I will have to come yet again the manger Ed also came by and said hi made me and my group feel so welcome

The place has self-seating, and if there was supposed to be table service, I didn't see it. I waited at my table for someone to show up and take my order. After 15 minutes I walked up to the bar and asked what I supposed to do. The woman behind the bar asked me if I wanted to order. I said yes. She asked what table I was at (clearly she wasn't watching the tables, even though she was the only one carrying food to the tables and had passed me multiple times) and I returned to my table.
The food came out about 20 minutes after I ordered it (around 4pm). It was extremely hot, and quite good. I had to again go up to the bar and track down someone in order to pay my bill. They do not approach the tables, at all.
Pro tip: sit upstairs in their "dining room", not downstairs like I did. There is no seat downstairs that isn't within 3-5 meters of their several doors, and Londoners like to stand LITERALLY right outside the doors and smoke. So, not only will you get a constant stream of cold air wafting on you if you sit downstairs, but you'll also get plenty of cigarette smoke too. Upstairs, it should be better.

Well worth a visit, fantastic place!
l.We popped here for a bite as we were starving on our way home. The place was empty enough and we didn't encounter any problems finding a table. You have to order at the bar, we opted for the Sunday roast with the seasonal trimmings. The serving consisted of 2 slices of beef, which were cooked well done, veges which were hard, potatoes which I feel were deep fried and gravy which I am convinced was from those granules you can buy at Tesco and add hot water. The Yorkshire pudding was from the freezer section of the same Tesco run.
Overall the place was OK - I can't suggest this place if your looking for something excellent but it might fill the gap on the way home if it's an emergency.
F. A.It's a good pub/restaurant, it has a good attention by the staff, the food is indeed very tasty and well served, even though the menu has very few options. I've had the Chicken Aragon Pie and my friend the Pan fried Salmon and were delicious. I must recommend this place. It has a very familiar atmosphere and was very near from our hotel. We're Americans so we're a little backwards when it comes to pubs, but the staff were understanding and accommodated us.

P. W.Had Sunday lunch last Sunday with my son, we had the roast lamb and it was lovely, very tasty and cooked nice. The service was a bit hit and miss because there was only 1 young lad and he done his best. BUT and a BIG BUT my son wanted to go to toilet and this is what we found the place stunk to hi heaven and both cubicles look like the picture taken, after that we just left as it made us feel quite sick. Shame because the food was quite nice.

Great beer, wine and liquor selection as well. My favorite thing about the place was the atmosphere, you can choose an intimate corner or the fabulous upstairs dining area, or relax at the bar and learn about all the best local places to go/ things to do. 5 stars honestly this place was the best part of our trip. The service really made us smile.

J. G. M.They have a small kitchen, but they know very well how to use it. The burgers are really good, juicy and full of flavour. They have a simple menu, but enough extras to add on top.
The staff knows how to manage the place quite good as well. Waiters and waitresses are very nice, attentive and polite. And the cooks deliver the food promptly without ruining it.
The only downside is that the place seems get packed. It was very busy when I visited, although we still managed to get a couple of tables for 9 people.
Price wise I would say that it is not expensive (even less by London standards) given the quality of the food.

Ordered a full English and the prince's take on eggs Benedict with avocado and smoked salmon. Both excellent with tea and coffee included. Prices average for quality and location (£17.45 for the two dishes we had) would recommend and visit again.

J. K.Went yesterday with a friend for a roast dinner. I enjoyed my roast beef the only complaint I would have is that the potatoes were not roasted very well. Value for London was very good. My friend had the lamb but found it very fatty and the veg not cooked. You cannot please everyone! The young lady that served us first was very helpful but the lad that bought the meal was not sure whether they had run out of mustard which I though was a strange comment. 7/10

The staff was friendly and charming, and the beer selection was standard for pubs.
The only negative was the music... It was sleepy music when it came out circa 1999-2004. At 7pm, it should be more upset and current.

D. K.This is a great pub, with very good food and an excellent, very friendly staff. They will make you feel right at home, and Joe, the owner, is as hospitable as you could possibly ask. The crowd Is very friendly too, and I found myself wanting to get back to Earls Court each night before they closed to get one last pint with the staff and patrons, as they remember you and make you feel welcome each time you are there.

M.Went there for a drink with my mother, the service and the servers were super nice. I really enjoyed that all kind of people gathered there : family, friends, young, less young. The tap cider (pale), was really good. Honestly we had a really great time, i would definitly go back there if giving the chance. I didnt order anything to eat so i don't know about the food, but as a bar/pub i definitly recommend !

D. S.Good service and wonderful chips but unfortunately, the 'gravy' they use on their sausage and mash, and also in their pies is not very pleasant and gets very sickly, overpowering and spoiling the flavour of the very high quality sausages and pies that they have.
I would recommend ordering food without the gravy.

We could spot a total of two waiters, one of them busy working in the bar and the other one leaning over the bar desk showing no interest what so ever in taking our order, even after spotting us. The food would make me go back, but the overall experience would not.

sausages with smashed potatoes, fish and chips(with the perfect chips imho), tomato soup, were soooo good, it felt like a 2nd home for us.

K. S.We went here after we got abysmal service next door at Gusto. While the service here was better, it wasn't anything special and neither was the food.
It will do if you're just really hungry and pub food sounds good but there are better options in the area.
R.Sunday lunch was below average for a standard price. Chicken Roast: Gravy has a funny taste, chicken was dry although veg and potatoes were ok. Vegetable Roast: not really a roast, bit weird, wouldn't buy again.

M. T.Standard selection of branded beers available, with nothing interesting or special. Food looked like run of the mill pre-prepared stuff that is heated before serving. Example, I asked for a pie, the dish and filling was hot but the pie crust was cold.
There are much better pubs only a short walk away where you can get better food and a more interesting selection of beers.
S. H.Pity about the prices, thought £4.85 for a pint of Fosters was a bit steap but it's on par with surrounding pubs. The staff are nice enough.

Being from the USA, we do not get to drink cask conditioned ale very often - my only USA experience is at Coopersmiths in Fort Collins Colorado - they have a cask conditioned pale ale that is on par with any good English ale.

S. R.I was pleasantly surprised as to the choice on offer in the menu. I opted for the Feta/Avocado quesadilla in a beetroot tortilla and wasn't disappointed. The portion size is not large but as the deal included a pint of BrewDog Planet Pale for an extra £2...one can't complain. I went at lunch time and got a table upstairs, not sure what it's like when it's really busy. The staff are friendly and happy to explain the craft beers on offer.
