Not a big fan of Wetherspoons but they don't half come in handy when you're in London. Visited this one before a Chelsea game instead of being ripped off at earls court. Nice and quiet, quick service for food/drink and a pint of Stella for £3.19! Staff friendly, pub clean and decent toilets. A very good pint too.Can't fault it.

At the risk of being a hypocrite, I am not a fan of the owner of 'spoons, that said the staff at the Sir MB are always polite. Never had reason to complain about the quality of lager. The food is competitively priced. Given the price, the quality of food is more than acceptable.

Must be the cheapest beer in London... I paid 7 quid for a small Italian beer in a pizzeria couple days ago. That would be 7 pints of Greene King here unbelievable. Decent pub great decor and not too many old farts if you know what I mean

The staff is always very friendly, but I must highlight that “Beth” is with no doubt one of the best, if not the best, employee in this pub! Had been there for a quick drink. The place is just 5-10 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway station. It’s a nice and cosy place as any other JDW. The drink are really cheap as it’s zone 3 and also because of the winter drinks offer. The good wasn’t that great but was ok. Nice place for a quick drink or bite of around the place.

Came here a couple of nights whilst we have been in London on business, very busy pub and last night after the football was a little dicey. The security work very hard at keeping things under control. Drinks are reasonably priced for London. Overall would visit again when back for our next visit.

A weatherspoons pub. Roomy with decent decor. Great value for money and a decent service. There is also a weatherspoons app so you can order in advance. To give you an example of value for money, Tuesdays is steak day. You can order an 8oz steak meal with a drink for under £9.

I have been many times in this Weatherspoon. Customer services is great, the prices are good. I have to special thanks to Beth one of the staffs, she is lovely and always put attention to even the small details. Any time I am going there I would look for her :-)

Never given a Spoons 3 stars. Mixed Grill was ok apart from my baked potato didn't come with any butter, probably because I had ordered some peppercorn sauce and the mushroom was cold. Nobody asked if everything was ok and nobody came near until I had finished. They had no beer mats. The staff were thin on the ground and some just hung around the bar area.

I'm a big advocate to the wetherspoons group working for them for a while i always defend and advertise how good it is but this one definitely need a revamp and a change in clientele it is a bit rough around the edges but the food was great.

Looks like it was a Restaurant before cos its not like other Wetherspoons I have been to, why is the toilets upstairs? This is no good to me as I am Partially disabled and cannot do Stairs, this is something you need to tell people about, lately am seeing traditional pubs and modern bars like Putney, why you closed the Railway is beyond me.

A very good Wetherspoons for food, they do particularly great breakfasts for this chain pub. The service was excellent, customer service was clearly a priority for them. Newly renovated, it is still a clean and well looked after pub. Still good prices. I highly recommended this place.

Excellent pub. Really nice deco inside with real works (not printed), service is on point and super nice. The outside area is usually crowded on sunny days and might be hard to secure a table there but the inside is well lit and has a distinct atmosphere. If you are just looking for a spot to have a few pints and eat some good food on a weekend, this pub will not let you down.

In here now, great prices, just had the eggs Benedict,a pint of cask is less than £2.50, The world beers are less than £3.50,some of them are 660 ml bottles, very cheap for London, I've had several meals here, and no complaints, nice pub and staff, Directions? From Ealing Broadway tube station, Turn left out of the station,walk to the end of the street, about 40 seconds,then left again down Ealing Broadway,the main Street,past numerous take aways, KFC etc, about a 2 minutes walk across the street from a residential court of flats, you're there ! Recommended, No more expensive than in North England ! Do visit!

Went here for breakfast 1 Thursday morning with my family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food came quickly and to a very high standard. Very clean throughout the pub. As with every wetherspoons pub there is a wide range of drinks on offer. The food was lovely and well worth the money. We thanked the staff and they wished us a nice day. Would definitely return if we were ever in the area.

A lovely friendly neighbourhood Wetherspoon's pub. Serves generous portions has a wide choice of good food and as many cups of coffee of one's choice for the price of one. Great selection of beers, wine and whatever alcohol takes your fancy. Has an outdoor area which caters for both smokers and non smokers. Excellent service. Can't fault this pub in any way.

I've been visiting this pub almost every Thursday for 8 years. Excellent service, great prices and always at least 2-3 guest ales available. How busy the place is can be a little affected by the student calendar, with it being quieter during the holidays and very busy for the weeks either ends of term!

Went out to a pub for the 1st time since lockdown restrictions have been eased and we came here and overall the experience was very pleasant. Queued for about 5 mins to get in but once inside I was taking to a table which was cleaned down right in front of me to ease my worry of any possible germs. Then I could use an app from my phone to order literally anything I required hence not having to queue up at the bar. In my many years of visiting bars this is a positive step in the right direction. Great place for great beer, at a great price. Best in Ealing Broadway. Food is popular and tasty. Love that it is open early, has coffee and breakfast, and reading space. Long before the local library opens. Can get busy, but usually still find a place to relax. Even have table service on an App so you don't have to queue at the bar.

Drink prices are fantastic and their drink promotions are as well. I love going 'Spoons for Fri /Sat night drinks, and this place is no exception. However I recently went for lunch with a work colleague and ordered the Empire State Burger Meal, with normal back bacon replacing the very very bland Maple Cured. When I was served my meal, the "chef" had put raw uncooked bacon in the burger, still fridge cold. Not sure how you forget to cook the bacon.... Anyway they took it back and after 15mins either the same one was returned, with the bacon now cooked or a new one prepared. Who knows. The Guinness I had with it was lovely and was very reasonably priced as well. You can't beat their value for money on drinks that's for sure. The burger though, absoloutely devoid of all flavour and seasoning, how was it possible I asked my colleague. Beef when fried or flame grilled has natural flavour, so the only explanation we agreed is that they have gone for the cheapest supplier who has used cheap/poor quality beef mince to make the patties. I must say though that other customers seemed to all be ordering curries (it was the Curry Club that day) and whilst I can't vouch for the taste, they did smell nice. Still though I imagine it's no better than a Tesco Indian ready meal.

Lovely place, the decor is old fashioned but does look lovely and novle. I really liked the photos in the stairwell spend a good ten minutes admiring them. The staff are well mannered and work fast to serve our drinks in a timely manner, the food was very good too and arrived faster then expected for a weatherspoons pup and the portion size was bigge then expected too! Would recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice meal and a drink with friends or partner.

Visited this spoons after work one day, I am currently based in Ealing at a client. The wife met me here. The place was fairly busy for a week night (about 6pm Thursday ). Had a decent meal with no complaints with the food. The vegan option on curry night is great. The only issue on the night was the order app showed that strongbow dark fruit was out but I could see others ordering it at the bar. Other than that, another good spoons experience.

I know as a fact that they probably don't get so cold because of the big consuming but is something that the manager can handle it.

It's a Wetherspoon pub, you know what you're getting. Reasonable pricing, good service and usually seating even when busy. Not really much to fault in the actual pub, but it's always a choice on whether a Wetherspoon pub is your particular cup of tea (or pint)

Want a pint for £2 this is the place and the beer is good not lesser quality because of the price. Food here well I have simple tastes and value is best in Ealing. Had burger and chips with pint £6.10 that great value in London the chips are very good crispy not soggy and reasonable amount, but personally I think half as much again would be great. Their burger puts Mc Cardboard to shame it looks and tastes like real meat. Plates are, warmed so hot food stays hot nothing as bad as hot food on a cold plate food gets cold quick. Burger could do with little less time on griddle. Also I think they could improve burger by adding chopped parsley and finely chopped onion to it. This is just personal touch I like used to get this back at home in Belfast tasted great. Would have give 5 stars but for no one seems to go round cleaning tables after diners have left, sat down yesterday to a table covered in peas and menus only when lifted menus did I see peas everywhere which I then had to clean up. But for that hiccup it was great value and good food.

I went with a mate for steak night and was left feeling slightly underwhelmed by my meal. I cannot fault the chips, peas, tomato and mushroom. The chips were everything you want in a chip. They were crispy & hot, upon eating my first chip my expectations were raised, the excitement built... if the rest of my meal is up to this standard then I am in for a real treat, I thought. Now for the steak. Wetherspoons prices cannot be faulted and, for the what I'd paid, I wasn't expecting Michelin star-esque piece of meat but it appears the chef's idea of 'medium rare' differed from that of my own, it was definitely more on the 'medium' to 'medium well' side. Compared to steaks I have eaten at other Wetherspoon pubs, I was quite disappointed. Yet I wasn't going to let this ruin my meal, I persevered and (eventually) worked my way through the block of rubber that I had been presented with, before enjoying the rest of the lovely chips. The value & selection of drinks and the friendly, quick service more than made up for this, however and I would highly recommend the Balcon for drinks.

EXCELLENT. I'm here nearly every Sunday with my daughter. At least 2 real ales to my taste, plus 2 or 3 others. I've ALWAYS found the staff to be professional, polite and extremely KIND to older customers: helping people with mobility problems to their seats, for example. The problem with many Wetherspoon reviews is a customer who expects 5-star food at 1-star prices. I'm neither the owner nor a shareholder, by the way. Just an extremely satisfied regular.

I normally have the 14oz rump steak but the last few occasions it has taken the appearance of a fillet stk, more than an inch thick and tough as old boots. The chefs do a good job but they need to tenderise their meats. It only takes 30 seconds.

Approx 5 mins walk from Ealing Broadway tube station. Also very good bus transport on The Mall (the road directly outside the pub) and outside Ealing Broadway station itself. Why other large chains can't be this cheap or have the same large ever changing selection of real/craft ales is a mystery.
