Reviews of The Round House, Covent Garden
What's cool about the spot -
Nice pub to go to when in covent garden. Went there with a few friends for a few drinks and was worth it. Obviously gets crowded on weekends like most other spots. 8 to 9 mins walk from charring cross station. Lots of food options near by after a few drinks. Slightly more spacious than the usual ones in the area.

Lovely girls and quick delicious food!
Good pub, busy
Popped in for a quick evening drink. Nice selection of beers. Friendly staff. Buzzing atmosphere as was busy but not crowded.
I love Covent Garden and the Roundhouse is a great place to take a break and have a beer as well as something to eat. The menu is not substantial but I would think there is something for everyone’s tastes.
Very friendly staff in popular pub .
Lively atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Good selection of ales and responsive staff providing quick service. Didn't eat here but the food looked good.
Great, welcoming covid safe pub
Solid Fullers pub in central Covent Garden. Could do a bit more on the craft beer rotation as some select Fullers pubs manage, but a warm cosy respite from the madness outside.
Good service, nice and clean, great location.
Good drinks range, friendly staff, great location. Small though so not much seating
Very enjoyable visit to a good old fashioned pub in London West end, worth a visit
Very lively, busy pub, good atmosphere. Reasonable priced drinks. Good service.
Nice corner pub. Bit small - average city prices.
Very busy London pub near Covant Gardens. Good beers not too expensive, can be hard to get a seat.
Situated almost as central as anything can get, The Round House somehow still manages to maintain a vintage feel. The corner location of the place, which establishes it's name, also means windows on all sides letting plenty of light in. While it may not be the largest of places, something you will definitely feel on a Friday or Saturday evening, it has a certain character that makes it easy to recommend.
Great selection of beer and lagers at reasonable prices for London. Didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food.
A perfectly normal bat that does what bars do. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant for a Monday night.
Tricky one. Beer was excellent, staff good, but the music system was too loud which increases talk levels and then the sound gets turned up
One of my favourite pubs in london
Lots of passing tourist and local business crowd, drinks taste good, a few very welcome electrical charging points near the bar.
Great, proper pub
Great little pub with a good choice of beers and friendly staff in am awesome location.
If you fancy a quick sausage roll, this is the place. Drinks were ok, mould wine was served half full
Good atmosphere, you can drink outside, friendly staff. Beers are not cheap. Sometimes is very crowded.
It's a pub. Can't say much else. Shame the staff allow children in. There are adults, paying good money, who are having to stand when 3 ten year olds are taking up seats.
One of the old best pubs in Covent Garden great atmosphere, and good food also.
Nice drinks in here
Overpriced and I found badly designed.
Busy London pub ... General drinks had a reasonable Sunday roast service was good would pop in again
Food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Service very quick. Enjoyed our time in there.
Decent selection of beers/ales etc. Quite expensive, as expected for this part of London. Outdoor space is limited and basically just pavement.
Great pub, cosy and authentics, helpful staff, the have verry good fish ans chips with a fresh fish and fresh chips.
Lovely bar to visit. Good choice of drinks. Good atmosphere. Must visit
Great and cosy environment, showed the six nations match which was perfect whilst eating a lovely Sunday Roast. Very friendly staff.
Great selection of ales.
A staple for an after-work drink. Or a lunchtime pint. A variety of beers on tap from Ales to Lagers and quite a few bottled beers too. Plenty of places to eat nearby
Good location and reasonable beer selection but it gets packed and no "atmosphere"
Very nice pub on Covent garden, staff were great, and being a fulllers chain the ESB was very well kept.
Work hangout. Full of w@nkers and @rseholes and that's just us! Good local boozers with quick service and a Tesco next door for food and fags. What more can you want?
Good pub.... Chilled vibe, perfect for an afternoon beverage, the frontier lager is a nice pint
Amazing pub great beers always busy. perfect place in Covent garden
Nice and loud pub. Service is decent and cleaness is ok-ish.
Excellent Sunday roast very reasonably priced. Nice relaxed atmosphere
Wonderful little pub near Covent Garden serving a great wide range of Fuller's beer...would visit again..
Nice pub. Busy. Good selection of beers. Not to expensive for London....👍👍👍👍
Great Sunday roast friendly staff very attentive and knowledgeable get there early as very small if you want a seat.
Didn't know or think its a gastro pub, but its busy and you can get a decent pint here, Nothing super special but on a hot sunny day you can spill out in front and catch the rays
Good food😍 and service👌
Love this pub. Always busy great location next to Covent garden.
Canny bar good music.
had a sunday lunch, when it arrived the vegetables were cold,we told the waiter who couldnt be more apologetic, was returned to the kitchen, then bought back a few minutes later and was excellent,we were offered two freee drinks "on the house",all in all a great sunday lunch, despite the dodgy start, well done boys !!!!
Fab atmosphere, and for being Covent Garden area, very reasonable price for a good beer!
Nice pub
Great pub and atmosphere with large selection of drinks
Nice pub in Covent Garden decent choice of draft beer, peroni on draft was as good as any I've had. Clean, and friendly staff.

Went to meet few mates for a few drinks!! Very good selection of drinks and very nice atmosphere
A nice Fullers pub in the midst of Covent Garden. Adapted well to COVID.
Simple bar very near Covenant Gardens, good for a quick pint.
Stopped in for a drink here. It was a warm summer's evening and the pub had all its doors open giving it a convivial atmosphere. Seating may be hard to come by here but at the same time I did manage to get a seat after about 10 minutes. Staff are friendly and proximity to Covent Garden is a plus also.
If you're here... EAT!
An amazing pub and awesome food, cannot recommend it more!
Great pub but it's closed until 28/01/20 for a reverb
Great, sociable and reasonably priced pub. Will return if I'm in the area.
Dog friendly, great staff, nice surrounds, great selection of drinks!
Very good food, nice atmosphere, great location and staff friendly
Really nice pub with a different setting, relaxing on a quiet night
One of my favourite London pubs. Good traditional, no-nonsense venue.
Great pub with selection of Fuller's ales. 2 minutes walk from Covent garden market
Great atmosphere and attentive bar staff. All good.
Cracking place love it here staff are excellent what more can you want keep up the good work.
This pub sells my favourite beer, (Erdinger), so I'm already biased. Lovely pub and staff are friendly. At the moment the pub seems to be trying to pick itself up from the impact of the virus. The pub is quieter than some of the nearby bars and I don't know why. Food isn't served here any more and this might be a factor. Pubs have has a raw deal recently so I'd like to see this one recover.
Another wonderful place to enjoy stop in and have yourself a nice drink and relax
Have enjoyed a drink there on more than one occasion.
Great service and drinks. Can be packed after work.
Great pub really friendly and welcoming staff.
Friendly Staff and really enjoyable evening. Food is decent also
Good service when busy , quite spacious and good meeting place in the covent garden area!
Fantastically located pub (right next to the park) with a great atmosphere!
Good little pub, very busy, but nice nonetheless.
It was a bit too crowded for me in here, but if you like that sort of thing they serve food and there's no shortage of people to talk to.
Convenient to pop into for a swift pint while on your travels. Typically very busy
Pleasant staff, only had one drink there but a nice pub
Nice pub with good choice of ales and food
Great place to have some beers and enjoy London's after-offices
Good space outside. Drinks are quite expensive. But your in the centre of lodon so...
Bit crowdy sometimes, but its worth it! Great mood, Nice decor, friendly service
Extremely attentive staff, and a great pub. Five stars.
Great lively pub, excellent beer.
You can have a good choice of beers but it gets a bit crowded in the evenings, especially if there is game screened.
Staff didn't have much of a clue what was going on but good vibe and we'll priced wine
Good bar, lots of ales and you can drink outside.
We came here for breakfast. I got a full English and it was just what I needed. Good English fare here.

Great London pub. Full of atmosphere.
Always busy but the location is just perfect so what can you expect
A nice modern looking pub that is not too expensive.
We liked to stay here, good beer, good atmosphare, good bartender
Beautiful little pub, a quiet haven in the middle of a busy street. As with all British pubs, it's hard to tell if it's old-ish or if they have very good interior designer, but it feels lived in and genuine.
Excellent service, excellent ales at regular London prices.
Always a lively place when the sports are on with a few decent ales on tap.
Nice pub with a good friendly atmosphere
Nice PUB, a bit crowded due to very close to Covent Garden.
Pint of Guinnesse was very good. The barman was so talkative.
Was a little disappointed with the standard of the food. Arrived cold when served at the table. Had to be sent back to be warmed up

Nice pub, with delicious English beer.
Meet new unexpected best friends for life as long as the evening lasts.
Great beer service and sport on tv.
Quite a nice pub with multiple choices of beer and drinks and of course for teetotalers like me there always is tap water. Quite a nice evening after office place for conversations short and long alike. One of the oldest watering holes in the area, this place has a definitive UK pub flavour and culture to it. Warm staff and some light food on the menu too.
Delicious pint and warm friendly staff
Decent pub in Covent Garden with outside seating.
Busy boozer. Decent selection of beers and friendly staff

Beer and sharing plate were ok. Very crowded.
Great pub in a great location friendly staff has a kitchen food looked good but did not try. Lively as you would expect a couple of lads got a little rowdy but staff dealt with it immediately. I would have no problems talking my children in.

Good soup and beer selection
Nice bar friendly staff
Nice place to get some pub food
One of my favourite pubs in a great location. Friendly staff.
Can't go wrong with Fullers pubs. Beer well kept and my wife enjoyed her Guinness. Expensive of course but that's to be expected given the location.
Staff were great and dealt well with a bloke who came in on the cadge.
Not as lively as when I first visied back in the 90s
Little bit cosy despite location

Centrally located, lovely British pub serving a great range of drinks. Staff are always so friendly and the atmosphere is great! Recommend for a stop off whilst out & about!
Well, it's lively, full of atmosphere. Vast selection of drinks. Warm friendly staff. And very swift service.
Will visit again no doubt!!!
Great food and went in with my dads mobility scooter and asked if we could charge it ,, no problem at all x staff was lovely x
Nice Fullers pub near Covent Garden and Leicester Square, good place to meet colleagues after work.
Press ‘like’ if my review is of benefit
Lovely staff. Cheap prices for the heart of London.
You can easily expect that in Central London’s West End you wouldn’t receive excellent service but you’d be wrong! I stopped by here with my Mother on Saturday and the service was excellent and kind. The ‘substantial meal’ was delicious and it wasn’t something I’d have ever chosen but really good.
Thank you and I really hope this situation is over so that you can thrive again.
Lovely pub. Super friendly lady behind the bar. Great location. Perfect
Cozy, well lit, pretty, great staff and great drinks even
Great old fashioned pub in the middle of all the entertainment. Good welcome too. 👍

It's ok for a quick drink
A busy, lively, noisy pub with friendly punters, staff, nice beer, and great service. We love it here for a before/after show drink.
Love this place! Definitely have a beer here. The beer is great. The vibe is great. The food is wonderful. I highly recommend the Fish and Chips. If you're fortunate enough to be there on a Sunday, consider the Sunday roast. Our server, Sammy, should be elected best server in London, in my opinion.
Great pub in Covent garden. Nice range of Beers and Gins.
Just been to see Tina and popped in for a quick drink on the way home. Still here 3 hours and 5 bottles of fizz later. Great atmosphere and fabulous staff. Brilliant playlist. We sang every word. Thanks we've had a blast.
This place serves all sorts. Generic beer to good quality bottled Belgium beers and other interesting European types. Cliental is beyond their control, sports events attract big crowds, so remember, there's at least 4 different 'bars' to get served at....
Nice bar, atmosphere without being crowded. London prices but...it is in London.
Very pleasant, very central and decent beer selection.
Friendly staff, well kept real ale
Nice pub in a great location.
A friendly pub which although it is busy it still had a cosy and local theme. It felt a little short on stools for the taller tables but after a short wait we got a table and ordered food. It was hot and tasty, served quickly and a competitive price for the central location. Pints were also well priced and they had a decent range of local real ales. I would certainly recommend as a lunch or dinner option if like us you are waiting for the evening shows after exploring the local area!
Very friendly staff. Great place to sit with a cold beer, do some work and watch the world go by!
Cosy pub, cool vibe & best G&Ts in town!
Friendly staff nice pub
Ive passed by this pub several times throughout my stay in london. It was a lovely vibrant pub. Serving decent alcohol with a good atmosphere. I would have loved to tasted their vast menu but unfortunately didn't get the chance.
Perfect fish and chips, tasty ale, very friendly service!
In Convent Garden, a well run Fullers pub. Lovely beers and good selection of wines and spirits. Good food menu but unfortunately no time to try. Take time to look at the decor it’s really traditional and well kept.
Lovely pub. Superb service from Daisy and her team. Very close to Covent Garden. In that difficult time they follow all Covid rules.
Must go there.
I love this place and definitely I will come back
The Round House was recommended to us by a tour guide. Fantastic fish and chips served with peas. Very adequate portions and very tasty as well. Staff was very friendly and prompt. We had a great experience here and would definitely patronize this establishment again.
Good selection of drinks and the staff were very polite. The pub is a little bit tucked out of the way so great for a quiet pint.
All part of our Friday night pub crawl
Good honest pub with kind and caring staff 🍺
Brilliant service and lovely beer!!
Friendly staff. Fast service. Good range of Fullers beers. Kept clean to a high standard
Very yummy veg Sunday roast. Served by a great team.
My daughter said mash was only ok.
Overall I would definitely recommend. So close to the fabulous Covent Garden too
Excellent pub with professional welcoming staff
This is my favourite place to drink in the
west end.
Jaymie (the blond guy)
This pub will definetely offer you a nice selection of really great ales (although just like any other of Fuller's pubs in the area), it will also give you this extremely tasty sunday specials of roasts. They are amazing and you really should try these!
Be advised though, there are not much of amount of tables available (book in advance!), plus some of the closest to the doors (which makes a half of them) are really not so warm during cold seasons. Still definetely worth it!
The staff here was really kind and easygoing and they had a decent selection of beer. I wasn't too impressed overall with the food as I ordered fish and chips which was quite greasy and didn't have a whole lot of taste. My son ordered the wings which seemed like they didn't have a ton of flavor either.
Original English pub with nice beer (6£)and burger (11.5£). Fish and chips serving was enough for 2 people but not as tasty as the burger.
The place would get 5 stars, but the toilets were disgusting (both men's and women's), so it's a 4 from me.
We were three nights in a row during our recent stay in London. Lovely place with great atmosphere, good music and nice staff. Great pub to go if you are in Covent Garden... I asked for some bottle caps for my collection but unfortunately they were thrown here and there and I did not want to disturb. The only "bad" thing. Hahahaha
It was a fab pub, excellent atmosphere and most importantly the beer was lovely, especially the hopsack pale (can't remember the name) at 3.8% was a very drinkable, light and summery beer which was delicious if pricey.. The two security people were friendly and discreet and the bar staff were quick and efficient
Typical trendy London bar. Reasonable prices for London, good selection of bottles light beers, ales and cider. Outside seating - not a lot, but this is a pedestrian pavement area.
We stumbled upon this place as a group of work colleagues on a day out and I must say we had one of the best nights we've ever had. Great Atmosphere the whole pub were singing and dancing and we will certainly be visiting again real soon.
A great pub in a great location. Obviously can get very busy, but worth a visit if in London. Not too bad on prices either.
A brilliant place to meet friends and family. If you are a tourist and find your self staying or visiting Covent Garden then please take at look at this pub. Great drinks offering, friendly knowledgeable staff, clean, great atmosphere.
Great location to watch the world go by . Pride is Great
Always enjoyable
The archetypal London pub. Loads of brass and glass behind the bar. Good selection of ales. Not very big....just half a round. Central to a busy area between Covent garden and Leicester square. We always seem to come here....don't know why....just a good feel and nice ambience....as per usual...same as most London pubs....the toilets are disgusting...
Good selection of beers on tap, but gets very very crowded in the evenings and weekends. Which makes it an ideal place to watch sports. Note: Do go early if you wish to catch the finals of Wimbledon, as I found out from experience.
Good drinks selection - No cocktails
Nice pub just minutes from Covent Garden. You have the option to drink outside, which is nice if the weather allows it. Average prices and good selection of beers. Food is what you expect to find in pretty much any pub.
Lovely pub with a great range of drinks and a wide roomy bar. A little on the expensive side even for Covent garden. Good location for an afterwork drink.
Good pint. Difficult to get a seat.
Excellent modern classic styled pub in the centre of the social action surrounding Covent Garden
Come here for drinks after work and a good chat. Its bristling with buisnessmen and central londoners meeting in a comfy and relaxed place for a catch up.
Its got good beers on draught if you are into your ales. They take care of the pumps and make sure the bar is clean and well tended. I'm assured the wine is very fine too. Its a busy bar but I didn't have to wait more than 1 person before I was politely served.
Its situated on the pointy end of a street so is a small venue. This is not the place for a 20 strong crowd of bachelors pre-drinking for a night on the town and its all the better for it.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere, but place is quite small so difficult to enjoy your drink without spilling if it is busy.
Great pub, went last week and stopped in for lunch with family, lady was very polite, the pub has a very nice and had a clean feel to it. The food was very tasty even though we only had ceaser salads and sandwiches, but the fullers London Pride was fab, i had to have a second just to confirm it. :)
Nice cosy place & lovely service with a good choice of ales
Reasonable prices and friendly staff.
I love this pub, the staff and security guy are so warm and friendly . Great Sunday roast and great for a glass of wine . 10/10 you are fabulous !
Fish and chips were good as was the service. Friendly too.
A Fuller's pub, good choice of beers and wines, always popular especially after work and pre-theatre
Can be busy at times but plenty of staff,2 mins walk from centre of Covent Garden.
Nice boozer expensive but then it's central London. Handy whilst waiting for the misses buying makeup down the road. Fullers pub so pints are ok if not amazing.
Lovely small round pub with heaps of lovely natural light beaming in. Good service and was nice and quiet on a rugby Sunday so a good find to watch the 6 nation's without a crowd
Perfect. Tried three diffenet places till we could all get what we wanted. Wild boar sausage roll was delicious. The servixe was quick, efficent and delivered with a genuine smile
Good central located pub. Usually has decent real ale on. On the pricey side as a pub but you are just off Covent Garden. Staff are pleasant.
Things have changed and this pub no longer features the Belgian Trappist beers in bottles and on tap it used to have. The basic pub is the same, thankfully.
We live just down the road from this pub and are thrilled its reopened. Every-time we have been the staff have been great and the service is always quick. We went last night with my brother who was in town and sat outside. Our server was so lovely and the beers arrived really quickly. We were sat a couple of tables across from a lady who was clearly upset and the way the manager and staff members treated her, and made her feel was truly heart-warming. Within ten minutes the staff made her smile and completely changed her mood. The team really care about the customers and it was the most lovely and touching demonstration of top-notch customer service I have ever seen. Kindness really is a focal point of this teams philosophy and we will 100% return more often (probably tonight! :))
