Visited the Spotted Horse yesterday for some lunch with some friends, the pub is really well kept, the decor is really nice and cosy. One of my friends has various intolerances to certain food items and Hannah went out of her way to make sure that he was looked after and well informed about the whole menu, the bar staff were great and all smiling, the manager must be doing their job properly, it was a breath of fresh air to visit a pub where all staff were happy and attentive. Will definitely be back soon.

Very nice food, had the beef roast and it was full of flavour. Could do with some more gravy tho. Lots of seating and good facilities. Food took 40 mins but was worth the wait. Beers were of good quality. Baby changing facilities at the back were good and also clean.

Lovely pub with a significant variety of vegetarian and vegan options. I went for the mushroom Wellington roast, and it was delicious. Everything was very well cooked, without too many spices, making it tasty in its natural form. It came with potatoes, carrots, cabbage and Yorkshire pudding. Good assortment of beers too. It made my day, and I will be going back whenever possible. There is a covered roof terrace if you feel more comfortable dining in ventilated spaces. The pub is cosy and the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Beer was pretty standard. Pub was aesthetically quite nice. However....The music was sooo loud I could not talk to my friends and we were left shouting at each other to have our conversation really ruining the pub experience. The whole pub had a bit of a shouting match. Also was a poor taste in music mix, like a child had taken over Spotify, which didn't suit the type of pub. The tables were also more set up for food than for drinking leading me to think the main purpose of the place is actually for pub lunch rather than a pint.

Nice pub halfway down Putney Street. A surprisingly big pub. Comfortable chairs, plenty of seating, there is a warm atmosphere about the place. I usually go in there after watching Fulham play.. so it gets crowded. Nice staff. Reasonably priced.

Great spot and great service!! I private hired the lovely terrace at the Spotted Horse for my birthday this weekend and it was the best space for me and my friends! There had been a miscommunication in the reservation space but Ross the manager sorted the issue within 10 minutes of us arriving. Thank you 😊😊😊

Really great staff! On a busy Saturday afternoon where most of the tables were booked for the Lions game, we gambled but all of the tables were booked. A lovely member of staff named Hannah offered us to sit at the bar, and if anyone didn’t turn up, we could have their table. It was our lucky day and a table didn’t show and Hannah went out of her way to find us and give us the table (and kept our bar stools behind the bar in case the table showed). Great service and we appreciated the comfy chairs!

We are a party of 6. We booked in for xmas day. We had a friendly greeting and shown to our table. The food and service was good and very little waiting time. It was very comfortable but there was a lot of people walking around without face coverings. It's also dog friendly Now where I come from they do not add a sevice charge on the bill which was £60 in this case . But as it was xmas day and the service was good so I I didnt mind to much. But on any other day I would have refused to pay a service charge. The service charge was an American thing that was introduced to pay the staff . In this country ths staff are on a wage so why are we paying a charge. If I wanted to pay a tip I would like to know that the person serving me is getting the money I am leaving for them and not the owner of the pub or anyone else. I think service charge should be abolished.

The Spotted Horse is big enough to have your own space, and feels like you are at home. Cosy chairs and couches, and high bar stools as well. . Lovely roof terrace. The staff super friendly and efficient. You feel very welcome. Food and drink good value for money (in London) Can't recommend it highly enough. Will be coming back!!!

Popped on last saturday and was greeted by kind and friendly staff. was all seated, drinks came fast, food fast to and was beautiful. Staff banter is legendary.(Billy made us some banging cocktails so big up) Can see they get along super well as a team and creates a real good atmosphere for the pub in general. Would deffo come back again. Best pub on the high street for sure.

We came to this pub accidentally to get out of the rain. So glad we did. Looks small from the outside but it goes a long way back and even has a roof top terrace. Great range of gins. Fabulous, attentive, engaging staff who offered us table service. We declined and drank at the bar. Great find. We’ll be back. Come early as it gets packed in here in the evenings.

We always frequent this pub when we visit our daughter in Putney. Been going regularly there now for a good couple of years and always made to feel welcome by the staff and the management. Food always looks and smells excellent although we've only eaten there a couple of times, mainly because it's always late after doing London tourist stuff. Good location for buses and trains, and the quiz night on Wednesday is excellent, even though we always come last. My wife swears by the Camden Hells !

The decor inside is really nice and clean. A mixture of sofas and bar stools with a small dining area. The food is really nice and the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. It is child/baby friendly and it has a disabled/baby changing facility. There is a beer garden but I didn't go outside so can't comment.

Great range of well kept drinks in this popular and friendly well positioned pub on Putney high street just a few minutes from local bus stops and Putney train station and about a ten minute easy walk from Putney Bridge tube station although buses do run from here to Putney. We visited on a busy Saturday lunch time and the bar service was prompt and efficient.

There is a DJ on a Saturday night that played a good mixture of songs and did some requests for our friend. They did have a lack of non alcoholic options when we visited but this seemed a shock to the barman also so could be a one off.

We booked a table for the quiz. Fun filled quiz and a great night. We didn’t finish anywhere in the top 3 but we won the spot prize of a bottle of wine. The jackpot is insane some weeks. I heard a few weeks back it was £800 plus! We’ll be back next Wednesday to play for the £300 JACKPOT.

Lovely pub great atmosphere but Friday night are an absaloute no go as there is a female bar tender that completely ruins the Friday night experience as she is rude and slightly hostile. ( I offered her a hand with the empty glasses and she quite rudely told mme to put them down and that she'd do it) so I'd suggest Saturday nights as it's aa great pub and the roof terrace is great and all the o her bar tenders are very friendly

One of my favourite pubs. Based on the Putney high street they serve local ale from the local "Young's" brewery. The atmosphere it always good. They do a quiz on Wednesday nights and that's always fun. The interior has a cosy feel to it. The food is very good too. The roasts are top quality. Really good for large groups.

After having had drinks and some snacks in the Spotted horse from 1 pm on Friday 25 January with four of my friends, I needed to pay a visit to the gents lavatory in the basement of the building and I have to tell you that it was so cold down there it was like spending time in an ice box. When I came upstairs again at 2:30 pm I reported this fact to one of the male staff who up until then had given us very good service. In response, he merely shrugged his shoulders indicating he could do nothing about this, so I asked him why he didn't suggest reporting my complaint to the manager. At this juncture, a young female member of staff appeared from somewhere nearby and in an aggressive manner, immediately accused me of not being polite and furthermore wouldn't listen to anything else I had to say. I then returned to my group of friends. However, after a brief pause and apparently not satisfied with this, she then had the audacity to come across to us from the bar and began in an extremely authoritarian manner to harangue us all with more of the same. I told her she was very aggressive and left by myself shortly afterwards. My group of friends and I have decided we will not be returning to your very nice and thoroughly comfortable pub while this young woman is employed there. If she normally deals with customers in this manner she is most definitely in the wrong job. It's a great pity because up until that point we had been enjoying ourselves in this most attractive pub and which I had now been re-visiting after having spent time in it regularly on Saturday evenings during the 1980s.

A fantastic refurbished pub with plenty of space, atmosphere, and an outdoor terrace. Otherwise a pretty standard pub with good food and a decent beer selection. You'll find exactly the sort of British ales and lagers you'd expect to find, with a few craft options rotated through a couple of guest taps. Beavertown and Fourpure can be found in fridges behind the bar. Unfortunately the bar can be a little slow swapping out taps, and has a habit of displaying options long after discontinuing the offer, without any visual indication.

A refurbished pub, with modern wooden floors and a combination of high tables and chairs, as well as comfy armchairs and sofa's to create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. There is also standard tables and chairs at the rear for dining. Beers on tap are by Youngs, with a good selection of wines and spirits. Will be a regular visitor.

Great old pub, lost much character after the refurb, shame about the etched glass 'modesty' panels going and the downstairs windows being replaced (used to be like those still on first floor frontage) but it still feels welcoming. Those complaining about price have a point but unless you only drink in Wetherspoons that's what you pay now. My local is more expensive and All Bar One even worse. Food's not bad but also not cheap, had two excellent meals and one disappointing, but the Young's Ordinary is well kept, fresh, fruity and hoppy, just as it should be. Overall a comfortable and friendly watering hole.

Probably my favourite pub in Putney for catching up with friends and having food. The chef in The Spotted Horse is fantastic, we have never had a bad meal, they have all been outstanding. Great choice of lagers/ales on tap which always helps too!

Unfortunately this pub was. In my opinion is spoilt some years ago when it was refurbished and although it still retains a certain amount of character some of this has been lost. Like a all other Young pubs it is now very expensive which is a pity that as Young pubs used to offer good value at reasonable prices.
