Cool pub for a drink with a nice atmosphere, but food was fairly disappointing. The vegan platter cost £15 but mostly consisted of toasted bread and the amount of tofu was measly, not sure what I paid for. The vegan burger was decent but again very pricey. On the positive the staff member was very friendly!

With my wife needing specialist surgery at Kings Hospital Fetal Unit finding somewhere nearby without costing the earth whilst also being high quality wasn't easy, then this little gem of a place was found. While my stay was 4 nights I only spent 2 nights here, slept at the hospital in a chair for the others to support my wife with toilet trips and cups of tea! That said I still made the trip back for breakfast eat morning , a shower then returned to be by my wife's side. I also returned in the evening a few times for an evening meal. You couldn't get in any different. In the day a quite tavern with an amazing atmosphere and appearance then come the evening it was jam packed and whilst I hadn't booked a table, they was able to accommodate and the food came very quickly, hot and to any special requirements (the steak was cooked to perfection!). The room was very comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff was super friendly and could tell they enjoyed working there, there was just a buzz they gave off when speaking to you and interacting with other guest being hotel guest or pub guest. I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend anyone to stop here.

Lovely warm and welcoming place even on a cold Jan night. Intimate even though a large place and you can talk to people without the need to scream at them because the music is so loud. Food is excellent too. Go visit. A little tucked away but a treasure to find!

Very impressive pub. Good selection of beers, wines and even some cocktails. The thing that impressed me the most was the food. Even though the pub food is a little more expensive that most pub food in London, it is definitely delicious. The fries were crispy and flat iron chicken was moist and perfectly flavoured with the garlic butter.

Frequent visitor here and always been great. Put my parents, grandparents and siblings up in the rooms which are equally lovely. Summer has outdoor seating that gets some evening sun and inside great whatever the weather. Food good, beers well kepts, occasionally bit busy - but it’s a good pub so that’s to be expected. Well worth the 5* review!

Was amazing to have a steak sandwich and a couple of cold Neck Oils after being stuck indoors for so long! The staff are doing a great job about maintaining distancing etc - so please respect them! If they tell you there aren't any seats available outside, listen to them! It doesn't matter if you spot a stray seat on the end of a bank of 6 occupied seats: it's not "free" like it might have been pre-pandemic.

I booked my parents-in-law to this hotel to stay while they were over for a wedding. They have told me that I must post a review on their behalf about how good the hotel and their staff were. The food was amazing, very big portions for breakfast, freshly made and delicious. The rooms were impeccably tidy, and the staff were courteous and kind. They said they could not have been booked into a better hotel. What a review! Well done and thank you to Victoria Inn for looking after them so well.

After a well needed makeover the Victoria pub is back. The food is good again… it had not been for a while. They have a great selection of beers & wine as well as a very good revamped menu. And finally - a lunch menu! With the refurbishment and new furnishings - this pub has a welcomed new lease on life.

Vibrant atmosphere with wide range of clientele in the bar. Rooms and ensuite clean, poss too warm but cosy.on a dark winter night. Surprisingly very little external noise and always have the same top floor front facing room. Breakfast and service very good. Visited for Sunday lunch with a friend. Delicious roast beef with the usual trimmings. Wasn't asked how I'd like the beef done which is a bit unusual these days. In any event it was delicious as was the gravy served with it. A humongous Yorkshire pudding rather dwarfed the otherwise tasty, if somewhat scant, roast potatoes and spinach accompaniment. Pudding was a very moreish and generous apple and prune crumble with a sumptuous homemade custard. Will definitely return for more.

I had a great Sunday Roast at the Victoria Inn. The place was recommended to me because it serves really delicious food at a reasonable price, and the Victoria Inn did not disappoint! The atmosphere is really lovely and the bar has a great drink selection. I felt the table service was too slow, but the staff were so friendly that I didn't mind too much.

I should probably give this 3* by my own standards, but overall the comforting feeling about this place bumps it up. The reason why it's really a 3? The ale choice is limited to 2 high ABV offerings. The food, all reheated is pretty bland really, main and desert, and the presentation of both was just a bit boring. Not enough veg. Heavy water marks on the ceiling too. But i rather like the place. It's comfortable, light, easy going and the sort of impression of a pub that i like. Friendly staff. So go. I think aesthetically it's got it, the food and drink just so let it down a bit.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Victoria Inn for a baby-free break. We were thrilled with the comfy bed and fab décor. The breakfasts were delicious, and everyone so friendly and obliging. We loved the area, being full of nice coffee shops and only 30 minutes on the overground from Central London. The pub food was perfect, and the atmosphere thriving. You can tell that Peckham is the new place-to-be!

Overpriced and abject menu but nice enough when you're hungry I guess. Lovely spot for a pint though, with plenty of local brews and a nice layout, especially in the dining area. Also, it legit has a soft play room with a baby monitor screening to huge TV above the bar! 😂😂😂 Now I'm not a parent but if I was I might even give five stars based on that alone!

A* Our stay was worth every penny. Very clean room, modern decor, smart tv and coffee machine, very comfortable bed. Plenty of local amenities, free parking a couple of minutes away. Also the breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anybody else.

My wife and I recently stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it! Our room was clean and spacious, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, and the included breakfast was excellent. The inn is a little distance from the main London attractions, but not far from public transportation. We will absolutely be staying there on our next trip to London.

The rooms are coasy, quiet, warm, well equipped with coffee, tea facilities, a Bluetooth speaker, and TV. Nice showers, could do with a little more oomph but probably out of their control. Food in the evening was a very traditional affair and fairly enjoyable. breakfast is included in the price of the room, starts from 7, probably the weakest part of the show. My poached eggs were very meh, the granola was beautiful though, and the coffee was good. I'd stay again.

Large array of beers and spirits which give a range of choices of what to have. Staff are friendly and service at the bar was quick. The sun was out which meant we could take advantage of the outside area which is on a road where you can enjoy your drink and watch the world go by with plenty of hustle and bustle.

It's nice to have such a friendly pub for a local, we enjoy coming here on a Friday eve and sitting in the big comfy chairs. The Victoria is quite pricey though, probably the most expensive in the area which does put me off slightly but the atmosphere inside almost makes up for it. (Most of) The bar staff are friendly and quick to take your order - although it's never quite clear if its table service or order at the bar, it seems to change weekly - as do the times of the kitchen! It seems perfect for parents though as they have a child's play area with cameras in so I'm guessing you can just dump them in there and watch them play whilst having a quiet drink, everyones a winner!

This place does some really good food - big portions and in general a really exciting men. We got the mackerel and salmon skewer, and pulled pork. Couldn't finish either, and waitress was more than happy to wrap it up for us to take home. Great atmosphere in this place as well!

Great food ,fantastic staff if a little too keen to please. The room I ended up with was clean and comfortable with a huge comfy double bed . Unfortunately there was some bad . Problems checking in although I had the same problem at a different hotel the next night so is probably a problem with the corporate booking system used and not the hotel. My first room had not been cleaned no bed made and a used towel on the side next to the sink ,I was immediately offered another room though so all was good . I checked out early so cannot comment on the breakfast but if it was as nice as the evening meal you won't go to far wrong .

I absolutely adore this pub. It's gorgeous, cosy and they have a resident yappy dog. Single best thing has to be the food. The breaded halloumi is my favourite bar snack ever and the beef & chorizo lasagne will kil you with cheese, but in a good way. Everything I've tried, down to the chips with aioli mayo has been delicious. Staff are lovely too, and there's an inn upstairs should you want to stay even longer.

A cracking neighbourhood pub that has a menu that any gastropub would be envious of and none of the pretension. Indeed, you could easily spend the evening drinking without ever realising quite how good the kitchen is (well, assuming your eyes and ears are closed to what's going out around you) as there's a good selection of beers and ales. The breaded halloumi sticks make a great bar snack or starter and you'll want to nibble on them all night, while the pork belly, fennel and caper salad was absolute perfection. It wouldn't have been a shock if this dish was on the menu of a top end restaurant. Crunchy and full of flavour, as was the lemon posset was just stunning. Had Greg Wallace tasted this on Masterchef, his grin would still be extending from Land's End to John O'Groats. The staff are friendly, the pub is cosy and there's even a children's room for parents during the day. The Victoria Inn was my first ever visit to Peckham. I'd happily make the trek to return - it's that good.

Unforgetable journey there! We were from Spain for four nights and it was absolutely fantastic. Before we went, I read Peckham could be a bit dangeurous zone in London. Even I read that it was ugly. In spite of this, we booked in Victoria Inn and it was incredible. Quite big rooms, clean spaces, delicious meals and, above all, a wonderful crew of waiters and receptionists. Especially Laura. Every we needed was solve quickly by them. And it always was with a smile. I would recommend it for everyone, and if we come soon, I would repeat with them. Cosy pub on bellenden road. Interesting beer selection and good food, albeit on the expensive side - mains from £14 - £24 I think. You won't be able to watch sports here unless some big event. E.g Monday night football will not be shown but maybe the England Ireland rugby will.

Used the hotel upstairs to accommodate some overseas guests. Reasonable prices and good service. The room itself was adequate, just a few small niggles like, a light was not working in the hallway which made getting into the room a needlessly tiresome experience (fumbling with keys to find the lock).
