An excellent pub and hidden gem in the East Greenwich area. Great choice of ale, ciders and the staff are always super friendly. The atmosphere is great and I've had great conversations whenever I visit with people there.

Ever changing fantastic choice of real ale, real cider and gin. A very small venue, very well designed. Quiet so good for conversation. Very helpful and friendly staff. The pub has a cribbage team that plays in the local league home and away on Mondays. My dog is made very welcome and always reminds the bar staff where they keep the dog treats when we arrive.

A good place to discover new beers with an ever changing beer menu and friendly staff

The venue is small but very nice. Rustic decor. The staff were pleasant.
The beer tastes great. The prices are reasonable.
It's only 4 stars because Greenwich is a nightmare to park. This must have an adverse impact on so many local businesses.

As a regular to the River Ale House, this is my favourite pub in SE London. The beer is excellent, fellow customers are always welcoming which bodes well for interesting conversations

Lovely atmosphere, has board games too and if you don't drink like me then French press coffee or softdrinks are a good alternative

Love this place! This is the first micro pub I've been to and I absolutely love it! Nice and cosy. Encourages talking to each other. Beers are excellent, well-chosen and kept, and *very* reasonably priced. Decent cider too. My new favourite pub in Greenwich, along with The Pelton Arms, and closely followed by The Crown.

Brilliant pub, friendly staff and locals, lovely interior and vibe, excellent beers. Another gem in the Greenwich/Blackheath area.
