We visited this pub for a quick drink, with friends who live locally. It's really popular and has a relaxed atmosphere. There's a vast array of beers to choose from and the prices are quite reasonable. Other drinks are available. There are tables both inside and out. The walls are decorated with copious numbers of unique beer mats. The staff were friendly and welcoming providing a good service. I'm not sure if dogs are permitted. A great place to stop.

My friends and I called in for a quick pint on a Saturday afternoon whilst wandering around South London. I found it to be nice little place with a polite and friendly barman and a good range of craft beers. I'd recommend it and would not hesitate to return.

Lovely little pub. Some good beers on offer. Food looked good from afar but must admit I didn't try any as was only there for drinks. The team behind the bar were real stars. They turned on the eurovision for our group, even ended up watching some of it and joining in the fun. Then when I left my phone on leaving, the barman ran 100m down the road to give it back to me. Massive thank you!

Great local pub with outside seating as well as a cosy interior. Good craft beers and unusual spirits. Pleasant food (ribs, burgers, platters and specials). Close to Larkhall Park, so an excellent place for a pit stop. To respect social distancing the bar has a perspex screen round it with a gap just big enough at counter height for a wine glass. Friendly and helpful staff.

The best local spot for craft beer selection and a burger. Highly recommend the classic cheese burger with double patty and pickles, or go for the blue cheese if you love cheesiness. The portions are super generous and their churros are BANGIN!

I love the atmosphere at the Priory Arms. It is neither too quiet or noisy. For me it is just right. They have a very fine selection of Ales, which you are encouraged to sample before purchasing, ensuring your tastebuds are never disappointed. Unfortunately for me, I don't live in London. If I did I would visit this wonderful venue frequently. I must also add that the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

A lovely local pub with new craft beers every few weeks. Good food, if a touch pricey. Relaxed atmosphere with board games and friendly staff. Check your glass as sometimes can have skipped the wash by accident, but not a bother compared to how cute the place is.

Went here for a beer festival so can't account what the selection is like on a normal day, but that weekend it was very extensive. Good selection of board games and a bit of a hidden gem in the area. Only downside was that the barmaid serving us wasn't too clued up on all the different ales/beers on offer - wasn't too much of a problem as it meant we got to sample them. Would definitely visit again next beer festival.

Small pub with a brilliant atmosphere. Beers here are always extremely good. Staff are really friendly. They started serving good Mexican food recently aswell which is a unusual but great twist. Soon, they'll be serving a Sunday roast too.

Stumbled across this gem while visiting from Canada. Great local spot with loads of amazing craft beers (both on tap and in bottle) from the UK and abroad. Happened to be there for a trivia night which was fun. Really enjoyed chatting with the owner about local breweries and he suggested some other pubs in London which were also a hit. Great atmosphere and service and you can't go wrong with the bevies!

Nice friendly pub located close to the Stockwell tube station (About a 5-6 minute walk). Visited during their winter ale festival on 16th November and found it to be busy but full of friendly atmosphere. Full of interesting pump clips from previous ale stock, compact but surprisingly spacious (Lots of room at the bar) Staff were friendly and highly professional. They may not have been ale drinkers themselves to be able to offer advice about the beers on tap ans keg but knew exactly where each ale was and were able to keep pace with the extra stock versus bar orders which is a sign of good staff and good staff. Highly Recommended, would visit again when in area

A proper pub, and a little gem. They have fantastic selection of real ales, craft beers and Belgian bottles. The staff are always lovely, super helpful and let you try before you buy. They also do amazing fish finger sandwiches which should be on every pub menu!

Big fan of this cozy neighborhood place. Was visiting a friend in the area and we popped in for pint and some bar snacks. Was really impressed with beer selection- the gent running the place really knows what he's talking about! It has a very easy going laid back vibe and the regulars were friendly and welcoming. Easily the best pub in London. Independently owned with no gimmicks. Just a great beer selection, reasonably priced for London, good food offering and excellent, well-mannered, well-trained staff. I live in north London and make the trip down at least once a week and believe me, it's worth it!

Great Mexican food, especially loved the burrito and sweet potato fries. Massive portions. No hot drinks of any kind available (mulled wine, mulled cider, or even tea and coffee) which was a bummer on this wintery day, although I saw an extensive beer collection, which seemed to draw the crowds. Bar and wait staff were friendly, but it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive, even though we were the only people who had ordered food, as far as we could see. Would recommend for beer, including craft beer, and decent Mexican food at a pub, including those after a few vegetarian options.

I came to London to see some soccer and some theatre, but I’m leaving London after having just the best time at the local pub across the street from the flat I rented. And I’m walking away with a mad crush on my new favorite bar manager (Amy) - she was the absolute best - friendly, knowledgeable, great service with the right amount of trouble twinkling in her eyes. I reckon this is the best local I've ever had whilst living in London. They've got a small but brilliant frequently-changing range of beers on tap - except for when they're having running a beer festival, in which case there'll be a huge but still-just-as-brilliant range. The staff are relaxed but helpful staff, and there's great food too - hot dogs loaded with crispy fried onions, and burgers that have marrowbone in them (so they're very rich - may be better to share one).

I like the Priory arms. It's quite small so there don't need to be a huge number of people in there for it to feel busy, but the beer selection is always good, couple of local breweries mixed in with some from further afield and a couple of internationals thrown into the mix as well. Not had the food but it smells delicious. Staff have always been very friendly

This is our local pub. We're so happy to have it around. Outside, the little tables are perfect when it's sunny. Inside it may not be the most typical pub but it's very cosy. We also love the service : nice and discreet people serving very good beers. Non mentioning the food: it's very good for such a tiny pub (ok, let's be honest some of the things they cook are probably not fully prepared there, but well, what ends in my plate tastes good, so..)

As a fan of the geuze style and also sour beers, this was a great find. The food also helped us stave off the worst effects of our excess, and the staff were helpful with service prompt. The addition of board games and comfy seats added to the feeling that this is a place you could lose hours and hours in, although some of the more 'modern board game revolution' additions (like Catan or similar) would be a fine addition to a range that could have been at home in a toy cupboard of the 80s. Thanks to the bar staff for serving us copious amounts a bit too close to closing time!

Not as good as it once was. Wide selection of real ale but they tend to stock the weird and trendy. The past 3 times I've been here there wasn't a single beer which identified itself as a bitter.

ive heard a great deal about this pub, but as its the only decent pub in stockwell and the surrounding areas i have always shrugged it off for another day. However, i saw its in the good beer guide once again, and all my pals are raving about previous beer festivals and their current beer selection. nice, short walk from the station. im a sucker for beer mats and beer memorabilia so it took me a while to get to the bar. great selection of ales, only had one and it was in great condition, recommended by the landlord. i decided to veer towards the beers on tap instead, kernel, partizan, thornbridge and beavertown. food was excellent, perfectly complimenting the vast amount of craft beer on offer. this one of my favorite pubs ive been to so far, will be back for a visit more regularly

Nice place, great location and fantastic beers, including strong Belgian brews such as Delirium Tremens, Chimay, Lindemans and the reassuringly-expensive Lambic beer Cantillon. Wouldn't bother with the food if it's on though, as there are far better places around like the Canton and Hot Stuff.
