C. G. J.I've been here a couple of times for Cybil's House and always have a great time.
The atmosphere is really friendly, from the doorstaff at the entrance to the queer party goers on the dancefloor and all the performances inbetween.
It's a cozy venue with three rooms across two floors with comfy seating on the sides so I can easily go from dancing like beyoncé to singing-a-long to a pop classic to chatting about drag inspirations on a sofa and then starting all over again.
D. C.I have been frequenting The White Swan for many years now and I have to say it has a special place in my heart. They always have something to offer for everyone. Music is always great and the acts are top notch. If you've never been yet then I recommend you give it a try, It's all been refurbished with a basement night-club due to be open in summer, so an exciting time!
C. W.FANTASTIC FABULOUS NIGHT. One of the only true gay venue's that still cater and care for the lesbian and gay community. Great music, Great Djs and GREAT drag queens always. Love the Swan and thank goodness it's still here after all these years.

t. p.wat a great place, not been for many years and wow what a change. hello art deco and a great new club in the basement. went on saturgay (love the name) and cybils house party was on. great atmosphere and fab people. had a blast. love the new look of this old bird, looking forward to the birthday bash on Saturday 27th august 31 years . got a great line up. defo a great new venue with good bar prices and friendly staff
W. P.I go reguarly to the Swan. Especially enjoy the Piano bar night with CJ and Jackir d'Ripper. Great fun. No attitude from security always a "Hi". Cheap drinks until 11pm.. bottle of wine/prosecco £9.99 to £15. Where in London do you get those prices. Age problem! I will be celebrating my 71st birthday there next week.
P. S.A long-standing staple of London's gay scene and one of the few remaining venues in London's East End, the White Swan is a rather seedy joint that's really geared towards gay men. Not that they're unwelcoming but heterosexuals might want to look elsewhere for somewhere else to have a drink - it can be very full-on at times, especially on Wednesday nights...
J. S.Very friendly atmosphere supreme variety acts also under refurbishment which looks very nice, not sure about the seedy thing unless it's because it's not a big glitzy place with a commercially branded name! It's what's on the inside that counts and the security I found was comforting

GREAT NEW /OLD VENUE, BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE IV BEEN HERE, AND I MUST SAY WHAT A GREAT NEW LOOK. GONE IS THE BLACK AND DINGY CLUB, HELLO BRAND NEW CLUB AND DECOR.
GREAT MUSIC AND CABARET . WENT BACK FOR THE SUNDAY 3 OF A KIND AND CHEAP DRINKS AND CABARET. HAD THE BEST DAY. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 31ST BIRTHDAY BASH.
