Reviews of The Roebuck
C. G.
Great pub in hampstead with a very cosy feel and welcome service. Definitely recommend sitting by the fireplace for a nice pint in the winter.
Staff were excellent and very relaxed, ordering via the app or by the bar was very easy and quick.
Good taps on offer, definitely try something different.
Excellent experience, thank you.
If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

I had not been in this Pub since the late 1970s.
Today as we were in the area we decided to have lunch in The Robuck as you would expect it had totally charged and modernised. Back in the 70s it was always frequented by TV stars and minor celebs.
We found the food to be excellent good value and totally enjoyed our lunch. The staff were friendly and very efficient.
5 stars all the way.
M. K.
Cosy pub and excellent service. Shout out to the manager, the Christmas decorations look fabulous darling 😊
K. M.
Friendly service, good food and drink choice. Dog friendly and lovely fire, would definitely visit again. Food took quite a while was the only minor but would definitely visit again.
R. D.
Covered and heated outdoor dining area, oddly surrounded by quite tall buildings.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, good quality food, wide selection of drinks. Ordering only by app, but arrived quickly.
It slowly dawned on us that the night time birdsong we were hearing was actually nightingales.
H. S.
This pub has a cosy feel to the inside with lots if comfortable seating and decent beer selection. It has a nice secluded beer garden that is somewhat covered for the rain.
The staff are incredibly friendly and there is a decent atmosphere on a Friday/Saturday evening. The food is also quite good, though I did not eat on this occasion.
It's not one full of 20 year olds
M. M.
I must say thank you so much for the food for he service for nice environment here.
We love the roast chicken and Beef I wish the gravy was a bit more but we enjoyed the food.
The staff were so so nice, that you can’t expect more.
Love it thank you
C. C.
Really nice cosy place, just been for a Sunday roast with a friend. The staff are attentive and nice and the roast was delicious! Thank you :)
A. J.
The food has slipped a lot in quality... we had a Sunday roast which was sub-par and extortionate at £20!
Great service, and lovely space though. Stick to the drinks and it should be okay.
Management need to sort out the toilets - broken seats and generally always very dirty.
D. K.
Incredible Thanksgiving spread! Better than your average Sunday roast as well. Best we have had in London and not sure we could have cooked it better ourselves, it tasted home made. Great wait staff as well, Natalia was very accommodating. We will certainly be back!
O. T.
Expensive but to be expected in this part of ldn. Had 4 adults meals and 4 kids in our party. Out of 8 meals 7 were lovely but the steak bavette was really poor. Would try again when In area. Great beer garden
D. L.
Nice pub in a good location, halfway between Hampstead underground & overground. Has an area outside for seating which is sizeable and the place was clean and looked after. Has Camden larger and Beavertown on tap, which is nice as they're both relatively local brews.
D. T.
What do you say about The Roebuck? Excellent, more of an eatery than a pub, but welcoming to both drinkers and diners. Lovely staff who look after you and care about your experience. I recommend a visit.
C. W.
Took a party at short notice when a nearby club suddenly decided it was short of staff. Good food and drink and pleasant service. It will be first choice next time.
S.
Great atmosphere. Friendly efficient staff. Tasty food and drinks.
b. h.
Amazing customer service with a bloody amazing Sunday roast. Love that this place is dog friendly too 🥰
A. M.
Organised a surprise 40th for my other half on Saturday night. From original telephone call to the event, the service was fantastic. Manager was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
The Fawn bar downstairs is the perfect setting with good furnishings and decor. The food was incredible and piping hot.
All the guests commented how great the night was and how perfect the venue was. Thanks Roebuck team!
P. C.
Was a barman here 40+ years ago, so a trip down memory lane. Bar area almost unchanged apart a coat of paint, and new extension into the garden. On a Friday night would have been packed in my day….. Very nice freshly prepared pub food, liked the app ordering although a bit fiddly. Good friendly service. Only observation felt pricy - for a meal for two, couple of drinks before and a bottle of wine c.£110 🤷♂️
M. G.
Very nice pub didn't have any food but the menu looks good
P. F.
A top experience - staff well prepared and the young’s app makes ordering easy. Would go again
A. T.
Place was lovely with heaters and a covering and service was good with lovely food and wine list also. The app was a bit more tricky to use when not used to it but easy enough once we got the hang of it. Good vegetarian options too which was nice.
s. m.
Great food, dog friendly, staff is very good.
Thanks for the good time.
m. a.
This is a classic local English pub. It has good local lagers on tap like Camden. It has some good real ales. The food is excellent with a wide range of dishes -- from classic Sunday roasts to cauliflower salads. It's not going to blow you away but it's good pub food. The best part is the good sized garden where they play sporting events.
S. V.
The best pub in London! We have so many amazing memories attached to this place in years since we've first visited the pub - from getting engaged to idea of traveling the world! An absolute gem of a place!
M. D.
One of my favourites ... lovely bar staff great selection of beer and spirits... Cheers. 😁
M.
Very nice indoor dining area. Not a lot of cocktail options. Food and drinks are nice, but on the expensive side. They have heating lamps outside, so you stay warm.
T. P.
Surprisingly, not the widest of drink or food options. Toppy prices, with Kronenbourg and Peroni at a whopping £6.10. the Young's app is clunky and service was slow. Not the staff's fault, just not enough of them. We were (politely) reminded to leave our table by 8pm despite there being other tables free. Not great as service had been so slow. Doubt we'll revisit until after lockdown.
V. K.
Myself and three other good friends booked meal and drinks at Roebuck last Friday 4th December and was in the garden area to start with no parasol heaters on our end. However staff were accommodating and found us lovely seating area with parasol heating. Thanks for keeping us warm and we all enjoyed the evening with beers and meal ... have to say food and hospitality provided by staff and management was excellent and they took orders from us . Will visit again and much appreciated for bringing a smile to our face during pandemic times .

We tried our luck to get a table for drinks, and luckily we got one. It's very different now to come in a pub, with all the signing in and all the new rules.. BUT, me and my wife had a fantastic time. We ended up ordering food too. The steak & the burger as mains and started with a sausage board. Very good pub food! Compliments to your chef. This pub is located in the middle of Belsize Park and Hampstead but quite hard to find. Worth it though. Thanks to Danny and the team for the top service
J. G.
Gastronomic pub, good welcoming and atmosphere, I like it!

Great service and food - really nice cosy pub
A. B.
Good food, nice service, spacious inside!
E. S.
A lovely setting here covered outdoor area and great service ! Food nice pub grub .
S. S.
Great pub, Even better food. Lovely outside garden to enjoy the sun and escape the busy streets of Hampstead. Definitely worth a visit.
B. B.
Best roast I've had in London. Perfect cosy pub
H. J.
Nice atmosphere, but the service time was very long considering how busy it was.
L. T.
Gorgeous pub a minute walk from Hampstead Heath. Had a Guinness burger - one of the best burgers I've tried in London. Great selection of wines and beers. Nice secret garden at the back of the pub. Great service. Recommend 100%, specially for burger lovers
M.
Come here for good grub, cosy vibes and bonus points for vegan options. Perfect after a stroll on the heath.
A. M.
Lovely pub, great staff, good beer, and the girl from Estonia who works there is fantastic
A. W.
What a wonderful place! They have a vegan roast and it is exquisite. I don't usually even like Yorkshire puddings, but theirs are fantastic - so light and crispy. Plus the staff are friendly, even when the place is packed out on a Sunday afternoon, and they have a decent selection of beers. Well worth a visit.
S. A.
Good to find a quiet place for a meeting with excellent service and good breakfast
T. J.
Excellent place to be just after conference in Royal Free Hospital.
It is just across the street and have all necessary things to enjoy in traditional English pub.
The place is nice and clean, but still have old character.
I liked the choice of drinks (especially beers) they offer here.
The car park is a small problem in Hampstead, but on the other side easy public transport available.
E.
Fabulous warm and inviting. Food and service was great
D. P.
Lovely gender reveal party! They hosted us with our large dog. Great food and drinks!
M. G.
It's a great place with great food and drinks. The staff members are lovely and it's simply the best place to watch the EURO in the Hampstead area!

I went on Saturday around 13:00pm for a birthday meal. There was a downpour of rain we had pre booked our table.
I was disappointed at the start because we were standing in the pouring rain with only one man in front of us (he was getting soaked too!)... While the lady who is supposed to greet us and show us to our table was just giving us a Covid briefing while she stood inside (yes shouting across). Mmm ok but there was space to stand inside for all of us while maintaining distance. She is such a jobs worth waste of time. Sorry she needs to go on a course! I dine in many places first impressions count!
However the meal+drinks and staff serving our table were friendly and worth their weight in gold. Based on food absolutely delicious 😋
K. W.
Cosy seating and atmosphere. Went for lunch after a hospital appointment as it's right across the road from the Royal Free. I had goat cheese baguette with chips and salad. My husband had a fancy fish finger baguette. Both very tasty and generous portions. Didnt have alcohol but a good selection of hot drinks.
A. A.
Great pub with great service from a fantastic team. Especially Ehtel who is brilliant
M. S.
A favourite local pub that is directly opposite Royal Free Hospital. It's large and has seating in a variety of spots throughout. There is an enclosed outdoor area at the back with seating. The food is good and there are really nice bar snacks too. There is a Sunday roast selection. Not too many pubs like this left in the area. It's well run and friendly and can get very busy at times. Particularly at the weekend. On other occasions it can be quite quiet. A pub for all seasons.
J. M.
Great Sunday roast!! Took some friends down for their first visit. Totally impressed as I was too!! A definite return to this pub also like that they dog friendly. Thanks for a great Sunday meal!! 👍🏾👍🏾
J. H.
Lovely location and pretty restaurant, but the food really let it down. Group of us had several issues including stone cold and under-cooked sides - as well as meat being so tough they couldn't cut it, so had to send it back for something else. However the staff were gracious and the hostess/manager dealt with it wonderfully, so the 3 stars are just for the staff on this occasion!
L. F.
Received lovely lovely service from CC and NS which was the perfect complement to the atmosphere in the garden patio. We were given the best table and had a wonderful evening as a family. Our daughters especially appreciated the free popcorn! Thank you
A. L.
Nice place right in front of the Royal Free Hospital. The beer garden is lovely, service was quick and friendly
K. J.
It was my second time in the garden and it went well. It took over 15min to someone to come to take our order but nothing than bad.
The pub is dog friendly (but all dog must be keep out of the benches
J. C.
I live nearby and this is my preferred pub for a pint. Despite being only a minute's walk up Pond Street it's much quieter than the nearby (and somewhat overrated) Garden Gate even in the middle of summer, and has a very nice walled garden.
Staff are very friendly and efficient, drinks and food menu are standard for a Young's pub, so you know what you're getting, but that's not bad thing.
R. S.
Great atmosphere. The soup was lovely but the nut roast was a bit disappointing as the nut roast itself was quite small and seemed pre-made / frozen. The apple crumble and brownie also were disappointing as they seemed to have been bought from elsewhere and were cold.
R. P.
Very nice space but a little too expensive.
W. M.
The Beer garden is a lovely place to relax. Good food and drink, we love the plant based burger and roebuck burger! Will definitely be back with my boyfriend and friends.
S. S.
The restaurant was very clean, the staff was beyond amazing and the food was delicious! You could not ask for a better place to eat. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay and the way we wanted it. A really good atmosphere. Definitely would go back! and if it gets too messy royal free hospital is next door :P wooohayyyy!!
G. P.
This is where we come for drinks, every time me and the lads catch up. Growing up in Hampstead, it's driving back to memory lane. I always come back for the burger. the quality, atmosphere and staff is great! i recommend this place, near the heath too when you want to take your dog for a walk and pop-in for a pint
T. S.
It was quiet at 11.50am on a Saturday, so good to get out of the cold after a walk on the Heath. Drinks and food were fine, good even (my shepherd's pie was hearty and enjoyable), although they were a bit disorganised about whether the bavette was available, then it arrived as a steak sandwich, not the main meal. But I'll certainly return, I'm sure.
T. G.
After a long day at Royal Free hospital, I was desperate for a good meal.
Was 8pm and I was promptly sat down, drink order taken and not long after my meal.
Sunday Roast Pork was tasty and a generous sizing.
N. T.
Dropped in for lunch in the garden. Great staff, thanks Anna. Wonderful food. Be hungry, the chef is generous with the portions. Expect a wait as it's cooked fresh. Dog friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
T. P.
Food was ok. Great place to visit with friends. Lots of different tables and people eating and having fun.
We visited as a couple and were seated on a small table right next to the door leading to the terrace. There was a constant traffic in and out and I was simply freezing over. My wife had a cardigan so offered/forcez to change places after watching me ”suffer” for half an hour :D
There were two empty tables with ”reserved” signs next to us for the whole duration we were in the establishment. Kinda wish we were offered one of those. Then again I am sure we would have gotten a better table if we had the nerve to ask/complain. So do your self a favor and don’t accept the small table next to the terrace door :)
J. E.
Supremely cozy. Great staff, great menu and food, and solid range of drinks and draft. The interior is very warm and welcoming, and has an underground function room for rental or for when it gets busy. There is a nice backyard beer garden as well, with heat lamps and a TV. I really enjoy this place and the coziness that it exudes. It is a Young's pub, take that as you may, but it is definitely one of the best ones around (regardless), and the Young's app is handy, too, since I live nearby. This is my favorite pub in the area: relaxed with great food and a cool demeanor. What more could you want?
R. H.
Highly recommend this warm and friendly pub! Food is great and that the service is amazing, especially from the two Filipino waiters, the cocktails were superb and would definitely come back for more. Thanks, Roebuck team, you guys are amazing!!! ❤️
T. B.
Small pub great to pop into for an evening. Dog friendly. Good food. the only negative was that the tables were not super clean when visiting, but the staff was friendly and helpful.
V. A.
One of the best pubs i've been to in London. Food is delicious, staff are really helpful & their recommendations you would just want to try all! The ambience is superb, it is a cosy and elegant, warm pub. I'll be a regular now with the family!
K. G.
Lovely garden. The food was ok. And I think that is fair. The nut roast arrived with congealed mushroom gravy on top and the nut roast consisted only of a quinoa patty. Wasn't really what I'd call a roast. My husband's sausage and mash was ok. Nothing to write home about. However the lovely garden made it all worthwhile, top place to go for a drink. We will come back for sure and hopefully the food will be better next time.
D. E.
We went for Sunday roast and wine, the food was really nice. Bad service tho, then we sat there for wine for an hour or so, they never came to clear plates and empty glasses. It wasn't busy at all, so there are no excuses.
I. S.
came here to have cocktails in the garden, passionfruit martini was especially nice. Lovely food, we ordered the BBQ platter which was so filling! Definitely coming back and will book again with friends and family
B. B.
Popped in for lunch with some friends....opted for the burger. Regretted my decision as soon as my food arrived. £15 for what I can describe as a kids portion. Taste wasnt to bad though.
N. S.
best place around Hampstead! with a lovely team, how can you not love them? food is amazing, shoutout to the chef Luiz, his truffle pasta is amazing and definitely worth the penny! always best to book ahead as they are quite busy on early evenings
D. G.
Great atmosphere, good food. Always bring my friends here, staff are attentive! We like sitting by the dining area, to have hearty meals and pudding after! Try the chocolate pudding with ruby port!
A. M.
Hi prices but exceptionally comfortable seating mean this is a great place to have a good conversation without excessive crowding.
P. L.
service is splendid and the pub grub was tasty! we had fish and chips, burger and a few bar snacks. all was perfect and staff were friendly and very accomodating. might celebrate my birthday here! im new in london and this was a good place to visit first! glad i bumped into this gastro pub!
C. D.
Nice chilled beer garden and cosy (recent refurb) on the inside too. Vegan options on the food menu (albeit a bit pricey) Its a Youngs pub so the beer selection may or may not be to your liking. Personally am not a huge fan of the cask options so i tend to stick to the keg offerings
J. W.
Decent pub. Found us a table at 9pm despite curfew, felt safe and spacious and sold Neck Oil. Which is exactly what I wanted.
H. W.
Very nice old fashioned pub and restaurant. Think leather sofas and open fire. Food is typical gastropub affair, decent beers. Lovely place to sit, ceilings are double hight and feels very bright and open!
S. M.
This is a hiddem gem in Hampstead Heath and worth a visit. Me and my family regular visit especially on Sunday as the roasts are very tasty. The staff and management are always welcoming and remember you even what drinks we had last time which was Meantime Lager. We love the garden as its heated being a smoker its perfect. My advice go for yourself you won't be disappointed lovely atmosphere just a tip if you like blazing fires or Sunday roasts advisable to book!!
S. F.
Great pub spoiled by the service of one tall blonde guy who was rude and aloof - otherwise it's a 5 star place. Such a shame as all the other staff are super nice and friendly, food is excellent and drinks selection is really good.
I. A. S.
I've been in many pubs around the area but this by far was the BEST! The people were incredible and the service was exquisite! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you guys!
J. N.
Great pork roast. Huge portion and good quality. Nice pub with a cosy atmosphere, definetely recommend!
G. C.
Our favourite pub in the area - lots of good indoor seating and heated outdoor area.
Very dog friendly! And good selection of drinks.
L. L.
Went here for a quiet drink/meal . Place had nearly every table marked up as reserved for world cup semi final (Belgium France). Reality was loads of people came in and left because of this. When game started half the tsbles empty!!! Our meal was ok and service ok. Poor management! Prices a wee bit above average but quality ok.
L. H.
Honestly the best vegan roast I've ever had, so so delicious. We were delighted to be seated by the cosy fire, service was excellent, and perfect location near the Heath.
S. L.
Great pub serving beautiful meals and serving a great pint of ale which you can enjoy in cosy leather high back chairs. Will definitely return and recommend.
P. M.
I have been to the Roebuck quite a few times as the roast dinners are superb, but today I was a little disappointed, not only had the prices increased over £17.00 for roast lamb, but when I asked for a little extra gravy as some of my meal was dry, I was told I had to pay extra for it. This is the first pub I have ever been asked to pay for gravy. When I asked the waiter how much it was he didnt know. Roebuck surely you cannot expect people to pay for extra gravy when they have spent £20 for a meal & a lemonade?
S.
Vegan Sunday roast was yummy 👌
A. R.
Wouldn't count myself as a regular but have been here sporadically over past two years (had a refurb in that time), when I'm visiting Hampstead. This place is a top notch pub, I would agree it is more balanced towards being an eaterie than your traditional "boozer", and there's a nice feel and look about the place which is in keeping with the area I guess. It can get busy, I popped in on the off chance to grab a beer and read my book but it was really busy. However, the nice guy serving said I was more than welcome to take a stool at the bar or go downstairs. I opted for downstairs bar which again is nicely done, more of an initmate setting. I'll definitely visit again when im in the neighbourhood
J. W.
Good food, friendly staff. Clientele a bit bougie but that's expected in Hampstead. Wine's a bit pricey but good. Onion rings are divine!
A. W.
Really nice food, great service, good selection of Spirtz, definitely will back, lovely and cosy
j. g.
had brunch here and the sandwiches were lovely. i had the roebuck club and my son had the ham & cheese sandwich. Checked their sunday menu. will definitely come back with the family!
J. C.
Always a pleasure visiting the Roebuck. A quality pub with a great team, who work super hard to make it seamlessly work around the temporary covid restrictions. thanks as always.
P. J.
Friendly staff but fairly expensive moderate food. Small portions.
B. G.
Very good pub with lots of comfy seating. You have to get here early to get a good one though. Drinks are ok.
T. B. B. M.
We love this place for drinks, staff are always accommodating and friendly, also, it's a dog friendly place! It's so hard to find a nice spot nowadays where we can bring our dog.
R. A.
A lovely pub with absolutely amazing service from the staff members! I have been here on several occasions and it never fails to disappoint.
J. A.
Good solid pub, good outside space. Wouldn't go for food but perfect for a few drinks. Not as expensive as some pubs in the area.
D. L.
Went here after my clinic appointment at Royal Free. The food and drinks are exactly what I needed. I look forward to coming here during my treatment programme and know I will feel comfortable no matter how I look or feel.
D. G.
I booked a Sunday roast, we enjoyed the pork belly, fish & chips, Roebuck burger and sandwiches, had a lovely time! Thanks roebuck!
C. B.
Nice pub, make sure you have the app to order.
I. C.
Really lovely interior, takes you back. Staff are great and their menu is varied and inexpensive. Food was excellent.
A. H.
Really great burger. Staff are friendly and helpful. Downstairs bar is perfect for work events and they have Camden Town on tap.
R. B.
Here a bit too often, drinks are a little costly as you'd expect in London, but nice atmosphere inside and out. Decent selection of beers and wines, food is nice too
R. L.
Lovely pub, shepherds pie you should try and fish pie. you can never go wrong! It's a place with great cosy atmosphere, service is super!
A. Q.
Oh my god the food is amazing I definitely recommend the fish and chips
m. a.
Was waiting for my wife while she was in hospital. Both ladies were incredibly nice and hospitable. Thank you for looking after me. Service was 10/10
S. M.
Amazing food, amazing beers and amazing staff! Really dog friendly as well, my dog always gets water and buscuits. Highly reccommend this unique lovely pub
J. N.
Great Sunday Lunch with friends here. Really nice atmosphere and good selection of beers and drinks .
M. T.
Having to move in from the garden at 9pm on a Saturday - (9pm .. not 9.45pm as they claim) on a hot summer evening is rather annoying. All aspects lovely but perhaps best for the winter months. . .
M. G.
Great atmosphere, delish food and staff are super helpful. They were able to accommodate around 10 of us with short notice. Highly recommend xxx
J. T.
Had an amazing Sunday roast there! Staff were so welcoming, friendly and would go above and beyond! Made my visit to Hampstead Heath so
so lovely! Thank you!
m. w.
Cosy, quaint pub. Dog-friendly. Lots of board games. Upstairs and downstairs, and outside seating. Can get very busy with reservations on special occasion/event days. Friendly staff.
R. A. H.
Very nice outdoor area at the back of the pub. Staff are a bit clueless but the beer selection is large and kept at a Good temp. Waiting to try the food which available after 5pm.
K. G.
The Roebuck has been put together very nicely, with lovely little knick knacks on the walls, a piano in the corner and a cosy walled garden out the back. However, I ordered a halloumi burger which cost £7.95 - it didn't come with chips or any kind of interesting sauce - just a bun with a slice of lettuce and a chunk of halloumi cheese. Maybe I've been spoiled by all the great burger bars in London but it just seemed a bit 'meh'. On the plus side though, they stock Meantime beer which is excellent.
J. D.
Family get together last night , great food ...bloody great pies , excellent vegan selection for my woman ( she had the bean special and vegan Wellington plus to finish with a vegan brownie and Judes ice cream ...so she was over the moon ) , spicy chicken wings for starters ...boom ....love pint of Youngs and a heady Merlot for the girls ....service was excellent and the ambience was perfect traditional pub .
M. C.
Very decent food, plenty of seats downstairs and in the beer garden. Great choice of ale. Would revisit.
J. H. T. S. B. B.
A really lovely lunch. It took a while but it was a busy Sunday, so all forgiven, when it turned up. Delicious.
E. O.
Really great gastropub, right across from the Royal Free. Food is very tasty and served piping hot. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely ambiance.
S.
The app that you have to download to order was not up to date.
The staff was not really knowledgeable on the food menu.
The vegan roast is not vegan but vegetarian as it contain cheese!
K. L.
Had food and drinks in the garden but the views are not great as surrounded by tall buildings
J. G.
Definitely a hidden gem. The place is amazing. Food wise all their selections were top notch! Will definitely recommend this restaurant
A. N.
Amazing place and amazing staff !!! I strongly recommend it
M. B.
Lovely pub, the garden is really beautiful, even when it's a bit chilly. Food was great too, perfect for Sundays.
N. K.
best place to chill out on a Friday night. My girlfriends and I had the best time especially with the wide variety of drinks and amazing service - not to mention GREAT food!!!!!
V. V.
Very nice food and a decent wine list. The staff are really friendly and there is a great garden out the back.
J. B.
Stingy gravy portion size and service not attentive enough. Not flexible with sharer for lamb either. Disappointing, used to be better
R. E.
Friendly staff, good beer as in all Young's pubs. Nice interior decor and pleasant pub garden.
S. W.
Not sure why this place isn't busier - everywhere I tried to book for 1pm Sunday lunch on a Friday was full except here - I wasn't expecting much - but was very pleasantly surprised - great serice - Ozzie James - and great food I had a fantastic roast lamb, set in a quiet but nosey garden and yes the sun was out that helped!!

Ok. Some good staff such as Danielle.
Burgers can be hit and miss (taste burned) especially for price. Overall good.

Love the beer garden, cosy and non standard. Only smokers should be banned into one corner and the tables could be a little cleaner.

Lovely gastro pub near Hampstead Heath.
The staff tried hard (successfully) to find us a table despite our visit being on a busy weekend with many tables already reserved.
Only flat note : the portions of chips (£4) are tiny, and left the children asking for seconds. Not the best value for money...
N. J. H.

C. S.
Great place
R. S.
The food was really nice.. can taste the difference.. is fresh.. homemade.. is really tasty.. the environment is great..
Only reason why two stars are missing.. is the waiting time!!!!! Only 1 table waiting to be served before us.. and it took 48 minutes for us to be served!!
I was honestly starving.. I was really gonna ask for the refund and go away.. I understand when restaurants are full.. but if is empty. Is too much.. or.. at least let customer know when they ask at the counter.. cause we were quite in a rush after a whole day at the hospital..
j. m. m.
Very nice place and the staff are fantastic. All perfect
T. S.
Not particularly good value for money - Sunday lunch was served luke warm, and the size of the Yorkshire claimed most of the plate, hence a meager amount of vegetables, but the Yorkie is very nice ! (Children's meals lacks nutritional value - chips & burger - without any extras !)
Overall a lack lustre performance & nutritional value from an overpriced Sunday Lunch - TrevOR
A. C.
Roasts were amazing and the girl with tattoos was really welcoming. Great service
D. H.
Friendly atmosphere, good service.

(Translated) All the charm of a country pub in the middle of Hampstead! The atmosphere is very beautiful, with a fireplace and very well decorated. They have a very cozy terrace at the back. The food is very good, although the prices are rather pulling high (although it is what you can expect from an area like Hampstead). The staff is very friendly and efficient.
