G. D.We love this new edition to the neighborhood, we really like the sophisticated but at the same time warm decor, fantastic food, and excellent service. The menu rotates, some items being the same but other being new, which is very nice. The kitchen / food is truly excellent and we just love the food. Some favorites, beetroot salad, pate, fresh Cod, and really good soups, as well as wonderful mains, on the seasonal menu.
A great place for quality food and drink with excellent service, traditional but with a modern twist. Warm service that is always extremely excellent. Highly recommend!
G. P.Very nice Sunday lunch. Beef was delicious, lentil roast was ok. Cauliflower cheese was tasty, so were the cauliflower wings & the pavlova was superb.

Food and drinks are priced as you would expect and the quality and variety of both is respectable.
They are very dog friendly, you can often find a dog either outside or laying down quietly inside.
The biggest downside to the place is that they don't serve food everyday, you can usually tell the day (I don't know the exact days) as the pub is nearly empty come lunch or dinner time.
Would recommend for a drink after work or as a pit stop when walking along the Thames.
R. B.Finally, a lovely, friendly, posh pub on the Island with a cozy neighborhood feel! Pop in for a pint or a coffee or even an evening meal as kitchen opens at 5pm I believe. It has a small but maximized garden space and entire pub has been completely renovated to a high standard. I believe there may be rooms too for visiting friends or relatives. Welcome Waterman Arms to the Island! We are happy you are here especially when pubs all over east London are being closed or tore down. And in true pub style I have enjoyed visiting with kids, friends, on my own, with London tourists and on a date night with my husband.
M. D.Beer is a decent selection, quiet location just back from the river Thames. I sat outside and enjoyed the peace.

B.I called in for a drink while waiting on a business client, the atmosphere was nice and the staff were quick to serve and very friendly, the establishment has been refurbished and is immensely improved. My phone had run out off charge and when I asked a young man behind the bar was there any charging points he said no but he went out of his way to help me out by doing a phone to phone emergency charge from his phone that helped me out greatly. I bought him a pint for his trouble. I didn't get to try the food as I was under a time constraint but will the next time I'm in. Great place great staff.
