Typical pub as the chain likes to keep its look distinct. As always, very good prices for food and drink, even more so considering the location. Ordered via the app but there was nowhere to add comments. When the waiter brought the cutlery over I asked for my steak to be blue. He replied, he finishes at 7pm so I asked if he would let the kitchen know. He suggested that I inform the staff member when the food was brought out....😕

Good prices and plenty of seating. The food was nice and came with a drink (lots of choices) pricing was very fair and I'll be back for seconds when passing again. Is situated on the corner of a busy road and there is outside seating and smoking areas available. The staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever I've been in here. If you're passing and fancy a drink or bite to eat which is nice and won't break the purse, this is the place to stop.

Booked for my wife's wake and the staff had know idea about it. Bad communication between staff,we had to wait 20mins, then we had to arrange the tables ourselves. We will go elsewhere next time we have a get together. 4/10

It’s a Wetherspoons so you know what to expect. However it’s probably on the bottom end of the Wetherspoons branches. The location is uninspiring, the interior lacks natural light and the clientele lean towards the unsavoury.

We went yesterday for my husbands 21st. Our waiter Jake Smith was such an amazing waiter honestly best person there he made jokes with us and made us feel so welcome and helped us out a lot. The other waitresses on one hand acted like they didn’t want to be there and had no manners what so ever. They made us feel not welcome, they didn’t want to help or serve. Honestly Jake is the best server you got, it was our first time at the Leytonstone Wetherspoon and I don’t think we would go again unless our server was Jake. The food and drinks was so lovely and very affordable. The pink unicorn gin was the best. I think it was the manager, she was wearing a green top behind the bar. We was first sat at table 19 which we then switched to table 24. We didn’t know we ordered back to table 19 or how to switch the table numbers. When we approached the woman to explain the situation, she wasn’t very helpful and said “you can change your table number on the app” which we then said we didn’t know then she said “if you ordered drinks to that table it will go to that table” but it was said rudely and we already knew that which is why we went to explain that to the woman as we saw people was then sat at that table. In the end she showed us how to do it.

Visited on a weekday evening and so it was quite quiet. The service was quick and efficient. You need to wear a #mask when #indoors and the staff were all wearing masks. The place it's nice, the atmosfere too. The food is okay the risotto was very nice I loved it but the ribs were not so good. Also the menus on the tables were dirty like full of ketchup, and other stuff. The toilets were not checked regularly as I've been there for a couple of hours and they've got only messier.

Pub was ok .ppe all in place. But I'm not happy with the food we were surved. Pizza the only thing on it was cheese an a few little bits of mushroom. And the garlic bread was burnt black all round the edges. So could only eat centre. This is not the first time I've had bad food from there. But it will be the last time I eat there. But I will drink there if my friends are going there.

Staff was really nice even though they are working 90% with very difficult costumers and I can see they are not getting too many feedback from them. My teenage daughters and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Burgers are great and the chips are the best I've had. Plus, they come with a drink or pint for a great price. Maybe the greatest pub to be erected in this great nation. The ale is thirst quenching, the bar snacks are satisfying and the lamb shank they do blew me out of this world! Usually a pleasant experience, most bartenders are friendly (especially the girl with pink hair and the lovely guy with a black shirt and a ponytail) and the food is good (also comes really fast). Bartender Leo though is a joke, if he’s in a good mood you may even get a drink without stressing yourself out but he takes his own time walking around the bar and talking to his colleague who’s having a drink after his shift, takes a trip to the kitchen whilst everyone’s waiting and when he’s the only one working and makes you feel like he’s doing you a favour for giving you a drink when you’re obviously paying. Will only come back when I see someone else besides him serving, otherwise no thanks. Dropped my review to 3 stars because of the countless unpleasant experiences with him.

I ordered a Pepsi and some food. The food arrived in 10 mins but I waited 40 minutes for a drink to arrive. This has happened on multiple occasions now. The food is as good as you get from a weatherspoons. You don’t go there expecting 5* service. However the service is one of the worst I have seen in any weatherspoons.

This was the start of a wetherspoon day for a small group of us, breakfast here then lunch at the Hudson Bay followed by dinner at The Eva Hart. A very nice way to enjoy a day out.

Have been a visitor to this place many times and have always left happy. Food is always good with a wide selection at very affordable prices. A wide range of ales are normally available as are a selection of others wines, beers and spirits. Great food and drink deals on multiple days of the week.

Good service in a large and friendly pub. As is the norm with Wetherspoons, the food is reasonably priced as are drinks, and the food is honest and tastes good. Getting here can be a pain if you drive as there is no direct parking for this pub, so best to catch a bus or tube if you do not wish to walk a large distance.

I've been to the pub in many occasions and I think that I have given it a fair rating. The food is mediocre, the service is mediocre and the drinks available are mediocre (didn't have 3/4 drink I requested, like toquilla) The steak is cooked well but was tasteless. The chicken and ribs are dry. The apple crumble dessert probably comes out of a packer because had plastic in mine last time I ordered. However it's a good space to have a good time. Just don't expect anything amazing to eat lol.

Good: - it is a big pub, lots of space and tables - the prices are quite affordable and this attracts lots of people - Being a wetherspoon pub is like McDonald's - you know what to expect - good location - beer garden for the smokers (well, I will not call it garden, but there is a space with tables/chairs where you can smoke) Bad: - could be quite busy and noisy. Sometimes it's difficult to find a free table, especially if you are big company - don't expect luxury - the food is not the most delicious one, but this reflect the price - sometimes the toilets could be a little bit messy Will I visit it again? Lovely Weatherspoon's - atmosphere is really nice - a touch nicer than most spoons I've been to. A great antidote to the rest of the trendy pubs in East London. For the price of a beer in most pubs you get a cheap beer and a burger here. Don't expect the Ritz and you'll have a good time. Get your mates to get the first round at the Red Lion across the road - then offer to buy everyone dinner at spoons - break even.

A well known British traditional pub chain offering food. The food is fast food to an average standard in traditional pub standard. Not a great menu for healthy eaters though. Place your order at the bar and pre-pay. They do now have an app where you can order and pay on your phone from your table. A novel idea if you're a regular to their premises., I hadn't seen that before. Clearly, this chain is aiming to attack the younger element to its offerings.

Your typical Wetherspoons, one of the older ones but that doesn't mean anything. The kitchen is as good as they get at any 'spoon, the landlady is lovely and the staff is mostly attentive. They've also for a good variety of cask and bottled ales. Your fellow guests are a good mixture of the East Europeans typical for that area, the red nosed drinkers and a very few of the better off people from the Bushwood area (though they might prefer the Red Lion further down the road).

Was visiting a relative in Leytonstone and called in the Walnut Tree for a meal. Didn't really impress us, they had no light lagers on tap, ran out, no steak, so even mixed grill was off the menu as Weatherspoons policy is the count each item on it and none can be swapped. Not the best we have been to unfortunately.

Most of wetherspoons are nice (quite worst in zone 1), but this one is amazing. Fantastic meals almost every single day. Cheap beer. Suggestions: Large Nachos with Chili con Carne / 5 Bean-Chili (V) Fried Chicken Strips (quite hot/spicy) Original Gourmet Beef Burger (chicken burger are great too) Tenessee Burger (amazing Honey Jack Daniel Sauce!) +sauteed onions like a side for burgers (personal preference) Sirloins and Ribs are huge and tasty also! I love it.

Traditional old English cheap "chain" budget gastro pub in Victorian style, it is located just 5 minutes walk from Leytonstone station. Good budget venue for breakfast. Surprisingly good! Small garden but it has smoking and non smoking areas, sun and shade too. Amazing offers for coffee and tea. Take away coffee is only £1, which I have not seen anywhere in London (apart from Macdonalds). Very spacious, with small beer garden, old historical photos on the walls. They do English breakfast, special themed food days like Mexican food on Mondays, Chicken menus on Wednesdays, popular steak days, surprisingly good Indian menu on Thursdays (not hot though), which all we have enjoyed, etc. One can find fish and chips and other traditional pub food here and even some free books to read. It can be very busy in the evenings and weekends. It is getting popular with young ones. Free Wi Fi.
