Reviews of The Scottish Stores
L. W.
Great atmosphere, staff were amazingly welcoming! We had 3 kids with us and the staff made us feel extremely welcome. Would definitely recommend....plus the Guiness is bang on❤️
D. B.
Nice pub, friendly staff and benefits from having a larger seating area since my last visit. Offers discounts to CAMRA members if that's your thing!
S. B.
Lovely cosy pub however if you're looking for a truly Scottish pub to remind you of home, this isn't it. Not a great selection of Scottish beers and spirits. That being said, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is great, a lovely wee pub.
J. L.
Pub with a great selection of international beers and themed events. Manager Gerald is exactly what you expect from a pub manager, friendly and engaging. A must go for any mood
S. W.
Old fashioned style pub ...Great music great atmosphere...quite pokey but open plan..even qhen busy seemed to be seating for everyone...was disappointed they only served pizza and nachos but kinda get the fact they probably had limited kitchen facilities... staff very professional and friendly.. prices below average for London.rated this this place and will return
A. R.
Great place, it's a pub with traditional, original fittings at one end and then on the other side feels more of a wine bar. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect before and after Nenno next door! One improvement they could make; their pizzas are listed as 12" stone-baked which gives the impression of fresh, Italian style ones. Actually they're not 12" and are pre-made and then tarted-up by adding oils and grated cheese - they actually looked very appetising but would be good if they made proper ones fresh.
D. L.
Excellent selection of beer and an awesome roof terrace. Service was also really good. Steer clear of the pizza, it's basically a tesco £1 pizza with a bit of extra cheese thrown on it. But the pub doesn't pretend to be a gastropub, so it's a minor point and shouldn't stop you heading there!
D. T.
A great little pub close to Kings Cross station. Great selection of beers, both keg and cask. A labyrinthine place with (sic) many crooks and nannies. The staff are wonderful, happy, polite and knowledgable. A great pint in a great place, saving the roof terrace for my next visit when all remediation will be complete! Thanks for the hospitality.
M. P.
The wooden interior of this placed hasn't changed in years. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine whilst watching the world go by. I guess post covid-19 this establishment will be well attended.
M. C.
Sunday lunchtime visit, so not busy. Staff were welcoming and the place has a lot of character. Will certainly be visiting again... 🍻
P. J.
Great pub with a colorful history, great selection of beers and nice crowd
S. N.
Good boozer not far from Kings Cross Station with a wide selection of beers, lsgers & ciders. Bigger on the inside than it looks.
K.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Old school pub with craft beers.
K.
Cute pub, good wine, ale and friendly service.
I. B.
Nice friendly pub, felt at home in there soaking up atmosphere and few beers
B. P.
Food is good (although there aren't many options) and there's a great deal of 4 beers for £15 so that's a yes from me!
V. V.
Good convenient pub. Some interesting beer on tap / cask /keg. Lively and warm
M. L.
This is the pub for ales. I go here whenever in London. Top class choice and great staff
S. W.
Enjoyed a couple of visits to their rooftop garden, when staying at King's Cross.
R. B.
Good beer selection. Neat pub. I probably wouldn't eat here -- they do serve pizza, but I've seen it and it just doesn't look appealing. Granted, haven't tried it. Still one of my favourite watering holes in King's Cross.
R. H.
Getting better and better. The beer selection is improving fast and the pub seems to be getting some proper character again. I like it.
A. U.
Nice pub, good beer and friendly service.
M. C.
The staff are all as welcoming as ever; top notch. We're currently tooooo well spaced: shouting room only! Please come on down for a pint. Six real ales on! (Should that be your thing). The SOUNDS are sublime. What more can I say?
Come on!!!
LET'S BE 'AVIN' YOU!!!
D. G.
My favourite pit stop after a long train journey into King's Cross. Friendly staff and banging beers!
J. P.
Lovely pub enjoyed the atmosphere here and the drinks.
S. P.
Really nice pub and great selection
J.
Popped in for a pint after lunch. Place was v quiet but barman was friendly and range of beers decent. The roof terrace is a revelation for this part of town; sadly I only found it as I was about to leave. I look forward to coming back when I'm early for a train.
S. S.
Great dive bar, amazing beer selection. Staff was very responsive.
D. H.
Can someone tell me is this the same pub that use to be part strip bar in mid 2000s and apparently had the worst loo in a pub. Which was the inspiration for the the toilet in trainspotting?? Sure its the same pub i went in ..but looks alot different now. Going in by the way was on the off chance .
A. B.
Great pun for rugby and great beer list with beers from all over the world.
T. W.
Great little pub near St Pancras although I may have been approached to "do balloons" by a fellow citizen. I declined and thusly dispatched the continental beer in front of me.

The Scottish Stores
❤️ Refurbished from the ashes of the Flying Scotsman, there has been an amazing transformation & the pub looks great. There are wood panelled walls and etched glass in the 3 bars. There is a good selection of diverse ales & beers, an ideal meeting point at Kings Cross.

Nice little pub, perfect location for us next to the travelodge. Working siang after a night at Scala or was just what the doctor ordered...
J. P.
Good selection of craft beers.
Big pub. Nice rooftop space
C. B.
Solid pub, good vibes and great music. M
S. M.
Great place to wind down after work with a pint or two, and a little food to boot
J. K.
Smart venue with a good selection of well kept beers.
A. P.
Staff were courteous, attentive and (most crucially) fast.
Beer selection was OK, with standard offerings to suit the IPA lover.
B. C.
Excellent place, visited with a few friends, brilliant atmosphere, nice staff, didn't feel under any pressures like in some pubs at the moment, watched the football and had a laugh with other groups in there, will definitely call again.
A. G.
Good boozer near King’s Cross that serves Tennents and has a rooftop bar!
j. r.
Not a bad pub. Very grumpy staff on this visit
S. B.
Great pub close to Kings Cross, with affiliated accomodation too. Offers a good range of food and drinks, reasonably priced for London
G. L.
What a find. Great pub. Unfortunately didn't have time to visit the roof top bar but was buoyed by the enthusiasm of the staff.
J. M.
Great little pub at St.Pancras, would definitely recommend a visit.
J. F.
Great selection of beers, friendly service and eclectic (in a good, welcoming, not-in-your-face, accepting-within-reason kind of way) clientele. They need to open the upstairs terrace back up though, that place was a brilliant drinking spot.
s. w.
Nice pub close to King's x
M. S.
Was slightly confusing upon arrival to the pub as to how/who to announce our arrival to, but we got to our table in the end. Leaving at the end was kind of abrupt. I understand that the rules have changed on leaving by 10pm but I think the general approach is now one of "Everyone leave. We can't be late. Doors close at 10pm sharp". Obviously not necessarily the pubs fault given the circumstances, but a bloke yelling at us and handing out plastic cups was a weird end to the evening.
E. C.
Reasonably priced for central London, but they drowned out all ability to have polite conversation with unbelievably loud music (think euro pop / dance)... At like... 6pm
I. T.
Nice pub. Usually crowded. They have pizzas but I think the pizzas are not freshly made. From the taste and look of the pizza I would say it's just frozen pizza. Good customer service. Good music and good atmosphere. I recommend it but I wouldn't choose it for food. Just for drinks and music.
M. H.
PRETTY OLD FASHIONED PUB...LOVELY BAR STAFFS...
G. P.
My favorite pub near King's Cross!
C. D.
Good German beer and some great music
P. H.
No indoor seating due to Covid restrictions. However, there is a small rooftop terrace you can sit and enjoy a good drink.
S. D.
After a first live gig in 16 months at the nearby Kings Place, shared a drink with the Tartan Army here. Great night out 👍🏻
R. D.
Decent beer in a proper pub.
P. R.
Great pub close to the train station
P. G.
Lovely back street independent pub, great selection of beers on tap, super staff.
G. D.
Only their briefly and sat outside. Not ideal outside, right on the road. Service was fine. And, as I said I only stopped for one drink.
g. s.
Nice bar lady's very fit
L.
Cool pub, go here quite often with mates after work. Good selection of beers and the wine especially is very good, but more expensive than other pubs in the area. Don't get the pizzas though, they cost £9 but taste like the ones you get at Iceland from the freezer...wish they still just did chips instead
M. M.
incredible selection of beers on tap & friendly staff: nice place to visit if ever in the kings cross area
V.
Lovely pub with a rustic feel right near King's Cross. Went there on a Friday night with some friends and it has a great alternative feel to all the trendy hipster wine bars in the area. Would recommend for a good proper pub experience
A. S.
I loved this place. Me and my partner spent some time at this pub during our short trip. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff! And of course good selection of drinks! Strongly recommended!
E. N.
Fantastic selection of ales, and the pizzas on the pub menu serve well as a sharable snack. Minor gripe is the prices for a pint, but I suppose £4-6 is usual for the area. Recommended!
a. a.
It's OK pub for a quick drink. Friendly staff.
P. I.
There's a great selection of beers and drinks to choose from and the place is very interesting inside. It looks very traditional (Which works really well!) However, I'm pretty easy going when it comes to music but when I visited, the music didn't seem to be for everyone and was became annoying more than anything with it being some sort of trance music. I think some songs to suit the place that are easy listening would have done the trick. Saying that, the staff were great and the beers were great so I left a happy customer!
D. G.
Visiting, not a traditional pub but has a good feel of energy / social spirit to it. Serves Fresh ales, good quality and the staff are professional. Lively but on this adds to the atmosphere of the pub instead of taking away from the experience. Recommended as the the pub has more character than some traditional pubs offer.
T. &. Z. H.
Pub close to the Premier Inn where we were staying , just called in for a coupla pints & watch the world go by .
D. H.
Very nice pub with interesting beers and nice snacks. We were there today, 28th December. It was a bit late in opening and so we nearly went elsewhere but it opened just in time. Everything fine except that the ladies toilets seemed a bit grubby at one hour after opening. Not sure there had been any cleaning since the night before!
D. J.
Characterful, and a great pint of Camden IPA
R. A.
This was a great pub after it reopened a few years ago. However it changed management recently and I've noticed a few changes - there constantly seems to be a number of cask beers unavailable, and the staff don't appear to be well trained. I went in this evening and waited an inordinate amount of time to be served. There were three staff members behind the bar who spent more time faffing with the till than serving drinks. And the prices are getting silly (£5.30 for a Guinness!!). Given the crowds this place gets, this pub seriously needs to up it's game!
D. R.
One of the more interesting pubs in the whole of North London: the one side is an old traditional pub with real ales + lots of whiskeys, but it still has a busy fun atmosphere at night, with great music; the other side is more of a bar, but also with lots of beers & cocktails. The best of both worlds in one place! Sadly their roof terrace is closed, but will be bigger once it reopens according to the staff.
I. D.
Two bars, traditional style pub on one side and larger open area on the other. Lots of beers, ales and lagers to choose from at good prices. Keep a good ale and knowledgeable about them as well. Keep lots of good ales with different optics in each section so worth ASKING when you walk in what they have!
R.
Generally friendly and efficient service and a great selection of real ales (sorry, craft beers!) which seem to change regularly and which the staff could tell me a bit about. The wine bar next door (you can walk between them) has a more contemporary feel but I've never had wine there so can't speak for what it is like. Importantly it means the pub is a lot bigger overall and there are lots of different corners where it can feel quite cosy. It's also very accessible from/to the big stations nearby.
R. H.
Big, open and airy pub, not too far from Kings Cross station. Was a God send, as we had to wait for a delayed train and there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of pubs within walking distance. Friendly staff, a good pint and a comfy sofa, was just what we needed.
V. P. M.
Very nice time I spent with my friends there
J. Z.
It was a bit late as I went there and i asked if they still serve food, the barkeeper said they do a very good fish and chips menue so I took it. Unfortunately the fish was dry like paper and the fries werent done yet. As I said it to the barkeeper he just shaked his shoulders. I didn't eat up, drank my cider and left the place. Food wasn't cheap and a waste, sorry. Hope they're doing better with the new pizza concept. Bar has a good atmosphere.
P.
Lovely pub with good atmosphere and a great selection of ales. Nice friendly staff too.
A. Y.
Lovely pub with a rooftop garden. Great choice of drinks.
A. J.
Friendly pub with lovely open air beer garden ontop .
D. P.
Cool atmosphere and nice and close to the station.
J. S.
Lively pub with good music.
K. H.
Lovely pub staffed by a top team. Good beer, great atmosphere and a commitment to customer service that goes above and beyond the usual brewery pub. Bravo!
M. A.
Great beer selection and lovely surroundings. Plenty of Real Ale as well as "craft" - getting harder to find these days. Great music. A touch pricey, but what else do you expect for the location?!
P. C.
Good beer, friendly staff :)
R. S.
Excellent pub with a good selection of beers both hand pump & craft. On my visit food was limited to nice scotch eggs & a variety of good pork pies plus standard package pub snacks. Very pleasant staff & the landlord, Ian, is very friendly & approachable.
W.
Had a great night / day NYD. Gerrard a great manager, super staff, friendly atmosphere. Great music, ..."Reach out and touch me x" Depeche mode, bar banging. Hopefully see u guys again real soon x
S. W. R.
Lovely pub with great roof garden.
M. T.
Best pub in London. Coming from San Diego I was a bit off put by the lack of staff-patron interaction at local pubs but Richard at The Scottish Shores completely turned that around. Super sweet and welcoming staff with plenty of helpful local tips and recommendations.
C. F.
I was extremely surprised to walk into this place, a minute walk away from Kings Cross station, and find myself buying a cheap pint! I definitely recommend going here for a drink if you're looking for a chilled pub. The staff were extremely friendly too!
S. L.
Great beer garden, accomodating staff, funky tunes and fairly priced booze for location.
D. B.
Reasonable selection of beers, but seemed to lack anything particularly hoppy. Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere.
All stools, no chairs, so people with mobility issues might struggle to get comfortable here.
P. M.
It was excellent..lovely bar, lovely staff..!
C. P.
Nice pub playing music for both youngsters and adults, lots of space
A. H.
If you have been there in the past don't be put off. It is now a gastro pub not a strip joint. Like all central London gastro look forward to expensive drinks and food. Nontheless nice pub good beers. Food is OK.
G. P.
Awesome real ale pub with a great atmosphere that is joined to a lovely upscale wine bar. Best of both worlds! They also to 10% CAMRA discount for members which is great for central London. They do take care of their ale. It’s great.
M. R.
A great and old fashioned London boozer, refurbished sympathetically to its former glory. Great choice of beers but one member of staff did seem to struggle with multiple orders, happily his colleague helped him out.. a lot.
F. B.
This is a nice place with a good, ever changing selection of beers and a friendly proprietor. There's also a decent selection of cider available, though mostly bottled. Well worth popping in if you find yourself thirsty around King's Cross.
J. M.
Upon arrival we were greated by friendly bar staff who showed us to our seating area and served us drinks,we were made very welcome. The food was tasty and plentiful, and we were pleasantly surprised that the bottomless prosecco tasted so good and our glasses were always keeped full .will definitely be going back
M. T.
OMG great place, amazing staff, fantastic atmosphere, good music, love it, will defiantly come again, The bar stafff were friendly especially the blonde hair female for being amazing and the other for a gorgeous smile and being so friendly and happy, landlord was just the best, thanx guys
C. B.
Friendly atmosphere and BrewDog on tap. 100/10
M. A.
My favourite pub in the King's Cross area, very friendly owner reflectively the staff. Nice atmosphere and offers variety of drinks and cocktails at good prices. The new kitchen is a fantastic addition.
C. C.
So great and inexpensive for London! Really friendly owners and never crowded. The most relaxed pub of all time, I've gone here two nights in a row now. Everyone is so friendly and they have anything.
A. F.
Interesting pub/bar. Prices are reasonable and they have a large selection of largers from around the world. Good vibe, can be loud and has a decent amount of seating. The cocktail menu was smaller and a bit expensive but nothing extortionate. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.
A. R.
Awesome terrace, all hidden from everyone and with great privacy.
The place's so nice and service was correct, so close to King's cross international station.
Great to grab a good beer before leaving London. Went there with some friends, for a farewell.
I ll come back again.
J. E.
This place has recently finished a refurb and bought itself back to proper London pub standard. Really good beer, snack and food. Prices are really reasonable. Staff are good, always a good atmosphere and really near Kings Cross for the commuter fancying a drink on the way home.
L. W.
Good choice of beer and a nice busy vibe on a Saturday night without being too in your face. Friendly staff and overall one of two good places to drink near Kings X station (the pub actually in the station is tre bon)
G. M.
Really fun and friendly bar, the night I attended there was a great covers band that kept the enthusiastic crowd dancing till after midnight. Recommend.
I. D.

J. G.
Great beer selection along with a relaxing roof terrace
T. B.
Great pub, brilliant staff & a very decent craft beer choice. Highly recommended.
R. S.
Friendly staff, nice ambience, great beer selection.
Z. P.
Very cool place to hangout. Very kind personnel
D. H.

M. P.
A proper London pub. Smart wood panelling, original fittings and decent selection of ales, wines and in a perfect location for a quick drink before commuting home. Friendly staff and a nice vibe, really mixed crowd, all of whom seemed to enjoy having a drink in a proper pub for a change. perfect for after work drinks.
D. M.
This was the last pub we visited in London and it was by far the best. Great vibe, service and beer selection. Richard, our bartender was very hospitable. 10/10 would return again.
A. H.
This place has the nicest chef, such a sweet and cheerful man. Unfortunately the bartender wasn’t very knowledgable and served wine that was off.
j.
Great pub, very good bar staff. Close enough to Kings Cross to pop in for a beer before you head home after a day's work. They even serve food for the hungry.
A. C.
Excellent pub, but not sure about the management. Came down from Glasgow yesterday with my buddies for a stag do and as soon as we got off the train decided to come to our favourite pub in london. We were a big group so it immediately got busy with just us, but we were served pretty quick. Bartender behind the bar, who said his name was Michael, was running around like an absolute lunatic serving all of us. Meanwhile the manager was disappearing in and out the bar and barely helping out , he was cleaning lines (which I think should be done before the pub opens) and just generally not there to help out. By the time we left Mike looked genuinely exhausted and run down but he was still standing like a trooper, and extremely sorry for some of the cask not being a good quality because theyd been tapped before theyd settled enough in the pub. We had a good time in the end, but a big thanks to Mike for putting up with all of us alone for a couple hours before we headed to our hotel. Thanks Mike!
D. G.
Party atmosphere with a strange twist between gastro and traditional. Beer was tasty and played classic tunes (e.g. madness), so a win in my books!
P. W. (.
Sweating, heart pulsing, darkness shrouds the room as I awaken from my slumber in a state of weary panic. I look to the end of the room and see myself staring, longingly, into the darkness behind my eyes. I wonder to myself, can I get the old school charm of the Scotland in the heart of London city.
Much to my surprise, yea was the answer I ended up settling on. Here's my story of finding this charming little pub...
So I went to this concert, left, then found the closest pub open, which was this one.
Good selection of beer and whiskey.
S. M.
Great laid back Sunday night live music solo performances. I went in for a single beer but stayed for the whole show until 9pm because the artist was so talented! Massive selection of beer too :)
J. M.
Great pub with great people! Our home base while we were visiting from America
L. S.
Lovely place. Lovely staff. We enjoyed ourselves
S. G.
Since it reopened as the Scottish Stores, this pub has shown a whole new side. It's beautifully appointed with gorgeous original features, and a must-visit for fans of real ale and craft ale alike
S. B.
Some lovely original panelling and a fair selection of beer (not as good as I remember from last year). HOWEVER, on my most recent visit a group of patrons were literally screaming on and off for a good hour and were not asked to leave. My partner described the atmosphere as "horrible". Playing music makes it feel like a Wetherspoons, and not in a good way.
C. C.
Lovely place to have a drink and people watch
T. B.
Great pub, brilliant staff & a very decent craft beer choice. Highly recommended.
E. F.
Amazing! Service was above and beyond and the veg burgers are soooooo good. Not to mention the fries. Thank you the wine stores!! Will probably be coming at least a few more times this week :)
B. R.
Really nice new roof terrace area - good for group meet ups. Nice heaters - very important!
M. F.
Excellent atmosphere, good beer and appreciated Gerard the manager giving us the history and hospitality. Hope yo see you at 6:3 Borozo in Budapest to return the favour!
J. T.
Terrible beer but one doesn't visit for real ale; this place is all about the strippers. The girls aren't the most ravishing you'll see, it's more Fiesta than Swank but there is an attainability of the dancers that makes it somehow attractive. It's very much 'girl next door' and a bit like watching your girlfriend strip which is perfectly entertaining and the girls have had some training so it's not totally amateur. If you want something a tad more classy try the Griffin, or if you've got money to burn Spearmint Rhino
N. N.
Much nicer than the old dive that used to be there! Comfortable seats, airy feel. Lighting pleasant. Good selection of beer.
t. c.
Popped in decent pint close to KX
M. S.
Always a solid/decent choice. Well kept beer, decent prices, perhaps just a touch on the bland/corporate side though can't fault the staff at all.
A. W.
Classic boozer in Kings Cross. A prized local for the guardian crowd. Friendly staff, good selection of beers and a nice vibe. + they have seemingly never ending patience for our shenanigans.
t. g.
Cracking Pub close to Kings Cross worth a pint whilst waiting for a train.
b. p.
A good traditional pub with a good selection of fine Ales
B. A.
Good beer in a good location. There's a nice crowd and the service is friendly.
N. D.
Busy pub with attached wine bar and a roof top area to enjoy. Usually have a good selection of real ales and craft beers on as well as the usual lagers and beers
J. G.
Great beer selection along with a relaxing roof terrace
A. H.
Only found this place a couple of weeks ago and glad I did. A lovely, traditional wood panelled pub. Friendly service and nice pub atmosphere. Old school and all the better for it.
P. H.
I actually really liked this pub. Decent beer, friendly staff, lovely decor and surprisingly uncrowded for its extremely central location.
D. P.
Had a couple of beers here. Really liked the William Morris wallpaper and curtains. The service was prompt and the barmaid was friendly.
L. F.
Had a great night. Service spot on,do a great pizza.
O. S.
Surprising music selection, played Shaggy and some RnB. Staff were a mixed bag, some friendly others not so much. Double JD and coke is about £6 so not too expensive.
y. m.
Gerald is just the best waiter in london....he sorted me out with food when me and my friends needed it the most. We spend 3 hours drinking in the pub afterwards because he was sooooooooo f...... lovely.
T. C.
Second visit decent bar.
L. J.
Knowledgeable staff and friendly service.
C. W.
Whilst booking train home popped in here .About five minutes walk from Kings Cross.Lovely place great music and good selection of cask ales and drinks.Tried the bees knees drink with daughter and decided to have few more went home happy.Thankyou lovely barlady.
J. L.
Great bar great staff so friendly and understanding
Huge array of beers and lagers and spirits what more could a guy ask for
T. L.
I think this is a great place great staff and good choice of food and drinks
M. D.
Needed a place to hang out waiting for my train, found this place, very friendly and even has some tables out from to have a smoke at. Next time I'm down that way I'll be sure to pop back in.
N. M.
Good selection of beers. Staff were friendly. The place itself despite being busy lacked any kind of atmosphere. Maybe just the night we went
L. A.
My friend and I went for a night out and catch up at the Wine Stores last night. We did a deal for prosecco and a platter - everything was great, the food was delicious! The staff were also absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us, special shout out to Emer who looked after us so well. We will be back for sure!

Lovely friendly fun pub.
P. F.
Awesome atmosphere, pizzas are amazing and great value. Staff very friendly. The place is a bit of a labarinth but it means theres more to explore! Definatly recommend!!!!!!!
J. S.
Nice pub friendly service most of the time
M. S.
The Wine Stores is a great venue for after work drinks. Always a great atmosphere and a range of cocktails/shots on offer. Guaranteed good night!
B.
Good place for a drink near kings cross with a rotating set of craft beers, and a landlord who is passionate about his craft. It can get rowdy when Scotland are playing as fans converge!
J. K.
A lovely Olde fashion pub with some fantastic woodwork. What with four real ales on offer what more does one want . Just a short walk from both St Pancras & Kings Cross stations ..
T. L.
Nice spot, good selection of wines and beers that change regularly.
M. H.
Friendly pub, nice staff and superb selection of beers. They even do cocktails!
M. T.
I was the only Scottish man in there with my English misses the bar man seem confused when I asked for his best single malt and he reached for a bottle of jack Daniels WTF
Once corrected he then tried to put cola in with a single malt ???????? Are u mad
What makes it a Scottish pub ?????
3 stars Coz the misses said so
I would give 1 star
H. I. L.
Very happy to be here, Andresito and Dario were the best waitress!! Many thanks!!
J. M. G. C.
Comfortable surroundings with a wide selection of craft beers. I had a short interaction with the owners and he was friendly and enthusiastic.
W. W.
Lovely pub. Nice selection of beers and quiet ambience for being so closer to King's Cross
S. S.
Quite small inside but you can move to the wine bar area. cool staff and a decent choice of beer, pretty cool interior, loads of original features
A. M.
Small ish pub but nice atmosphere I thought. Went on a Friday Eve.. Good selection of beers
L. W.
Great selection of beers on draft. Cosy, one of the nicest pubs in the local vacinity.
J. S.
We did the beer and cheese Groupon and it was an excellent deal. It was more cheese than we could eat and the beer options were great. Service pretty friendly too
P.
Great selection of beers, friendly staff and good music - can highly recommend the mulled cider!
D. P.
Good pub
L. U.
The beer is okay but the pub itself is pretty boring and has no atmosphere. The light strings in the back room are terrible.
J. L.
Great pub, friendly and comfortable
s. M.
Not sure if it woz the real TENNENTS lager they were serving ?
G. H.
It was nice, but I saw someone leave 3/4 of their Guinness so something must have been wrong
K. A.
Smart, lovely wooden proper pub inside. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the beer was very good too. Definitely be back.
J. J.
Wonderful pub, in the heart of Kings cross, great atmosphere always, and friendly staff ...get yourself along and have a wee dram..
M. M.
Great experience. It's national drink beer day Britain and they Gay Gordons are dancing. What a nice atmosphere. :)
P. M.
Since its rebirth as a proper pub (it used to be the Flying Scotsman, a pound-in-a-pint strip bar), it's great. Good for a drink after work
G. S.
Worth a visit. Not much beyond beer and wine however was told whiskeys are en route. Free pop corn is a nice touch.
R. s.
Cosy and quaint. Mulled cider was amazing though not warm enough :( But as a quick pit stop on a busy day - it was fine.
R. S.
It's fair to say that this pub has improved greatly since my last visit in the late 1980's! One of the best pubs close to Kings X
E. D.
Quirky little haunt in king's x. Nice staff, cold beer! Gets crowded/rowdy in a good way.
M. G.
Nice place. Good service. Highish prices, but seemed comparable to other pubs nearby.
R. S.
Friendly staff, nice ambience, great beer selection.
R. L.
Thanks to Gill for for our meal this evening. Finished off a great day in London in style. Enjoy Christmas with your son.

Nice place, nice musique in every style, nice people working there, nice pizza, nice artexpo, nice customers,....nice everything !! I was just for a weekend in London and I spent two evenings in this bar where I had a realy good time ! Thanks especially to Dario for his lovely smile and to the barmaid (I don't know here name) for the 10 minutes Aphex Twin music.
R. F.

c. h.
Really nice bar
R. M.
My best friend and I held our 30th here a couple of weeks ago and couldn't have had a better experience. There was no hire charge which is so rare in central London and we were given free run of the Wine Stores. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating (unlike the Big Chill round the corner) and meant that our birthday was completely stress free. I'd recommend to anyone looking to throw a party!
R. S.
Expensive but very helpful staff
A. Q.
Nice bar but not the grim hole it used to be which is a shame for all footy fans visiting the capital
M. H.
Great selection of beers on tap and a relaxing roof terrace. Particularly great for after work drinks
C. G.

We Came for a groupon "free flowing prosecco and meat or cheese platter" bought for my best friend's birthday by her delpved sister. After a slightly shaky start(being questioned by a young brunette barmaid as to when the groupon was purchased as there is a limit to the 'free flowing prosecco' if booked after feb. Thankfully Paulo (the amazingly wonderful and customer focused gent that he was) came out to smooth things over and we had a wonderful evening dispite the initial lack of welcome. We love the place, great vibe and just a bus ride away from home in the now trendy Kings X area. A great place to spend or just start an evening. We left suitably drunk, well fed on a basic, but delectable cheese board and slightly drunken after just the right amount of prosecco (although we wonder if at least one or two rounds may have been cava?). Nonetheless a fab evening out and we will most certainly be back as a new 'regular haunt'. Wonderful vibe, good wine selection and great tasting, if basic, cheese platter. Highly recommended (ask for Paulo for best results)
