The only too of us order so much amazing food for lunch! We could not have it all 😅 but the candid Gemma help us with the take away boxes and we enjoy it also at dinner time 😊 5 stars to the food and the service

I went there early so there was plenty of seats available. You have to order by the bar. I ordered the Yorkshire pudding wrap with chips. I didn't wait long, again due to not many people there. The wrap was delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was expecting something bigger but it filled the hole. I do wish I received more chips buy they were yummy. The menu is big and alot of food caught my eye so I will definitely go back to try more.

I go there often as I live fairly close. The food is delicious and they have a wide selection of drinks. Also, I am very happy about the price and the service. My favourite staff is Betty, she is always friendly, helpful and fun and makes my visits really pleasant.

We were in London for a few days and it is very sad that you will last years hardly find a typical, ordinary English restaurant with English food. Everything was dominated by international pizza chains and Chinese noodles. Fortunately, we found her here and we were very pleasantly surprised. Consistent food, drink, service, atmosphere and reasonable prices. Great!

I went to the pub with a group of my friends for a night out. I went to the bar and Gemma was very smiley and helpful to us as we didn’t understand the menu. We come to London a few days ago. We came to the pub to watch the champions league. We found this amazing pub which had amazing food and a fantastic vibe. We was greeted at the bar by a lovely lady called Gemma who helped us pick out our menu and drinks and make us feel welcome and make our experience welcoming like a family vibe I highly recommend this place.

I recently popped in here to meet with some friends and was taken back in a good way I am an ex landlord and always fussy but this was nice I was served by a really nice girl called Gemma who was really happy and smiley …. I asked about the deals available and her knowledge was really quite good and prompt service as was busy …. She actually served us a few times and even remembered some of our previous order from the night as it went on … Prices are really reasonable considering some London pricing standards and was made to feel really welcome considering there seemed to be a lot of locals and I wasn’t one … Had a fantastic evening and was really happy Gemma the toilets and the whole feel was great I will defo be back and will spend more time in the future …

As soon as I walked into the pub with my friend, I could see all the tvs showing a variety of sports. We came to the bar and was greeted by a friendly bar person called Gemma. She asked us if we needed some help with the menu and was explaining the different offers and drinks that came with the deals. I explained that I was vegan and Gemma immediately showed me on the menu what was vegan that I could have. Gemma was very helpful and very friendly. I would definitely be coming back

I popped into The Sportsman when I was on my way back from Stansted back to London as I needed a toilet but I saw the selection of beers and a rather very yummy menu and decided to stay for a pint. The place was literally buzzing as there was plenty of sport on all those tv screens. Needless to say after a few pints I was lucky enough to get to meet some of the staff and GM Radek (fellow Polish fella as it happens) and I congratulated him on the quality of the beers and the whole thing really. I will be definitely visiting when I am in Stratford, love the place to bits. Well done guys.

The food was delicious!! We got the pick 5 plates to share!! Except we didn’t share them!! We got the mozzarella, mushrooms, chicken wings, chicken, shrimps. They were all really good especially the mushrooms and shrimps. I think next time I’ll just duplicate those. Overall very friendly service.

Not so good range of drinks but look out for drink deals like 95p pints on Camden beers. Lots of big screens with this stupid game on called soccerball and fat old ex-soccerballers called 'pundits' who talk a lot because they think they know what they're talking about and can't get a proper job

This bar has been completely refurbished. It bright and comfortable, with plenty of booths and high tables. There is a huge selection of beers, wines & spirits. The staff are very efficient and we'll turned out. They are eager to assist. We had several drinks including tea, coffee,soft drinks and some beers. All were perfect. We had a meal while we were there, the chicken wings were hot and crispy, the lunches were delicious and hot. The price is as good as Wetherspoons but the range is better. Big shout out to Radik the manager for his service. Will definitely come again.

Remember this place when it was the goose. Other than then name, it's not really changed much. Still a decent pub. Lots of TV screens so great place to watch live football. Chicken wings are good here as well. Now has pool tables, which are a welcome addition.

Lively spot full of all sorts. Proper pub that gets busy, has karaoke sometimes and shows the sports including the boxing.Quite often see a live punch up in there too so extra entertainment, Sometimes annoyingly has a dross DJ mega early over sports (football/boxing) and sometimes has too few staff on but in general a worthy destination.
