I came here to watch the football the other night, having booked a table for it, but due to other matches being on that same night all the big screens were already occupied. Staff completely sorted us out with a big screen in the really cosy back room, very friendly and really just wanting to help us out. Big thanks for it. Food and drinks were great as always. Starting to become quite a staple place for myself and friends to come and watch the football. Staff are great. Cheers!

Lovely friendly pub with great people behind the bar. Lots of televisions, geared towards the sports, rugby coming on even during the football world cup, well done. You can escape to the beer garden if you want to avoid sporting endeavours, it's not intrusive anyway! Good, simple pub menu. Certainly worth a visit, give the Pilgrim a try!

We were super hungry when we came in after a few bottles of wine in central London. I chose the beef burger with blue cheese. The burger itself was very nice but I somehow could not get much of the blue cheese flavour 🤷🏻‍♀️ Overall was very cute in there and it seemed like a small community. Also they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays which is always a bonus for me in a pub.

The moo pie was delicious! Also if you like gin and tonic, order the Beefeater London Garden Gin in tonic or ginger ale. This is one of the only bars in the world you can get this gin at since it’s right down the street from the Beefeater Distillery!

This is one of my favourite pubs in London. You can have a nice peaceful lunch here and the food is so good. I had a Fish Finger Burger and it was delicious - the tartar sauce was amazing. They also stock a good selection of gin (just as well as it's opposite the Beefeater Gin Distillery). There is a beer garden too. The staff are friendly and the ambience is really nice.

Came here after touring the Beefeater gin distillery down the street, thanks to the 2 for 1 coupon given to us for The Pilgrim after the tour. Turned out to be a fantastic place! Great beer garden / patio to eat and drink. They pour a good g&t and had great sandwiches (fantastic bread) for a fair price. Really enjoy this spot!

Kennington local pub with a lovely beer garden and decent happy hour (two bottles for £5), Sunday features a great pub quiz with a fabulous host. Great location, great interior and exterior, great time. All in all would recommend.

Used to come here most Sundays a few years back when I lived locally. Popped in again for a few pints with mates on our first proper post lockdown catchup. Staff were super friendly, helpful and worked together really well. The whole front garden area was covered with a giant canopy as well which is perfect for London weather.

It was ok. I wanted to run a tab and they insisted on holding on to my credit card. No way! As well as illegal I think, all other places I visit just take swipe of the card with no monies being taken and you settle on departure. So if you were to ,"do a runner" they would have the opportunity of taking payment.

Excellent friendly pub that is the perfect spot to catch a rugby match. I have watched many International and Six Nations games here and have always enjoyed the atmosphere in the pub. Beers are well-priced and the food is great too. I strongly advise booking an area in advance if you can, and if you’re really lucky you can get the whole private area behind the bar to enjoy the game! I was treated to that for my birthday one year, a great experience.

This is one of my favourite pubs. The food is great and the staff are so friendly. There was a guy there working called Jason who I have to say is the best bar worker I have ever met. He always was quick serving us and made us felt special. You deserve a pay rise dude. Defo bringing more of my friends here.

Good pub. Prices are as expected for London (£5.50 a pint). Great seating areas, can get busy after 6pm on a Friday but that's expected. Food is good to too I've heard, not tried. Happy hour starts at 7pm, ok choices.

The drinks selection was good and the food menu was pretty fair too. The burgers were very nice but the sausages arrived and went from overdone to inedible. When this issue was raised with the bar staff we were greeted with a less than sympathetic response and were told we should have said something sooner and that was the end of the matter. No apology and no offer to make amends for a less than impressive meal. When you have spent over £100 on a round of drinks and a meal you'd expect better.

I fell in love with that place. Staff is very friendly. They explained us how to use "Charger UK" while quite busy time, very appreciated. We run out of batteries in our phones so we enjoyed the charger by "Charger UK". Happy our 7-9 pm was just bonus to enjoy watching football on the huge projection screen from comfy sofas. We didn't try heated garden place but it seemed to be cool place regarding to many people going out there and back to order more drinks. Next time I'll try meal too. 🌟

Fantastic local pub! It was pretty quiet when we went as it was a tuesday evening but the layout and atmosphere is cosy yet spacious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We did not eat but menu has a great selection of gourmet burgers. There's a lovely back outdoor area with heaters and cover and a good few screens dotted about. Chatting with the staff discovered they also have live music every friday. Defo will be going back.

My girlfriend and I found this to be our favorite pub in London during our 2 day stay. The atmosphere was awesome, with TVs everywhere and casual couches to watch the rugby games while we ate. The beer selection was decent and the fish and chips were solid. I gave it a 4 because I got about 5 bones in my fish and chips, but my girlfriend had none.

Stopped into here for a bite of food after doing the Beefeaters tour and I wasn’t let down a bit. Food was priced great, big portions and the taste was amazing. I had the fish finger burger and chips! If you tour or visit the beefeater distillery, they have a 2 for 1 drink special at The Pilgrim - which does include Beefeaters gin that is not sold else where.

One of the best pubs I've been to in Kennington, very welcoming and the staff are always ready to banter and smile :) Special thanks to Roland and Elie who constantly had amazing music playing and the other lady who was working on Sunday (I didn't get her name but she was quite good at darts if I remember correctly) I definitely recommend this pub if you're taking someone on a date, the alcohol isn't really expensive and they have Darts! I've beaten my girl at darts now and I dont think I'll hear the end of it, she even hit a bullseye the mad woman.

Very nice pub for a drink but the food was weak. Burger was okay but if you’re gonna serve pub food at least use Heinz ketchup not some cheap alternative in a Heinz-shaped bottle that is clearly Tesco’s own. Music choice was also questionable playing Saturday afternoon pub classics such as Mariah Carey’s “Hero” and Atomic Kitten’s “the tide is high”. Try again Pilgrim.

I thought I was going to hate The Pilgrim! Something about the decor, the big screens and the entirely Australian staff I thought this was going to be like one of those awful Walkabout bars. I was very wrong. The staff were very friendly, the sport wasnt overbearingly loud and they had a really good pub quiz on a Sunday! Also the building looks amazing at night. A really laid-back, god pub that I will be going back to.
