This is a very busy pub, it's massive inside with three floors, plenty of loud music and there is a massive bar there too. Great for a night out.

Name speaks for itself, underground progressive rock goth etc club and venue for that kind of gigs and parties. A bit difficult to find the best spot for viewing a gig due to the pillars obstructing the view. Staff is friendly. Check their calendar for events and parties.

The underworld is one of my favourite venues to visit for intimate rock/metal shows! It really has character and I'll always find excitement knowing I'll be going here to see a band. The capacity is 500, all standing, but it feels much smaller. There generally aren't barriers at shows, so if you're up front, you're practically touching the band members. There are also small bars located down there that serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The prices however are quite eye watering being in the centre of London. I recall paying £6 something for a Newcastle brown ale! Worth it though if you are seeing a good band. The only thing I'll mention in the negative aspect are the security guards and staff. They can be rude and forceful sometimes.

This place had such a different vibe. It was quite big and spacious as compared to other pubs I have seen. They have regular gigs from many different bands. And, this place has come crazy history attached to it too. Go read the plaque right outside the main gate. Didn't attend any show sadly.

It's my second home. The people are friendly - a community of of black shirts, especially the staffs, they look after the welfare of individual. Last Saturday, my mate fainted while watching GnR and Motley Crue tribute band. Luckily there was a nurse, who was looking after my mate while I was looking for help and guard was apt on time to call the paramedics. They took my mate outside for fresh air when he got consciousness back until the ambulance came. He was admitted and discharged that night, then he came back to the club to find where he park his car. Today, Monday 20 Sept, my mate messaged me that Camden Underworld management rang him to check if he is alright and invited him to go back to the club. It was like a First Aid Drill, however it was real. Thank you all. The Nurse and all The Guards. That was an act of kindness and so humane.

Visited Underworld for Camden Rocks,a night out, on Saturday 30th July 2021. The atmosphere was great. However they have ramped up prices hugely since I last visited which made for a very expensive night despite good predrinks.. a tenner for double spirit mixer (which tasted awful), 7.50 for a Camden hells (also awful imo), no San Miguel available. It was also a sweatbox at the far end of the dance floor. Considering joey jordison, an iconic drummer, had just died, I expected to hear more than 1 Slipknot song during the evening. A very predicable playlist could have done with a more interesting DJ.

Cracking venue in the heart of Camden. Good selection of beers etc and nice to find a venue with seating in the bar area to chill out between bands. Parking no sweat if you use the Just park app, cost me £13 for 8 hours and it was a minutes walk from the venue. Good sound from the stage and a nice atmosphere all round .👍

I've been to this venue many times and have always had a blast. It's one of those places you can go which is really chilled out and super fun. I've only been on their Friday/Saturday club nights so I'm not sure how it is as a live venue. For a night out though, it's perfect. The crowd here is always very friendly and easy going. Being able to safely mosh with total strangers is always a sign of a good group of people. Music varies depending on the night but it's mostly rock with some pop and metal mixed in as well. It should appeal to most of your friends. Drink prices are slightly high for beer, but they also have a cheap drink list which I've yet to explore. So come out on a Friday or Saturday, bring your dancing shoes and be ready for a sticky floor rock night!

Great venue to go. The place is small but that is part of what makes it good, you get close to the bands and not swamped by hundreds like you do at bigger venues and the pub at the back is spacious and accommodates band and support band merch tables with space left over to mingle and meet artists (if you get meet and greet tickets). Only problem are small the stairs are a little steep and theres a column in the middle of the room thats very easy to smack into in a mosh appart from that its great.

Very easy to see why this is regarded as one of the UK's best metal venues; great atmosphere, superb drinks and designed in a way that means you don't have to yell to the bar staff to get your order across over the music.

It's a good venue. A bit grimy and plenty of aged aromas of booze and sawdust. Small and low level stage great for moshing and jumping. Intimate gigs always - loud and raucous. Bar staff fine though doormen can be a bit overwhelming if you've had a few.

We always have quite a few shows happening here at the Underworld, mostly because it's such a brilliant venue for up and coming bands. Under the pub, it's deceivingly spacious but still has a great intimate vibe about the place. It gets hot and sweaty down here, there's barely any phone signal and the floors are sticky with old beer - which is exactly what you want from a rock venue.

I have been to some fantastic venues but the Camden Underworld will always stick in my head as one of the best gig venues I have ever been to. Such a small, intimate venue with surprisingly good acoustics. I just wish more of the bands I love played here. When they do I am always straight there.

Went in September to see KAMIJO and had a great experience. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the whole place is very clean. The seats are extremely comfortable, and the actual gig itself was amazing! The sound and lights were great for filling the amount of space in the venue.

One of my favourite music venues in London. It's a little small but it creates a very unique and intimate atmosphere when watching live music. The sound is always pretty good and generally no matter where you stand you get a great view of the stage.

Awesome venue...went to see Exhorder on their first gig in the uk...we were up close and personal with the band and got to meet them after the show. Theres a great bar with loads of bar if that makes sense. Looks like nothing from outside, but you go in through the doors and go downstairs to the UNDERWORLD..

I prefer sitting upstairs on the couches where I can watch people and be cozy at the same time. Great venue for both live music and club nights. Right next door to World'd End pub so attracts a good, lively crowd. Friday nights are really busy so that is a good night to visit. I definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun, lively night out! Literally opposite Camden tube station so very easy to get to.

If you like to dance to alternative tunes, this is the place for you. Quite dirty (myself I expect some filth in Camden). Prices are set high, quality doesn't reflect them though. This place opens at around midnight, you need to queue and pay entrance fee (a bit cheaper with flier). I believe it's worth visiting, not the best one in Camden though.

One of the best venues to watch some of the best metal shows is the Underworld in Camden. They have the history, with many bands who have shaped Extreme Metal having played at least one show in the underworld. It's not the biggest of places, and the design isn't exactly the most intuitive either but I guess all of that add to the charm. You're there to watch METAL! And boy do they have the shows. It's quick, and has a "dirty" feel to it, and the atmosphere is excellent. I can't say the service is excellent, but I guess that's the point! Love Metal? Catch a gig at the Underworld. 'Nuff said.

A blast from my past. This place is great on Friday nights for 80's night, but I went on a Saturday and it was rock night...not bad, but I seem to have got older as everyone was quite young. Nice staff and good deals on drinks.

good cheap night club, usually there are flyers being given out at the tube station to get money off entrance, music to ranges from metal to cheesy 90's pop depending on the night. There are 3 bars gradually getting closer to the dance floor so you can find your level of volume you prefer, chat in the quiet area and then go bananas on the dance floor.

A great night out, drinks are really cheap and the music is awesome, all the old classics like system of a down and linkin park etc. Doesn't get busy until a bit later so if you arrive at say 12 and it's fairly dead, don't fret it gets packed later.

They have great gigs and tonight was one of the best but in terms of drinks and their new staff i’m far from pleased... tonight a girl at the bar tried to charge me with 5 £ extra for two drinks, respectively 15.80 instead of 10.80 and changed the amount after my payment didn’t went through...probably to get herself a drink...and the same one charged me earlier 2£ for a mixer...

Twelve Foot Ninja!!!!!! Stunning gig. Great sound! Underworld has just the right capacity for an intimate feeling gig. plus there is a huge bar before you get into the pit.
