The pub looks nice out and inside. It is convivial and has its charm. The food is unfortunately not great. My son had a pizza, it was very mediocre, I had the gammon eggs and chips. The peas were not cooked and the gammon was very dry and very thin (probably why it was dry). The staf were good and service was also good

The Old Hat Ealing in Ealing is a very beautiful typical British Traditional looking pub. It has got a ample amount of space inside without ever losing it cozy feel. It's a clean pub with quick service and a very lovely staff members who always welcome you with the warmest of smiles. I have been here twice and both times I was made to feel quite homely. Great selection of beers and a very nice outside sitting area as well.

Lovely Sunday Dinner. We have visited this pub many times over the last 10 years. Never been disappointed. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. 3 meat roast for the 2 men in my life and Pumpkin and Chestnut roast for me. Yum! Rest assured, you won't feel hungry after your meal, full plate of food. £12.95 for 3 meat roast. Excellent value and excellent food.

I’m not exaggerating saying this. I’ve had hundreds of takeaways in the last few years on Deliveroo and Just Eat and the Old Hat is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten nearly everything on the menu such as burger and chips, English breakfast and curry. All the prices are more than reasonable and all the food is fresh and delicious. I must have ordered over 20 times from them and every meal is delicious. I personally recommend the chicken curry. Lovely. Great food at really good prices. I tip my hat to the chef. Highly recommend

I avoided Ye Old Hat for years. It's reputation was pretty grim. I never visited it when it was the Walsingham Arms either. It eventually became Flynns (now the Old Hat) I checked it out, and was impressed. The staff are polite, and, at the risk of being shallow, the female staff are gorgeous. Not in a pretty, airhead way but both attractive and competent. I only drink Kronenbourg there, but every pint has been good. I have only eaten the breakfasts but they too are more than acceptable and reasonably priced. I am happy to recommend it. Honest booze and grub at honest prices.

With good food and beer together with a friendly smile it's definitely a place to sit and do a little people watching. The reason for 3 stars is just to do with the parking. But that's not their fault. A good pub.

Best place on west ealing and Hanwell! Staff brilliant 👏 been there 12 times or so in the summer and on pandemic helpful staff all around, Hygiene 10 out 10 Toilet so clean in Pandemic brilliant. Food 10 out 10. Personally Don't like to separate colleagues at work but lady called Denise is smashing 👌 customer care best of the best she knows how to treat customers dear ooh dear she is good of what she does. We were 6 of us and everyone gave her 10 out 10. Will be back soon and book tables.

We ate here in January 2020 on the first night of our honeymoon. We had just gotten to London after a long series of flights from the US and we were delighted to not only enjoy great food, but also be welcomed by the hospitable staff. I do not remember their names, but the Irish gentleman gave us a few great tips for maneuvering the city and how things work.

This is my new local having abandoned The Grosvenor due to terrible new management and while trying to avoid rip-off brewery pubs. It’s an Irish pub with plenty of very friendly staff, good food and drinks at reasonable prices. They also have daytime offers to 5pm. The beer garden is a good size, well laid out and mostly under cover so I wish they divided this up into smoking and no smoking areas as it can get a bit smokey for us non smokers. The other minor gripe is that lighting inside can be a bit boring and bright but I understand that’s being looked at. The crowd is a mix of all types including a load of young uns but I haven’t seen any trouble so it’s not an issue. Will update after more visits but highly recommended for now!

Huge Roast. I had lamb, partner had beef. No fancy flavourings and of course greens overcooked but you really can't complain at £17 for both and you'll have no room for pudding either !!. I imagine it tastes better at 12- 3 rather than after 5 when we arrived. Guiness is good. Five star rated by Irish boyfriend from Dublin. That's the best ENDORSEMENT any pub can have.

Typical fake 'Irish' pub, synthetic decor, booze and food. Nice enough to watch football in. But this was an ancient local pub called the old hat and variations thereof. Once again a real pub destroyed by a generic chain.
