Reviews of The Queen's Head, Hammersmith
L. V.
Good pub with a surprisingly big back garden! The tables were spread apart due to COVID guidelines and that probably made the place feel chilled even having a few busy tables around. Food and drinks came really fast after we ordered digitally. Service is very good and helpful. The burger wasn't amazing but was good (I wish they put more of the "secret sauce" in!) and the portion of fries was definitely small. Good selection of beers and cozy elegant atmosphere inside (just very cold with the air-conditioning on).
L. E.
Absolutely incredible. The manager was amazing and funny, and let us use his phone to see the menu since mine couldn't scan the QR code. He was so kind and reguarly came to check on us, the lady who waited our table with the bumble bee tattoo was also wonderful and super attentive! The food was superb, I ordered the prawn cocktail for a starter and the salmon with new potatoes for a main. The place had a beautiful atmosphere and was full as it's clearly a great place but did not feel crowded at all. The garden is also gorgeous with beautiful fairy lights that feel really romantic. I loved it!
Note before: The menu on the website is different to the menu they served, as I’m guessing they change it up seasonally. The two below dishes are not on the online menu but you can find them using the QR code when you get there.

I really like this place. Went there several times. Food is good. The place is spacious with an incredible outdoor space and friendly staff. I only ever ate fish and chips (personal obsession) but all other food looks good. They also have nice wine selection. Easily found a dinning table on both a Friday and a Saturday without prior booking. The drinks only area is busy. Hope you enjoy it.
B. C. B.
Lovely pub with amazing customer service and good quality food. Tried steak and was perfectly done. Also convenient parking pay and display just opposite the pub, which for London is very important. Definitely place to visit.
D. H.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The amazing Francesca and her team! From start to finish the organising of my father's wake was 1st class from Francesca! Thank you so much for making the whole experience so easy and the day so lovely!
N. B.
Nice pub and great for drinks but shockingly slow food service even at low capacity, and the quality of the duck in particular left a lot to be desired. Was clearly cooked the days before and wasn't as good as the menu presented. Great for drinks but they need improvement on the food service and quality.
A. U.
Nice sprawling 'typical' British pub with a variety of seating. Also has a good range of Fuller beers although I didn't enjoy their Jack Frost winter beer. Should have stuck to my favourite, ESB
A. S.
Service was good, prices reasonable, great range of drinks and the decor inside is pleasant. A couple of us had fish and chips and the others had vegetarian gnocchi; the fish and chips was good but the gnocchi wasn't as popular as it was a bit heavy and not as full of taste.
j. w.
Work Christmas meal here. Lovely cosy pub. Nice food and atmostphere. Not far from public transport either which was a bonus
R. D.
Awesome beer garden out the back, gets busy on a Thursday night make sure you book a table or get out the back early!
C. T.
Absolutely stunning... Hear me out when i tell you guys this place has THE BEST BURGER IN THE UK!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND THE CHIPS WERE TO DIE FOR!! Please visit... The service is 10 stars too... I will definitely be back... Please keep up the quality!! I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!!
S. B.
Wonderful neighbourhood pub! The food is always delicious and the service is very good! Outdoor seating area is very spacious. Reserve a table for dinners as it can be quiet crowded!
J. H. T.
A cosy pub with a relaxed atmosphere and a spacious beer garden. They also have the best Pimm's in the area.
B. T.
Went here for a Sunday roast and was really lovely. The roast was huge and the pimms pitcher was definitely a good call!
A. D.
Nice pub. Didn't get to check out the garden bar as they had a Shakespeare recital when we visited. Good selection of tap beers. Good food, although I thought they were a bit stingy on the mushy peas.
L. “. R.
Great service, really nice pub. Food was sub par and very expensive. The burger secret sauce was basically mustard. Not very tasty and not very ‘secret’.
L. F.
Great atmospher however the Sunday roast was not good. The beef was soo chewy and 2 roast pototates and a 2 larger carrots. It was just very small and not very good for £18.50! Which is a loottt for a Roast I think of this size. Better off going to Tobeys Carvey.
R. Y.
The Sunday Roast is incredible with all the fixings. We've been around to several pubs for Sunday roast in the area and this has been our favorite. The service was fast and very friendly and they have a HUGE selection of whiskey which won my heart. Also, this place is huge, but it still filled up so make sure on Sunday you make a reservation. Really enjoyed this meal abd finished with a great bread pudding that was very well done.
E. A.
Really good pub with great service and a surprisingly large, comfortable garden!
4 stars though as the sunday roast wasn't amazing.
J. S.
Really nice, traditional British pub with a lot of room for bigger and smaller groups. The beer garden in the backyard is also really nice and spacious. Not too noisy nor crowded, so potentially a pub suitable for those who look for a calm but still social a nice evening.
A. M.
Very nice and quiet beer garden in the back. We just came for a couple drinks, we haven’t tried the food. Prices were reasonable. Our waiter was a bit cold with us, and quite rude with customers seating next to us. Other than that, nice experience. We will probably come back.
P. G.
Best pub in my area, lovely food and staff. The cask beer is kept really well. Great atmosphere.
COVID UPDATE: the staff are extremely well organised and friendly and I feel safe here. Lots of respect to Fran and Mike for keeping up the great atmosphere in these difficult times.
I. B.
I love this pub, great location with the park across the road which is especially good if you have kids with you, enormous garden out the back. Family friendly, dog friendly. Good food selection. Staff are really great, always friendly with great service.
T.
Setting in garden is great and service was good although maybe because I don't drink a lot 20 quid for two doubles vodka and jd seems a little excessive
V. L.
Lovely Christmas atmosphere and enthusiastic helpful staff. Always a great choice of beer and wine.
P. G.
Really nice experience, amazing beer garden to go and meet friends, beer offer is good and the food is also tasty, winter is warm and cozy
A. B.
I really like this place. It's tucked away between Hammersmith and Shepherd's Bush, somehow protected from the crowds that throng those areas. A more grown up clientele means a quieter evening, and they have a decent selection of beers available to work your way through. Friendly staff and a great beer garden - what more do you need?
G. T.
Nice pub with a great beer garden. Frequented by the record labels in close proximity.
The food is something you’d want to avoid though. All meals weren’t up to scratch. We got refunded on one of them but not the others.
It’s a shame as the pub and staff are friendly and this lets it down. If you want drinks then definitely recommended though.
M. W.
I really like this pub just off of Brook Green. The atmosphere is a little less casual than your average London pub, it has a wide range of drinks on offer and plenty of seating inside and in the beer garden. I would have given 5 stars but the bathrooms were a bit of a issue and the taps were broken.
J. J.
Nice place and outside area is great. Food is expensive and very small portions (would not order again)
N.
I was living in hotel not far from pub, and almost all days of my staing in London I got evening meal in this cosy place. As all pubs it have warm environment, service is good, food is teasty, tea is teasty too. This pub have really big space, and there is also a garden whitch I spotted only in final day of my vacation. Definitely reccomend to all tourists
K. G.
V comfy and cozy atmosphere - almost like a country pub! Lovely beer garden. Super service. Good food if a tad pricey! Recommended!
W. O.
Good pub. Nice team. Better now it's Fullers beer. Food looked good but I have haven't tried. Like the garden. Like the staff.
P. H.
A really nice Fullers Pub, mind you at £5.35 for a pint of ESB may well stop some people visiting the place
T. V.
Super local. Huge garden, great selection of beers, friendly staff. 👌
S. P.
Great outdoor seating. Fast service. Delicious Bloody Mary. Would recommend the Faggots with extra gravy. Delicious 😋
D. P.
A large, welcoming and friendly pub just a short 5 min walk from Hammersmith tube. There are so many places to sit that it can feel like a different pub every time you visit. The food is excellent and you will not be disappointed.
L. P.
We had a lovely time at the Queen's Head near Hammersmith - more than once it was the start of a great adventure for us. We stayed in the Hammersmith Novotel after flying in from Southern California, USA, and the staff told us the pub was within easy walking distance for us from the hotel. They were right, and we were greatly pleased with the great atmosphere and great service. Great for a pint, traditional pub fare and great atmosphere!
A. G.
Atmosphere good. Tables outside have enough space between each other. However food is awful.
And I can say only 2 members of staff were polite. Lady at reception and who baught our drinks to the table other than that, rest of staff were not welcoming personally I think they could work on their customer services skills. Smile doesn't hurt anyone nor speaking politely.
t. a.
A lovely looking pub with great indoor space and little nooks. Nicely laid out spacious beer garden and decent selection of beers and larger. The food however, is a different story. The roast was basically slop, overcooked and bland. The burger was one of the saddest things I've seen in a while, dry patty, doughy bread, tasteless.
It was more like Wetherspoons quality (but charging west london gastro prices). It's a real shame because this place ticks all the other boxes and the food used to be reliably decent. So if you do go here, avoid ordering actual meal, maybe you can get away with a side of chips but thats about it, if you want to avoid disappointment.
L. B.
Splendid food. Village feel.
R. K.
A saving grace. After a bad experience at another pub the day before, The Queens Head has completely restored our faith in hospitality. The service was outstanding, we were greeted by a lovely lady at the door, and the waiters took great care of us at the table. Everyone made us feel welcome, the menu choice was superb and the food tasted and was presented well. Looking forward to the next time we stop by.
A. G.
Very accomodating and polite staff, always enjoy.my time here, really good food and great drinks.
H. B.
This pub is at the heart of the community and I have attended it through the years on many occasions. The service has always been excellent and families have always been very welcome.
J.
We live locally and The Queen’s Head is our favorite pub in the area. Always very friendly service, great food and a cosy atmosphere.
J. A.
Really lovely pub with friendly staff and nice menu.
J. B.
Really beautiful beer garden and super friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food selection is not the biggest and best but really a nice pub to have drinks with friends.
P.
Very good vibe, good service and decent food and drinks
G. G.
Dramatically improved since my last visit. Good beers, friendly staff, very clean. However, having lived in Hammersmith for 22 years, I think this pub is RIDICULOUSLY, expensive even for London. £13 for 2 pints is far more than what I pay at other pubs in the area.
s. m.
Nice outdoor space to sit with friends and family. The fish and chips are the stand out items on the menu. Good beer selection.
S. M.
Thank you Francesca and all of your very hard working team. We had a wonderful lunch and fun filled afternoon in your gorgeous garden. Excellent food, great surroundings, perfect and humorous service and lovely clean toilets. We can't wait to come back. From Sunny, Tim and Olivia
G. D.
Overall, very good food, perfect for locals, but I would not travel to eat here.
The cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff gave a great first impression. We have been here a couple of times for drinks, due to its good selection of lagers on tap, but this was the first time for a meal. The food was very nice and reasonably priced, with a good choice on the menu. The chips were fantastic, although they held too much oil for me to be able to finish them. The portion sizes were generous, which meant I could not manage a dessert, and judging by the other food, I feel I missed out. I would recommend to any local
R. K.
Best pub in Brook Green...and I've loved here for 7 years. Fran and Mike are the tops and have done an incredible job with the pub. Food is great, beer is great, people are great.
M. S.
Great service and good food made for a very pleasant meal out with friends.
D. G.
A good size pub garden so great for a drink in the sun but also spacious inside with a good choice of drinks.
S. M.
Just a great atmosphere at this pub! Lovely outdoor space at the back with fairy lights and lots of greenery. Loads of seating. There's also good tasting food, slightly pricey but it is London after all. The staff were also very friendly. This pub is tucked away on a quiet road in Hammersmith and you really do feel like you can shut the world out.
d. c.
Local with character and charm with lots of private nooks and bays in which to lounge in comfort
J. S.
Very cool old style neighborhood pub in a great location. Good prices, pub games, nice atmosphere. Filthy bathrooms.
p.
Yeah I agree with other reviewers here. We went for a family birthday gathering. Beer very good but food is really middle of the road. The menu range is quite small and it’s nothing special either, despite a high mark up prices. Food aside, the setting is lovely, the garden a large and well set. Staff appeared friendly enough. All in all not a bad pub, but compared to other local Fullers pubs such as the Crown & Sceptre in W12 and The George IV in W4, it’s not one that I would go out my way to come
back to.
L. M. (.
We recently attended for drinks in the garden. Fantastic service from all of the staff. Food and drinks came literally within minutes of ordering. Highly recommend!!
M. A.
Fantastic pub fantastic location large beer garden gr8 food love that area
K. O.
I love the queen’s head, as this used to be my local in Hammersmith. The staff are always kind and nice here, and the beer is very good. The only complaint is that the quantity, not quality, of food is a bit off for the price. Possibly a post covid reality, but the Caesar salad was a bit sparse as far as a meal goes... I don’t mind paying for good food, but I don’t want to feel like I got ripped off. Maybe something to look at Fullers?
N. D.
Original pub wih a massive garden. Fullers beers and menu serving the usual pub favorites
T.
Good selection of bar snacks and nice setting by the river. Staff were friendly and accommodated all our requests.
P. K.
Can get full fairly quickly if busy, due to the layout of the place, been going here for over 5 years nearly 10,found it just by chance when I did not fancy the Laurel Arms . But they do make a great cup of coffee. Edited August 27th,see you soon.
H. M.
What a great local! Good food great staff. Glad to be back.
T. C.
Spacious beer garden with coverage from the sun if you want it.
Fish and chips were of a good standard. Generally a good/friendly service.
Very nice green space/playground out front if you want to let the children have a run.
Generally a good/friendly service
H. D.
I walk past here daily and frequent the place every few months. The staff are always friendly, the food tasty and the place has a really good vibe.
Endeavour to get here early if you want to secure a seat/table in the evening as this place always seems to be buzzing.
During the warmer months the rear garden is a favourite spot for a drink with friends.
After a spot of people watching? The terrace area at the front of the pub gives great views over Brook Green.
A great place for a drink if your in the area.
O. B.
Mix Feelings with this pub. The venue is really nice especially the beer garden. Food use to be really good, however last couple of times we went there didn't like it and stopped eating there since. Service is very slow sometimes but other than that, nice local pub next to the park and hammersmith station.
K. H.
Just about perfect! Stopped in for a coffee and something sweet before an appointment and found a great menu, friendly staff, and so many lovely nooks and crannies to sit that it was hard to choose. Just a beautiful local pub and one that you should put on your regular rotation, if you're lucky enough to live close by :)
P. D.
Fantastic traditional pub, front garden terrace overlooking Brooke Green, a large suntrap garden out back, large wooden look interior selling the traditional Fullers beers... he said smacking lips...
Would get 5 stars, but the food, whilst great, is a bit pricey.
g. c.
Beautiful pub and great hosts as always, food is very good (best land shoulder sunday roast I've ever had)
Beautiful inside and in the garden.
Love it!
E. T.
Had a great burger here. Came with skinny fries which I like. Some might be upset that they aren't proper chips. Friendly staff. Lots of cold beers on tap. Fast and efficient service.
There are lots of park goers around who trickle in and out , nice garden area out back and the music is good too.
M. S.
It wasn't busy at the time we arrived so the choice to eat inside or out was great. Being a warm evening we opted to eat outside. The food and customer service were great. The drinks were reasonably priced also. Will definitely visit again.
I. C.
First time I'd been here. Even with Social Distancing in place you can tell this is a top pub. Great Fullers beers, and more, v friendly staff. Great garden. Highly recommended
M. M.
Good surrounding areas - not too far from Hammersmith station/shopping area. The pub itself can be described as a local favourite.
J. W.
... great pub but my experience on this occasion was awkward. Staff need to be ralaxed and efficient in these difficult times of covid-19. Make it easy with the App or not. Get a grip and enjoy ☺️ Best, John
M. Á. G.
The space is great, but the staff are a bit grumpy. I understand it is not the end of the world to have a serious member of staff, but everyone looked a bit miserable!
A. A.
Huge beautiful garden in the back. Great setting indoors as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent choices of local crafts and the food looks really great, fish and chips were done well with great sauce on the side, mushy peas and vinegar. Done perfectly!
T. W.
Lovely Fuller's pub which looks small from the front but is far from small. This has a lovely garden which is spacious but gets very busy when the sun is out. It also has a large eating area away from the bar so you don't have lots of people walking past you as you eat and socialise.
J. L.
Great pub with a big garden in the back. Inside you'll find some cozy spots, but garden is the main attraction. Fairly good selection of beers and wines, while selection of bar snacks is pretty basic. Quick service and good prices.
M. D.
Lovely pub with a beautiful garden and good selection of beers. The foods looks inviting and it is nicely presented but I did not have the chance to try it. Staff is polite and friendly
R. R.
A consistently good experience in beautiful surroundings. Staff always friendly, good range of well-kept beers, and good (traditional) pub food. Good beer garden for the summer. The weekly quiz is very highly recommended, with interesting and innovative rounds.
S. K.
Awesome team, everyone is SO friendly and it really is a homely pub. The food is great, they have a superb garden with tonnes of space plus an area that suits diners too. A true gem.
R. M.
This is one of the nicest pups in the area. Very cosy, with friendly people working there. There is a fireplace that gives extra warmth during cold wintry evenings . There is a lovely garden at the back of the pub where you can enjoy sunny days. Great place to catch up with friends, for birthdays, xmas parties. Food is alright, prices are average. Be careful when ordering a soup though - you will get big soup plate with nearly nothing in it. The portion is pretentiously small but I have to admit the soup was very tasty.
M. V.
Great location and lovely beer garden at the rear. We all had the fish and chips which were delicious and the strawberry sorbet was so refreshing. Most of the staff were brilliant bar one woman who was miserable and should not have been working Easter Sunday if she couldnt pull herself together. Great experience otherwise, defo would love to come back and try a sunday roast
J. G.
I've been a handful of times and where I want to really enjoy it, I always leave feeling empty-handed. The outdoor space at the back us great in the summer and inside is pleasant enough too if not a little tardis-like. But for me the staff are the let-down and possibly poorly managed. We waited for a long time to get served and when we did it wasn't a welcoming atmosphere. On leaving there's no goodbye so next time if it doesn't improve I won't be leaving a tip.
N. D.
Nice pub in a very pleasant part of London
P. M. C.
I hadn't been here for over ten years, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was still a good place to drink and eat. Good selection of beers and good food too. Attentive staff. It was heaving by the time we left, so if popularity is anything to go by, its onto a winner. Recommended/
I. J.
Really nice pub with a really cool traditional feel, with good up keep and prices that reflects it. And the best thing is the garden, I means a real wow-factor and so nice in to sit in and have a drink with tonnes of space for kids to run around, but closes at 2130.
G. G.
Large garden in the back. Serves Fuller's London Pride, my favourite beer!
M. S. (.
Food was spot on - we had the fish and chips. Someone ate one of our group's portion of chips and there was some eye rolling from a staff member, but another staff member offered to get a replacement portion of chips out. Seems a bit daft not to given how little it costs to make a portion of chips. Plenty of drinks selection and good music. Very nice decor and well located from the bus stops.
C. D.
Staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Good atmosphere. Food was ok.
J. H.
Nice outside space, some great staff and some arsy supervisors, expensive 2pints and a house wine - 20 quid.
m. s.
Lovely little pub, the one and only time I've visited was during in COVID measures so taking that out the equation couldn't fault it, simple, easy and quick service even though we didn't have table booked ahead of time.
O. B.
Nice pub with a very good beergarden. Decent food and decent selection of beers. The big pitfall here is that the bar staff is sometimes not really able to handle big crowds, especially on a friday or a sunny day you will have to wait for your drink for a while.
J. C.
A really great local pub serving a good selection of beers and really tasty food. The pub is pretty big so dont be put off as soon as you walk in, there's plenty of seating closer to the back and the beer garden is HUGE! One of our favourite spots to reserve a table at in the summer - it does get busy though!
M. G.
very nice pub with an awesome beer garden and an excellent service. Worth to try it, for sure.
R. T.
Fantastic older style pub with beer garden to rear. Plus window seats & tables inside overlooking small park at front
Work nearby and great to break out of the office for lunch. On this occasion a coke to wake me up!
N. M.
It is a lovely pub, and I like the ambience. During summer you can enjoy the long days on their beer garden, which is quite big knowing it is situated in a residential area. Like any other pubs, they have good selection of beers, ciders etc..
J. P.
Decent pub with decent garden area. But good luck if you want to get a drink on an evening from the bar. Staff are slow and unnatentive. Took nearly 20 minutes to get a drink
M. H.
Great service here and I really recommend the fish and chips. There's a beautiful leafy garden out the back, if the weather is decent, head out there and grab a table. Definitely a popular place for work lunch.
You can't book the outside tables so get in early to find a spot.
N. C.
Loved our Christmas lunch here, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Very friendly atmosphere and definitely at the more elegant end of the pub spectrum. Thanks for a memorable day.
M. L.
Good service and atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Yummy pie of the day !!
M. P.
Really nice and cozy place. Staff very friendly
L. B.
One of the nicest pubs Ive been in the Hammersmith area. It has a massive beer garden and also a pretty big indoor space. It is perfect for large gatherings as well as an intimate drink. It was refurbished quite recently with a very classy and cosy style.
K. “. J.
Nice for a evening drink with freinds food is quite nice too!
D. S.
Nice pub, great atmosphere. They have a terrific pub quiz there on Monday. Doesn't take long to get served. I think the food it quite pricy for what it is though. But a good pub to drink in.
S. B.
Second visit and still amazing , Saturday was very busy but the team were attentive and polite , we had sausage and mash and Chorizo chicken , delicious! Nice to sit in the garden in the winter sun !
N. P.
Really cosy pub - the real London experience with large fires and small areas where you can sit with friends to chat. The beer garden is summer is also a nice touch but can get really busy so I would recommend going early to secure your spot!
R. C.
Great pub with lively and fun local atmosphere. Quite narrow in shape but good seating options. TV was setup for 6 nations/major sports events
S. S.
Great experience.
The food was very tasty and the service efficient.
Also, by having Neck oil on tap, our group stayed for an extra hour.
Great Sunday.
L. F.
Good service, friendly staff. Disappointed with the food on my visit, was looking forward to some good pub food, as the menu was limited I did expect better but unfortunately the burger was overdone and fish finger sandwich lacked much fish.
D. S.
Banging Sunday Roast! Friendly, welcoming service in this cosy pub.
P. G.
Fine English pub with good cask ales. The food is like often in gastro pubs pretentious on menus but it is really good. And it has a huge beer garden, really nice during summer.
I will totally recommend it if you are looking for a pub and pub food.
S. K.
Awesome Sunday roast. Specious place. Good service.
N. K.
Atmospheric pub with plenty of space, great for last minute bookings if larger groups. Food is good but not excellent. Big enclosed beer garden for summer!
R. S.
Make sure you eat out before you visit the Queen's head. The food in here is 1/5. Drinks are reasonable. Service is good but the main attraction is the spacious beautiful garden. Amazing location for summer drinks
M. H.
Wow!!! What a cozy place with an atmosphere I can only like to that of a cosy cabin with homely touches and so many cosy nooks to hide away in you are simply spoiled for choice. Beautifully sorted garden, like you would dream of having for your own. Imaginatively laid out and lit prettily. Tree and shrub borders give a lovely enclosed feel, mirroring the interior. Food menu is off the chart for a pub, I didn't eat but I strongly suggest you try them. I understand thetr was a mchielin Starr chef in their kitchen, so you can really open the taps on this brilliant menu.
Staff are plentiful, floor service and bar service with a dedicated garden station.
incredibly well manged and run. Operationally, somebody seriously knows their business at this establishment . Staff seem well rehearsed and well directed. Not the usual disorder and chaos that often comes with big teams. It is close to perfection here.
Try it, you will not be disappointed.
M. G.
Great pub really friendly landlord
G. D. A.
Nice environment. Health and Safety with quite big garden. Nice selection of beers and food is tasty but portions are not so big especially for bugers.
S. P.
Lovely pub in the heart of brook green. The beer garden is fantastic on a summers day. Well worth a visit. Good food menu and good selection of drinks too.
J. B.
Lovely helpful staff, good food, alright beer selection. Need to sort out heaters outside, don't work the best
E. J.
They are doing really well with the social distancing, staff very attentive given that it is table service only. I had a NZ sauvignon in the large garden and it was very nice.
N.
Beautiful pub in Hammersmith. Great size with an enormous garden, including a covered well lit area with small heaters.
A. H.
Great welcome and great spot for a covid era meal or beer with huge garden and loads of private nooks inside. Kids and the dog love it!
U. K.
Lovely place. A bit understaffed when we went (prob due to Covid) which had an impact on service and food so will give them the 4 instead of 5 stars.
S. B.
Travelling from Adelaide Australia, we headed in for afternoon drinks that ended with dinner. Our meals were fabulous, as was the service from our host Steve. Thanks to Steve for helping make our night such a memorable one! Fabulous food, fabulous service!!
G. K.
Always love coming here.
We came on a busy Saturday with a really young infant and the staff were amazing.
Great service, friendly and efficient, awesome food and a great Bloody Mary.
Y. G.
Nice and cozy bar. Food was just ok and expensive but then again, it's a bar.
M. L.
I was here for lunch and had one of their burgers with fries. It was all very good! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was also nice. The price was reasonable. I will surely come back in the future when I am around here in Hammersmith. Recommended.
J. F.
Friendly staff. Good variety of Beers. Beautiful Garden.
D. S.
The place is cavernous and big, and has a back garden, which can be really nice during summer. Unfortunately, after several meals at the pub, I have been fairly disappointed with their food - averageness on a plate. At the same time, while Hammersmith riverside and Brackenbury Village offer better options, Brook Green probably, sadly does not.
F.
Amazing site for Sunday lunch.
D.
Great pub and wonderful staff, especially Stephen he really looked after us as we were there to say goodbye to my wife Roseann taken by cancer.
L. R.
Ah yes, I remember this pub, realy nice place to have drinks after a long week, there is a nice flow to the pub, they also have a good whiskey selection, and put it in a fancy glass. The food was delicious.
S. M.
The food is not the best ever but it's ok. The pub is nice and there's a huge backyard.
E. A.
Been here a few times. Amazing in the summer but surprisingly quiet in the run up to Christmas. Wonderful food and decent drinks. Never had an issue with the staff neither, great professionals
J. P.
The atmosphere is great, the music isn't too loud and there is a very nice, spacious garden area. I usually dislike going to pubs but this is one of the exceptions.
T. C. S.
Absolutely love it here food is amazing so much to offer for kids too. Atmosphere is brilliant family friendly, staff and owners are such lovely welcoming people 100% recommend this place.
J. G.
My late mates favourite local. It does great food and we’re always greeted with a smile 😃
The beer garden is huge too, in case of a spot of sunshine 🌞❗️
P. K.
Very nice pub with lots of choices but no Guinness. Has a big backyard garden. Nice choices of food but expensive. Over all great if not on budget.
V. G.
lovely place, good food, well received children. welcoming staff. we will come back again. I changed my review as long as google was wrong to take the number of stars. I'm sorry
v. s.
Gorgeous pub with a huge outdoor area. Great for a pint although food menu is so-so. Great to go with children. Local favorite
S. T.
This is a nice pub in the middle of a rare leafy part of Hammersmith. A great sized beer garden but as soon as the sun is out it gets heaving. Cosy in the winter with rustic features and cosy atmosphere but service can be very slow and sloppy.
S. D.
Nice pub at Brook Green with good range of drink and food. Fantastic garden set up out the back of the pub. Friendly staff.
A. D.
Takes quite a while to get your drinks as the bar gets really crowded especially on a nice summer day and Thursdays and Fridays... lovely garden to enjoy your drinks.. food menu not too bad.
A. K.
Other than the pubs at Hammersmith bridge, this is the most "Hammersmithian" pub. With conserved Hammersmith and Kensington Olympia posters and memrobilia all over the place. Comfy seating, friendly yet a bit confusing staff at times. Their ales may not be the best, but good enough for a Friday afternoon or a Saturday night.
The garden is lovely.
Food is over priced.
M. J.
Good pub, great large garden. Food looked great.
E. s.
Really nice quiet beer garden even when it was busy everywhere else, can definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere away from the crowd. Staff were a little short with us.
H. G.
This pub is great, its really big, with little nooks and crannies for groups, has a good selection of alcohol and a great menu. Really comfortable and welcoming as well.
D. J.
Lovely country style pub in the middle of Hammersmith. Big garden or the back for warm summer nights and plenty of space inside, particularly if you want to eat
R. M.
Lovely pub that is full of character. food is pretty good and the beer garden is excellent. cant get pretty crowded on a friday night though!
J. P.
Our family wound up here twice during our stay in Hammersmith and found the food and staff excellent. We appreciated the decor as well. Great pub.
A. R.
Lovely place to have a drink. A 'proper' pub, that is great for all types, including families. Great beer garden too.
J. P.
Found this by accident, was so pleasant (some customer's dog greeted us at front door) I had to visit again during 2nd trip to London. Then I realized it has a beer garden. Very cool place.
B.
Great place for the summer! The garden is awesome, lots of space, shade and sun, whatever you prefer. Only downside is that they close the garden at 9.30pm.
A. L.
Loved the atmosphere! I like that they now use QR code to order drinks and food.
V. S.
Great pub! I've only given it 4 as on the we went there they had a play going on in the Beer garden :( and we couldn't sit out :(
B. V.
English pub with a good homely atmosphere. Good for big groups. Spacious and nice decor. Food is not particularly inspiring but not cheap as pub food goes.
J. H.
Great big garden for kids and you can bring your dog as well. Food is good, staff frendly. Only objection, garden could be cleaned sometimes.
J. S.
A good friendly, family pub but the food portions can sometimes be small. The three-times fried chips taste like one-time fried.
N. H.
The beer seemed ok but pricey. There was not much on the menu, for the price the food was disappointing. The very small mens toilets stank and this was a Wednesday lunchtime so no excuse really.
A. L. d. S.
Nice pub with back garden, beautiful setup and friendly staff. Nice beers but not much variety. Food is ok, but nothing special.
J. W.
Better than the average rating suggested. went for Sunday lunch. super nice food. good service and a cosy atmosphere. wouldn't normally rate many things as 5 star. but this place deserves better than the rating it has.
A. K.
beautiful pub garden, green and natural, nice and quiet, just not happy on the food side I'm afraid
S. R.
Great pub, mildly hipster menu but the prices are great too. Great selection of beers and other weird drinks. Great for first dates or mates after work and groups also.
N. B.
Very good for small to large gatherings, very friendly staff
C. B.
The place is ideal for those who want to try a traditional English pub
The staff is very welcoming and the service is quick and nice. The only downside is the temperature: we found it quite cold.
A. S.
Dropping by the Queen's Head was definitely the highlight on a recent trip to Hammersmith. This is definitely the type of pub you'd want as a local, and seems like it's been around for hundreds of years (despite the fact they were playing some Best of the 90s playlist - including Supergrass and Spice Girls). I imagine it gets busy but it's certainly big enough to accommodate the neighbourhood - it's basically one large room that goes on and on and on. I didn't get a proper look at the beer garden but apparently that's pretty big too.
K. H.
Beautiful beer garden, whole pub feels very safe and secure with the socially distanced set up 👍
P. H.
As a pub, can't fault it. Lovely location and quaint inside. As a restaurant, well only ate there once and it was OK but if they made this a gastropub, it would be rammed full of patrons - which it thankfully isn't.
J. C.
One of the great pubs. Effortless app ordering system and brilliant garden and staff
A. M.
Rustic cosy place, with fireplace and garden.
It’s pricey considering the amount of food, but I really enjoyed the chestnut gnocchi, was truly delicious, that’s why I am giving this pub 5 stars.
S. B.
Lovely beer garden and great choice of ales. I didn't eat but the standard looked good and the menu was nice.
r. b.
The Queens Head Brook Green is a very friendly pub Francesca and all the staff are very welcoming and really put themselves out for us.We had our dog Monty's birthday party in there today it was a lovely touch with the balloons party hat and doggie birthday cake thank you for making it so special see you tomorrow Francesca for Sunday lunch
A. D.
A typical British Pub, includes drinks and some assortment of meals...do try their burgers and the fries wayyyyyy better than the McDs and the staff there are absolute gems... Especially the Indian lady.
M. G.
Great outdoor space, good food and perfect organisation/customer service.
P. A.
Great cozy casual atmosphere. Perfect for lingering over a nice pint, but outstanding food as well. Loved this place!
I. C.
Food was ok but what was the mood killer was the staff being so rude telling us to leave. They have turned off all the lights, out it on and immediately a rude member of the staff tall, badly dress and a massive hair barged in to our table telling us to leave NOW!
F.
Great pub with cosy inside and spacious garden; good spread of food (if a bit pricey). Excellent pub quiz every Monday!
T. B.
Nice pub on brooke green W6 7BL very good food and beer also has a very big garden at the back. Very friendly staff with good atmosphere
D. O.
Decent garden atmosphere, usual good Fuller's fair.

Cozy club restaurant with a bar. The staff was very kind and friendly.
The food was good - we had variety of snacks and desserts.
A. C.
Very large garden out the back, with plenty of cover if it rains.
E.
One of the biggest and best beer gardens in Hammersmith. Been coming here on and off for years, consistently good.
H. R.
Great pub! Tons of outdoor space. Francesca was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
J. V.
Very nice pub, with an enjoyable garden/terrace, nice decoration inside and outside, outside heating for winter. Slightly too expensive, but overall a nice Pub
S. P.
Great pub in the heart of Brook Green, spectacular food and good selection of beers and wine. We were here for a Christening party.
C. R.
Very tasty pub grub and a good selection of quaffable wines, all at reasonable prices, as is often the case in Fuller's pubs.
B. M.
Really lovely pub with lovely staff and excellent food. Massive garden and a great selection of dogs to have a go on!
D. B.
Pre nooked. Pet and especially dog friendly and Great food.
Pity the food took so long in coming and they forgot the garnishing.
However the food did make up for the wait.
Will go again
A. P.
Decent place for drink after work so in the summer. Food is pretty average and varies in quality week by week apart from the chips which are consistently bad tastes like fried chip shaped mash potatoes
B. P.
Good range of ales and craft beers and good size garden with lots of seating - would not recommend for kids as it is more of a post work meet up place - has a busy noisy atmosphere
J. H.
Great garden and service is fantastic. They have new menu and food is very good. Kids and dogs friendly.
V. V.
Very nice pub, good service and good food.
It has a big beer garden.
Very family friendly
J. K.
A nice Fuller’s pub with a large dinning area and a decent menu .. Nicely situated between Hammersmith & Shepherds Bush .. With a good selection of real ale available .. 👍
A. G.
Excellent friendly attentive service and great food. Full hygiene and social distancing observed throughout my visit.
L. B.
Great place but I was a bit underwhelmed with my meal. I would still go back there because their meals are usually better.

Good pub with nice garden, food not always super though. Don't take the fish and chips.
F. W.
Best pub in the area ok that's not saying much but this is a decent place. Speed of bar service great some times and poor other days.
r. p.
Gets packed after work and can wait a while to be served. Couple of new staff struggled to pour a proper Guinness but the governor set then straight.
J. T.
Big beer garden. A rustic feel to the pub. Would go back. I never knew this place until a friend took me there.
a. f.
I been there for the Christmas work's lunch!
Nice place, interesting beers.... But, sorry.... Your delicious desserts are too small 😅

R. M.
Lot of young women eat and drink here.
W. J.
Nice beer garden but only problem is when busy it takes a while to be served because the bar is very small
A. S.
Lovely looking old pub in a great setting on the green. Food a bit overpriced, and no music but worth it for a quick pint
A. G.
Nice location and with a big beautiful garden for sunny days.
Food is more than good but I have to admit that certain dishes are quite pricey.
M. L.
Very large pub in a nice neighbourhood. Great outdoor seating area, and a respectable selection of beers.
