Reviews of The Ram Inn

A real gem in Wandsworth, dwarfed by the brewery behind and other Young’s pubs in the area. Food is really tasty and portions are generous. Home-brewed beer is tasty and quite unique (the porter is superb), and you can see the brew room from the pub which is fun. Frozen margaritas from the Ram are STRONG and refreshing - well worth the relatively low price. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The upstairs room is weird and wonderful - complete with an indoor taco truck, oil drum tables, arcade games, beach bar and floor shuffle board - and has a good vibe. The only drawback is this pub is often quite quiet and the atmosphere can feel isolated, but this could also be a pro because fewer people means less shouting to converse with friends. Wish I could come here more often - too bad it’s frowned upon to drink heavily every day :D

I love this pub for several reasons.
Firstly, the service is always first class: welcoming, friendly and polite.
Secondly, there's always a lovely chilled out atmosphere. It's a proper old fashioned pub with a lovely modern vibe.
Finally, the food is consistently great. We've now had several meals here. Last night we had the steak and a pint deal: it was absolutely spot on.
We're so pleased you're up and running again and I'm already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you 😊😍

The Ram Inn is Wandsworth’s best kept secret. It’s a local pub with a rich history, and you are guaranteed peace and quiet due to its ‘only adults’ policy.
Furthermore it has a fine list of local craft beers and wines with lots of choice, even brewing on site - an added feature worth visiting to see.
Their Sunday menu is definitely worth booking a table for, as the roast dinners are divine!
The staff are lovely and super friendly, and the pub has a truly relaxed vibe.
I highly recommend it.

My experience of The Ram Inn.
Firstly I would like to start off by saying the service is great, the staff behind the bar make you feel at home, which is what is needed in a south West London Public House. On my visit I ordered one pint of Red Stripe and a Baked Camembert. The Red Stripe tasted clean and crisp as it should and was served on time by the lovely bar staff.
My food however was not the same experience. To be fair to the establishment they were extremely busy on food when I ordered, this was visible by the amount of food being sent down in the food lift (I was sat next to it at the bar). However the first camembert I ordered was delivered to myself almost completely raw, as if the top had been grilled but the remainder was raw and solid. I informed the bar staff of the issue and they immediately had a replacement made for me. The replacement did take some time but so it should, unless you were planning on re-heating the grilled one I had sent back. The finished product arrived and to be fair the camembert was roasted through and you could taste the garlic and rosemary. However I think the dish would have been lifted to completion with the addition of honey. Honey, rosemary and garlic as a trio really complement a baked Camembert and when you are left without one of the three I feel like you have an incomplete dish.
Overall a good experience the service is great but there is some work to be done with the chefs/menu writers in this establishment.

Haven’t been out since the ease of lockdown but I wanted to treat myself and I went to the Ram Inn a few nights ago.
What can I say? A REAL TREAT.
It was my first time here and I was positively impressed with my experience from beginning to end.
The staff was welcoming and efficient.
I suggest you try their beer (brew in-house!!) and a serious note about the food.
Delicious, perfectly cooked and served in very generous portions.I had a burger with lamb and I promise you, it’s the most delicious tender lamb I have tried in my life. And I’m Italian!
Can’t wait for everything to get back to normal as I will visit it very often

100% my favourite pub in Wandsworth.
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but has a modern old-man pub thing inside. Which could be why it never seems super busy.
The food is really great and good value. They have really great beer, brewed on site. Pie and a pint on a Wednesday for £10 is hands down the best local deal I've come across.
They are super responsive on email for bookings. And they're dog friendly!
The only thing that would make it better would be outdoor space.

This is a really stunning venue, it's so fascinating to peer into the Sly Beast Brewery from your seats, and we can't wait for Jean Pierre the taco truck to be up and running again!
Incredible sharing plates and beer selection, really made for a wonderful team meeting. The atmosphere and hosts at the Ram are brilliant!

My local. I really like it here. Good feel, great and friendly service, and the food is excellent. Weird that the owner has an ostentatious quality which means he feels obliged to park his motorbike in the pub, but hey ho.

Nice historic pub that has a functioning brewery within it. Good range of beers on tap and the Sunday roast is one of the best in Wandsworth. Bar staff is friendly too! No kids allowed, which is fantastic.

Delightful beer, I have yet to try the food, but there are some interesting items on the menu.
