R. E.Only a single visit so far. Nice enough pub at first glance. Had the Tuesday ribeye steak special which was okay. The steak was cooked well to medium rare, but pan fried with no seasoning and a bit oily for me personally. Reliance is heavy on the accompanying sauce for any flavour.
P. S.I Will give 5 star for the best service provided by Brooke!! Beautiful and charming waitress!! She was very kind and helpful for us!! I'll be back becouse of her amazing attitude!! Such a great woman!!

f.Love it! The epitome of a local. They're also friendly to occasionals! Food is brill, not over fancy but tasty and filling. Prices good for the area and a nice little beer garden for when the weather allows. Sport on two TVs, but not on loud so it doesn't take over the ambiance. Popular with residents and passers-by alike.

D. K.The staff are always really nice here which keeps us coming back regularly. Food is also quite decent and reasonably priced. Decent roasts and the bratwurst hotdogs are good too. Not a huge selection on the taps, but quality over quantity is fine by me. Pints are always fresh and cold. I wish they would bring the white bait back on the menu - loved that and it's difficult to find in London these days!
G. M.Nice local pub, great for watching the football. They do good burgers too but they don't always do food it seems so worth checking before going, a couple of times we have rocked up and there is no food on the go.
Worth a visit, especially if you like your football. They're always open to having a different game on each screen if there is a request. Nice people running the place.
T. P. J.This is a lovely little pub. It offers Sunday roasts (that are really 'spectacular') for under £11.00. It's utterly non-pretentious. It shows football, and not egg chasing. It seems like it has had a recent 'face-lift' inside and out. A pint is still under £5.00. 'A beautiful garden outside. 'Really friendly staff.
T. v. C.staff were friendly with the regulars i went with, though not massively attentive when i went to the bar myself.
drinks were typical London prices, they had German wheat beer and pearl cider which are my favourites and not often available.
food is generally horrible (according to my regular mates), so i was advised to go for the club sandwich which was actually decent even if the bread used was just super cheap supermarket slices.
outside smoking area out back is decent. free on-road parking after working hours helps.
M. B. I. a.This traditional English 🏴 pub serves tasty Sunday roasts, burgers 🍔, pies, fish 'n' chips 🍟, changing specials and even a vegan dish among others. There's a nice garden area too for the summer.
M. B.A good local with a nice range of beers. The food here is really good. Most pubs like this serve standard fare but whilst the menu is limited at the Old Sergeant, the food is home cooked, served in good portions and tastes good.

O.Had an RTA on a nearby junction a year ago, was pleased with the staff's helpfulness, as after a few pints it became clear that my bike was not to be picked up the same day, and so I left the keys with them, and made my way home, informing the company collecting it that they had the keys to unlock it. 10/10 service, will visit again!
