drinks are a little expensive...£15 for a double vodka seems a bit steep. Chopse a gin cocktail for £8😁 The goats cheese salad is a must!!!
M. P.
Very nice food and friendly staff. Only minor negative would be that we did book early and request a table with a clear view of the screens for the football and our view was slightly obstructed.
C. N.
Starters and mains and drinks are amazing. Desserts not as great.
R. D.
This place is always buzzing and the staff are so warm. Love it. There can sometimes be noisy guests around but that is a part of the deal!
M. R.
Amazing staff, especially a lady in long blond hair - very professional, informative and helpful. (Sorry, I didn’t catch your name)
The Old Frizzle looks like a very popular spot for individuals and groups. The drinks and food is high quality as well.
Perfect customer service, good quality, incredibly short waiting time for ordering and service no matter how busy it gets. Friendly and hard working staff overall.
Highly recommended
O. F.
Great atmosphere, good drink selection and decent outdoor spaces.
P. E.
Popped in out of convenience. Great staff great table service and a good dj. Didn't try the food as already eaten.
A. G.
Great atmosphere. Packed venue with a lively, mixed crowd. Sky Sports news showing on the big screens (if that's your thing). Friendly bar staff. Live music on Friday nights too. The singers I've seen have been excellent and get the crowd involved in singing along. Security are friendly, pay attention to patrons and dont allow trouble. Drinks are priced for the area and they pour a good Guinness too!
J. H.
Great pub. Feels oddly like an old wild West saloon with its rustic wooden finish topped with chintzy fairy lights. Really good menu and decent quality food, albeit fairly expensive.
Decent set up for Sports, which are played out the back on large projector screens, whilst the front is kept separate so the venue still remains bearable for those who aren't interested.
M. W.
Really good atmosphere for a drink. They often have live music in one room but if you want to talk there is another room to do this as well
R.
I was really pleasantly surprised about this place. Not sure what I was expecting but it looked kind of pubby and we were ordering cocktails. Staff were so friendly and the drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was thoroughly laid back and there was plenty of space so I don't think you'd ever have trouble finding a table. I definitely plan to go back for their happy hour at some point and take the opportunity to sample a few more.
S. C.
Busy Wimbledon pub. Great staff great choice of drinks great atmosphere
H. B.
Great service especially Anita! Gorge gorge gorge
H. K.
Love this pub! Food is good pub food. Service is pretty efficient (even at the bar on a busy Saturday night). Lively atmosphere (especially when there's live music on in the back room). Cocktails good. Always pretty busy which is good as I really hope this great pub survives and doesn't become another souless chain in Wimbledon!
D. B.
Very busy but was good and the staff were very friendly.
g. u.
Nice place, we always go to the old frizzle for a bier after work. it's a pretty big pub but sometimes it's hard to find a spot even at the bar. Nice selection of biers and nice food. Wine and cocktails cost a little more than the average but it's a really nice place to chill out with some friends.
V. B.
One of the nice and coziest pub to get a drink or two. Very close to Wimbledon train station and easily accessible. The interior is truly warm and cozy making one fall in love instantly. The space is huge with two bar counters to cater to the crowd. Staff are very friendly and quick in service.
Recommended if you visit Wimbledon...
M. P.
Great service, good beers!
J. S.
Great pub in Wimbledon High Street. Regular mic nights, good crowd and fast efficient service at the bar. Foods not bad either. Prices are a little high considering the nearby weatherapoons but the atmosphere and bar staff make it worth it. Quality of the lager can vary a bit - not sure why but the Guinness is great. My favourite pub in the area.
m. s.
An old favourite and always liked the fish and chips here. Decided to go for the sausage and mash for a change. Wished I hadn’t. The mashed potato was more like a purée. Mix that with the pea purée and gravy and it became a babies dinner. The sausage was average in flavour but cooked well. The chicken burger was a little over fried but nice flavours. I cant fault the chips and the sweet potato fries.
C. M.
Myself and a friend went here for dinner on a Friday afternoon after work. We got one of those nice tables in the window, which was just luck as they were all full when we first arrived. The atmosphere was good - buzzing. We both ordered a burger and they were fine, nothing particularly spectacular. Our waitress wasn't the best either - we had to ask her for everything more than once but that seemed to just be her forgetfulness rather than the attitude of the place.
Would probably go back as there aren't many other good options in the area for Friday night drinks and food.
T.
Nice pub. Not usually too busy. Last time I was there, though, I ordered a cheese board and there was only blue cheese left. They managed to get something together by adding some potato wedges and a few extra biscuits. It's also not a pub that serves a wide selection of beers on tap. But it's decent enough. They screen sports too.
A. K.
Nice place, lots of space to breathe. Not like the typical overly packed pub. The food is really good too. The service at the bar is a bit slow though. Otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars.
O. M.
Great pub, we went in the evening and there was live music, booths to sit in. Would definitely go again.
N. T.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. These things make the place nice and worth visiting. The food leaves something to be desired in my opinion, the nachos were over cooked and the oil dip that came with the sourdough tasted like old seaweed (imho). The beer selection is largely limited to mainstream staples of many pubs in the UK. Nice vibe though
N. K.
Fun times to be had there on weekends for a drink, the place usually gets quite busy after 8ish but it's a good crowd. Drinks are reasonably priced compared to what's around in the area. Bar staff are really friendly. There's also a quiz night every Sunday from 8-10pm with a £2 fee for each person which is also fun.
C. D.
Foods great, drink selection is great. Can watch sports. Decent parking.
A. F.
My local. Generally decent beers, good food (love the brunches) and always great service. Great place to watch sports in the large room at the back and table service for the big games. If I was being nit picky it’s a shame the building isn’t as characterful as an old pub but if it was somewhere else it wouldn’t be my local! Highly recommended.
P. C.
Love this bar. Great staff, very friendly atmosphere. Food is very good quality. Space out the back for watching football (2 huge projector screens - sometimes even show different matches or different sport).
Just hope it stays open for a long time! Well done guys. Keep up the good work.
S. u.
Huge place but getting service can be difficult at bar as folk hog it on stools like they're in an episode of Cheers. Great for sport. They don't take Amex. Food service staff are excellent though - fast amd smiling. Mixed place but overall positive if you don't mind waiting to get a drink.
G. G.
This is my favourite pub in London. In all my time in here I have not come accross a venue which offers as much comfort and warmth as The Frizzle. There is a familiarity with the staff who just make you feel like you are at home whatever time you are there. The menu and food here is difficult to match around Wimbledon, whilst the music is always fantastic which makes Saturday afternoon lunch transition easily into Saturday night partying! The team here are amazingly friendly and they always make sure you enjoy your night - you might even make a few new friends! I highly highly recommend this venue for a fantastic and memorable night!
C. O. R.
Overall a positive experience , had a meal here with my partner on Thursday evening and ordered off the set menu , food was good , nice atmosphere and pub etc
I've docked a star because they add a discretionary charge . I spent over 40 pounds and was there for under an hour . I generally leave a tip anyway but this should be my choice and not the establishment .
So despite the enjoyable experience I won't be going back
E. B.
We go to the Frizzle once or twice most weeks as we live in the area. The food is above par for a pub (bar snacks, a mixture of mains, burgers, weekend brunch & Sunday roasts) and table service is available as well as just being able to order at the bar. All the staff are really friendly and competent. They often have sports on in the back room, which is great for sports fans but also makes it possible to escape it if that’s not your thing.
K. S.
Service is always very efficient, even on a busy night. The quizzes are well organised, and the host is engaging and entertaining. Prices are on the high end (hence the 4-star), though perhaps you’d expect this in prime Wimbledon real estate.
M. K.
The Frizzle is doing great in the time of Covid. Staff are really friendly and attentive. Good beers, great food and the best Espresso Martini in Wimbledon!
T. W.
Great pub and friendly staff
N. J.
The Sunday quiz is epic! Great beer selection. Chicken Burger was about what you would expect, no more, no less. My partners veggie burger looked amazing. Definitely recommend.
M. T.
Great homely yet modern pub atmosphere, with major sports playing and a wide range of drinks behind the bar. Had the Sunday lunch pork and was not disappointed.
H. W.
Great food ,best wings and amazing chip's
A. F.
One of my favourite pubs. A good range of beers and the pub food is always very well cooked and is centred around in-season ingredients. A really relaxed environment with noticeably decent music on. The best pub for miles around!
S. S.
It was like a time warp here. Not in a bad way; in a good way. Back to the times when pubs were actually full of people and you might even have to queue at the bar. OK, I went on a Friday in December but it was lovely to be part of the throng enjoying a tipple and live music. Too many pubs have faded out, thankfully the Old Frizzle's not frazzled just yet!
S. K.
Nice pub, fair bit of space inside but still feels comfy. Nice range of beers, and prices pretty ok for Wimbledon as well. Does get a bit packed on a Friday / Saturday night later on - but if cougars are your thing you won't be let down!
S. C.
Awesome spot to watch a match and have a few drinks! Fun pub quiz and good food! Pub area and restaurant. Table service is a little slow sometimes and they could use with a revamp to the drinks menu but still a great local pub!
J. B.
Pleasant find! Pub ish with good roast dinner on a Sunday in Wimbledon! Quick service, knowledgable, helpful staff. Shame they don't do a pie or crumble for 'pudding'!! Had a taste of sticky toffee pud, which I've never eaten before and was surprised by a lovely cinnnamon taste!
Busy atmosphere and look of coffee shop, pub and dark disco (at the back where they have a functions area) all in one. Place could benefit from a remodel but I'd hate them to stop serving for food for a makeover but PLEASE fix the main entrance door!
Good price 30 ish pounds for two courses each and drinks
R. T.
The chips are huge, like half a potato huge. The food was tasty and the internet connection was good enough to stream on. They were also showing live sports but better to book a table first as you can only see the screen from certain parts of the bar
Z. S.
Lovely pub! Came here without a booking and was fitted in still! Lovely servers and good drinks
S. M.
It wasn’t made clear on booking or online that all participants of bottomless brunch would have to have the same drink. Not really fair considering allergies and what people like. Service was really slow BUT the guy did let us have extra time because there was the confusion with drinks so thank you for that! Poached egg was over cooked so was a bit disappointed. Was probably one of the worst bottomless brunches I’ve been to.
N. T.
Great food selection and options for people with allergies. Quite open to adjusting menus and good quality food. Cocktail specials are great and also a great atmosphere with live music over weekends
P. B.
Came here with a friend and had a really delicious veggie cumin curry! £11 for a very filling meal. Other things on the menu looked great too. Attentive service and cosy feel :)
G. W.
4 of us had lunch here on the 23/12/12. The service and food were excellent. The restaurant was a little quiet but this did not dampen our experience. Food was reasonably priced for such high quality. I would highly recommended this restaurant and bar.
D. N.
I visited the Old Frizzle for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night. There was a good live band playing, and the atmosphere in the bar was good, which was helped by the good selection of cocktails available! I didn't try the food, but a friend did and had no complaints.
R. S.
This place has so much potential. Was disappointed to be charged 'service' when the only option was table service. Maybe because a few people on our table ordered some bar food they treated our order as food.
L. O.
Good pub but booked a sport slot and rather than the match sound the had some awful singer. Pretty disappointed
C. G.
Good food, nice atmosphere, will visit again!
D. H.
Great place to spend time with mates. Sometimes the live music is decent also
R. W.
Pick of the pubs in South Wimbledon. Beer is good and Sunday roasts excellent. Great relaxed vibe and all the sport you want to see without it intruding if you don't want to watch. A pub done very, very right!
G. S.
What a charming and friendly place to eat and drink. The staff are wonderful and huge praise to a member of staff called India who was so attentive. The food is great value for money and very tasty. I will be back.
M. D.
Great haunt in Wimbledon, decent array of beverages at average London prices, Fish and Chips is good, Whopper Burger is not as good as it seems, Lamb on flatbread is great. Staff are friendly and venue set up is great. Live music is played on Friday nights. Toilets can be better.
B. K. M.
Good service and drinks option
T. M.
Great service, really lovely food and spacious, with outside option.
J. B.
Really good location, a short walk from Wimbledon station. Great ambience inside, good for live music and lots of places to sit however it takes quite a while to get a drink so be prepared for some time standing at the bar.
S. H.
Nice staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Shame that kids running laps of the bar while yelling was tolerated by both parents and staff but otherwise definitely the nicest pub in this part of Wimbledon.
A. I.
Decent pub with plenty of outdoor seating. Good selection of beers and food. Service very good.
K.
Great bar lively atmosphere and delicious cocktails..🍸🍸🍸
A. B.
Really friendly staff and amazing burger.
R. S.
Food looks good . Had a Sunday roast here , unfortunately is was barely hot and was cold before I'd finished my meal,
Also check your bill they add a 10% service charge to it automatically.
L. G.
The old Frizzle is a fantastic pub, with a large amount of seating, a good selection of drinks and a wonderful food menu. In addition they also hosted a live band when me and my friends attended.
B. C.
Beers are nothing exceptional and food is very good. Service is great but a bit slow. Prices 10-20% above the average but this is expected as you are on Wimbledon Broadway.
O. S.
Great bar. Every time I come here I'm made to feel incredibly welcome by Thomas Forster. Always has great drink recommendations, what a legend!
J. H.
The Old Frizzle is a new flame. After moving to Wimbledon recently I wanted to find somewhere which was a hybrid between a music venue, a good date location, a place to chin beers with the boys and a quirky bar with intriguing decor.
Boy did I find it!!!
D. Y. I.
Good service on Saturday morning, very friendly staff. Good display of sports on both projector screens with the audio on. However, I think the Bubble & Squeak gave me a stomach ache.
C. R.
Overpriced, nothing special can be said about the food which is mediocre at best. The pies come in a metallic bowl full of gravy, covered with a pie base 'lid' which doesn't make it a pie in the true sense of the term! I've had sunday roast here too which has been disappointing..
A. G.
Good food, friendly staff, and so great with children.
C. W.
Great atmosphere, food and selection of drinks. What lets it down is that the place always feels a little understaffed and as a result, long waiting times to be served.
A. C.
Had a lovely beer and burger. Great service too
B. G.
Security here are seriously spot on, very friendly but at the same time very clever and shown ability to anticipate, prevent and even keep the vibe safe and still fun. Well done to the tall Nigerian bloke on the doors most Fridays and Saturdays
N. L. F.
Great pub with variety of nice food and beers on tap. Lacking 5 stars as some of the female staff aren't very attentive or friendly
B. S.
OK, but slow service. Staff work hard but there aren't enough of them, especially if a few people are ordering cocktails before you, you can wait ten minutes to buy a drink.
W. N.
Had a couple of pints outside in the seating area on a lovely sunny day.
R. W.
Not really sure if wants to be a restaurant or a pub but I like it. They do DNA on draft (try it if you haven't already) and I've found it to be a good place for a pre-dinner drink with the Mrs. Kudos for the funky lighting.
A. D.
Nice pint, good pub grub. Well worth a visit to a put that can easily hold its own on a street full of eateries!
D. K.
Just had a few drinks all good lovely days pity all the seat outside were taken but nice and cool inside. Seemed to hear alot of breaking glass but maybe that was just the ice.
T. F.
Good beer and good environment but I wasn't impressed with the food. They are doing a chicken wing night and the chicken wings were not very nice
S. A.
Had a great time here, tasty local ale, live music, table service was good and the staff friendly. Food was a let down though, burgers were burnt and still sent out. We got something back for it after we complained, but would have rather had decent food without the hassle.
D. G.
If you're not eating then this place gets packed out about 7 onwards on a Thursday to Saturday, so arrive early to grab a seat. Good food though
L. D.
Waiting staff a bit slow, but roast pork was lovely!!
W. H.
Great for a group outing. Find a night when they have live music (most nights) and book a table for a delicious meal followed by dancing, in the rather crowded area in front of the stage.
N. F. (. O.
Lovely staff and very nice place. I tried the truffle burrata and it was heavenly
O. B.
Any time a positive experience.
Excellent quality price food, friendly and very professional stuff.
I would go at least one per week if i can!
R. C.
Every time we come here, we always get a great experience and vibe. The only thing that could use a little work is the service. Still, an amazing place to go and unwind to watch some sports.
M. T. D.
Loved the vibe. Nice service and great food for the price. Love that I can see an open kitchen from the front and look forward to going back.
K. F.
Great pub
J. K.
Excellent pub, always a good selection of drinks on offer, including guest ales etc. Good atmosphere, clean place and they let you reserve tables!

Nice, spacious pub, reasonable prices but possibly due to the size it felt a bit souless
A. S. J.
I tried a coctail (can not remember the name) and its taste was not like a yummy coctail rather a strong bitter lemon and lime juice. I was a little disappointed but their beers are good. :)
M. O.

Z. H.

Great spot for live sport and a Sunday roast. Fast and polite table service.

The place has screens to show sports at the back, whilst you can still enjoy food or a quieter drink in the front. I think they might have bands on in the week.

The live act was good. It was understaffed, so service was very slow. The staff aren't very friendly or polite - except one lady. Wont be returning in a hurry!!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. These things make the place nice and worth visiting. The food leaves something to be desired in my opinion, the nachos were over cooked and the oil dip that came with the sourdough tasted like old seaweed …
