G. C.Sunday roast sadly had no chicken!! It was pork or lamb by what I can remember. So I decided to go for the chicken burger instead. Had my heart set on chicken dinner. It’s self service go to the bar and order, no table service. Nice old vibe of the building, two floors for customers. Good Sunday drinks and good.
V. G.Gorgeous, huge selection of craft beers. Slightly lacking in customer service - the beers are not labelled on the pumps so when I asked what they had a stern finger simply tapped on a menu in front of me and rolled their eyes. If this is such a common occurrence maybe put up a menu on the wall? Or just a sign that says “look at the menu”. Otherwise delightful pub.
M. T.Went there for my friends birthday. First we had karaoke them we jumped on the dancefloor. Friendly stuff and nice atmosphere. Cool, young people around. Nice place for a night out.
S. M. T. L.We just held our engagement party at the STAR, organised from abroad where we live. We had the BEST night. Thanks so much to the incredibly accomodating STAR team, the manager and bar tenders were really amazing and pulled out all the stops, above and beyond, to make sure our night was a success. They helped us source drinks that weren't on their menu, managed requests from abroad and were just so on it, and stoked for us having a good time. The venue was the perfect location - amazing vibes, the decor was spot on, and the kareoke was the cherry on top: it was an incredible party that we and all our friends will never forget! Thanks for the perfect night and once more to the brilliant staff.
A.Some stuff were really friendly and hard working, some seemed not bothered but the bar was very busy. The DJ that came later on in the night was really good. Nice crowd of people too.

M. C.Really nice pub. Beautiful decor, went on a Sunday lunchtime and it was surprisingly quiet. Really nice choice for a relaxing Sunday pint and lunch.
I had a roast beef bun and it was basically a roast dinner sandwich, which was amazing. Rare roast beef, horseradish, root veg mash and rocket. All the best things.
Highly recommend this pub.
