Reviews of The William Morris
B. G. S.
Very nice atmosphere, full of life. Honestly, cannot understand why they only have a 5 star average here. Staff is kind, the interior is nice. Huge variety of drinks. The food is also ok. Of course not super high quality, but come on, this is a bar. Have not visited the toilet tho, cannot comment about that. Maybe that is the weak point?
M. P.
Wearherspoon pubs are brilliant 👍 😍
An excellent business model that should be adopted by all pub chains.
If you can get past the ludicrously cheap beer / drinks in the William Morris and take the time to look at the consideration put into the decor you will be just as impressed.
P. S.
A Wetherspoon’s traditional breakfast, with bottomless tea or coffee, for under £5, is not to be sniffed at.
I visited this pub a couple of weeks ago, with my friend, whilst on our way to see his Mum.
A very decent breakfast, served by pleasant and efficient staff, is always a good thing, and the fact the food fills you up without breaking the bank, is another recent to eat there.
I’ll return again for sure, as you know what you are getting and the prices are great.

Good pub very reasonable prices as expected from a Weatherspoons pub.Great selection of food at very good prices with fast and efficient service. Great selection of drinks.
Can get busy. Toilets usually very clean and tidy
E. C.
Spoons. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the oil often. Your fries at every spoons I've been to have this issue. It's gross. Tastes bitter and nasty. Hella nasty.
Nice interior here. Gets way way too busy in the evening. Wish they wouldn't put ice in the tap water. Too cold for me.

I used to live Hammersmith area when I was a student. I walked passed this pub several times, but I didn't go there as I was saving money at that time.
Now I travel London sometimes and often come back this area and visit here for beer & food.
Pricing is reasonable and cheaper compare with the central London. And I think foods are also decent. I also like the atmosphere. It's quite English pub.
Not only for beer but also I can have coffee and cake in the afternoon or for breakfast in the morning.
J. D.
I was actually blown away by the service today, everything was ordered from the table then brought to us, the prices where incredibly cheap, all the staff had masks on, and was not a single issue with anything, I will definitely be visiting agian.
S. T.
İf you want a decent quick pub food this is the place. Most reasonable prices. Definitely check out. And refill tea and coffee is the best part.

Great Spoons with excellent service! Shoutouts to the blonde manager who was smily and cheerful on shift on Valentine's day 2022 around 2:pm!
Cold drinks and a warm welcome = good times!

Good food with best price and lovely waitress. I recommend all the time !!!
R. Z.
Great service - quick and pleasant staff.
The toilets were also relatively clean and the toilet paper holder was great as the paper did not snap by itself.
Had a lovely breakfast there!
G. C.
My first time in the William Morris. Nice big pub. Friendly attentive staff and obviously still following covid 19 protocols.
Loads of seating. Fast service and a great menu to order from. For a big boozer it was spotless and the toilet area was very clean.
Like all weatherspoons great prices considering you will normally pay a fiver for a pint of larger in most local boozers.
P.
Fantastic food for an amazing price. Good atmosphere.
M. M.
Lovely staff, the beer is good and the food also.
I hate recommending it as I may not be able to find a seat in future.
Nice place to have a drink.
L. S.
Great nice big weatherspoons pub near Hammersmith apollo. Friendly service etc.
M. K.
First visit; swapped chips for jacket potato in app, still received chips... she said she could take it back but I was already freezing at the table outside so I refused. Also the "small fish" looked like a fried stripe of fish (could only see the fried bit and no fish perhaps they just breaded fish spine and fried it...).
I wouldn't call it a fried fish, was very disappointed with that great "deal" food.
Second experience, asked security if I can sit in the more private area as he stood in front of me, he said something but apparently I looked away before he replied
( a friend told me i haven't noticed sorry about that!),
So... I ordered for nearly 50 pounds for 3 of us, and wasn't sure if the table number was correct.... So I went to the tills area to make sure, the guy asked me what I ordered, I said it was a big order and each person had a different plate, but I had the order number in the app so I can show him (he looked kinda angry and bothered) and then checked the order number and confirmed it was the right table.
Here's where trouble starts;
on my way back a friend was coming back from toilet so the guy who confirmed my order saw both of us ,
we look quite young and went back to our table,
our pitchers (2jugs) arrived and there was 3 of us ( waiter brought no glasses until we asked him later)
when we tried the pitchers we felt NO ALCOHOL IN IT what so ever....
I look about 20 but I'm 32 my other friend is 29 and another friend is 22, we all look quite young but I think becouse of the fact that I looked so young our jugs had no alcohol in it.
If you must be this mean please ask for ID instead of just not putting any alcohol in both pitchers I payed around 12 pounds for , I didn't order juice that would cost me far less.
We came there becouse at first we tried the pitcher in tortilla and we were very disappointed, they forgot about us so we waited like 30 minutes and then asked someone, and they brought us a jug full of ice which later spilled on the table while we tried to put it into glasses.... so we thought here 2 jugs for 12 pounds that were not frozen was the greatest deal for us but ended up being disappointed again... cmon hammersmith
So my review;
Small fish ; ridiculous wouldn't call it fish.
Maybe kitchen or bartender (or waiter but I doubt they control orders) staff attention to order needs to be improved ( swapped fries for jacket potato and still received fries).
The Asian guy on the bar needs to be nicer and maybe it was my imagination but you can't just give pitchers with only juice to someone who ordered it with alcohol in it.
I havent complained as I have no proof but that was very unprofessional from him (or whoever filled up the jugs)
I'm giving 4 stars for now for bad fish and no alcohol in pitchers I will improve to 5 ⭐ on my next visit if I can accualy feel any alcohol in the 12 pound jugs and if I recive correct order and normal small fish not a breaded stripe or spine of fish , if order will not be correct again I'm gonna reduce to 3 ⭐.
Overall great great place and prices but needs a slight improvement.
E. O.
Great value drinks
Great staff
Good managers when I'm there
Food is good value for money, ya can't go wrong really
A. C.
Good food, great prices, friendly staff.
Outdoor seating by Lyric Square and very large indoor seating. Part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme (50% off food and soft drinks)
N. A.
I really can't get over the prices. Staff are very very well mannered and know their job. Huge spacious bar with great seating and... a bar menu to please anybody. 10mins on the train.. it may be my new local.
D. B.
Pleasant surroundings in a wetherspoons pub. I used the app for ordering food which worked well and came out to the table quickly. The staff were pleasant and curtious and the pub was larger than was expected. There was a good selection of drinks as you would expect. All in all not a bad place for a cheap meal and a pint.
T. S.
Good Wetherspoon's in Hammersmith. Good service. Reasonable prices, great outside seating
S. G.
A very nice place! Tasty food and a lot of beers.
Quite empty wallet? Don't worry it's cheaper as well.
I spent some funny moments there with friends and colleagues.
K. J. (.
Great atmosphere cheap as chips. Staff are great and friendly, would advise to come in earlier during busier times to get a seat.
k. R.
Nice little pub lovely food really enjoyed my visit there
A. W.
Let's be honest. The place never was very clean or cosy. However, you can eat there great chicken tikka and drink a glass of crispy chardonnay for a ridiculous price. And if they forget to give you mango chutney, just ask. The service is ok.
S. C.
Nice breakfast for an affordable price.
V. B.
Walked in on a Tuesday evening around 6pm and the place was filled surprisingly with families!
It’s just across the Hammersmith station and on the Kings street, the main shopping area.
The seatings are pretty much divided and extends from one end of the road to another with damn good outdoor seating that’s non smoking area.
Loved the outdoor space. Worth visiting when in and around Hammersmith!
G. R.
Another fine Wetherspoons pub near Hammersmith Undeground Station. Nice outdoor tables outside the Pub facing the Lyric Theatre. Really friendly staff and a good selection of Ales and of coures Wethespoons Food.
r. m.
from middlesborough going to qpr mixture of home and away fans good atmosphere quick service UTB
d. g.
Excelent! The staff is so friendly, the music fantastic and the atmosphere is awesome.
J. T.
This breakfast place is definitely underpriced for its quality of food. Interior is much brighter and cozier after renovation. Food has always been as delicious as I have known. It is like the home-made kinda breakfast, but much better. My all time favourite has to be their traditional breakfast, add on avocado. Self-service of drink-til-you-are-full-coffee-or-tea with one fixed price. Impeccable. Must visit breakfast place in London xx
G. E.
Ok its a Spoons, but it is one of the best Spoons. Had steak, it was pretty good, and amazing value. 4 Stars cos its a Spoons!
T. L.
Cheaperwhen compared to other pubs on food and drinks but it's incredibly delicious. Great place to hang out with friends. Really busy on Saturdays.
k. C.

Lovely stereotypical wooden pub interior with pretty William Morris inspired carpets. I enjoyed the little bits of information about the artist on display throughout. The food is as good as at any other 'Spoons and the service was good. Very lively crowd and great atmosphere. Vibe check passed.
P. K.
Nice pub to have Breakfast or Lunch. It’s normally busy but it’s having a large seating area
A. P.
Classic spoons, rowdy and over crowded in the evening but lovely and accommodating staff.
B. S.
Lovely pub, friendly atmos.... shame the aircon was broken when me and my partner was there.
P. L.
It's a Wetherspoons. You know what to expect. Food was good and the beer selection was excellent.
C.
Very very busy place, lots of dishes out of stock. Most of the staff friendly, a few kinda dismissive but could be due to the place being really busy.
K. W.
Its a fascinating place, like being transported back to Hogarthian London. Lovely service from staff, sit down and literally watch the world go by.
D. S.
Clean and COVID aware. Pleasant staff. Only drop in score is for taking my order to another table and me then having to go to the bar to chase it up, although this was corrected straight away.
P. R.
Just in for a few pints and a bite to eat. Very good!
App working well with plenty of nice staff, so beer and food arriving quickly, considering the size of this establishment.
Thank you and another pint please ☺️👍😎
Returned here on Sat 10th July 2021 and enjoyed more good service and beer. Orrded a pint on the app and it was on my table in 1 min & 44 secs, this was on a busy Sat night about 9:30, now that is impressive!
T. B.
Enjoyed a meal and nice atmosphere. Pub had procedures in place so felt comfortable. Reasonable prices.
A. W.
Huge pub but can never get a table in the evening. Prices are very fair and beer is always fresh
M. C.

Very busy in The Pub. Had Fish, Chips and Peas. The Chips were Cold and so were The Peas. It would appear that the Staff were rushed off their feet!!

Nice pub, clean and decent beers. Prices are good too. Nice and big, loads of space.

Still serving after concert at the Apollo when many others were shut. Friendly staff nice place for after concert drink
A. B.
Right out side Underground Station excellent value for London similar to Cardiff prices.
M. G.
Cheap and Very nice pub, a lots of space and sits in and outside, common tap list for london and also something in bottles or cans.
The Food is ok.
J. P.
Enjoyable lunch, pleasant service and a good selection of ale.Recommended.
K. S.
As with most Wetherspoons pubs I've been to, friendly staff and value for money food and drink.
A. S.
What can I say about a place I've been drinking in since I was 14? It's dreadful. Awful. Boozy. And I'll probably die in there.
D. A.
Excellent Wetherspoon pub. All table service at the moment via the app, card readers or cash. Had breakfast which was ready in 6 minutes. Free coffee refills. Staff on hand to check on you. 👍
C. S.
Good beer and food, good prices and nice staff. 👍
F. P.
Fairly quick service, friendly staff, great value for money like always, really recommend steak day deals.
m. t.
Very good Wetherspoons in a convenient location. Good choice of drinks. Food excellent and great value as ever. Brilliant staff.
D. J.
Enjoyed our visit here. Table service arrived very promptly and the Elgoods Plum Porter was delicious 😋!
G. W.
A Good Spoons pub Good food quick service with plenty of staff around Toilets downstairs excellent Disabled on street level
N. B.
Cheap ans student friendly! They have vegan ans vegataruan options too. The place is usually crowded. Try their dessert, they are amazing!
M. P. N. (. P.
Absolutely PACKED! So if people say they have no money, hmm., I wonder what they spend it on. I enjoyed the haddock & salmon fish cakes & salad BUT, this is a Wetherspoon's eating house and I'm afraid that I was given shriveled bits of rocket which the barmaid told the chef for me. What do YOU say, Wetherspoon's?📸
S. S.
They bought the weong drink out then made us come to the bar and explain what was wrong after already explaining to someone at our table they said it was vodka and coke when it was a spiced rum and coke we ended up just taking it back to the table
Y. B.
Friendly and efficient service, quick food preparation and a great atmosphere.
L. A.
This place is very cheap, you can have party in there or just study for your exams.
Food is realy good
N. B.

D. D.
It's not great, but it's a spoons. As they go, it's pretty alright.
D. T.
Great spoons but can be a bit crowded
m. s.
Usually have a very good range of real ales however the toilets leave a lot to be desired
Greatly improved after refurbishment
S. D.
The food is good, staff polite but absolutely no adherence to the wearing of mask rule for customers when moving around the pub , sadly the staff don’t seem to care ?!?
S. F.
Lovely comfortable Wetherspoons place, will pop in there again for a couple of ales 😀
A. K. S. (.
One of my favourite pub in Hammersmith. Excellent prices, and delicious food.
D. S.
Realy nice pub very clean friendly and the curry lovely
J. A.
Had quite relaxed breakfast about 8 30am
M. G.
Very cosy And well come.and the one in Leighton buzzard .
K. A.
Food good value for money, and service with a smile. Food took about 10-15 mins. Very large pub plenty of seating but was busy but still found seating together for 10 of us with kids. Its was busy due to the fans from a local football club but caused us no problems, just enjoying the run up to the game.
J. E.
It is a traditional pub with a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. The service was excellent There was a good mix of regulars, locals and tourists. Our group of 10 was greeted at the door and the staff went out of their way to make space for my group with 3 visually impaired people and a guide dog.
I would definitely go there again to meet up with friends for drinks or have a meal.
d. n.
A hustling bustling environment but no complaints on wait time or staff courtesy. Very enjoyable experience.
J. F.
Great food, quick service and a great atmosphere
K. M.
Good service great beer drink was cheap as chips food looked good loved the place
G. K.
It's a witherspoon food fast and cheap
D. K. W.
Was a good venue for a quick pint. Decent al decent price.
E. S.
Good pub near Hammersmith tube station. Usual range of extensive beers and other drinks and food at unbeatable prices. Staff on the ball and coping well under the undemocratic restrictions imposed by our clueless government and their so called advisers.
M. B.
Typical Witherspoons
But great table service and fast
B. B.
Good place to relax good choice of drinks and very friendly staff. Unfortunately the website doesn't portray the great variety of drinks available
N. S.
Easy 5 star. Best pub for miles. But I should mention the Plow and Harrow down the street is not bad. Pints are cheap! Nice variety of Ales and Bitter. Art on the wall are cool. Recent refurb with nice new carpet. Most people there are on the level. Great place to have a morning pint and a Full English and think about mastering life.
C. H.
Great for a night out; Young Lively and fun.
M. T.
Delicious and affordable food and drinks! Fast and great service
W. M.
I didn't know whetherspoon's are this cheap. Great location, selection and service. Cheers
R. B.
Absolutely fantastic little place love the beer and food. Staff always happy to help service with a smile. Will never step foot in another pub again absolutely brilliant can't recommend this place enough. Find me in there every Friday after work!!
S. P.
Cheap drinks, but it's full of loud university aged people. Very busy on weekend nights, so they have a few security guards. But you should still watch your bags! Staff were really nice though. The man who helped me shielded my PIN from view with his hand when I paid by card.
K. D.
The service from behind the bar was very good. The food was typical pub food but nice and well presented. I was a little concerned about cleanliness but in the place, nothing to do with the food. The tables were not cleaned frequently enough to keep up with the number of customers and the bathroom was very dirty. Having said that, it's a great place to meet friends for drinks.
m. d.
It was steak night so I had a large mixed girl was cooked really well and great service
C. B.
I stopped going to this pub years ago for the fact it was packed, very loud and people were pretty rude.
Visited again recently for a cheap dinner before going to see Ghost Stories at the Lyric.
It was still the same! Don't get me wrong, a busy pub is a sign of a good pub... But everyone is pretty much having to shout to speak to anyone they are with, it's hard to get anywhere near the bar for a drink and it's always full of rude mouthy people.
Food was good though, just glad we managed to get table service otherwise we would never had got any food or drink!
A. B.
Excellent value for money. Speedy service.
J. D.
It's a spoons! The same great value even close to London!
R. F. S.
The prices are great as always. However, as you probably know, if you go to zone 3,4 or further you will pay a bit less. The quality of the food, quantity and drinks are imbatible. I would also like to mention that the customer service was good but they couldn't take card payments at the bar, however you can use an app to order and pay straight away which is great. The waitress are always focused to remove anything from your table if you finish to clean and leave more space for you. Thank you this experience.
b. d.
Great pub good atmosphere but slow service need more staff
S. W.
A busy Wetherspoons.....had to wait a long time for my Friday fish and chips but staff apologised. I guess they are getting used to this table service only requirement. No ale....only lager....a problem with the pumps. But, hey, I just love Wetherspoons so they are forgiven!
P. D.
Since the refurb this place seems better. Wetherspoon's prices and the meal of the day offers make this an easy choice for a quick lunch. The app allows you to order from the table with is brill. Food is not to bad either considering the low prices.
D.
Reasonably cheap prices. Cheapest pint will cost you 2 quid and that's doom bar. A double Jameson with coke is around 5.70. Honestly amazing. Fish and chips with a drink on a Friday is 7.99. Spaces are hard to come by on evenings, especially weekends but if you hang around you'll get one. Recommended.
J. K.
A lovely standard spoons. Lots of seating although it does get very busy. Decent prices for drinks and The food is very average. A favourite spot of mine to gather with friends but not family. Right next to Hammersmith station so rather convenient.
H. M.
Good prices, good service, good food
S. I.
Good food , great value and service
L. J.
Great interior and customer service in general; great spacing for customers; only query is how busy it was allowed to be. Business is important but letting it get to an unmanageable state lessens the experience
K. A. k.
Good food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I. S.
I go to Wetherspoons fairly frequently for breakfast and I really really enjoy it; definitely much better value for money than the lunches, which I guess are also relatively well priced here. Apart from a few minor issues with incorrect orders, which are usually rectified without any hassle and quite quickly, I'd say this is definitely a really nice pub to enjoy a meal and drink at with the family.
T. B.
Standard Wetherspoons set up. Was super busy on Friday night, but didn't have any problems getting served fairly quickly. Not much room outside for drinking, and tables were all full when we were there. Good pints though, just £1.99 for Doom Bar.
S. J.
Plenty of space, decent prices (especially the traditional English breakfast for around £5. One of the best value breakfasts I've found in London). I've been here twice and the food has always been decent. Only downside is the serving of the notoriously poor Lavazza coffee. If you don't mind that then you might be interested in the refillable coffee option with your breakfast.
G. B.
Really depends who is working. Some staff are lovely, some aren't. I came here in a group about a year ago and my friend got accused of doing coke in the toilets. Her dad's a recovering addict and she doesn't even drink alcohol, but we got kicked out. I think it was because we were students?? But other times I've had a great time here.
m. a.
Go there every week after squash for drinks and dinner. The app makes ordering so much better. Food is consistent and value for money. Only annoying thing is that sometimes it's so busy, you can't find a table
C. G.
Nice pub, lots of tables and people, fast serving, nice staff, good prices, excellent value for money
k. k. s. c.
Easily one of the shabbiest and best pubs I've ever been to! The prices are amazing. It's right in the middle of Hammersmith - Bottom country as I call it. Take a few quid with you, grab some of their inexpensive food and stay there all day. The staff are great. Just behave yourself, relax and have a few drinks. You'll love it...
P. K.
This is solid average pub, with regular people, very average food and fairly low prices. Don’t have high expectations and you will not be disappointed. If you want a cheap place to get drunk and have fun with friends and snack up on some unhealthy pub food, this it the place to be. Viva la spoons.
R. S.
Large pub with a good range in the bar, excellent food and extremely prompt service. Also tried it for breakfast and again was superb, which includes coffee refills. Good options for vegetarians and vegans.
M. W.
I can put up with a lot when beer is £2.25 in a London pub. Fortunately, this branch of a well-known chain is perfectly pleasant with polite, efficient staff. No wonder its busy on a Tuesday in February!
J. A. S.
Very clean, nice friendly staff, good food. Quick service, no waiting around.
C. H.
Lovely staff and lovely pub
T. W.
Good value pub grub!
t.
Not bad, was clean and service was quick.
R. L.
A busy and popular public house. I call in for a mug of tea and breakfast. The food is adequate and the tea satisfactory. It is inexpensive and meets requirements. The toilets are clean and tidy. Sometimes there is a wait to make your order at the bar but staff do rush to help everyone as quickly as they can. It is okay.
C. M.
Yer had a great time with my girlfriend 100% good place to go for food and drinks
E. B.
Not my choice. Group for early post work drinks. Space for our group was easy to find. Bar staff helpful if not particularly engaging. Clean enough.
E. E.
Big place with good range of beer, wine and spirits. Very odd mix of people, but not in a bad way. Stars off for the constant shortage of staff behind the bar. Takes ages to be served as multiple of employees wandering around the place doing other stuff
N. K.
Come here to meet up with friends, the drinks are always a good price especially the 2 pitchers for £12. Food here is decent and does the job. Always quite a wait on the food too so I wouldn't eat here in a rush. The staff do take a while with drinks but are friendly. I wouldn't suggest using the restrooms they're very old and usually quite dirty.
S. R.
Quick service, nice food, worked really well on our departure from London.
L. S.
Fairly good as wetherspoons go. Food and drink usually takes a short while to arrive if you order on the app but the bar is also very busy so it's hard to weigh that up. A bit of a scramble for good seats in a booth for example but altogether a good place to meet up.
I. G.
Typical Wetherspoons.
Great offers on at the moment.
J. Y. M.
It’s a good Wetherspoon’s. The food is always a bit production line but it is cheap and there is a lot of choice but in these days of financial woes it’s great to buy a pint for £3. It’s like getting into a beer time machine and going back 15 years. Beer selection is always good and you can order from your table via their app, bonkers. It’s a ‘spoons don’t beer a snob. Ha ha.
M. R.
Very nice atmosphere (even though some people act a little snooty). I enjoyed myself I was there for less than an hour. Proper grub... I got crispy skinny chips with steak very well done...
T. R.
Was good. Being a northerner it felt good to pay normal prices for beer and actually buy 2 pints for less than a fiver. Why the rest of London charges the amounts they do for beer when ya have Wetherspoons who are setting a president. It baffles me as to why people drink in other places.
J. M.
Food was well priced, generous and good, the venue was nice and clean and had a good 'London pub' feel to it.
Servers werent friendly, ordered at the bar for a table of 6 and had to carry all our drinks to the table myself.
D. K.
Been here a few times for breakfast or lunch as work nearby. Large so you'll always get a seat at those times (I've never tried evening). It's a little gloomy relying on very yellow artificial light unless you sit near the doors at either end. No music and screens on mute showing the news (with subtitles).
Service at the bar can be a little impersonal/slow. Drinks are at the pricier end of the wetherspoons scale, but still cheaper than everywhere else around. Food is slightly disappointing - sometimes warm rather than hot and often the servings of chips/salads on dishes that include them are rather small. However, even during busy lunch food is served very quickly making it possible to be in and out in half hour.
Overall ideal for lunch break if, like me, your aims sustenance, value and speed!
S. P.
Monday cub, best deals, super cool
A. O.
One of best low cost pub in central-west London. Great prices for Ale, best transport from other parts of city and nice atmosphere.
S. S.
Authentic Weatherspoons experience. Good selection of drinks (especially ales) service is cheerful even when it's very busy. Popular student destination as it's about half the price of other surrounding pubs, can get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Food is very reasonable and arrives very quickly.
D. W.
Great beer at amazing prices. Good food and excellent service.
R. W.
Not a bad pub. Prices brillant.
Tonight, Friday. PUB SPOILT BY NOISY COLLEGE STUDENTS, Imperial college I think.
M. J.
The busier of the two Spoons in Hammersmith. Can get quite busy on occasions and difficult to find a table. Therefore recommend finding a table and ordering on the App. If you go to the bar to be served, a couple of the staff seem to serve people they know before you, even if you have been waiting there a while longer. The food is typical spoons fare of good price and quality. Although all Wetherspoons practically have the same menu, it is not always served at the same consistent quality. At the William Morris I rate it amongst one of the best for food quality and not dripping in grease like some other spoons serve up.
G. P.
Your local Wetherspoons in Hammersmith. Not the best of the places, friendly crowd that might become rowdy, lots of different people at every hour of the day.
It's definitely the place you want to visit with friends or tourists, to have a drink or a reasonable meal. Nothing fancy, just a simple pub.
The place is clean and the waiting team gentle.
R. B.
Warm atmosphere, nice hearty food.
c. s.
Second visit ordered all day brunch won't be doing it again
K. J.
Lovely steak great beer.
L. B.
Despite being very busy (BGT at Hammersmith Apollo) the food arrived within 20 mins. Had to send burger back add it was cold but received another 5 mins later which was very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money. Lovely burger, triple cooked chips and soft drink less than £7. Only disappointment was the coleslaw side although 75p it was teeny no more than a desert spoon. Would rather pay a little more for a decent portion.
M. F.
A great pub, good food and excellent service as I have become accustomed to from Wetherspoon Pubs. The William Morris is conveniently situated close Hammersmith Underground station and all the shops. It is very busy at lunchtime and although it's very big it gets very busy. It has a lovely atmosphere and as always it's such a pleasure to read about the name of the particular pub, in this case the famous Williams Morris.
B. K.
This place is great for a drink, altho it's a challenge at the bar sometime, food is hit or miss. Few times had the mixed grill it's been dry and not very hot. It's also came out 2-3 mins after ordering says it all really reheated or kept on hot plates.
other than this I can't fault the bar staff there really nice and always chat away
M. D.
Really good spoons with lovely staff... can't really beat a spoons for value and good food.
C. R.
Had a nice time, food was very good love the chicken wings. Had to wait to get in past, only due to covid rules and the extra need of students. But didnt wait long.
C. N.
One of the best Weatherspoons around...Quick table service, polite staff & clean bathrooms. Doing best thru Covid for safety. Recommend chicken bites!
V. S.
Classic weatherspoon with all is good and bad side. This one is a massive place and only one bar. They must have been very undermanned for a Friday evening because after 9 the service became very slow! But extra point for the staff who redud the food after I mixed up the table numbers!
A. R. G.
The day was kind of cool, but the hamburger I had, I think it was the Empire State one, was awesome, abtad overdone for my taste but not a big deal.
G. D. G.
Was here with a friend during steak night. You can get steak and chips with a drink for under £10, great for London prices. Good quality meat. The atmosphere is one a crowded British pub
J. W.
Low price with good food
P. M.
Great pub with a Wetherspoons inside where there is a good menu of food to suit most peolple. Wide choice of alcoholic drinks. Service is quick and effecient. We ate and drank there before going to the Eventim Apollo which is 5 mins walk away.
K. Š.
Cheap meals and the vibe is great!
C. M.
Very good food for good price
J. o.
What can you say about this iconic pub in Hammersmith... A place where you can find a table with 4 old ladies celebrating their birthdays next to a teen-ager having his first beer or even a homeless man having a Guinness.... Lots of wild life... Lots to learn... Good and cheap pints! Count me in! 😅😅😅
T. A.
Top notch vegetarian breakfast. Eggs cooked to perfection with runny yolks. Everything came within 5 minuts maybe even less. The flavour of the ingredients was top notch. Even the grilled tomatoe had so much flavour. How can they do it all for 3.30? The filter coffee was the bees knees. So much flavour. Outstanding staff. They asked if my food was ok. Nice young and polite staff. Excellent.
M. G.
Its a wetherspoons. Obviously good value food and drinks. Somewhat slow service compared to other spoons, but overall OK. If your looking for a classy London pub then walk down the the river. If your looking for a pint under £4 then it's perfect!
R. M.
Great Coffee, excellent wines and the food is good value for money. Am local to this area and will often pop in and as a women never feel out of place. Rosie
D. W.
Large pub with 2 access points but the bar could be a little bigger for its size as it does get '3 deep' at times. Food rather nice and everything quite cheap as its a wetherspoon. Toilets located downstairs.
D. M.
Good service nice staff, however my whiskey came pre mixed with no option to not have a mixer. Hence 4 stars
I. W.
Very friendly staff ,Good signs to follow ie COVID unfortunately not all patrons were following ie using the exit door to enter and vice versa
D. B.
I like Wetherspoons. This one is comfy, cosy, friendly service, clean, and of course the prices are pretty much unbeatable for this kind of space. Really great value. The Teriyaki noodles portion was disappointing, I will say. 5 stars when the vegan menu is expanded - especially with a decent burger option.
B. S.
This is my local pub which I visit very regularly. I was in there late yesterday afternoon 23/12/2015. It is a good, well run Wetherespoons with good beers and value for money food. It amuses and annoys me when people say: "The waiter was rude!" They are not waiters. They are available bar staff bringing meals to tables. If you want waiters and restaurant service go to a restaurant! Well done William Morris team!
H. L.
Nothing special just the same as any other witherspoons up and down the country
G. Y.
Pleasant enough Wetherspoons, everything much as one would expect. Visited at around 10.45am and ordered eggs Benedict. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good, as was the accompanying coffee. The place was badly let down, however, by the gent's toilets. They were foul smelling, and had broken fixtures including door locks and toilet seats. There was also a good deal of graffiti on the walls of the cubicles. Very unpleasant. Shame, as it spoilt an otherwise good visit.
O. L.
Great place to have breakfast or dinner, as well as a pint with friends. Staff is really friendly, prices are reasonable. On weekends it’s super busy, but the atmosphere is great.
C. H.
Good food and beer at great prices
A. G.
It can get very crowded but the it is ok for a quick meal, I like that the menu shows the calories of each dish I also like their chips.
The drinks are fairly priced.
C. P.
Quick service and food was hot.
S. M.
Good service and fare prices but overcooked
M. W.
Beer and other alcoholic drinks at very good prices - £2.10 for a pint of best bitter beer. Food is simple, tasty, even if the portions could be larger.
M. M.
Part of the Wetherspoon chain, this one located in the heart of Hammersmith. Nice guest cask ales, good pub food, hundred of tables. Good for groups and lone driving too. Close to the station so easy to get home after all.
A. K.
The beer is cheap, properly poured and the selection is great. Good food and authenitc atmosphere too. The staff are all either drunk, lost in the clouds or really angry but I don't mind, that's part of the authenticity if u really think about it
C.
Top pub great selection of beers at very good prices and reasonably priced menu. Very good, hard working and friendly staff.
Only downer silly TV policy dictated by Wetherspoon higher management, with numerous screens they can't put on channels other than those proscribed by WS HQ. Consequently, despite customer requests, top sporting events like Andy Murray at the French Open can't be shown, even on 1 screen because or HQ dictates so. So they lose a star.Otherwise, great boozer!
T. B.
A typical Weatherspoons. I wanted a hot chocolate, was given a chocolate cube on a stick and a mug to get hot milk from the machine. A very non environmentally friendly system. Chocolate cube had a plastic bag outer cardboard label and a stick through the chocolate. If you have a machine why can that not make a hot chocolate drink?
L. W.
You know what you are getting when you go to a Wetherspoons. We went there for the cheap drinks before seeing a concert at the Apollo which is very close by. We got a jug of cocktail for two and a plate of chips for under a tenner. Stay classy right? London prices can often be shocking so to find a Wetherspoon's close by was very handy. It's large inside so lots of seating and a mix of age groups. Perfect for what we were looking for pre concert.
I. A.
Classic Wetherspoon near the Hammersmith station.
We had a lot of the entrees, and they were all good. As usual, Wetherspoon prices; two pints and one cider for £9.19, and every three entrees £10. We thought they were small plates. Oh boy they were not.
The security staff and the waiters were quite nice. No inconvenients.
L. F.
There is a really good selection of beers, often 6-8 casks with some really top-end beers on some weeks, and it's absurdly cheap for London. The food is pretty standard Wetherspoons, but again, very well priced. The only drawbacks are that the decor is a bit tatty and it sometimes gets a little rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights. The toilets are often not that clean either.
A. A.
Daily Rumi establishment excellent value for money being a Wetherspoons and I'm well travelled around the Wetherspoons the country
A. E.
Great traditional British pub. You can find cheap food and drinks. I recommend the English breakfast, they also have vegan option.
D. A.
Fam this place is as random as the current deal with brexit. Always getting unexpected people in there and crowds are quite big. Selection of booze and price is comparable to te local chippy. Saw a massive queue of people at the bar and just ordered from my phone and a b***h brought me my drinks and wings before those c**ts standing at the bar.
l. m.
It's a wetherspoons - does exactly what it says on the tin. Pleasant staff and establishment.
D. P.
Absolutely delicious. Good vibe, fast service, tasty food. Will definitely come back again when I fancy a pub lunch/dinner.
T. D.
Excellent range, good service and Yorkshire prices! That'll do!
M. L.
They have a lot of choices for breakfast and brunch with reasonable price, plus you can help refill your coffee as much as you want. Best place for breakfast and lunch or just chill out . The place also pretty big.
M.
Great place to have breakfast, had a full English with unlimited coffee for £5. The whole place has been refurbished and the toilets are very clean too.
S. S.
Good selection of beer and snacks. The meal is decent as well. Good seating option. They could do with better cleaning however, specially the tables. There's WIFI.
C. N.
Nice beer and good food. Good atmosphere
M. S.
Really nice Wetherspoons pub. Lots of seating, but it's always crowded so sometimes it's hard to find seating. Great food and a range of alcoholic beverages as always. I never knew before, but Wetherspoons now have an app which allows you to pay and order both food and drinks from the app and have it delivered to where you are sitting, I know it sounds lazy, but it really helps when there is a crowd gathered around the bar.
D. l.
We order vegetarian the lasagne was not, they spend 30 mn to give the vegetarian one. They forget to give the drink include in the meal. The food was average, not bad but nothing special.
H. G. L.
Very nice breakfast
J.
Good staff. Hundred times better than plough & harrow further down the road. Don't go there to that pub.
C. S.
I broke my spoons virginity here in 2008, not truly knowing what spoons was, or what it would mean to me.
18 years old, I wonder into the William Morris as it's the first pub I see when I come out the station and it's somewhere to perch and maybe get some food before a gig in the Apollo.
It was a Thursday and the mix grill was on offer. I'd turned 18 less than a week before and was one of the oldest in my school year so this was new to everyone. A large mixed grill and a pint for less than £10???? In London no less?!
Needless to say, my heart was won. 10 years later I'm back in the place it all started. So many Wetherspoons memories from so many different cities. Although this isn't my favourite spoons, it will always have a special place in my heart
A. G.
Nice little Weatherspoons with garden, smoking area and lots of seating
L. P.
I have been here just once but the interior of this restaurant is very nice and I like this place! The biggest motivation are great prices for meals, taste of meals and nice personal. If I will want go for delicious meals to somewhere sure I visit this restaurant!
E. O.
very nice atmosphere and lovely helpful staff
T. H.
It's a great meeting place if you can get a table it's best to download the wetherspoons app to get drinks and food to your table coz the bar gets well busy and can take forever to get served
B. S.
Great food on reasonable price. No stupid music, good selection of drinks, and lovely bar maidens.
Drinks are cheap as well. And i just happened to had my life's best Birthdays party over there.
E. P.
Nice place , like it ! Friendly people and good food .recommending to everyone .
P. W.
Wonderwall nice place. Cosy place to have breakfast or lunch.
C. d. l. v. (.
The food was really good but the service was quite poor. One waiter was extremely rude to us when we told him that the starters should have come before the mains... He actually turned around and left without even apologising and left me speaking to nobody. And when we went to complain to the manager, apparently he was the manager.
They mixed up the orders, and when half of us were already eating they came to say they actually didn't have any roast chicken left. 3 people were left without food until almost all of us finished.
After a lot of discussions we managed to squeeze an apology from them and got the coffees for free. I have to say that i wouldn't have minded the mix up with the food if they had been nicer/smiling from the beginning and had apologised, but they were so rude and arrogant that everything that happened afterwards was - in our eyes - unacceptable.
Couple of waiters are ok, though, and the roast chicken was delicious!
A. O.
It's your average Wetherspoons, you know what you're gonna get in terms of food and prices, and there's a nice choice of draught beers. Place is bigger on the inside (pretty sure they hide the Doctor here somewhere), so have a stroll even if it looks busy from outside.
O. B.
Yet another great place to visit if you you're in the Hammersmith area. You will have to show up early to avoid the typical evening crowd, yet they have a large area to mingle in, and a great selection of drinks. As always, food choices are limited but this is typical for any British pub out there.
L. W.
Good service, nice facilities.
K. F.
Beautiful and courteous female bar staff! Makes the drink or food so much more pleasant.
B. J.
Have eaten my breakfast there and i absolutely enjoyed. As you know, one of the Wetherspoons' chains that has got affordable price and good quality food. 100% recommend it.
M. D.
All you would expect from a Witherspoons.
T. B.
Food is very reasonable priced, lovely and also very quick to come out but not lacking taste. Staff are always welcoming and friendly also
F. B.
The food was good. Sadly the very rowdy behaviour of the people in the dining area was not so good!! I can see why there was a security man pacing the floor.
A.
Busy but good branch of wetherspoons
S. Z.
Very big space, good atmosphere, didn't have to wait long for our food. Great fish and chips, and lots of different beers.
J. J. G.
Usually a busy bar but good staff make sure you are served quickly Wonderful selection of beers and wine and the food very reasonably priced as is the drinks. It is situated opposite Hammersmith tube station.
D.
Nice couple of drinks sitting outside in the cold so we could smoke, staff were very good.
j. h.
It looks good after the refurbishment. Same crowd as before. A mix of young and old people. Perfect for a cheap date or drink
F. F.
Had a small English breakfast here. Had great prices, good location and staff were friendly. Rated 4 stars cause food took a while to come out but it was a busy Saturday morning.
C. B.
It's a Spoons, so even though it's in London, it's still affordable.
The interior is classic English pub decor, and the layout sort of winds its way from one road to another.
D. A.
Perfect food and lovely place :)
M.
Not a bad place. The only problem I have is the state of the toilets. From my point of view they're what you'd expect from a local authority run convenience, not a large chain. Disgusting sums it in 1 word
C. T.
Fantastic portions and prices. We were there on Wednesday for the chicken specials. Most of us had roast chicken, it was fresh and tender. Highly recommended.
G. H.
As expected pub, prices are amazing. Service can be hit and miss and food quality reflects the low price you pay. Tables sometimes left uncleared for a while but hell it is a Weatherspoons!
J. B.
Went during a very busy period before a gig at the Hammersmith Apollo. Was served fairly fast everytime I went to the bar. One of the better maintained wetherspoon pubs. Not a fan of the political propoganda on display. Fortunately someone vandalized the displays. Also they might want to change the font on of the POS for porridge looks like they're are chucking MDMA in to the breakfast servings. Picture attached for reference.
J. W.
A Weatherspoons... Slightly weird too.
S.
Good for cheap drinks and meals!
A. S.
I dont think the WM rates as a gastropub, you'll get decent, if standard pub fare a la wetherspoons. The drinks are the cheapest in the area however, and the pub is huge, including some outside tables onto lyric square when the weather is nice. Becomes a bit club-by after hours and opens late, definitely worth popping in if you'd like reasonable prices and a good chance of getting a seat
I. I. U.
Comfortable and friendly staff
D. E.
Very good and friendly staff.
G. N.
Meh.. Typical spoons. Reasonably cheap drinks and food.
Bathroom stank of diarrhea and vomit so badly that everyone was gagging as they went down the stairs to it. Im sure that's a one off but still.. A whole evening of it. Bleugh
J. P.
Nice and friendly welcome good choices on the menu.....service with a smile through out our visit..
We popped in for a drink before going to watch RUNRIG in concert and ended up having something to eat as well..
P.
It's a Weatherspoons so you know what to expect. Inexpensive drinks and efficient staff in a large pub. But, it looks a bit tired and the toilets smell bad.
R. G.
A very busy and noisy pub , but the service was very good , the drinks and food brought to table without delay after ordering on the Wetherspoons app
D. C.
Ok for the price, but have been to much better spoons. English breakfast is a great for the price, but could come to the table hotter.
B. B.
Probably one of my favourite Weatherspoons. Staff always serve with a smile and the value is unparalleled in the local area. You can usually find somewhere to sit even in peak periods. Highly recommended!
G. S.
My home from home. A great place to work form if taking a computer - booths for privacy and multi levels to choose from as place to sit and eat. Entrances both on the Square and off the main street make this very convenient for shoppers.
B. D.
It doesn't pretend to be what it's not.
Great prices and clean edible food if not gourmet. Ales are top value and good quality. Place could do with a refurb, but for this money.......
A. M.
A good size so it doesn't get crowded, and the usual adequate food and good range of drinks one gets at a Wetherspoons, but no atmosphere and the dim lighting and fancy carpets don't hide the "1950s suburban estate" feel.
M. G.
It's a Weatherspoons, not a gastropub! Generic and cheap Weatherspoons menu, decent selection of beers. No music as mentioned by others. Feels a bit old-mansy during the day in that Weatherspoons way, but it's nice in the summer and gets studenty in the evenings in termtime.
M. H.
Nice atmosphere. The new added app let's to receive table service which helps a lot. Staff are wonderful. Nice family atmosphere lyric side
W. P.
You know what you are getting with a weatherspoons. Good choice of vegetarian options. However I seem to have been slightly over charged while using the app to order.
L. M.
Another excellent wetherspoons
S. H.
It's a normal pub in the centre of Hammersmith. Value for money Weatherspoon pub. Pay at the till and they serve your food at the table. You can sit outside in the Lyric Square as well as indoors. Toilets downstairs.
C. B.
This pub was amazing , few of the staff were from Australia. They were amazing , so friendly , attentive, So helpful in the menu chooses.Went a few times .A must to visit . Ask for recommendations of food . Yum yum .:)
D. R.
Lovely food great staff.
T. B.
Large Wetherspoons located close to the tube stations and the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith. Standard Wetherspoons menu and drinks so good value. Special meal deals most afternoons and evenings like chicken night on Wednesdays. Online app means ordering is very easy.
T. P.
A very busy Wetherspoons pub on the square in Hammersmith. Great beer selection at great prices. Main problem is that you may struggle to get a seat at peak times.
W. A.
For one of the lowest cost pubs in London, excellent service of both food and drink. A nice atmosphere too.
G. G.
Big breakfast, Lovely breakfast.
Great prices. Always busy, says it all for me really!!! My new breakie regular.
N. E.
Great food. Friendly staff. Reasonable drinks. Decor could do with an upgrade but thats my personal taste.
M. P.
Nicely located typical Wetherspoons pub. Good prices for London. Open until late. Beer was decent. Nice one, thanks!
P. r.
Ok food but we'll priced
S. D.
Wetherspoons pub, close to the station, many seats, good prices. No music, which might be a pro or a con depending on you. Staff is friendly, and I have been there many times. Love it!
C. w.
Standard wetherspoons pub with lots of space and cheap food and drink. Very well priced considering its location in London (just outside Hammersmith tube station).
C. a. P. (.
Always helpful staff. Friendly atmosphere. Top breakfast . Close to the underground and a 20-30 min walk to craven cottage.
S. S.
Lovely steak. Staff are nice. And i was able to cusomise my order. Bit of a wait for food but worth the time. I enjoyed my food.
S. I.
It's not the most decorous of places.Food deals better than the ambience which is a bit down at heel, old fashioned patterned carpet, basic seating and tables. This was just an extra stop not somewhere ld choose to linger.
R. G.
We like it. Food is nice. Staff are friendly and polite. We tend to come for lunch with the children. Can't really fault it. We recommend it.
A. B.
Lovely place and big selection of beers
B. F.
Lovely old pub with history and original features. A decent range of pints to drink (London lager for me) and a decent dinner to go along with it.
J. R.
Nice beer, pleasant staff. Absolutely appalling food. Either cold, raw steak and a wrap with virtually no filling. Atrocious
M. T.
Wetherspoons pub so good food, good drinks and great prices. Does get very busy though so can prove difficult to find a table at times.
L. C.
It's a Wetherspoons -- you know what you're getting. Service always seems fairly quick regardless of how busy it is and there's a very reasonable ale selection, especially considering the price.
N. L.
It is a comfortable environment. It is clean. The food and drinks are cheap and tastes good. Would.go again for a casual evening out.
K. R. O.
Very nice
A. K.
Great atmosphere. Good and friendly staff that are willing to help. Affordable prices for foods and drinks
M. W.
Beer and other alcoholic drinks at very good prices - £2.10 for a pint of best bitter beer. Food is simple, tasty, even if the portions could be larger.
B. D.
It doesn't pretend to be what it's not.
Great prices and clean edible food if not gourmet. Ales are top value and good quality. Place could do with a refurb, but for this money.......
B. S.
So simple comfort place, really tasty food, they've got promotions also, games for gambles, interesting place for the tourists. Have fun there! 😊
V. V. d. M.
Great gaff.. great food, staff, punters, decor.
M. K.
got served quickly and good choice of ales and cheap
j. r.
Always good
S. M.
Our bar lady emma was amazing, remembered our order everytime and always with a smile. Really made our night!!
M.
It's a good place for a drink and a bit to eat. Not too expensive either. Nice staff.
M. M.
Prices are good, some of the staff are a bit grumpy but not a bad place for a pint on your way home.
T. H.
Wetherspoons pubs are the lifeblood of financially surviving in London! Good value and a nice traditional pub feel. Busy but service was still good.
B. S.
So simple comfort place, really tasty food, they've got promotions also, games for gambles, interesting place for the tourists. Have fun there! 😊
B. E.
Excellent Service & Food. Totally Recommend.
c. g.
Very organised. Great value for simple pub meal. Pleasantly surprised. Pleasant service too.
R. T.
Plenty of seating, a little vague with the layout. But it is a wetherspoons so that means great prices for budget food and drink.
p. b.
A very busy and spacious establishment. Good selection of beers and choice of food at very reasonable prices.
S. M.
A pub in busy Hammersmith. Usual Wetherspoon fayre including beer at keen price. A bit dark in places though there is some outside seating on the square.
R. W.
great pub, great food, great atmosphere, but for a pub that sells food, if you order a Bloody Mary or a tomato juice, they have no Worcestershire sauce 😯, also handy as Hammersmith station is directly across the road.
M. C.
Come here for cheap drinks with friends - very crowded on Friday/Saturday nights though, but alright any other night. The curry/steak nights, like in all Wetherspoons, are a main draw for me.
F. C.
A formula that works. It's well-established. N9n prices are cheap but not excessive, compared to the quality of an appreciable product. I'll definitely be back.
A. K.
Great atmosphere. Good and friendly staff that are willing to help. Affordable prices for foods and drinks
M. A.
Excellent very good value for money.
B.
Great pub, great location, great beers. Recommended catch up spot.
S. M.
Our bar lady emma was amazing, remembered our order everytime and always with a smile. Really made our night!!
C. A.
Clean, friendly, fast environment. Massive inside and great dessert. Lovely floor too!
A.
Wetherspoons are always pretty nice to go to, and this place was no exception. Food was incredible, and extremely fast.
C.
A Hammersmith institution. A drinking den for students, professionals and sexta (+) generarians alike. A stalwart bastion of cheap booze for those wishing to launch off elsewhere into their night, or to basque in the satisfaction of drinks 50% of the price of places nearby till close. It has been here for years, it has endured hardship, infestation and encroachment, yet it still stands as one of Wetherspoon's most fine drinking establishments. The toilets will leave you reeling for home, but the booze and atmosphere will draw you back every time.
D. M.
Great value but was given a large portion of food when I ordered regular, didn't realise until afterwards when I checked receipt. I should have checked but bar man shouldnt have assumed.
J. '. L. S.
Lots of tables, good ambience, late closing and cheap beer and food. Love it 😊
F. G.
Amazing place big selection of beers
M. L. S.
Warm riverside views on a cool November day.
i.

Great atmosphere and open until late. You cannot drink on the outside area when is late but that is the only thing I have to complain.

Nice pub in centre of Hammersmith with 'spoons prices - what's not to like?

Great food and service, food out in 10 mins ... better than a lot of much dearer places.

This is a good local wetherspoons in Hammersmith, located on King Street near the two Hammersmith stations. This isn't as big as centrally located wetherspoons, but still offers a good selection of main stream and local craft beers (along with ciders, wines and spirits).
You can drink getting cosy by the fire during the winter, or sit in Lyric Square during the summer.

Nice, typical Wetherspoons, reasonably priced drinks and food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, if you know 'Spoons then you know what to expect.

Pleasant helpful staff. Food hot and didn't have to wait long. Good choices and good value for money.

Nice Weatherspoons in the centre of Hammersmith. Better value than the pubs in the same street. A pity, as traditional pubs are getting priced out.

Handy if your going to the Apollo for a gig but it is always very busy, but they do tend to have lots of staff working there.

Standard Spoons. Was heaving before a show at the Apollo. Service was quick considering. Used the app for table service to avoid the queues.

A fairly standard Wetherspoons. I visited in the morning for breakfast and coffee which was fine. I can't comment on what it is like at other times.

Pretty standard weatherspoons. A bit rough around the edges and can get busy but it's cheap and cheerful and about what you could expect a weatherspoons in a busy area to be like
