Reviews of The Swan, Hyde Park
F. W.
The food is really nice at this pub. One of the best burgers I've ever had in a restaurant and the brownie with the ice was Soo good. I really enjoyed eating here. Mark, the condition told me two beer sorts I've never heard of, but they were really good. Also the other staff ist really nice and friendly.
An restaurant to visit again.

❤️ The Swan Hyde Park, a busy historic pub ready to quench the the thirst of many a Hyde Park visitor.
.
The Swan was the busiest pub I had visited on my crawl across the North end of Hyde Park, this is probably due to its location and that it also sits on the ever busy Bayswater Road. There has been a pub on this site since 1721 and it is said that this was the last place criminals had their last drink on the way to be hung at the Tyburn Tree just down the road at now Marble Arch. The box seat to get when you visit here is the patio space out the front as this space was the busiest and had a buzzy atmosphere. I was with my sister and my brother in law on this crawl and they remarked that this pub was very much geared up to cater for the many visitors to the area. Inside you can see that a lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of this pub with the various murals, wood panelling and the many pictures across the walls. Overall, this pub felt like a nice environment to spend some your time in. There is a elegant dining room upstairs which leads to a balcony overlooking Hyde Park, this was hired out on the day of visiting. The service was swift enough and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and £5.55 for a pint was average for the area.
.
The Swan Hyde Park is a decent boozer with some nice features which is set in a great location.
.
📊 Information correct on visiting 13/11/21

Had the best night out in a very long time yesterday.. ‘Swan night only’ was just fabulous, entertaining & just the right level of naughty .. drinks, staff & venue were all perfect. Thank you for making us all a little bit ‘camp’ for the night darlings !
B.
Good pub close to hyde park and elizbeth hotel the food and drink was so lovely would recommend this place for tourists like myself and locals
I. B.
Very good food with a very nice vibe. The food was good and the service was fast. They’re not pet friendly / dogs not allowed inside. Unfortunately not everything on the menu was available but was I had was good.
R. W.
Friendly and spacious traditional pub with good ale selection. Plenty of covered outdoor seating. Food looked good.
E. L.
Very nice little pub , decent prices wonderful food . Will have to stop back here before I return home
s. w.
Very nice traditional looking pub. Nice selection of Fullers ales.
F. S.
It’s a nice pub, in front of Hyde Park, with tables outside and an amazing terrace with great view of the park (which was closed due to social distancing policies). Selection of beers is good but the only problem was the staff. One of the staff member was not friendly but maybe not all of them is like this one. I didn’t had food so I’m not write about it. I’d come back to this pub in a sunny warm day sitting outside on the terrace facing the park having a nice cold beer.

At Our visit the staff was very friendly. You can sit Outside or indoors on two Levels. The waiter Took Our Order very quickly, even though IT was full at the time. Also the food came fairly Soon after. The Cheeseburger tasted good and was Well done. Overall We enyoed Our stay at the Pup and would recommend it.

Casual, relaxed open air dining in a restaurant first licensed in 1721, but kept up to date on amenities. Great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner after touring the city. The patio and balcony seating under the trees are especially nice. Authentic British cuisine which all was delicious.
S. R.
Nice pub, great Guiness good burger.
I was being ultra stingey giving my original 3 stars, probably hungover!! So I've changed it to 4!!
G. G.
A very good place to eat or to just stop and have a beer. The place is very warm and the staff is kind and friendly (at least... in my experience). The food is very well prepared and we especially appreciated the dessert: brownie with the salted caramel ice cream. Prices are in line with the other pubs in the area.
E. G.
A proper little pub with such big history! Dates back to at least 1721. We had this place in mind after my family mentioned they were here, too, back in 1981 and ended up walking right by! Stopped in for a pint (and missed the food, but the fish and chips looked great!) on our way to dinner. Atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside but the upstairs dining room is decidedly charming. Can’t wait to go back! Cocktail party fact: “one for the road” and “on the wagon” are credited to come from here, as it was a stop for jailers before taking prisoners to the gallows for the end of the line ...
C.
The waiters were just awesome! Went with my mums almost every night for a week and they were super friendly. Will come back definitely! 😁
m. t.
Great pub in a brilliant location. Gets busy in tourist season but the staff work hard to ensure everyone gets treated well. Good range of drinks and traditional food.
P. M.
A few years since I had been there and was very surprised at the major changes that have been made to the interior of this old and very famous pub, next door to Marble Arch and dating back hundreds of years.
I reserve judgment on these interior changes for now but I'm glad to say that the front of house has not changed and lots of tables and seats are still welcoming locals and Tourists to a front row view of Hyde Park and a very busy but interesting experience of Bayswater road and a special piece of London History. Again I say, Carpe Deum.
A. C.
BEST YORKSHIRE PUDDING EVER!! The lads there were wonderful and their service was amazing. When we went to grab a pint of a certain ale and there wasn't enough to fill the whole glass, it was on the house! I definitely recommend going there on a Sunday for their roasts. 👌🏻
C. i. H.
Really nice pub with a beer garden facing Bayswater Road. We visited on a hot day after walking for miles in Hyde Park and really enjoyed the air conditioned interior and cold drinks. The pub was very clean and the staff were professional and friendly. I'll definitely visit again soon.
T. B.
Ok, pub and a friendly warm welcome. Music was really good and the place nice and buzzy.
L. W.
Attracted into this place because it was always packed in the evening. So tried breakfasts there. The Egg Benedicts were nicely cooked and better than the traditional breakfast, in my opinion. Service was good, very friendly.
S. V.
Big selection of beer, food came out quick even tho it was busy. Chicken wings with blue cheese dressing was incredible. Omg. Really good
S. G.
The food was Very good and Stefano, Ricardo and Cef were nice !!! I have had a great Time, Thank you ! I ll come back
J. S.
Perfectly good place to enjoy a drink when in London, all was fine for us.
Update Dec 2019: we called in for Sunday Lunch. Excellent service and food, well worth a star upgrade.
D. I.
After a long walk through the beautiful Hyde park, my friends and I found this cute little place. It is really nicely decorated, but we sat outside in the garden because it was beautiful day. The service was very hard tried and friendly. The food there was pretty good too. A nice packed lunch. Recommendable!
C. R.
Their food is delicious, the drinks are great...and the service is wonderful. Go here and enjoy. We went here 3 nights in a row!
M. F.
This is usually close to our hotel, so we have been here several times, just a couple of beverages and fish and chips. This is a proper British Pub, and stuff is nice and friendly. Perhaps we see again in spring...
P. T.
Excellent fish and chips with a wide selection of beers.
I like this review on TripAdvisor: "Nice and cosy old pub of Londen
We thought we will just drink a coffee after our walk in the Kensington Gardens but a few hours later we were stil there. A very nice place, nice people and delicious Fish and Chips. Thank you, we will be back the next time in London."
B.
Perfect location jut off Hyde Park in Westminster. Cozy restaurant/pub with a small but good menu. Craft beer on tap and friendly wait staff. The fish and chips with mushy peas were the best I’ve had in London.
T. L.
Very nice Pub in a strategic position! If you want a beer around Hyde Park close to Italians Garden, that's the place! They have a nice garden as well
D. B.
Great, friendly pub with a very good range of beers. The main road can be a bit noisy, if you're sat outside, but it's also opposite Hyde Park.
M. H.
Highly recommend. Great service and kind staff. Food tastes good, and the cappucino surprisingly tasted really good ( didn’t expect it as it is more a pub than coffee shop☺️) . Definitly coming back soon
m. w.
I found this place by coincidence wondering around for just some sandwich. We pop in with the gears and straight away found a table.
At the beginning we though that was a bit pricey, but we was absolutely wrong. The portions was abundant the taste great and the staff provide us with extremely friendly service!
On top of that, both floors and the terrace are pleasant and clean. Love this place, looking forward to come back.
A. G.
I had one of the best fish and chips I've tasted, well done for the team, the guy who served us, perfect, everything good, Don't give 5 stars because the lady who attends behind the counter is so rude and bitter, that she must learn to make clients more comfortable, she could have ruined our day, but the food and waiters were incredible
D. W.
Lovely venue with a nice selection of food and drink. Didn't stay for long, but was made to feel welcome.
I. M.
The Swan....... Beautiful traditional London pub. Staff were absolutely lovely with very reasonable priced drinks and food which was delicious. Visited on my birthday so thank you to Sebastian and the morning team for making our stay so wonderful!!
Recommended if you're near Hyde Park as a great stop off.
C.
Great food an good beer and cider
M. M.
I fell in love with this restaurant from the outside and the food and service did not disappoint! Hands-down the best fish & chips I had while traveling the UK and I always make a point to have dinner here at least once every time I'm in London.
C. L.
Good drink and atmosphere. Busy as it was Christmas party times and only small section of pub was open to the public
B. B.
Nice pub, good food and very friendly staff. Great people and car watching spot! Well worth a visit.
D. d. l. d. s.
I love this pub, the staff is really friendly and the food is really nice !
L. E.
Tasty food, friendly service, and warm, lively atmosphere. I had the steak pie (photo), and my husband got the Sunday roast beef special (overcooked for my liking, but he was happy to get gluten-free gravy!) Would definitely go back.
V. V.
Had a great time with my friend on visiting London in March. Excellent food and beer. See you soon
a. h.
Convenient place to have a drink in the evening. Food choice limited and, our fault we know , we paid a tip twice as we hadn't noticed gratuity included . Not the friendliest pub we have visited
D. B.
This pub is the cleanest pub in London the service is brilliant the beers they have on offer is excellent the food was also excellent would definitely recommend this place I will be going back again soon
B. H.
I had reservations for St. Patrick’s Day because I thought it would be a smart idea and thought it would be busy. The reservation worked just perfect, but the the pub wasn’t that busy when we arrived. I guess better safe than sorry, especially since it was our first night in London and we were tired and hungry from a long day of traveling from Seattle.
Our server, sorry didn’t catch his name, was great and checked on us thoroughly. I ordered the Steak and London Pride pie with mash, and my sister ordered the fish and chips. Both were wonderful and hit the spot! We shared the banoffee cheesecake and it was the perfect thing to top off our dinner.
Thank you TheSwan Pub!
N. R.
Nice enough pub, only popped in for a quick pint.no food, would have given it 5 * if the beer was free :))
D. K.
Nice place 👍 Quick service 👍 We ordered fish and chips. Chips was crunchy and fish was well coocked. Crunchy outside, tender inside 👍 portion was fair check the photo 👍 and last but not least the price was £14 👎
S. M.
Only popped in for a pint with my son after a walk through the park. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pub was spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommended 👌
M. L.
Food was great. There is no kid’s menu but my two split the cheese burger. I told the staff they were going to split the meal and they had it cut and on two plate when it came out. All the food was great.
J. E. S. R. C.
I really liked and the place is so nice.
t. g.
Lunch Reunion with colleagues from 20 years ago. Outside table .. good enough service and Pub Grub! Nice choice of real ales and other drinks.
Handy for Lancaster Gate Tube.
My only negative comment is that it a long walk upstairs for a pee! After the seal was broken ( 3rd pint! ) I was up and down the stairs non stop ... as were other aging drinkers.
A. P.
Food and beer! Fish and chips was good way more than I ever expected!
Recommended!!
j. y.
Very friendly staff pleasant pub meno not very extensive.
H. P.
Where I inhaled the true meaning of the English Pub in 2003. The ale, food, upstairs entertainment, cheery blokes and people from so many nations mingling and singing their homeland music. A place to revisit.
C. D.
Absolutely phenomenal fish and chips. You won't be disappointed here.
L. F.
Was ok, not a great choice of non meat lovers. Staff were lovely
D. K.
Price of food very reasonable. Wont break the bank. Went for the safe option of fish and chips. I must be honest and say the fish was overcooked. Went chewy and wasnt the best.
P. M.
Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, beautiful place, all in all would recommend.
Y. P.
One of the best pubs near Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. A minute from Lancaster Gate underground. Good front garden on a sunny day. The upstairs terrace was great before the pandemic, hopefully it will be open again soon 🙏
V. N.
Great place to have a beer. Staff was very friendly and courteous.
E. F.
The food really aren’t great but the location is so convenient
M. V.
Great food and ambiance.
January 2006 - my friend and I met this guy and his son at the pub "The Swan.” They were from New Zealand, but have been to Auburn, NY. It really is a small world after all.
K. D.
The staff in this pub were ON IT. I've noticed many pubs can't quite get the hang of table service however The Swan managed to serve a large group of us with ease. The order would go through on an iPad, someone else at the bar started doing the drinks while the woman serving was taking payments. Incredibly efficient and friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating out the front and the pub is large so social distancing is fine.
Prices are average London prices, the pub is clean and the loos are decent. The decor and lighting is also lovely. A real fireplace in the corner so it would be cosy in winter! The staff were so good she even asked if the temperature in the pub was okay for us because we'd come in looking like drowned rats!
J.
Nice pub with a good outdoor area, however the food was disappointing for the price. Me and a friend both got the chicken burger which was not great at all, and also small. Fish and chips looked pretty good and also a good selection of beers
j. a.
Nice place, plenty of space outdoor and upstairs and good selection of drinks.
S. M. B.
Very nice place..

You have to go..impossible to miss this place
A. S.
Lovely pub great food and enjoy a pint or anything you like after a long stroll I gardens across the road
S. B.
Great place! Nice workers, tasty food, and clean bathrooms.
B. C.
I loved the fish & chips!!! And they were so efficient with their service! Great place to eat.
M. C. D.
Not bad in here, nice beer and good food which is reasonably priced for a pub close to Queen.
M. F.
It was a lovely place to visit and eat. Their fish and chips are well worth it.
B. V.
Amazing fish and chips! Great ciders as well. This is our favorite restaurant.
E. M.
Had a Sunday roast .Found it really tasty with plenty of veg .Will be going again
G. O.
Good beer great atmosphere and staff just found it and one of my favourites I'll be going back
E. H.
As far as pubs go, you can't get much better than this. Great location overlooking Hyde Park and its sufficiently screened from the main road with lovely shrubs and bushes that it's not too noisy at all. I'd give five stars but I didn't try the food so I can't quite justify that high a rating! Prices are a little steep but that's to be expected in the area
A. S.
Very nice place indeed with good food after a day of shopping
X. O.
Nice pub. Good food and kindly service
R. L.
Nice, friendly locals pub just off Hyde park. Seems to be popular with good vibes.
D. K.
It's been about 2 years since our trip to London for this Canadian. Stayed in a hotel just a short walk around the corner from the pub. I still yearn constantly for a nice plate of The Swan Fish and Chips. During our 2 week stay, we couldn't get ourselves to eat anywhere else after our first taste on evening #1. Ate that meal 12 out of 14 times. Brilliant atmosphere and very fine suds on tap. Lovely chaps behind the bar. Absolutely cannot wait to go back and do it all again.
r. s.
Great pub. Very social with staff that are very accommodating. Young management team.
G. R.
Nice pub, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
R. K.
Good location, and nice area to sit out in. My only gripe would be they need make sure they need fill the beer to the pint mark.
P. P.
Great beer and fish and chips. Staff was very friendly.
G. a. H.
Good food and helpful staff at The Swan. Nice area across from Hyde Park. Visited London, U.K. May 2019
e. (.
Warm cosy atmosphere., lots of areas to eat there..food tasty & wholesome..had amazing fish pate there with sourdough bread..hubby had the roast & Yorkshire pud', we also.had fish & chips there..all good..The fecorations outside made The Swan an inviting retreat from the piercing cold..but beautiful area around Hyde Park in London..
A. “. G.
Held an engagement party here. They were super flexible and catered to our needs. The Garden Room is gorgeous too.
M. D.
Staff were friendly and drinks are priced for the area. Atmos was warm and cosy, and the food was nice but quite expensive for pub grub.
There wasn't a lot of social distancing as all of the tables were in service. But the restrooms were kept in a very good condition, which is rare for pubs.
The bill also included a service charge which I was surprised by but I understand due to external circumstances happening at the moment.
M. J.
fish batter was rock hard rest of the meal good
I. S.
Great pub with amazing history. Staff could benefit from being more knowledgeable and helpful. We had dinner here and were given their standard menu to choose our food from. They had some vegan and vegetarian options, but not many. And only after having our dinner and just before leaving the pub, we've noticed the notice board near the main bar with their 'today's special' vegan dishes... Why was that not mentioned to us at the time when we were deciding what order, is a mystery! Also when paying the bill, they had an option to donate some money to the charity, when I asked what charity was the collection for, the waiter had no idea.
The live music on a Friday night was fantastic! Great selection of ales. The dining room & the balcony upstairs looked very cosy and romantic, however both were closed when we visited in January 2020.
Y. T.
Bog standard 5-10 pub. Everything about this pub is ok. Although it does have a decent rooftop. It's basically a wetherspoons but it's better, because it's not a wetherspoons, if you get what I mean.
J. H.
A little pricey, but a nice atmosphere and friendly efficient staff
R. M.
Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Great service
P.
Great old fashioned pub.. loved it 🍻
M. D.
Awesome pub! With great vibes
Everyone are so nice!!
J. F.
Great pub right on the edge of Hyde park! It was right around the corner from our hotel so we popped in here several times on our London vacation. The beer selection is great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and came out quickly (we had the fish and chips!). Live music in the evening was a nice addition too. We'll be back next time we are in London!
m. w. (. t.
Great beer you need to get crisps lots of them !!
J. S.
A good decent pub. The food was OK (if a tad better or a tad cheaper it would get 5 stars), the venue was clean and well maintained. Good selection of drinks too!
Edit: Replying to the response below, if all your food is fresh then you may need a word with your chef, as those chips tasted like they were from frozen - and that's one example.
I understand if your prices are due to rent/location etc.. and therefore you can't lower them. However for the price vs quality I can't give a 5 star.
A 4 from me means above average... So don't think I'm being overly negative 😁
P. D.
Local pub right next to the hotel, so good for a few beers
C. C.
Been there a couple of times now, once for work xmas party - they had live music which was fun. The other time we dropped in after a walk in the park. I enjoyed my fullers staff discount both times! Great staff in there and the usual quality ales and beers!
d. b.
Good food great bèer friendly staff.
A. C.
Delicious food, excellent customer service.
T. H.
The pub was very lively and crowded for mid-week. I had to wait at the bar for a bit until a table opened up but the bartender was pleasant and helpful. They had a nice selection of beers and the fish and chips was great. There was an open mic/comedy show situation happening upstairs that I spotted as well.
N. B.
Decent fish & chips. Small selecetion of beer. 4 stars for the friendly staff
G. E.
Great place
Watch out for the price of double gin & tonics though
S. A.
Traditional comfortable pub with outside area.
T. N.
Good pub food, but a little pricey for what you get. We ordered the hamburger. It was very small with only a few chips and it was £12.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Go for an early dinner because it gets busy fast around 1800 and on.
The atmosphere was cosy, clean, and not too noisy. However, we did sit upstairs and it was not full of customers, yet.
C. L.
Great pub to be able to sit out across to Hyde Park whilst drinking a great pint of Fullers London Pride
J. C.
Friendly and efficient staff. Good value food with no disappointments. Excellent range of dishes and beers. Atmospheric London as the building dates from 1721 and has kept its character. Good range of age groups and people coming in. All peaceable.
C. M.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Reasonably priced.
C. J.
Great place for a quiet drink, Excellent atmosphere.
A. K.
Stopped here before visiting Kensington Palace, nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone - young, old or family.
A. D.
Decent food, decent prices on wine bottles, especially for its location! Very friendly staff and quick service. Round a great experience. More food options would have been nice.
刘.
it’s wonderful! Foods and drinks all wonderful!
H. H.
Found by accident as was near a hotel I was staying at for work. Food menu limiting but looked nice. Tried to get table upstairs but was told was fully booked and that that they were only opening half the tables up that night.
There were only 2 of us and there were 12 tables unfilled. Bit disappointed. However stayed for drinks down stairs and atmosphere was chilled.
Staff super friendly down stairs and fast serving at bar.
H. H.
Good food staff very polite helpful and friendly went a few times while in the area recommend
S. S.
Absolutely fabulous! Fish and chips was amazing not to mention their beer selection. The staff was extremely welcoming not to mention the menu prices were not out of this world. Highly recommend you spend an evening in this pub., relax and enjoy the ambiance. Look forward to coming back and highly recommend to anyone.
N. M.
Amazing pub!
This was my first time and my family's first time in an English pub. The staff were very kind and the service was amazing. The meals were cooked very well and my family enjoyed every dish they ordered.
The location of the pub was amazing as we were able to take a nice stroll at the Kensington Gardens after having such a delicious meal.
I would highly recommend this Pub to anyone and I will definitely be returning here the next time I take a trip to the UK.
G. H.
Perfect! Good food and happy smiling straff! I highly recommendthe fried breaded breaded halloumi!
C. C.
Lovely staff and live music
A. M.
Typical English pub, nice comfortable food and great beers. Is the right place for to start your evening!
S. L.
Nice pub on bayswater road. The history Behind the pub was very interesting the pub is known for where the public stopped on the way to marble arch for the execution.
최.
Very good!!!!!! Best original pub and also nice fish & chip!
j. b.
This pub is within a few minutes of our hotel so popped in for last drink of night. Good atmosphere with outside seating and a great area upstairs with terrace which would be lovely in the summer though not on a very windy evening in February!
A. R.
One of my favorite places in London. Anytime I return to this glorious city, or have friends or family going to London - visiting The Swan is a must!
J. P. B. (.
Amazing Pub just across from Hyde park. Just enjoy a Fuller with some good music.
p. c.
Terrific pub, good selection of beers and a brilliant manageress, thank you Andrea
S. T.
We had a nice dinner out on the upper deck. Atmosphere and service were great. We enjoyed the fun selection of local craft beers! Food could have been a little better, but still hit the spot. Menu was a little small, but I would definitely come back for the beer and great atmosphere on the deck.
T. W.
This place was fantastic. Only had a short stay in London, but this place had the best food from my whole trip. The service was great and my husband and I very much enjoyed our meals. Fish and chips for me (literally the best I've had in the world) and a turkey and ale pie for my husband. We'll be back here the next time we're in London for sure.
G. J.
Our server was Jackie, the fish and chips was enormous and very tasty. We got our food quickly and plenty on time to get our train. ... The pub is very nice in front of Hyde park. Nice atmosphere.
E. E.
Lovely location opposite the park with ample outside seating but with a limited dining menu.
S. H.
Stumbled across the pub after walking round Kensington Gardens. A quiet oasis served with a great southern comfort and lemonade!
D. Z.
Good choice for a casual pub meal and a pint, right across from Hyde Park. A group of seven of us went on a Friday night and had maybe a 30 minute wait for a couple of tables. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which came up quickly. I had the pork sausages with mashed potato and crispy leeks, and tried a companion's cream of broccoli and stilton soup. Both were really quite good. Friendly service.
J. A.
A pint of Guinness and bacon flavoured crisps hit the spot after a visit to the Serpentine Gallery.
Comfortable and understated local.
G. U.
This place gives you a traditional English Pub vibe. It was raining hard and we decided to take shade in their outdoor patio and happened to see the menu which looked very interesting.
Went in and decided to have lunch and drinks there. The people were very welcoming and friendly. My child spilled our water and almost instantly a staff came to clean it up and replaced our water with a smile.
We only ordered one dish (Liver) initially to share and they were fine with it, it was really tasty. Then we decided to order the pot pie, then beer then dessert which was the toffee pudding. Everything was tasty and the price was a bit on the high side but still manageable. The dishes and the service were also worth it too.
The restrooms were clean and spacious and even has a diaper changing table.
Overall, we loved the place and we are very happy we stumbled upon it.
A. T.
I don't normally leave reviews for pubs but our Friday evening experience in the Swan was spectacular! I'd really like to commend the Romanian waiter who served us - he was the sweetest, most genuine and attentive waiter. Their vegan options in the bar menu were very limited so they allowed our vegan friend to order from the restaurant menu. Of course, on top of the service, the food was great and the drinks were fabulous!
G. W.
Average pub, friendly staff and reasonable prices for London. Food was basic pub grub. E.g. fish and chips okay but vegetarian meals very poor such as a small portion of veg curry served with no rice and half a nan bread.
P. D.
Food, staff and beers are great! Stayed around the corner ate here twice will be back before we leave. It is the true definition of a pub. A public house for gathering. This place is always busy. Be patient the staff will take care of you.
D. G.
Its ok Pub.
Not many places open yet.
They want you to order via the app.
Good selection of Beers.
R. A.
Great English pub, enjoined a pint with fish and chips. So nice😊
J. D.
The pub's upstairs function room was used for a large retirement party. The Fullers beer was good as indeed was the food provided. The room has been refurbished and it worked well. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Nice views over Hyde Park.
M. F.
Traditional English Pub. Great place, good environment and food. Try the burger, is it very good.
a. m.
Very nice... But in a very busy road.... WC is a long way upstairs !
D. H.
Great selection of ales. Lovely old pub with friendly staff. Worth a visit!
M. H.
We visit the Swan every trip to London. It's a wonderful pub with fantastic food. The location it right off Hyde Park, and they have a great selection of Fuller's real ales. It's on my do not kiss list, especially on a sunny day where you can sit outside. Be sure to try the meat pie. My favorite.
T. G.
Great selection of beers and wines , Great service and spotlessly clean, Covid protocol excellent, definitely recommend, my local whilst in London 👍
R. A.
A nice low key pub with lots of space to have a seat and gather with friends. The pub staff were warm and welcoming and the food was of good quality.
We particularly appreciated the pub because it allowed our group, who hadn't seen each other in years, to catch up without shouting over loud music and crowd noise.
J. H.
Live music on a Friday night, can't go wrong, lovely pub
T. W.
Outdoor seating both on the ground floor and first floor as well as plenty of indoor seating.
Friendly staff reasonably priced drinks. They do server food but I didn't look at the food menu on this occasion.
Easy disabled access from street level.
Nearest tube Lancaster Gate, 10 minutes from Paddington Station (I am a quick walker).
The pub is ideally situated opposite Hyde Park, great place to meet friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoy.
C. T.
A must visit place if you are looking for a bite and a drink near Hyde Park. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food is very good (I had the lamb shank). They have an extensive gin menu and I had probably the best gin and tonic I have ever had (Whitley Neil Rhubarb & Ginger Gin w/ Mediterranean Tonic).
L. V. (.
Delicious, cozy, great location. Ordered beetroot salad and bacon cheeseburger, both VERY good. Staff friendly and quick. The fish and chips looked good as did the appetizer sampler.
N.
Great pub good service good food
H. W.
Very nice spot for refueling after hours of exploring Hyde Park on foot. Food and drink is a bit pricey, still less than other places nearby. Only complaints: crowded most of the day so quite noisy and the starlings are obnoxious. Our meals there were very good.
W. T.
Food is OK with nominal price but service is uncomfortable.
t. r.
Had lunch in the up stairs restaurant and what a fabulous experience it was, me and my partner both had the fish and chips and boy it was good!!! Great service from a young British gent who was our host and waiter. Great day and fantastic pub in the heart of London.
H. J.
Cosy and inviting, this well located pub just a few feet away from Hyde Park Italian Gardens, has excellent, food, drinks and wonderful atmosphere. The staff members are quick, efficient, extremely polite and very obliging.
A. P.
what a fabulous pub this is!! Was there yesterday for the England match. Totally stifling heat and packed solid. But the bar staff were serving quickly and efficiently and also finding time to join in with the atmosphere. Was a fantastic effort. So impressed I had a brilliant time thank you all 😙
T. G.
I ate and drank here about a year ago and thought it was decent. Went back today and really had a good experience. A very friendly woman helped me (vs. a kind of surly guy last year) and the food was excellent. The beer was also great. Oliver’s (something I can’t remember) golden ale was excellent. It’s a very comfortable place. I’d go there again.
C. W.
A very accommodating pub - we booked a drinks area for 25 people on a busy Saturday night and were catered for no problem with no deposit! The added bonus was that there was live music that Saturday night which added to a great atmosphere for celebratory drinks!
S. D.
Great atmosphere and location but food very average. Luke warm tinned mushy peas, soggy chips but fabulous haddock! Portion size small for the money, especially burger. Waiting staff good in dealing with customers but just need to smile! Bar staff great.
A. A.
Great fish & chips and nice atmosphere.
L. W.
Called in the swan several times during a trip to London. Thought it was a great place with live music Friday and Saturday. Food being served looked delicious.
However, a visit last thing on the Sunday was very disappointing. Last orders rang at 10.20 , after being served with 2 pints was told only five to ten minutes drinking up time allowed. Staff advised they needed to be done, dusted and out of the door by eleven, as staff only paid till then. I had thought the staff efficient prior to this but never seen efficiency like it when staff needed to be gone by 11. Rather spoiled the ambience!
J. H.
The food is quite good and the surroundings very much what you would expect from a pub/restaurant in London. The (started that day) waitress did not know the dishes or drinks well but was still quite friendly. Have to catch their attention when they're busy.
M. T.
Called in recently for a sandwich and a drink with my wife. We were visiting and not sure of what to drink. Our waitress Jackie said as it wasn't too busy that she would bring beer tasters. Ended up having a lovely fish finger chiabata with a session IPA. Have another two days here, will be back.
N. T.
Amazing place! Definitely will visit again!
N. R.
Had a meal with family here, lovely restaurant upstairs, garden Room looking over road to Hyde Park. The menu was not comprehensive but nice bar menu with fish and chips, pies etc. Then went downstairs to the bar for drinks, some interesting Gins and Tonics, good live music, fantastic atmosphere, had a lovely evening here. For those that like it quieter, there were other seating areas including large outside paved and covered area.
M. S.
Fantastic pub in a great location with a good selection of drinks and live music! However the food is ludicrously overpriced; For £9 I expected more than 3 unseasoned wings in some barbecue sauce, unfortunately it's a similar story for the Nacho's, hummus and pita. The squid however was delicious, albeit also massively overpriced. Great for a nice drink, but definitely not up to par on the food for a gastro pub.
L. F.
Cool pub but needs to be aerated
L. C.
This pub provides a warm welcoming environment and is neatly designed. Located in a prime location near Hyde Park and the Lancaster Gate station it is a great stop off point for visitors. There is a cosy inn feel to the place. If you like live music they have musicians that provide entertainment during weekend evenings. There is a good selection of beverages and it is reasonably priced for the area. There is a good crowd and during the festive, it is particularly well presented. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
C. W.
Great pub!! Food looks and smells great. Gutted I'd already had my breakfast 10 minutes before.
Cracking selection of beers. Peroni, Amstel and San Miguel all on tap and 3 of my favourites.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly + chatty staff.
T. r.
Great times! Good walking distance from where we stayed in Kensington. Enjoyed the cocktails, beer & fish and chips! Fun environment. Closed at an early hour!
S. B.
Excellent in every way!! Arranged a party of 18 coming from all over Europe for an evening meal with Andrea, who was really helpful and responsive. The staff were friendly, attentive, the food and drink was great and a fabulous night was had at a fantastic traditional London pub!!
Just wanted to say a massive thank you!!
Cheers,
Stuart
A. S.
Great food, great staff
J. M.
Another Fuller's pub with an excellent range of their beers including the wonderful ESB. Far enough away from the centre to be a little quieter. My only suggestion is that the large restaurant often has loads of space whilst the bar could do with more space. Time to equal it out a bit?
J. D.
We've been there several times with my wife. This pub could be/should be a perfect place. It's well situated: in front of Hyde park. The pub itself is nice and pleasant. The terrace is large and heated. All the members of the staff have been very cool and friendly, except one man. One of the barmen did'nt want to serve me the beer I wanted : he became nearly unpolite because I did'nt want the beer he suggested (telling me I 'd better drink water). We left the pub before having dinner as we had first planed:. we were furious because of this rude attitude. Excepted this "rooster", every thing will please you at "The Swan"
L. B.
Great beer garden out the front, service was amazing - the team here are so helpful and friendly. If you need some food as well, the bar food was good value and tasty!
A. T.
Lovely pub, great location.
A. B.
Delicious Full English Breakfast and lovely service.
S. E.
Good pub, excellent vibe inside and outside
P. H.
Always welcoming. My wife and I stay at the Hotel around the corner from the Swan, once a year near Christmas and always visit this place. They have fantastic food and drink and a great atmosphere.
P. K.
Was visiting from the US and came across this place. The food was good, portions were medium to large. They also had a good selection of beers. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the night.
T. S.
Good service
K.
Good pub for a drink.
S. R.

Z. C.
Nice classical british pub
A. N.
Staff very welcoming and service excellent
H. H.
Found by accident as was near a hotel I was staying at for work. Food menu limiting but looked nice. Tried to get table upstairs but was told was fully booked and that that they were only opening half the tables up that night. …
T. W.
This place was fantastic. Only had a short stay in London, but this place had the best food from my whole trip. The service was great and my husband and I very much enjoyed our meals. Fish and chips for me (literally the best I've had in …
J. G.
Catered to the young locals.being two old guys they had not much interest in US.
B. M.
We wanted outside seats. There were none but staff came in to get us outside when seats were free. Great attentive service
P. H.
Always welcoming. My wife and I stay at the Hotel around the corner from the Swan, once a year near Christmas and always visit this place. They have fantastic food and drink and a great atmosphere.
A. L.
Very nice food
M. B.
Lovely service good food
T. T.
Lovely meals but they put a complimentary service charge I like to have option to give tip
D. H.
Great night!
P. L.
Food is generally good and nice selection of decent beer.
Staff are friendly and helpful
Gets a little crowded and noisy when live music is on, so grab a table in the back room
P. P.
Service was decent, charged us for one too many drinks, one meal came cold, added a £20 tip on for a mediocre service. Wouldn't go again even if it is located in a convenient location
S. M.
Wandered in here on the day of Notting Hill Carnival and found the beer on tap to be okay. Nothing to write home about. The flatbread and humus was lacking size but nice enough. The upstairs restaurant looked fancy, though we didn’t take part. Quite an old pub with some nice history. If you’re perched and nearby on a hot Summer’s day... pop in.
G. T.
Probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Staff are friendly and for a London pub is really reasonable, good selection of beers too.
R. M.
nice worm but normaly too busy, dreat meals an view by the day.
R. I.
Great service atmosphere and good value
l. f.
Good food lovely staff
A. G. N.
I love that this place is just near my hotel in Best Western Mornington Hotel. They have lots of London souvenir items, fresh fruits, and a variety sandwiches. The local guy who mans the store is also nice.😊
P. M.
Good evening abs good service. I wish there were more options for the food but it was a good experience
C. H.
We decided to use the Swan for an after-party for an event that was hosted yesterday. We didn't book or reserve but did call them in the morning to ask them if they could store cakes for us ready for the evening. They were very accommodating and more than happy to help out and donate fridge space. The place was busy in the evening but with 2 floors and 2 outside spaces there was plenty of room and the service was quick and efficient. A good evening was had by all and we just wanted to thank the staff for helping out at such short notice!
H. C.
Great ale and decent service
S. M.
My favorite when I am in London. A single order of their fish & chips is enough for two people. My favorite is the steak and ale pie. It is a large meat pie with a pile of mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, shredded red cabbage covered in a rich beef gravy for 9.95. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a local favorite and packed every evening we were there. Give them a try.
T. O.
This is a beautiful old pub, years ago back in 1988 they used to hold “ Ole English Pub Song sessions ” with someone on the piano, not sure if they still do that? I moved back to Australia since. I would def make this my first stop when I return for a holiday!
sure
D. S.
Very fun place... love this pub!!
H. W.
Marvellous food served in relaxing surroundings. Best: we were welcome with our three children and were never given any feeling of being a burden. Thank you so much!
M. D.
Great London pub with a decent cask ale and draught selection. They make a very good fish and chips and your standard selection of pies. There is a nice outdoor patio in addition to an outdoor second floor terrace which overlooks the park.
M. C. M.
Nice place, great food. I am not giving a 5 because I asked the drink (orange juice and lemonade) without the straw and the bartender said, why?, how are you going to mix your drink? Then we put two straws on my drink. :(
M. W.
Nice pub, bar staff are friendly. Food was typical oub fare but if you're looking for a dining experience then perhaps you should look elsewhere.
E. S.
3.5- food was okay. Could have been more traditional English. Menu was kind of all over the place. But it was good and it was warm. Staff were friendly so that definitely helped.
S.
Lovely warm and friendly pub after a walk in the park. Very clean and safe. Lovely staff and gorgeous puddings
X. M.
We had a delicious dinner in a really beautiful place!
D. W.
Great pub. Nice decor, good beer and wine selection. Food was very good and the staff are friendly and polite. Worth a visit.
J. I.
Nice food and beer but you can't sit outside after 10 because they have to move barrels around and its against health and safety. Which turned out to be a lie and its because they had to catch public transport home and wanted to clean up early
M. E.
Wonderful English breakfast with superior hospitality and service. Damiana and Dani we so welcoming and kind. We will be back next time in London.
K. S.
Great beer, superb drinks. Live music was a thrill.
P. R.
Nice place really close to Hyde Park. The service was good, perhaps too good as we were asked if our table needed clearing every few minutes even when we still had food. Still better that than the other way around
Z. K.
First time in London so my girlfriend and I decided to ask for the word around town on the best Pub option. Unanimously it was the Swan according to Google aswell. Following a long trip I decided it would be nice to sit down and have a pint, and holy heck was I ever right. GREAT atmosphere, nothing but fun, delicious draught on tap (personal choice was the London Pride) and a top notch fish and chips, much more delicious than anything i have had in Canada. Overall amazing place!
K. K. L. M.
It's wonderful, isn't it, that suddenly you stumble over a colorful little gem, amongst the gray and generic. And you feel so welcome and at home. :) Amazing food and excellent service!
D. P.
Nice pleasant staff, good breakfast. Came back in the afternoon and they remembered us. Lovely pint of FST. Would recommend if you're passing.
J. C.
Has been refurbished since my last visit 3 years ago. So much better. Bar, restaurant and menu all looked good. Just drinks on this occasion but will be going back
A. S.
Best fish and chips I have ever tasted!
Nice stuff!
Always a visit when in London.
Best pub in the world?
M. W.
This pub is extremely popular with the tourists and for some reason they always order fish and chips, and wait for it, coffee. Good pints and service can be found at this Fuller’s pub. #pint #pub #londonpub #guinness
n. r.
Great location, superb food and great drink selection
J. M.
Quite reasonable place to have a drink and some variations of food and snacks. Quality is good and prices are reasonable, but do not expect to much. I was again in July 2018 in The Swan and its still a good place to be.
R. R.
Good ans solid pub. Very good choice of beer. Didn't try the food, could tune the music down a bit
V. D.
Had the fish&chips - big portion, very tasty and a bit heavy. The beer too was fine but the lack of service spoils the experience.
t. G.
Lovely setting. Just be careful eating in the garden area tended to flood quickly. Fun for the dogs and the kids padding in the road.
A. W.
Great food great beer before BGT to watch the Cure
N. J.
V big selection of drinks and food
Great Location and excellent customer service
J. S.
A lively pub with good food and drink
J. K. a. V.
Good food and drink selection. A shame with all the traffic just if you want to sit outside. Live music some nights and the dining section upstairs is cozy with attentive staff. One of the best pubs in the area.
H. G.
Service and ambience was good; food average
G. A.
Fullers pub, good beer and good food. Live music on weekend evenings makes for a great atmosphere. Join in, sing along and expect to have the mickey taken out of you.
D. E.
Very nice ale, chips, salads, soup, and overall atmosphere. Not so soft steak, but it's a minor thing, just try to avoid it.
C.
A very good pub located just across the Hyde park on the Bayswater road. They also have a small menu to savour, but if you don't fancy the menu then simply stick to the nuts.
E. K.
Nice traditio'nal english pub cooking. From the breakfast to the evening.
We try diffrents meals along our stay.
Nice live music too ! A lot of place, nice atmosphere, kind staf.
I recoment it :)
P. K.
Great pub. Ended up there on my birthday having a drink that turned out to have amazing live music. Great staff and drinks
A. P.
Good food and very big portions. Cozy although air conditioned is always too cold. Would recommend for some summer drinks and Mac and cheese.
p. h.
Enjoy the open green spaces inside the heart of the city
J. R.
Lovely classy pub. The balcony on a beautiful day is perfect. Great service and wine. What more could you want.
H. C.
Very friendly staff, set up a whole tv just for us so we could watch the football
B. M.
Nice location in front oh Hyde Park.
A. M.
Nice Fuller's pub opposite Hyde Park. Selection of real ales and good food options. Only downside is it's a bit expensive as it attracts a lot of tourists.
S. M.
We didn't eat here although the food being served up to other tables looked good. Had a very nice cup of coffee.
T. E. J.
Great place, good food and drinks
S. H.
Great service, great beer and amazing food! Not to forget the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed! Could recommend 😊
A. P.
I've been coming to the swan now for long time, roughly 3 years, and it's always a good choice friendly staff which they used to know you better and better and it's in a perfect position where you can enjoy a nice cold pint after work. There is a ginger girl, think her name is Tania? Or Tanita? But anyway she is really friendly and always smile and really professional always a pleasure to be served by her. Anyway good place with nice people.
K. H.
Excellent food - our group had sandwiches and entrees. Nice patio area for dining outside. Friendly and prompt staff.
A. G.
Located across Hyde Park, It's a great place to hang out with some friends after walking all day long in the park. A typical local pub with amazing atmosphere and really friendly staff. Absolutely worth a visit.
E. S.
Busy buys.. delicious cider
K.
Good service and not too busy
A. U.
Cool fun place to eat and drink. Right across the street to Hyde Park so it is great for a bite before taking a walk or after a walk. Friendly staff. Good beer selection and friendly staff.
J. W.
Excellent place to get your London fix of fish and chips or to grab a burger. The staff was very friendly and the food is ready extremely quick. As most places in London are rather expensive, this restaurant was a nice change of pace, offering food and drinks for a more reasonable price.
T. S.
Very good food good selection of beers however if it a good local pub with locals this isn’t the place as it’s geared more to the tourist which reflects in its prices having said that good staff and good quality food.
D. &. K. H.
Good quality food and friendly staff. We were there at 7pm and were able to get a table.
J. J. C.
Sumday roast was perfect choice of couse with a cask beer :-)
L. H.
It may be cliche, but getting the fish and chips with a Guiness or gin & tonic here is the way to go! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
S. W.
Very friendly and the food and beer were excellent. We only had a sandwich and nachos, not a full meal, but what we had was delicious
A. S.
Tasty veggie burger and friendly staff 🙂
R.
Great spot, much nicer upstairs than it is downstairs. A balcony, in sacrifice to natural light at the bar. Great outdoors area.
Not good for watching sport.
L. F.
Busy pub handy for our stay in London.
Nice staff and good pub grub. Simple, seating inside and out. Lots of tv sports coverage
J. Z.
Great atmosphere! A shame the live guitarist had to stop so early... singing together with most of the visitors is always a joy
P. T.
Great location. Always lively, often live music. Decent range of beers. London prices, not unsurprisingly... Food OK too.
E. E.
Quite cool. We sat for a pot of tea G&T. It was a cold day a band was ready to play. Outside was a sitting area, a few smokers,...
M. H.
Very nice pub. Nice & comfortable bar space. The food looked good, but steady with customers (6pm on a night).
M. M. R.
No the best options for wine but very comfotable inside and many beer options. Trational english pub.
A. C.
Cracking pub, reasonable beers, food looked reasonable (didn't eat - too busy with the beers). A gem in this location - not pretentious at all, a proper pub.
W. B.
The Swan is a great little pub right across from Hyde Park. I had the Buffalo Lasagna and my girlfriend had the Pie and both were delicious. Beer selection is good as well.
M. T.
Nice little pub next the Hyde Park, with an outdoor place aswell. Standard selection of beers, nice interior. Well worth a visit if you are nearby,
P. S.
The best Gnocchi I have ever had. Will definitely be going back when next in London. Nice staff, friendly atmosphere.
w. b.
Very nice Place,i am lovin it
S. C.
Close to where we were stopping and great for a local drink. Oppiste Hyde Park so the views are great. Staff are lovely and friendly and a credit to the pub.
H. H.
Tourist friendly pub with by the local standards large outdoor seating area - a place to always go back for an one if in the area, and nice half-way watering hole for a long park side walk on a nice day.
W. P.
Excellent fish and chips!!
D. B.
Nice pub with friendly service.
s. s.
Great location across from Hyde Park and around the corner from hotel (Elizabeth House-1 star). In's on a loop around the park, across the street from Lancaster Gate Tube and it's very east to get a cab to Knightsbridge (within walking distance) and the Big Red Bus Tours. Small hike to Westminster Abbey.
P. A.
Lovely pub, nice and clean and decorated to keep the authenticity of the pub, lovely out door seating area shaded by trees ( if we ever get sun) staff friendly and helpful.
T. T.
Lovely meals but they put a complimentary service charge I like to have option to give tip
S. T.
Lovely little pub
T. G.
Nice pub, great food, it was a bit crowded to sit indoors so had to settle for the friendly prompt service outdoors with nice view of Hyde Park,
I. M.
Very friendly staff. Best ever 'Eggs Benedict' with very good coffee for breakfast. Just love this place. Thank you guys.
C. H.
Electric Boogaloo on tap, what more do you want!
P. G.
Very good place for a drink and food. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
M. E.
A true gem located close to the Lancaster Gate of Hyde Park, situated on Bayswater Road. Live music here in the weekend, so can be a bit crowdy. But people don't mind and use the space of the sidewalk for what it's worth. We always come back to this classic London pub everytime we visit London. My father had already been there 15 times.
B. M.
We wanted outside seats. There were none but staff came in to get us outside when seats were free. Great attentive service
B. D.
Pretty decent pub
P. V. (.
Lovely relaxed pub. Ordered the Swan Pie and wasn't disappointed, gorgeous food. Great staff, lovely and very helpful
D. J.
Live music Saturday night, lots of fun. Good priced beers. Make sure to sign up on their website for a free drink. Mostly over 40yo crowd
C. K. C.
Delicious food and fantastic service! Very convenient spot to lounge sitting at their tables outside, next to Hyde Park. Definitely will be coming back.
C. K.
Fantastic food, good selection of well kept beers. The atmosphere was great and so are the staff.
O. A.
Went into this place for the first time in my life and met a guy named Ziyad,Who gave me wonderful advice about my life to follow Till this day. I guess i've liked the place because of Ziyad but still an outstanding establishment . Go and have A drink! Now that i think of it, i should have asked Ziyad for his information but you know what! The place is cool😀
L. H.
Nice and cosy pub. They are all very friendly here, great tasty menu and when the sun is shining, u can sit outside (ok, the road is a little bit disturbing)...
D. H.
Good social distancing. Limited menu. Food good. Bar good. Staff friendly and efficient
R. N.
Old history is present and good service
G. M.
It's in a very good position. Good range of beers and the food was quite good. You could do a lot worse than visit.
K. R.
People told us we would be less than impressed with food in London. They clearly haven't been to The Swan. Absolutely incredible food.
C. D.
Great place to eat or drink. Went in both nights whilst in London. The singer/ guitarist was fabulous. It's a must try.
c.
Great pub but make sure you are in the mood for love music because if it is on you will definitely hear it
S. N.
We enjoyed an evening drink and snack here. Lovely location just off Hyde Park. The apple crisp dessert was excellent!
M. V. C.
Great meal - fish & chips and the beef & ale pie with mashed potatoes. Nice friendly staff.
M. H.

V. P.
An historical pub. Serves very good beer (Fullers of course, as well as many others), and good food.
A. W.

Nice pub and people!
G. H.
Love this pub on the edge of hide park, always spend a lot of time here when visiting London, great friendly staff, quite busy on weekends, usually have a band on Saturday nite, food reasonable
B. W.
The steak pride pie was probably the best pie I’ve ever had. Cosy, warm, cold beer, good vibes.
C. B.
The staff was lovely. Nice selection of ale. The food was great
M. G.
Great service and drink selection. Food was not hot enough to enjoy although flavor was fine.
G. P.
Really good atmosphere for a few drinks, good place to sit outside although it's on a busy road with the park opposite. The building has some history too
G. B.
A fantastic restaurant, and also a pub. The food was delicious, the service, quick and efficient.
A. L.
We live in Nottingham ,while waiting for taxi we popped here as close to our hotel . Nice friendly staff ,food and drink spoilt for choice we'll definitely call again thankyou 👌
A. S.
Great food at a great location. Sadly no table service, so get up and order if you want to drink or eat anything...
A. H.
Great pub for people watching. Full of tourists in the evening who are resting after their long day of sightseeing. Cross the road for the Italian gardens
N. J. J.
Lovely park inside and outside seating, just across from Hyde park
R. G.
Great location across the street from Hyde park, warm and cosy, friendly atmosphere. Would come again when I'm able to stay longer...
K. W.
Traditional English Pub. Good selection of beer. Prices only fair. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
S. J. (.
Lovely historic pub serving great real ales. A CAMRA favourite, so much better than a plastic Wetherspoons. 🍻
R. F.
Nice pub! Been coming here for many years. Looks like it's recently had a refurb. Good food
A. M.
Great traditional pub with plenty of outdoor seating and live bands at the weekend
R. E.
A traditional English pub. The food is reasonable but not outstanding and the beer is pretty much the same set of choices you would get at any other pub.
T. G.
Food good and prices reasonable. The servers were helpful. For a Tuesday night it was quite busy.
N. P.
Great range of beers and decent food. Nice outdoor seating. Reasonable prices.
M.
Remarkably good food, pleasant staff, and a nice atmosphere. Good spot for lunch, meeting friends, and chatting.
S. V.
Nice pub with good selection of beers and bar food. It's the sort of pub where you should bring your company, as you less likely make company like on others.
S. P.
Lovely traditional British pub within walking distance of Hyde park! The prices dont break the bank either, which is a change for London!
V. S.
Very nice place. Good location, decor, incredible selection of beers and wonderful service. The 'fish and chips' is amazing!
L. G. P.
Very tipical pub, food is great and beer variety is great.
It's a big pub and at some days there are live music.
R. H.

A beautiful old coaching inn over the road from Hyde Park in London. It really has the feeling of a bygone era. Lots of wood panelling and fireplaces - even in the toilets.

Probably if not one of the best pubs in central London, the area it's located in is what's best about it, great food, good selection of drinks, and the service is decent also.
