Reviews of The Phoenix

You haven't worked in the City until you've drank here! Proper City boys pub, famous for being the original non smoking pub back in the day. Drinks are good, haven't tried any food. Music gets a little loud in the eve (great for a party atmos but if you want somewhere to talk then not so good). Overall a good pub

I like this new bar, good size, great, selection of drinks. Haven't tried the food yet but the menu looks good.

Busy pub on a Friday night smack bang in the centre of the city. Plenty of suits around with the atmosphere to suit, but big enough to catch up with a group. Music a touch loud for 7pm after work drinks as it was more in line with 10/11pm ready to dance vibe. Would probably venture again as a central catch up point, but wouldn’t seek it out as a destination

I loved this place! Excellent spot in central London, as a restaurant for lunch meeting and as a pub afterwards. We tried the american burger with extra sweet potato fries which was exquisite, and a
Asahi and Estrella draft beers. We would be more satisfied if the kitchen remained open for the Champions League match later since we tries to order finger food and small plates along with our beers but the kitchen closes after 16:00.

Lovely regular pub with decent drinks and food. Friendly staff. Gets packed with Bank people after work. Shows sports as well.

Great pub. Visited to meet friends to watch an Italy game in the Euros. Friendly staff and great service. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is that all the food we tried to order was unavailable as they said they had run out. Given how quiet the pub was on the night and in general they shouldn't be running out of menu items at 7:30pm on a Wednesday. The food we did have was still good but when you've tried to order 2 different items and have to settle for your 3rd choice its never going to be as enjoyable as what you really wanted to eat.

Have booked twice now to watch the Euros. Booking experience has been the best so far if comparing to other places we tried before. Very efficient and friendly! Thank you! Good beer selection and the food we've tried so far has been delicious.

Spacious and nice pub in the heart of the city. It is rather packed between 5-7pm but then becomes more enjoyable. Good choice of draft beers and food as well. We tried the Nachos platter which was expensive but really worth it. Overall, good pub to meet with colleages and friends after work.

I only go here to meet friends, the place is OK but it's the music too loud you can barely hear someone speaking to you. Not complaining though.

City pub with load music. 6 beers for under £35. Good pub to start the night.
