Lovely, helpful staff. Great bar but food focused. Three casks available including Otter bitter from Devon, also one from Sambrook's and blindside from Truman's. Quite eclectic! A fine establishment, do hunt it out and call in!

Good food, cute little outdoor area which spills out onto the street - perfect for sunny days. Trendy but casual if that makes sense.

Sunday Beef Bavette Roast w/carrots, spinach and a giant Yorkshire pudding. 8.5/10. Sunday roasts are a dime a dozen in the UK, let alone in London where it is saturated by touristy pubs or pretentious gastropubs serving none other than average pieces of beef and slapping a 'Sunday Roast' tag on them. Then comes Sands End Pub's spin on the traditional dish. Serving up a bavette cut of the beef, the roast focuses on the majestically tender and reddish pink strips of the meat lavishly bathed in a home cooked sauce and sharing its top billing on the plate with a side of rustic vegetables. Crowned with a ginormous Yorkshire pudding the size of an air pumping fist, the classic dish is complete...along with my search for the best Sunday Roast around.
