Reviews of The Oyster Shed
S. B. (.
We held our wedding reception here and it was amazing. Daisy and Megan helped coordinate our special day and the outcome was perfect.
Gennaro and his team looked after us on the day and they made sure they fulfilled our request to make it even more special. There were no hiccups.
Oyster Shed team were really accommodating, they held our event after closing hours on a Sunday. I would highly recommend them.

Nice place for drinks and food along the river. 5 stars for two reasons - despite being a rowdy Thursday night with crowds of after work drinkers, I was able to book a table a few hours before so I could sit with my friend (other places don't take bookings), and secondly that no smoking is allowed at the outside tables, which the bouncers really keep on top of. Great job!

Loved the food! Lively atmosphere, nice decor and decent customer service. Great views of the Shard too. Quality stuff.
P. R.
The service was very good at the Oyster Shed, everyone was friendly but at the time of my visit the venue started to get quite busy downstairs which slowed down the service upstairs.
The food took quite a long time to arrive and the most expensive seafood platter was a bit disappointing as it is mainly filled with mussels and clams. However it was still very enjoyable!
Despite this, I had a lovely time here, the views are great especially during summer and I will definitely come back here again.

Popped in today on a whim, waiting for a train. Staff so welcoming, friendly and kind. Helped with a kids menu. I ordered a vg burger, husband a beef roast. Kids had fish and chips but there were 2 other dishes we could have chosen. All the food was amazing and arrived in really good time. Really made the end of our brief trip in to London.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is purely because I haven't tried the food, but this bar has fast become one of my go-to city bars.
It's got lovely decor, two floors, clean and service is great.
It helps it's just around the corner from work, so it's definitely got that city vibe.
It's also right on the river, so you can imagine on a sunny afternoon this place would be buzzing and personally i can't wait.
If you are around town, then definitely pay this place a visit as it acts as a great starting place or enjoy the evening in the outdoor beer garden.

Came here for afternoon work team drinks and bar food in a ground floor reserved area. Service was friendly and efficient. The bar area is light and airy but the riverside views are far more attractive late evening. The mezzanine first floor looks very attractive.
Would probably return for an evening date night to sample the restaurant seafood menu.

Riverside side bar located along the Thames Path. Excellent views of the river and very popular with City Workers.
A fairly large establishment with several dining rooms and rooms for private hire and functions.
A very wide selection of drinks including Wines and Champagne.
A great location to host company events, meet friends or celebrate special events.

Our waitress was very nice but they were very quick to rush us out despite it not being very busy. Food was nice but not amazing, was also quite disappointed because they had run out of quite a lot of things on the menu and it was early dinner time on a Saturday. Lovely view from most of the areas.
S. A. R.
Nice venue, especially as we were all sitting at a long table outside in the sun on a summer day in August. Interesting menu and options. Went with the soft shell crab which was really nice.
C. J.
It is such a lovely place, just next to the river! simply amazing. The interiors of the restaurant are premium with even more premium seating upstairs. I found the drinks to be reasonably priced, but the food was a bit on the pricier side but totally worth it! You get a nice and clear view of the shard from the place. The staff is really courteous, especially the host Nikola! She made us feel like home the moment we came in. Oh and one more thing, they have an Indian guy with really curly tousled hair, he surely looked hot ;) if not for anything else, go for him ladies!! :D
K. P.
Good location with seats inside and outside on the North Thames Walk path - great view across the Thames of the Shard. The roast chicken was excellent, served good beers and friendly and efficient service.
O. S.
Had a walk along the Thames and popped to The Oyster Shed. It was around 9pm, we were warned that they don't have few of the items which was ok with us. Receptionist walked us to the table. When we sat down we ordered glass of tempranillo and merlot, after 5 min told they don't have tempranillo, ordered different one. Then we wanted croquettes after 5 min told they are not available, olives not available, oysters too, cheese platter too etc. It was just easier to tell us straight what is available as menu is quiet short already. So ordering was a bit of pain with several back and forth, but waitress was lovely and try to accommodate our needs.
Atmosphere is great and view is stunning. I would say this place is slightly pricey for what it is. Food was amazing, especially battered cod and padron peppers. They don't have heaters outside, but they have plenty of tables so higher chance of getting a table if you are walk in. Perfect spot to enjoy some champagne, oysters and lobster, which we will do the next time.
Atmosphere :5

Excellent Bar-Restaurant with amazing towards Thames and Shard. Food is delicious, service is very professional and price is reasonable. Highly recommended!

Amazing place, staff helpful and kind, beautiful decoration, tasty food. I would give 5 stars if the steak wasn’t cold when it was served.
C. P.
This seems like a lovely place to drink, unfortunately though I am married with 3 kids so cannot afford to drink here, I can however afford to buy tins from Sainsbury's and drink right outside the front and pretend I belong with the crowd. I also occasionally pop in to use their loos which are fantastic, and the view is alright I suppose.
S. M.
Absolutely amazing food and awesome service! There wasn't much on the menu for vegetarians and in this pregnancy I've not been able to eat meat. I asked Lauren (on the bar) if they could do the Christmas dinner but with extra veg instead of the meat and she absolutely went above and beyond! The chef (lady with brown hair) came out and asked if I'd like beetroot wellington instead of the meat which wasn't on the menu. I was over the moon as I've been struggling with food since being pregnant.
The food was absolutely out of this world, the staff made sure we were happy and we were delighted with absolutely everything!
The restaurant/bar itself is very welcoming and cosy, especially as it's all trimmed up for Christmas and it was nice and quiet, just away from the tourist areas.
Highly recommended and I want to come back here again and again after being looked after so well.

Lovely bar for after work drinks - we were seated outside with heaters and had great views of the river from our table
D. D.
Good place staff is nice but only dow side is they do not do good cocktails.
M. S.
Stunning location, modern and tasteful decor, friendly and attentive staff. And obviously delicious fresh oysters. Also, try the crayfish mac and cheese, you won't be disappointed. Pints are ice cold, always a plus!!
C. W.
Perfect venue for a few after work drinks. As you would expect.. the Oysters are really good too!
M. R.
Been here a few times but never upstairs on mezzanine. Great views across the river and food good quality. Well suited for groups' there were 10 of us and everyone was happy
M. B.
The Oyster Shed is good.Only on this occasion we were kept waiting in between courses due to a challenge in the kitchen. That said , staff and service and our own private dining room, all great.
H. P.
I just organised a late lunch / dinner for our team Christmas event. It was easy to book and pre order. We had last minute changes to the booking and the venue was very accommodating.
They have a strict 2 hour booking schedule so you need to make sure you arrive on time. If you want a place at the bar after the meal you need to pay another deposit.
We arrive 10 mins late but still were able to have our meal.
The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. They were very attentive and asked if we needed anything. We actually overrun and were lucky they did not have a booking until an hour later. So we could finish our drinks.
As we had 2 people who could not attend I asked for their food to be packed so I could give it to the homeless. They were very kind and made sure the meal was warm when we left and gave us disposable cutlery.
I would definitely recommend this place. The food was good and the atmosphere was great.
I. S.
Came here on a warm Friday evening with a friend. The place was heaving with customers both inside & outside. The views were stunning due to the location. Staff behind the bar were serving everyone as quickly & efficiently as possible. Helpful & polite. Good selection of drinks & food, quite pricey though. The toilets were located below the sea level down the steep staircase, so wouldn't be suitable for those with accessibility needs.
L. L.
Oyster Shed can be very busy and quite expensive per pint, yes, but you have the views to enjoy and the staff, such as Bessi, to take into consideration. My mate and I had a really good evening here and that was largely due to the service. Would recommend it here and - if Bessie and her co-workers have anything to do with it - it will be an extra lovely evening. Thanks all!
R. I.
Fantastic location with great views onto the river. Most of the food was awesome and the service was faultless. Brilliant place!
L. B.
Very lovely place with a great atmosphere. Came here for a meeting and the coffee was top notch. Didn't eat but the food looked amazing. 100% would recommend :D
K. S.
Great place with fab atmosphere. Only complaint was to my wet bum by being sat outside with a gap in roofing. Oops. Food was excellent and service very good however
V. C.
We visited this place with our 2 year old daughter. It is not advertised as a kid friendly, but our waitress went above and beyond.
I appreciate the effort to put together a small plate of fish and chip for my kid. Also making her a an apple juice.
Fish and chips were insane. I'm still dreaming about it.
Definitely talking about this place in my personal blog and sharing with my family and friends.
K. T.
Lovely place by the river excellent food and we were looked after by all the staff who were very attentive but a special thanks to Jodie who was such a cheerful lady very helpful and looked after us from the moment we entered until we left a true asset to the oyster shed.
D. S.
Great location, great view, staff very welcoming & friendly, good service and food was lovely too.
Will be back!!
N. P.
Chilled out place by the Thames with a fun vibe and lots of seating and lots of seating. We came here for drinks and light bites on a Saturday evening and the place was partially empty but as the evening grew on it became really crowded. The location is amazing too and they have some seating outside if you want to enjoy the views on a good day.
I. S.
On a sunny day there's no better place to sit with a beer looking over to the shard
P. M.
Lovely place and great view over the Thames. Service is good and food is nice if a bit on the pricey side but you are paying for the location.
M. K.
Great place for after work drinks. it lost a star due to the fact I went there on a Sunday and it didn't have Oysters.....the Oyster Shed ....DIDNT HAVE OYSETERS. blasphemy
J. H.
Nice place right on the river with great views of London Bridge and the shard. Pricey (over £13 for 2 pints!) but it is the city....
D. P.
Customer service is excellent, nice food but I don't give them 5 stars as it's a tiny bit pricey. Still totally recommend it
R. D.
This restaurant or pub was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!the food was terrible good and there was a waiter call Iskra which she is SUPER nice, she even served us a cheesecakes for FREE! This was even my first time to eat oysters. So I recommend this restaurant or pub to everybody!

Great location by the river and great service , the fish and chips where excellent , only down side was the Mac and cheese which tasted like some pasta in plain white sauce , think they forgot the cheese !
Z. M.
Nice views, oyster selection rather lacking though - only 2 kinds available. Pricy but not too much regarding the location.
They do roasts on Sunday.
M. D. S.
Had an amazing dinner where our waitress Lola was a superstar.
Food is decent, the olives are amazing and the squid was very tasty.
There was a small issue with my Ribeye but got fixed straight away which shows a lot of care towards the guests and overall had an enjoyable night.
Will definitely be back.
G. B.
Disappointing quality. Took over an hour for our starter to be brought out, despite it being the pardon peppers and a scotch egg.
Then the main was ridiculously overpriced and pretty unappetizing. Wine was un-interesting.
The only positive is that the view is lovely.
Nice setting for meager service and disappointing food.
B. M.
Nice location, recently refurbished. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good variety of foods and drinks
D. I.
Mojito cocktail comes without a straw? How you suppose to drink it?
S. K.
Friendly service, fantastic views as you have a platter of oysters and good selection of wines.
T. M.
Decent outdoor space and heating for post lock down ones. Seafood platters look amazing and although we didn't have one, food was excellent, not typical pub grub. Enough on menu for non fish eaters as well. Staff are great, Lola and Agata looked after us well.
H. S.
Lovely place next to river, perfect for a weekend chilling
E. B.
Absolutely lovely place, was a bit slow to get seated as it gets really busy but after we were the service was outstanding. The food was great, the best seafood sharing platter I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!
M. C.
Staff very friendly, food was good, the venue is beautiful with great views across the river.
P. L.
Great venue and great service. Great views of the Thames, high ceilings, and great decor. Staff was excellent and accomodating. Lucky they closed at 8pm tonight, if not we would have cleaned the bar out. Lol.
Z. Z. (.
I really enjoy this spot right by the river. Perfect for an end of the week pint with friends from around the city. The service is great and the food is decent too. Will keep coming back.
I. P.
Great location overlooking the river. But no oysters served on the day of our visit..whaaaat...???? Big disappointment considering the name of their restaurant. Plus online booking system s not great.
Still, we did eat good food and drank decent wine
A. Y.
The Oyster Shed is a modern take on the great British classic of a hut by the shore selling seafood, chips washed down with a decent pint. All in glass it looks like it should be an investment bank however its welcoming inside. The large seating area outside by the Thames is a sun trap so bring the lotion. Drinks and food menus are extensive but expect London prices and the service is attentive.
d.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff even if, albeit, quite a long long lead time between ordering, food, and clear up.
Good portion of fish pie
E. W.
The location is great for outside food in the sun, food was good. However, we booked a long while in advance and explained it was a birthday celebration and yet we were still given a tiny high table in the shade with no heater. Literally the worst table in the place. They did give us a second high table when we asked, and after asking to be moved twice they did give us a proper table but it was disappointing it took so long.
M. F.
Beverages with a Thames view. After a long day in London we usually come here and have one or two beverages, quite rarely only one... We just like the atmosphere. And we ARE coming to enjoy that atmosphere again in march 2019!
B. P.
I do love the views and outside areas at the oyster shed, the only issue are the queues for a drink and the time it takes to get your food. Definitely a great place to go a sunny day if you're in London.
J.
Venue perfect setting next to the Thames and all very Covid Safe. 2 hour booking of tables so be aware of slow service, due to 50 minute wait for food and constant delay in desert menu we were asked to leave before our deserts. Luckily manger sorted for us and we were able to enjoy the rest of our meal
D. S.
Food was quite disappointing. Service is good, and a reasonable selection of drinks.
P. B.
Nice drinks and food with my girls. Service was okay - prices a touch expensive but its London on the river so not that bad.
C. Z.
Nice place Nice location toilet dirty and service very slow
I. P.
We went there for our work Christmas dinner. Food was good. I really enjoyed the vegetables. The service was good as well!
I.
Tasty food, spacious place, great for dinner with multiple people
L. B.
Had a work do there on Thursday and the waitress was brilliant! Good security too
R. S. (. w. R.
Sat outside, by the river. Pleasant food and an extensive wine list. Only downside was that the servers, on several occasions, tried to clear our plates or drinks before we were done. Felt a bit rushed because of it.
K. D.
Rashida and Simi were so amazing with helping us book our table, as well as design our night for our anniversary dinner during the pandemic. We had an amazing meal and amazing drinks too. The staff made us feel comfortable, we enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend others to come.
P. M.
Nice place but make sure you reserve a table as it gets busy.
C.
Fantastic fish and chips! The oysters are really great too as well as everything on the brunch menu.
R. S.
Trying oysters for the first time from here and I will make sure I visit Oyster Shed again for the lovely food, drinks and ambience. Very friendly staff too! ❤️
M. L.
Nice modern, spacious pub with outside seating beside the river. Good selection of draft and wine. Food was good
K. S.
Stopped for a quick drink. Lovely position by the river and enjoyed the buzz of the world going by. Ordering through the app was really easy.
J. G.
Came in with few mates, having a catch up evening. Had plenty of drinks that were flying of the bar straight after we ordered. Every single member of staff we met was very polite and professional. However we were particularly being looked after by Nick that was absolutely smashing it. Very nice lad and deserves all the praise! Also ordered a sea food platter which was absolutely amazing looking and tasting sharer. Thank you very much team Oyster Shed for amazing evening and see you soon!
P. “. B.
Was experience and nice welcoming staffs. They gave a table which we didn't even reserved and it busy evening.
J. E.
Great river view near the financial district. Reasonable priced pints and good atmosphere.
A. A. H.
The food was delicious.... the service by young partime staff let's you down.. you just sit and wait and wait. Give your order and wait an wait and wait. Letting customers and management down. Needs to be sorted. Too busy charring to one another at customers expense. Great food
M. N.
Friendly service and awesome location right by the Thames. Only down side was no oysters available due to supply issues at the moment but the situation fully explained in advance in a friendly manner. Recommended
C. S.
Superb! Catered for our office Christmas meal and the food and service were both fantastic
M. K.
Sunset view is magical! Great bar with a great view next to the Thames
P. K.
Lovely spot on the river. Great service and friendly staff. Would recommend reserving a table, it does get busy.
D. H.
Great venue on the Thames, good service and the food was great, thank you!
R. S.
Ok very well presented would be better on a summer day as outside views of London polite staff.
M. J.
Great venue and location. Excellent range of beers. Service was really good. Food decent.
I. H.
Good food, great alcohol selection, noisy atmosphere with slow service
C. S.
Came to the Oyster Shed for some drinks on my Thursday afternoon with some friends to a wonderful time served by some great staff. This really is a fantastic venue for food and drinks, and we will definitely be returning more often!
Special mention goes to one of our waiters the amazing Nick, who was a really charming young man who knew just how to engage with our group!
Would definitely recommend the espresso martinis, some of the best I’ve had in a while!
F. S.
Great place for lunch overlooking the Thames. Attentive staff and reasonably priced menu.
R. V.
If you like the crowd, if you are lover of great panorama and do you like something to drink with friends, this is the place for you, I've been in Wednesday evening (7:00 o'clock) and was been great.
j. o.
The app where you order by was terrible People got food at different times some people didn't get food some people Their order twice
K. M.
Good drinks, good food, vibe atmosphere , good service
J. M.
The venue is in a great location on the river bank offering great views!
It’s also in a seemingly quiet area although the pub was busy when we went. Inside it was loud but the place offers a seating area - restaurant option upstairs. The service is very attentive and the staff are excellent.
The only reason for 4 stars was due to the fact we arrived around 7pm and a lot of the main options were not available (like burgers) which looked nice!
We will certainly go again and I may edit this review upon our next visit.
M. F.
Attended a private event in a great space. Lovely riverside location.
U. H.
Great location, great drinks, great food. What else would anybody want?! 🤷🏽♀️
R. N.
Good food and selection of drinks. Atmosphere buzzing.
V. D.
Table right by the river, lovely for an afternoon in the sun. Fish and chips were tasty, mojito cocktails were perfect. Marchela was a great waitress, very attentive and friendly.
c. j.
Such amazing food! Reminded me of home - Staff are very attentive, zofia is amazing! Couldn't highly recommend this place enough
I. A.
Had a great team lunch there. Nice Oysters, great fish and chips, I would go as far as saying one of the best places for fish and chips 😋
V. P.
We went with a friend for dinner. Not the best experience to be honest, was quite slow service from getting to our table to getting our menus and food. The food was alright, would expect a bit more for the price of the mains. It was an okay experience.
A. S.
Great venue. Staff, security, very welcoming, courteous and friendly. Special mention to Max who looked after us and found us a table. During difficult times this venue makes it feel better. This will definitely be a local for our after work drinks
C. L.
Definitely reserve ahead for foods and parties, view is amazing, chill vibe right on Thames river
A. K.
Nice place. The staff take some time to get to you but they are also very nice. Photo: @amykaptures

Visited The Oyster Shed with my Partner for chilled night out. No booking but the staff were friendly and we were seated for dinner in no time! Our waitress was a young girl with lovely multi coloured hair, she was immensely welcoming and helpful with our orders. The food was delicious and served promptly.
I cannot praise the staff and in particular our waitress enough. She made our visit all the more pleasant and we will definitely be returning.
O. B.
Great food and service. Very good atmosphere as well given the Covid restrictions. Glad we chose it as our first dinner out post lockdown.
D. J.
Came here for Xmas lunch in a group of 14 and went for the set menu - chicken liver parfait, roast turkey main and pear and fig tart for dessert. The food is great and good value and the ambience works really well - modern, light and airy with loads of room. Big shout out to the staff who were excellent throughout, efficient, helpful and very friendly. Thanks!
M. M.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Very slow service. Overpriced menu. Average food.
R. H.
Wonderful restaurant but also a nice relaxed place for a drink. Staff were amazingly good and attentive and the safety measures were followed and enforced. Definitely going again.
R. V.
We had a great all-round evening at the Oyster Shed! Our waiter Nick was incredibly attentive and gave great recommendations on wine to accompany our steaks. Will definitely be returning
L. M.
What a lovely restaurant- Lola our waitress was very attentive and sweet, she made our time at oyster shed very pleasant! Lovely atmosphere and great food and wine !!
S. N.
Nick D and Meg were extremely attentive tonight, the service was impeccable and we throughly enjoyed our food and wine. Thank you for a lovely evening.
J. K.
The view was amazing especially at night and Staff were polite. My only issue was the food was a little bland and the lobster was small compared to the price of the dish
A. M.
A fantastic pub at a great riverside location. The ambience is modern and electric while the crowd is upscale. The drinks and food are reasonably priced for the location and the staff is very courteous.
N. A.
Fantastic end to a weekend break in London. Great location on the river and we stumbled upon it whilst walking along the river away fro the roads. Great service and food was amazing. definitely eat/drink here again if passing. to note toilets downstairs so disabled access not great but not a complaint, just an observation
T. S.
Very nice place if you want to drink something in the evening. Usually there after lots of people outside and the Thames is nearby so it is a very pleasant atmosphere. I have always been there in the afternoon and the food is very tasty too.
D. Y.
We stopped off at the Oyster Shed on a sunny Sunday afternoon whilst walking along the Thames Riverside path. A great place for a drink, we could sit outside, literally on the river bank, with great views of the Shard and the comings and goings on the river. Plenty of space inside if you wanted it. Beer was reasonably priced too compared to some pubs we've tried
Food looked good too although we don't try it
S. O.
Really good food and service! Would go back again
S. S.
Great location and lovely drinks. Windy when we went today which wasn't great for oyster shed but when sunny it's amazing.
S. R.
I photographed a wedding here last year and absolutely loved it as a venue! It has huge windows all along the front which lets in loads of gorgeous natural light - a photographers dream! It's also right along the River Thames and has great views of the city! Perfect for photos. The staff at this venue were really friendly too. I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for a city wedding venue with gorgeous views!
o. t.
Stopped here on walk around London. The place had a great atmosphere and was on the river. The oysters were fresh and tasty, my friend enjoyed her dessert. The wine suggested by the waitress was good, and the service was great. I would definitely go back if I am ever in London again. Enjoy!
M. T. D.
Such a nice spot. Didn't book so was able to walk up and dine in, had a few lovely pints some light bites and a sharer plate - which was all delicious. Staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable; when we ordered an ale they let us know the quality if we wanted to switch to a fresher tap. Good price as you'd expect from the area with some gorgeous views
D. W.
This is a huge pub on the riverfront that must make a fortune. There are lots of bar staff but I question how well they are trained e.g. a Jack Daniels and Coke isn't meant to fill a pint glass! It also has the lowest ratio of toilets to customers I think I've ever experienced. The longest queue is for the gents toilet. This could be a great pub but I can't recommend it.
O. P.
Attractive place in the river. With a nice day, it's a pretty view.
It seemed to be a fairly relaxed atmosphere and the food was tasty and not at all pretentious. For what it was I think it was a little bit on the expensive side.
Good beer selection and the staff were friendly and attentive.
I'd go back!
J. B.
Slow service, but that was due to new staff(first night on the job) and an over crowded bar.
R. D.
Nice, standard gastropub. On the river, nice views, good service, some good beer, food ok.
M. R.
Was at a wedding there ,food and service was fantastic. Could not fault it...
D. B.
Had lunch last week at Oyster Shed to celebrate a colleague's birthday. Fantastic views, great food and very pleasant staff. Kata, one of the managers, was extremely helpful and hospitable - she is definitely one of the nicest bar / restaurant managers I have met in London. Highly recommend!
E. A.
I'm certainly returning here. Love this place! The offers on the unlimited oysters are insane. The food itself is great and, of course, the location. Oh my the location. It really is fantastic in the summer. They clearly are prepped for winter, since there are tonnes of patio heaters, multiple per table!
The customer service is wonderful. Really nice people work there! I want to return and sit inside because the music selection is interesting and the atmosphere is right. Visiting again definitely
A. B.
Great location and nicely styled. One of the better places around for a drink in the sunshine. Utterly slow to get served though; at pretty much any time. Looks like there are enough bar staff, but half are pouring drinks for table orders.. still worth a visit without a doubt
T. E.
What a fantastic bar, the staff were very welcoming especially the receptionist.
Will go there again
E. P.
A personal favourite watering hole for me, due to the beautiful views of the river which you can enjoy outside with a pint. A solid selection of beers, nice interior, but expect really slow service surfing busy periods, particularly on Friday nights!
R. S.
Quick bar service for a friday night, portion of chips ok, a bit small!
The crowd is grown up, professionals
Music not too loud so you can still speak :)
Decent selection of IPA's, Gins, and regular lagers
A. C.
Slow service wrong food brought to table
Had to wait another 30 minutes for correct food
Very disappointing for expensive restaurant Bill was adjusted but not the service we expected won't be recommending
L. C.
Excellent venue for a private event. Good and friendly staff. Mainly business executives. Great location. Fantastic views. Drinks can be pricey, but understandable given location. Ceiling in the private event room is low! Watch your head on the light fittings!
F. C.
Great service, big range of drinks and tasty and food. Amazing location; recommended!!
M. S.
Nice spot on the river - especially when it’s sunny. Popular for meeting people for a drink after work. Service was pretty quick at the bar despite being busy. Free Jaegarmeister cocktails feels a bit tacky.
J. D.
Ate here for the first time yesterday - service was a bit slow but understandably so as it was very busy. Great food, great wine and a lovely looking place so get yourself there. When the sun is shining it gets even better! Worth booking a tabke in advance if you are eating.
H. F.
Perfect spot for a drink in the sun, with great view of London
C. B.
Charming restaurant lovely seafood served by Jodie thankyou
M. D.
Boozy evening on the Thames, had already eaten so can't comment on the food, but the overall experience was great with seats outside in the garden to enjoy the tail end of summer.
J. B.
Didn't actually go inside (because of COVID restrictions), sat outside by the river. Nice, friendly staff and some very pleasant views and beers.
N. M.
Brilliant location! Go here for after work drinks (which is what most people in there are doing) and catch the sun going down over the river Thames. The outdoors area is huge, and does get very busy especially in the summer. The split level interior looks great and the menu's not bad either. Price wise is "london standard" however, with the views I think it's worth it. I've not yet eaten here, so can't comment on what the food tastes like - but it looks good!
f.
Great spot for drinks by the river, fantastic views of the Shard & Tower Bridge. Usual suspects when it comes to variety of drinks at the bar & at fairly normal City prices. Can get busy at lunch due to the number of City workers in the vicinity (recommend booking if you want to eat at lunch time). Very busy of an evening & when the sun's out, especially on Thursdays.
D. H.
Great place. Staff are attentive and brilliant at making sure everyone respects the regulations. Felt really well looked after. Food was lovely as well.
m. d.
Nice views of the river. Wide choice of beers. Bit soulless.
J. H.
Very nice pub, great lively spot.
R. C.
This pub seems to be a favorite of the 20/30-somethings. Not many tourists, compared to the other side of the river. Really crowded with groups drinking by the river and it is a great spot to watch the sunset.
J. W.
Really striking, riverside venue offering exceptional wines, decent range of spirits although only 'ok' beer range (mainly mainstream lagers but some interesting cans in the fridge).
We visited as part of a leaving do on a Friday night and as you'd expect for summer, the place was absolutely heaving, inside and out. We booked a small area and I can't recommend this enough as it gives you space away from the hustle and bustle of the bar and general seating areas.
Staff were extremely fast and never failed to be friendly when serving the crowds at the bar - really made a positive difference to the evening.
The outdoor seating is very cleverly done so that you have a great view of the Thames yet are separated from the busy pavement - great for river and people watching! We were treated to thunder and lightning against a backdrop of the Thames and the Shard which was honestly breathtaking.
Please note food was not sampled but the hors d'oeuvres plates passing by looked absolutely amazing as I'm told was the sausage roll sampled by a colleague!
M. d. G.
Nice pub for after work drinks by the river. Very nice vibes in the summer. You can take your drinks to the river side which is super nice. At night they play music you can even stay for some dances:)
P. B.
Attended a wedding reception here. Venue worked perfectly for food and dancing into the night as well as outside space for chillaxing in the sunset over the Thames. The staff were great and the food was top notch. Rounded off with a great selection of whisky! Recommended!
G. D.
Lovely bar, right by the river. Food and drink is lovely. Best in the summer sitting by the Thames wall and enjoying the sun. Always busy, but staff generally keep on top of it.
P. M.
Great views of the city, but can get really crowded. Takes ages to get served at peak times, and the main toilet is far - you have to take 4 flights of stairs or the lift. Food is good though. Recommend going on quieter days!
C. j.
Great Lunch here with the family celebrating fathers birthday. Megan was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Would come back again. Great views in the sunshine.
L. C.
Had a company Christmas party here last night.
As a venue they were really responsive with comms and accommodated us at short notice.
Food was good, drinks were good, service was excellent, so I special thank you to Megan for being so polite and attentive in dealing with a large group.
As per a previous review, the cheese plate was a big let down, I think people expect more than one slice of cheese.
The only negative was that one half of the table was close to the entrance / exit, and even though there was an electric heater close by, the very end of the table was still cold enough that people needed to keep their jackets on.
To be honest I imagine if I had mentioned this at the time then it would have been remedied, however it was only a minor negative we could live with given how well the evening went.
Will definitely keep in mind for future work do's.
L. L.
Nice English type of cuisine. Portions are huge, so very good value for money in London. If you're looking for just a drink, it's perfect on a nice day or evening, as it is right on the river side with a lovely view.
H. S.
Surf and turf was tasty, albeit the lobster 🦞was a little bit smaller than average. Service was great, quality good though
Z. C.
Great little pub very nice
H. K.
Absolutely great bar for drinks! We turned up during Covid and Nick treated us like royalty! Served us all night and gave us plastic cups for our drinks to takeaway! Thanks guys!!!
G. B.
Love this place!
A special thank you to Christina for being so nice, friendly, and hospitable to our table :)
R. K.
Had a lovely lunch here with my husband, served by our pleasant waiter Nick. Octopus was excellent and the host was kind enough to move us to a table outside
Y. R.
This place is located along the river, we found it on our way to London Bridge. We stopped for some drinks and appetizers. Its a great place for oysters and all things sea food. It has a large indoor sitting area with a pleasant relaxed atmosphere and a nice patio sitting area.
F. O.
Great evening. Food was excellent and the service was quick and very slick. Music was a bit loud if sat in the restaurant so wasn't easy to have a conversation. Otherwise a great night out. Staff can't do enough for you
N. G.
Really nice bar with some great views
M.
Drinks a bit expensive but worth it for the great service and view. With the current restrictions it felt a safe and well run bar. Will definitely go back
J. H.
Bustling city bar on the waterfront with cracking views across London Bridge to The Shard and surrounding skyline. I come (unashamedly) for the gin and sausage rolls.
Loses a star for the toilets which are either too far or a bit smelly. Easily remedied I'm sure. Cute pop up areas to the front and side in Summer. Worth a stop if you're strolling down the Thames so go check it out!
D. K.
Our usual place we visit with our colleagues. Definitely crowded, always in the evenings, which makes the wait time a bit too long, but the views certainly compensate for it. Recently they have addes some craft beers, which is always nice. Food is not worth dying for, ideal to enjoy with your drink.
L. V.
Service was good but not a place for a quiet catch up and a drink, good if you do want a lively atmosphere!
S. A.
Udually very busy. To be expected, goven the location. Do not recommend adventuring without booking in advance.
T. B.
£6+ pints of Beavertown is the negative.
Nice bar in a good location on the river. Has outside seating.
Gets v busy being in the heart of the city!
l. c.
Incredible place for incredible food !
A. T.
Great place to grab a drink after work. Very relaxed with lovely views and great service
K. P.
Great atmosphere right by the river and really lovely to pop in for a quick drink
L. D.
This is a very nice bar to go to during the summer months, as you can stand outside on the bank side and view the river with great views of the shard. Beer selection is usually adequate, and rarely changes with not many guests on tap, usually tap beers as opposed to ales.
J. S.
I visited The Oyster Shed last night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including accomodating a request to change table for a better view of the river.
The vibe and ambiance were good, it was spacious enough to feel busy but not cramped.
The food was a real letdown. My friend and I shared the butcher's platter and I cannot remember eating such average wings or dry ribs. The lamb kofta was a saving grace, and the sausages were ok.
Took a little while to request the bill and pay, but I'd go back for drinks after work.
C. L.
Really nice bar at a great Thames side location..friendly staff
R. T.
Visited here for a business lunch and the service from Rehena throughout was outstanding. She waited on a table of 12 in a very professional way without getting stressed or flustered and all food and drinks were served in a prompt and efficient manner. Food was excellent too and steak was highly recommended. Do not miss out and I hope Rehena gets the recognition she deserves. Well done .
J. D.
Nice bar/restaurant - gets busy for drinks on a Thursday/Friday (especially when the suns out) but they have a separate area for food which you can normally still get a table. Good views over the river
a. h.
Burger was amazing, and service was brilliant.
K. S.
The oysters, fish and chips, and avocado toast were all really tasty. Would have given 5 stars but the service was incredibly slow (and there were only a dozen customers) and the bathrooms need a really good cleaning.
R. S.
I go to the oyster shed around once a week for lunch - work next door. Always get fish and chips. Chips always come cold but the fish has always been nice and pretty big. In the last 3 weeks the fish they serve is tiny...to the point where today I was actually left hungry after eating there! When I told the waitress she said she has also noticed the fish has reduced in size. Sort it out guys or your going to loose our custom especially with the listing just having opened up next door!
n. v.
The Oyster Shed is right on the River Thames with spectacular views of The Shard, HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge. The floor to ceiling windows gives you a panoramic view. The inside has 2 levels with a more formal dining area on the top floor. The food was good, I ordered the steak and it came bigger than I expected, with fries and mushrooms! Cooked to perfection. For a wednesday lunchtime it seemed reasonably busy and certainly gave a good vibe, they have a good selection of real ales and a very big wine menu! Perfect place for a pint specially in the summer! only negative side is we waited ages to try and get noticed to ask for the bill.
A. A. A.
Good location, but steep prices
j. g.
Mediocre pub food for the financially aware
A. J.
Fantastic food and wonderful service made for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. A lovely table in the sun overlooking the river was a bonus.
S. G.
Great space to have a drink with nice places to stand outside with great views. I was there during the summer. Not a massive wait for drinks and staff were attentive and polite. Try em out!
V. R.
The place is pretty and on the Thames side, however it gets incredibly busy especially if there's a ray or two of light, and taking a beer becomes a quite intense task taking even 40 minutes! The upside is that you can just go there and stand with your friends with the supermarket beer...!
O. M.
Great food, surprisingly good food and a decent selection of beer on tap.
They've also done pretty much all they can do decorating a rather mundane space.
Only drawback is the location of the gents!
C. P.
Nice place with beautiful services and friendly staff. Amazing bartenders and fantastic drinks. Tasty food. I highly recommended this place.
E. D.
Great setting, but unnecessarily busy bar 3 or 4 deep and any nice beers off as they'd run out. This place could make a fortune if they could run it properly and serve the amount of customers that want a drink.
W. X.
Roomy and very light, big windows and nice terrace area outside for drinking. Perfect when the weather is good. Fairly upmarket crowd. Nice starter drinks then easy to bounce to next venue
T. F.
Fantastic place, went there for drinks, the views over the river and the Shard are second to none. Service and staff are first class.
Can not comment on the food as this was a liquid lunch/dinner!!!
N. V.
Nice location. Ok pub but v chaotic and service is average
S. C.
Best view in the city to have a beer, great choice of draft beer, Good food. Very friendly staff led by the legendary Kata which always look very well after us.
E. K. L.
Fantastic place for a casual or business lunch, right by the river with a lovely view. The restaurant/bar is mainly filled by city workers however it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely choice of food as well and not too pricey!
N. G.
The grilled trout was excellent! The service by Agnes was superb and I could not be more pleased at how cold my Guinness was! The fish and chips were also fantastic!
P. W.
Lovely location. But, god no, another app to download to order!
S. C.
Been here a few times for lunch and after work drinks. Food always good. Service can be hit or miss. Great location especially on a sunny afternoon if you bag a table outside
S. P.
This is a great bar for the Summer in fact any day the sun is shining! Good choice of food including some quality nibbles. Good choice of beer, larger wine etc. Nice atmosphere friendly staff but does get a little busy on those summer evenings.
P. W.
good food. chicken - for me to small portion
K. F.
The pub is good, expensive but decent product and great location. The problem is that it is always so rammed that it's not a very relaxed evening. Not their fault but does impact the overall experience.
I. G.
Slick service by amazing staff. Lots of choice o the drinks front. The food was freshly made and tasty.
u. m.
Had an amazing time with my friends! Had perfectly made oysters! Very nice staff! The receptionist Ieva gave us perfect table! Would recommend for everyone who's looking for a perfect evening!
S. K.
Great Fish n Chips and drink selection! The location along the River also provides wonderful views. This is a must visit for food, drinks, and overall excellent atmosphere!
S. C.
Love the location of this bar on a sunny summers evening. Its always packed and understandably so. Downside is the queue for the drinks (sometimes) and the loos. Two cubicles isn't enough for a bar of that size.
N. C.
Great Night out.
Staff were brilliant, food also 👍 good.
S. M.
Great view of the Thames as a result can get very busy and you might end up waiting a while for service. Gents toilets require a journey into the bowels of the Earth but there is a lift if you don't fancy the exercise. Good choice of drinks for the office crowd....if you are looking for something cute or funky then this isn't for you.
P. G.
Amazing location and ambience!
l. s.
Thank you for your lovely time Oyster Shed amazing food and great service to from sweet waitress Lola.thank you guys
M. W.
Had prosecco and oysters. Half way through Sunday they run out of some menu options, but the ambience and service was nice. Kid-friendly too!
J. M.
Lovely spot on the river. Good quality food as well.
R. W.
You might hate the idea of swallowing an Oyster and think that sheds are filthy places but don't let that put you off. Modern, glass fronted, spacious, good beer on tap, the Shed is a great place for a post work beer. The views across the Thames towards the Shard and London Bridge are excellent. Understandably popular with the Nomura lot as they're just next door, lucky sods. Can get almost too busy so head up to the mezzanine if you can, there's a smaller bar up there too. Expect to wait to have your thirst quenched in Summer.
A. D.
Lovely place by the river. You are paying top price for this and as it's just next to city the usual city types are there. It's a good date spot or a spot if the waehther is nice to enjoy the view
N. P. d. B.
Very cool place with nice views of the river and the shard
A. B. (.
Good fun though nothing remotely like an oyster shed. Lovely views at the front over The Thames, decent beer selection though staff not hot on knowing who came before who.
M. C.
A decent place on a sunny day to have a post work drink on the river. Does get very busy! Not had the food so can’t comment.
E. H.
Good bar/pub serves beer/drinks....
I. F.
Waited for 30 mins to get a bottle of sparkling water.
Asked for it for 4 times.
Received a bottle of warm water. Apparently they never have a chilled sparkling water.
Ok
R. A.
Gets very busy here in the evenings, but has great views over the river and is lovely in summer. You definitely need to book if you want a table or food.
K. F.
Lovely place for a drink, by the river with a view of the shard.
S. C.
If you are based in the city and its sunny 5 star place, food 4 stars, bar stuff 2-3. Takes for ever to get a drink there. Not sure even if its the staffs fault or management for not putting on more staff. Anyway check it out on a sunny day!
M. L.
A bit expensive but that's London for you
Nice sitting by the river
V. M.
Lovely spot by the river with a great drinks menu and decent food
A. G.
Always absolutely rammed the minute there's sun so takes forever to get served, suggest bulk ordering. Ale always kept well, although they seem to run out of the guest fairly often.
A. M.
This bar is great for it's location by the river but the queues at the bar immediately after work are so awful and unstructured that sometimes I just want to leave as it's pretty painful. Lovely scotch eggs here though!
Y. K.
Great location & view, right next to the Thames. Gets very busy, service is mediocre, nothing special about the place except the location. Nice for a couple of drinks after work but probably not for an all-nighter.
M. Z.
Decent river-side boozer. Gets ridiculously busy on Thursdays and Fridays, and staff usually appears overworked and unwelcoming. Ordering a drink at the bar often takes ages for no apparent reason.
G. C.
What's not to like having a beer next to the river cleanest river in the wold, so they say. Nice venue but when it's a nice day get down early, rammed is not the word
G. B.
Met some friends here for drinks and dinner. Great location, atmosphere and food. Iskra was an absolute star as our server for the evening!
M. D.
Great cocktails, excellent location. Service in the restaurant needs to improve a little bit, but the bartenders and the outside atmosphere is always tops.
A. P.
Can be crowded in the evenings, but the Riverside location and being in the heart of the financial district is nice. Also, if the weather is nice, get your drink in a plastic cup and sit outside by the river.
A. &. S. D.
Stunning location and surprisingly good food. Staff are attentive and helpful. Get a seat by the windows if you can!
D. F.
Pricey but right next to river and good beers on offer.
S. l.
When it's busy it's impossible, lining up for drinks for 20 minutes, but how many bar staff can be working? Hot sunny day, no where to sit outside. But good location. Can't comment on the food
M. H.
We had our office party here. Good service, great finger food choices. Super busy to full capacity. Good music too.
J. D.
Very nice place, great view to the Shard, good service and good food. Also full of Essex people during the weekends for the entertainement :-).
B. G. (.
It's the perfect bar overlooking the Thames away from all the polution. The drinks are a bit pricey. But I guess you are also paying for the view.
L. C. B.
If you wanna enjoy a good view while you have a drink in summertime, this is the place to go. Stay away from eating here though, it's very pricey and portions are very small.
V. M.
Lovely space with lots of light and good view of the river. Perfect for events. Food selection is very good. From the bites all mini burgers and mini fish and chips are awesome!
M. J.
Had dinner on a Wednesday which I thought would be a quiet night.. Music blaring and got louder as we got to dessert. Food was nice and had a varied selection on the menu. Good price.
J. M.
An large pub/restaurant with nice decor in a great location by the riverside. The venison burger is very tasty and the waiters are quick and attentive.
L. W.
Nice location, especially in summer if you can grab a table outside. Decent gastropub food and selection of drinks. Ideal for a relaxed drink after work on the river.
C. J.
Nice pub along the river. Has great views is The Shard. Gets very busy though with the after work crowd.
R.
Great location. Nick also did great service, never had to wait abs very attentive
P. C.
Nice place for a beer on the north shore, specially if it's sunny. Gets extremely crowded though and they should account for that at the bar. It takes ages to get something if it's a sunny day
A. B.
Very pleasant atmosphere and good food, it was very busy at lunchtime with the hot weather adding to it, but nevertheless the staff were very attentive and professional and a particular mention goes to Jana who looked after us and was very pleasant to talk to :) Recommended!
B. 9.
The staff were very attentive, served an excellent pint of real ale, along with the best sausage roll I have had in some while.
D. B.
Nice spot. Food good and good service.
S. Ś.
Pub. Made differently. With typical pub food. Made way better than in any other pubs. And great beer (Camden Pale Ale - try it!). A must every time I'm in London
L. M.
Nice location next to the river and doesn't get crazy busy as it isn't too easy to stumble across. Nice food and selection of drinks. Good view of the shard from here too
D. L.
Nice place but rushed by staff to leave the table....won't be going back in a hurry !!
M. T.
Place looks nice but food wasnt amazing... We had a Xmas party but the dishes on our tables were missing alot of veg when comparing to the other tables'..
A. G. S.
Great location, nice food and top service.
G. E.
Nice view
S. A.
Jana one of the hostesses was lovely and managed to get us a table when it was really busy on a Thursday night - love this place! Great food!
M. B.
Great for a drink after work in the city. Big negative is that on a nice sunny day it can be so crowded it will take you 45 min to order a drink.
M. M. W.
Good view, good service. The food was okay but nothing more than that. I wouldn't mind coming back but I won't be seeking it out.
C. Y.
We had a private space for a team get together. All really good - really hot outside 30° or so; so loved the air-conditioning inside
J. M.
Very busy on a hot sunny day after everyone finishes work. Food is average and overpriced. Staff are usually decent. It's a big place
S. V.
My boyfriend states this is the best burger in London! The toad in the hole was pretty epic too! Lovely atmosphere and great location!
A. K.
Surprisingly good service and food. Nice place to hang out with friends, colleagues, etc.
J. F.
Exactly what you would expect- perfectly good, efficient pub which gets very busy after work. Quite expensive and not going to set the world alight but a good setting does compensate
M. F.
On our walk between Tower and London Eye we took a pause here. A lot of different beverages, beers and other drinks. Next time when we visit London we definitly will choose it again.
f. e.
Great atmosphere ! Special thanks to Stacey who helped us to arrange a last minute table.. with her lovely smile on :)
C. M.
Came here for a wedding reception and it was a lovely venue, location was great and having a drink right on the river as the sun set was really nice. The food we had was great and had a boss time.
C. M.
Pleasant views, nice atmosphere. Did't eat so can't give a full rating but food looked good.
T. M.
A nice atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon having a drink or two
J. H.
Amazing location for food or drinks
J. H.
Was absolutely rammed outside when hot but good fun
J. W.
Excellent food and a great space, but very poor service: despite being overstaffed at lunch, two waiters made eye contact with me (and saw me wave at them) but just walked past regardless, then when our order was eventually taken the drinks were forgotten until we nagged.
T. O.
Great location, nice bar but nowhere near enough bar staff.
Surely they know it's going to be busy on a Friday evening.
L. L.
I've been there for a Christmas lunch and the food was nice with an efficient service although the restaurant was really busy. The view on the Thames is stunning!
P. C.
In the autumn/winter, when the sun is low, it is uncomfortable as the sun is in your eyes and the temperature uncomfortable - they need better anti-solar gain coating on the windows. Other than that it is an average bar with the benefit of a river view.
L. M.
Great little bar seats along the river. Nice atmosphere and good selection of drinks on offer.
P. D.
Great place overlooking the river. Food well presented and hot. Staff friendly.
S. B.
Busy bar when the weather is sunny. Very popular for after work drinks. Good selection of drinks - food is so-so but we only shared a few of the sharing platters.
L. C.
Loved how they offer drinks on their terrace, where you can safely enjoy the view...
A. M.
Came highly recommended, although 40mins after ordering we were told the pie we had ordered was not available! Annoyingly we re-ordered, when the food finally came, it was lovely and for our inconvenience, it was on the house
R. G.
Great pub with fantastic views over the Thames and a good selection of drinks, but it gets unbelievable busy as soon as the slightest ray of sunshine hits London.
s. m.
Amazing Smoked fish. Haddock the best I have tasted. Salmon great too.
A. T. E. E.
Stunning location, great restaurant, lovely place for a drink after work
m. h.
Nice lunch choices, good selection of wine. Pleasant place to sit outside on the north Bank if the sun is out.
R. D.
Great space, good service, decent pub fair. Pleasantly calm at the weekend. Well worth a visit.
A. A.
Brilliant views. Great atmosphere. Nice place to go after a long day at work especially during the summer
P. M.
Lovely wines and an awesome view.
Z. E.
Nice bar and fair prices. Great location. Surprised the rooftop was closed midweek though.
S. L.
Great food and views over the Thames. As a result, it gets rather packed on those days when the weather is good.
S. D.
Very fresh produce. Very good food for a reasonable price and just beside Tallisker distillery. My tip is to visit the fairy pools.
R. Y.
Great location, good range of drinks and decent food. Loses a star for incredibly slow bar service.
J. P.
Good atmosphere and beer selection. Music was so loud we had to go outside to hear each other
D. M.
Took ages to get served. Bar staff need a little more training on what order to serve customers at the bar. I got a clear feeling, they didn't care.
E.
Nice atmosphere and good service, but pricey.
A. R.
Very busy on a sunny day (45mins to get a drink!) but a nice location with great views. Filled with bankers.
N. L.
One of the better spots on the water. Good beers, decent menu and great views.
M. H.
Fabulous food and service!
M.
Dirty tables, rather poor menu if you go for healthy food. Thought the location and view is nice
O. T.
Great place in a beautiful location right down at the Thames with the possibility of outside drinking. Can get rather busy and crowded though towards the weekend
G. W.
Nice bar, busy in the summer. Did menu is ready enough but does not vary enough for repeat visits.
R. G.
Very nice place and the drinks are average price. Gets extremely busy during hot/sunny days.
S. S.
Great place by rhe river and gets busy on Thursdays. Especially lovly when sunny and great outdoor place to sit and relax.
M. K.
Love the location! Good quality overall
r. b.
beautiful bar, with beautiful views. could do more with non alcoholic drink and cocktails
A. S. H. R.
Top class London bar
S. W.
Fantastic location. Set right on the river this is a great place to enjoy a drink in the summer
C. B.
Great place on a warm sunny day. Take care if its blisteringly hot though, the building has a lot of glass!
D. S.
Superb location. Excellent food and service. A hub of social society. Great for private functions too. Highly recommended.
J. P.
Had an area for drinks and food with colleagues and clients. The food sliders are excellent, great service and well organised
D. H.
Nick - the LEGEND!!! Super helpful - super generous - nothing but accommodating during these difficult times! Can’t beat some proper customer service - cheers pal!
K. A.
Good food, good selection of wine. Let's make it 5 stars, but the name is khmmm... change it!
A. A. H.
Don't let partime staff affect your service to clients. Otherwise perfection
s.
Good place to catch sun. Overlooking the Thames.
S. M.
Food was ok, reheated potatoes, lamb crispy from a heat lamp. Pretty place with nice view over the river.
S. E.
Great pub by the river, serving a good selection of beers. Can get very busy during the summer months.
E. L.
Excellent venue, a relief to be able to head back out!
W. S.
Apparently the oysters are to die for here , but don't like them so had a cheese burger (with no cheese) I'm a frugal man so found the menu on the expensive side . Good service , nice views...
j. 0.
Next to the thames which is nice and the place is spacious but the men's room relative to the size of the place is absolutely tiny.
P. I.
Great location on the river. The food is perhaps slightly overpriced but with the view it's worth it
H. X.
I had a bit of stomach problem after eating fish and chips there. Maybe it's just me. The ambiance was nice and sound.
m. d.
Nice Summer pub by the Thames. Only downside is it gets incredibly busy at peak hours. Friendly staff.
M.
Very friendly as always
C. J.
Good views and great menu, prices for a pint can be a bit steep but you can expect that from the location
G. P.
Really nice location and staff
B. M.
Really delicious oysters. I got the all you can eat option and they ran out after 3 dozen. Not so unlimited if you ask me.
I. N.
Friendly and helpful staff with good atmosphere and views. Nice place even though nothing stand out about the place or decor
Y. B.
Nice location, good food.
P. B.
Full of navy officers! Nice staff, good range of food and drink. I shall go again.
M.
Great service !! Especially rashida, daisy and Bessie! All super helpful!
S. C.
Great Bar, Good Food, Friendly Staff - One of the best riverside Bars I know.

The busiest placed in the world when the sun is out. No seats but good outside standing place by the river if that's what you want.

It's a pub not a restaurant, so the rest of the menu was just ok. The view on the river and the Shard is quite good.

NYE... A little over priced in my opinion. Music wasn't all that. Even though it appeared to be a sell out in terms of tickets, it seemed quiet there.

Good selection of drinks and efficient service

Food was amazing really friendly staff

Above average (best in class) views but pretty benign beer selection.

Totally unexpected gem. A real pleasure and an experience I would seek out again possibly after the main lunch rush but will be back!

Hard to fault this huge Fuller's pub with great views and bang on the Thames.

Lovely place and amazing view you feel like to meet your own soul at night with couple of drinks :)

Really busy in summer as it's right on the river. Great place for an after work beer in the sunshine.

Nice bar, nice location, just pricey and hard to get a drink on a busy night.

Great waterside bar, however, a bit too crowded for my taste

Great Views, lovely location, but... food, wine and others just the same as other Young's Pubs, they could be a bit independent?

Shiny, sparkly drinking hole right on the Thames in the City. Very much the after work crowd so relatively busy but nice

nice location but the bar is understaffed considering its popularity. Also full of suits so the customers aren't the friendliest.
