Nice friendly pub that's slightly hidden from the hustle bustle of the area. They've got multiple screens with games running in case if anyone is interested. Service was good and and so was the beer. Didn't get a chance to eat anything but I liked the overall vibe of the place. Can easily see myself sitting here someday again.

🚇 Leicester Square 🍺£4.79 Amstel ❤️ Covent Garden is always a good place to have a wander around, it also has a great selection of boozers to visit to grab a drink or some food whatever the nature of a visit here. . I paid a visit to the @whiteswancoventgarden back in March 2018 after a spot of shopping and was keen to have a look as I’d never frequented here before. The White Swan is a traditional London pub in many ways with its beautiful victorian facade and sumptuous dark wood interior with elegant brass fixtures and fittings. I visited on a weekday around mid afternoon and it wasn’t overly busy here with a mix of tourists, shoppers and the odd office worker. I have been to a number of @nicholsonspubs and I have always felt I’m in a well run boozer which offers good beer and food. Inside each pub there is a lot of uniformity from pub to pub, but at least you know what you are getting. Due to the pubs location you will pay a premium for a pint here, but this is the West End and to be expected. The food menu here is full of British favourites including toad in the hole which you don’t see too often in pubs these days. . The White Swan is a decent honest boozer which offers the customer a convivial traditional pub experience and is well worth a visit. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 16/03/18

Went to watch the Euros semi final (sorry Spaniards), food was amazing, gotta go with their signature burger, give them props for delivering while having a full house. In the heart of Covent garden and not far from a lot of theaters, this little historical pub is the perfect spot for stopping for a quick meal or few drinks. The place is decorated with really nice paintings , the staff are really quick and polite. Is not a case this pub is here from years, defenetly to visit if you are in the area.

Alas, there was a lack of variety on the menu, but again , I'm sure supplies are not as regular as normal. Overall, a very pleasent experience . First visit here, could not fault it. Greeted at the door by a friendly guy who explained their covid measures. Great table service, the staff worked so hard keeping everyone as safe as they could. Constantly cleaning, 1 way systems. You are given a paper copy of the drinks menu, this is thrown when you leave, a choice of a few different gins and whiskey that we haven't tried before, so we will definitely be back (after 2nd lockdown that is)

We've been to the restaurant, upstairs, not to the pub. The food is typically British... :) But we've been offered the best dinner experience of our London trip by the waiter! This guy is pure fun & sympathy. He welcomed us as regular customers, made us some really good customized cocktails and we enjoyed a little talk with him at the end of the meal. We'll definitely come back to this place next time, and it's mostly due to him :)

One of the most characteristic pubs in Covent Garden! Just stopped by couple of weeks ago for a pint after crazy Xmas shopping, even thought it was a bit busy the staff managed to serve me and my friends in couple of minutes and the bartender was extremely friendly. Big selection of drinks especially gin, my friend had a g&t nicely presented and I got a Guinness instead, perfectly poured. Highly recommend!:)

Probably the tastiest steak meal I've ever had and my sister said the same, and for once I actually struggled to finish a meal as there was so much of it! The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was that I got my sister a small coke 330ml and it cost £3.30!

This pub has plenty of seating inside and the people are very friendly. There is a good variety of beers on offer or like me plenty of whiskey to drink. The toilets are located up some very steep stairs but that’s because the building is very old. The food looked good but as it was too late to eat. There seems to be a theme round this area and when last orders is called they want you out within 15 minutes.

Came in with the family before our restaurant reservation at another place. I think this is the best pub in london! There were three young ladies on the bar, we were greeted by the lady with blonde hair, then the one with the short red hair and glasses (If i recall, her name was Brooke, but I’m getting old!) struck up a conversation. What a lovely, charismatic and intelligent girl! She brightened the pub with her smile. Good luck Brooke on the college degree, and thank you The White Swan for having BRILLIANT staff!

If you loved the 3 Greyhounds in Soho, you'll love the white swan... Same great beers, managers and staff from the Greyhounds are now here in Covent garden. Much bigger, multi floor pub, full dining room and more. Live sports on TVs an added bonus. Don't get me wrong, the 3 greyhounds is still great as with most Nicholson's pubs... It's the team running the White Swan that makes it my 'Go To' in Covent Garden.

This is a Nicholson's pub, and it shows - it's that standardised pub style you'll find in pretty much any of their pubs (this isn't a bad thing, although it is somewhat uninspiring). There's always a good selection of well kept ales. They also have some lager and cider options that seem to be popular with people who like them. I've never eaten a proper meal here, but I've had some of the smaller snacks on the menu and they were fine. For some reason they like to blast the music really loud on Friday nights, really too loud for a normal pub, as if someone thinks they're running a trendy nightclub instead of a place people go after work for a chat. Overall it's fine. There are tons of pubs in the area, but I end up going here relatively frequently, so that should tell you all you need to know I guess.

a great find. we stumbled upon this pub to get out of the snow. we were greeted by a young lad who made us feel very welcome. The food in the upstairs dinning area was marvellous, and the waitress was incredible friendly and helpful, and she did not rush us to leave one we had finished. i will be telling all my friends.

A good pint of Camden Hells, but it's usually rammed. Great staff, but the back of the pub often smells a tad ripe. Decor is interestingly traditional, yet not quite inviting. If you're desperate for a pint, there are worse places to go. That being said, there are more than a few better spots too.

I was there for dinner with my friends in the dining upstairs. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and the staff were really attentive. They understood that we were going to be there for hours so they didn't rush us in ordering but when we needed them they were available straight away. I had the Grilled Sea Bass; which was lush. My friends had the Pork ribs and the Black & Blue burger. They both really enjoyed their food. They've got a really good selection of wines. We went for the Argentinian Malbec; which for the price was of very good quality. We will definitely be back!!!

This Covent Garden pub has traditional bar service on the ground floor, and a waited dining room on the upper floor. The food consisted of standard British fare, though was prepared at a level that puts it apart from similar establishments. The service was friendly and inviting, though both the pub and dining room can get rather crowded before (or after) evening west end shows. This place makes a great place to grab a quick dinner and some drinks before a show, or if you only have one night in London.

On my first visit in London City I was determined to find a place where I could enjoy genuine english Fish&Chips for the first time in my life. Walking from London Eye over the Golden Jubilee Bridge I was heading for Covent Garden, when I suddenly stumbled over The White Swan on june, 17th, appr. 1 o'clock pm. At the door there was a sign telling me that here I would find the finest Fish&Chips in the City. I entered the pub and ordered exactly that. And I was not disappointed at all. I really enjoyed this delicious meal, the atmosphere and the service-minded staff. I really recommend this place and I will surely get back to it soon and order another Fish&Chips.
