This is an excellent pub. We had a party of 10, the service was good. Food was excellent, all round across the whole menu. Drinks were decent, barman was very good to adapt to taste too. There was a little blip on service from 1 staff member, I'd like to out it down to a bad day. Food was not cheap, but neither was the quality which for me was good value. Drinks were inflated in price, nothing special here to match the inflated price.

Since its renovation a year or so ago, The Winchmore remains a very smart pub with plenty of tables available for both casual drinks as well as food. A really nice touch is the addition of historic maps and pictures of the local area. This particular visit was for a 40th and a room had been hired to left of the bar area. Service was good and drinks ordered at the bar were brought to our area. All in all a nice local to have.

Nice, family gastro-pub. Loads of outdoor seating. They use quality ingredients, with top notch animal welfare standards! Farm to table not factory to freezer. It does get loud with kids on weekends but that's all cool if you have them. They have table service post-covid and good distancing. The five stars though is for our waitress... professional yet warm, attentive and so lovely. We wanted for nothing... even though we were sitting outside and out the way. She's the one with the perfect colourful nails.

Nice pub but it's let down by staff. On their phone a a lot of one young girl tried to give me a ripped note back in change and then got upset when I refused to take it demanding what's wrong with it!! Plenty of local pubs with better friendlier service

Was in the upstairs hired area for a party, it was such a great space for it especially with children. The food was brilliant couldn't fault it. The only downside was no draught beer upstairs but that's not really a problem.

I recently used this venue for my daughter’s fifth birthday party and enjoyed a great experience. The staff were super friendly, efficient, helpful and patient with all the kids running around. Ceyda’s customer service was excellent and nothing was too much. Thank you to all for being so accommodating.

The place to go for dinner on a Saturday night. The food is outstanding, I strongly reccomend ordering the Beef Burger (served with chips and coleslaw). For dessert I had the "English Toffee Pudding" with Vanilla Ice Cream, absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff and the service was excellent. Definitely reccomend anyone to dine or drink here!

We would give Winchmore pub 10 stars if we could. We booked the upstairs function room and raised conservatory for our son’s birthday party. Ceyda helped organise and facilitated all our wishes to make his birthday special. On the day Oliver and Katie were stellar, managing the event, leaving our guests pleased. Hired the function room for a 30th birthday and the service was amazing, staff on the night looked after the guests and Ceyda was very helpful with everything before the day of the event to make sure everything was ready for our arrival. Great food, great service, high recommend.

The atmosphere of the pub let's you while away the hours and the staff are very helpful. I wish with the current climate of covid they were more attentive to the outside seating area for ordering drinks. As I had to go in a few times and was that someone would come out. Otherwise the bathrooms are gorgeously decorated and the food is yum.

I found the food delectable and the staff were friendly and engaging. Family orientated establishment. However, I ordered disarono drink and I asked for a splash of lemonade. It tasted like they had emptied a litre bottle of lemonade into the small glass. I then advised them of this and they returned with another glass only to find they had repeated the same thing again. Maybe there were squeezing the disarono out of the bottle. Won't be ordering that again in there. That's why I gave them 3 stars.

We hosted a hen do in the function room at The Winchmore and I cannot recommend it enough. They were kind enough to be extremely flexible with at least 3 date changes due to the pandemic. The communication with Ceyda was brilliant and she was so helpful with the planning. We had such a brilliant time, the staff could not be more accommodating and really made our night (special thanks to Katy and Oliver!). Thank you so much to The Winchmore team, we cannot wait to return!

I had a get-together with some friends here recently. It's a big pub. The drinks are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly. There is a nice garden outside for outdoor seating, and of course smoking. Lol. There is even a special place upstairs if you wish to have a party. If you like pubs, this is the place for you.

The Winchmore is quite simple the best pub in Enfield, the selection of drinks is vast, the service is unbeatable unlike most pubs there is not such a turn over of staff so you get to know them and they are all very attentive and friendly. The pub welcomes furry friends and children making it a great family option whilst the large garden is a great social spot and it has been a phenomenal venue to watch the 2021 Euros with three 75inch tvs. Great food as well, not your typical greasy pub food!

The Winchmore! What can I say? Well, I occasionally visit here and when I do, it never disappoints! Family run pub and always the warmest of welcomes. Whether I come for a social drink and a pizza made by one of the best pizza chefs in the area, or for some Sunday lunch, I never leave disappointed. As soon as I walk through the door, I'm greeted with a warm welcome, there's always a table and the staff are always friendly. The staff are what make The Winchmore what make the whole experience. Friendly, attentive and professional. There are too many name to mention but Mark, Eilean, Rhian, Kyle, Ceyda and everyone else in the team, make this pub the place it is today. Get yourself down and you won't regret it!

We went to The Winchmore for a family meal. The staff were fun and friendly. Food was good, great to see they use local suppliers. It was my mum's first trip to a pub/restaurant since Covid began and we were really pleased with the experience.

Staff were great but service not great wrong drinks constantly bought to the table. The food was not great either worse pizza I have had in a long time dont know where the base went? 4 of us ordered the food together but first pizza was bought 10 minutes before a burger arrived and then the other 2 meals turned up 5 mins later. Long waits from ordering drinks until they were bought to yhe table. Give the pub the benefit of doubt as getting use to new rules etc but food needs to improve should be able to make a basic pizza.

Love this place. whilst it's not close enough to be considered our local, we visit frequently enough. The food is great as are the drinks, but everything is enhanced by the staff. Mark & Eimear run a great ship and clearly train all of their staff to a high standard. We love visiting for food after a walk in Grovelands or for drinks with friends. Great place!

This is a very relaxed pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The friendly, attentive staff really define this pub for me and keep me coming back. The food is good, although I didn't find the Sunday roast to be much above average pub fare. The general menu is better, but I've dropped a star because the food could be improved. I'll keep going back for the laid back vibe, good selection of beers and excellent service.

This pub has a fantastic atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially for us with members of the family with different allergies. If you go at the weekend, don’t even bother with the car park, it’s very small and hard to see oncoming traffic when trying to exit. Food was actually very nice and tasty but we had to wait a long time between our starters and main. A nice pub with a friendly atmosphere.

We celebrated my son's 18th Birthday here and I was a little worried when I booked it because there was football on the TV and lots of shouting at the telly. But despite this, the staff were friendly and attentive with some nice touches like a birthday card for my son and some treats. Great service, super attentive owner/manager. Food let down massively. For the price we paid standard should be much better. Roast felt like leftovers. Hard carrots -rushed. Hard dry potatoes. Chicken pale looking like anorexic. Chocolate brownie not much different than toffee pudding both served cold. Not sure if experience has anything to do visiting at 3pm on sunday but not sure if I'm back on sunday dinner.

We had mother's day lunch. I had booked the table a month in advance and they had asked us to order ahead of time which made sense as it was so busy when we got there. They gave us a sectioned off area which was a like a square room as there were 23 of us! The food wasn't quite what we expected. All the meat eaters were happy with their food. It was the veggie people that were not too pleased. Their veggie pies were basically large ramekins of vegetables cooked and no pastry! And their veggie wellington was basically a veggie pie. But they were kind enough to remove the veggie pies off the bill when I cousin expressed her disappointment. The service was very good considering how busy they were and they had another booking straight after ours and they didn't push us out of the area. But we did leave 10 mins before our time slot expired. I am sure it would have been much better on a normal Sunday.

First time here the roast was standard and for £16 for the beef I expected more, although good portion size I didnt feel it was all that fresh, it wasnt anything special and if your paying £16 you want it to be. Staff were all friendly but very difficult to recognise who worked there and who didn't, different people took order, brought food over, drinks over and then different person done the bill. It was very busy so maybe it's not usually like this, also charged 0.80pm each for tap water never experience that before even down in London.

Great place, we always have our book club here. Wonderful staff, always helpful and accommodating. Plesently surprised and humbled by the contribution to charities and wasteful plastics as well. They serve their own water, no brands and all proceeds go to the local hospice and water charities building wells!

The food is nice, but unfortunately they put a tissue underneath the battered fish from the fish and chips ; not a clever idea as the tissue soaked into the fish and it's easy to end up eating that too. The wife and I popped in to have some Saturday lunch. The staff were helpful and it was nice to see the young ladies busy, even thou the pub was quiet at this time. The menu is extensive, yet not too overwhelming. We had a choice of toasted sandwich and Calamari. I would add that the Chips and Calamari were very greasy and possibly overcooked, but the Sandwich was delicious. Even thou I rated a 3* I would return again, as the pub is well located and the interior is pleasant for a drink and the staff friendly. I would just chose from the menu a little more carefully next time.

Nice pub, first visit from myself, my mates who were with me have been before, small choice of ales, which is a bit of a down point. Liked the layout, staff seem friendly. One point didn't like was that someone was vaping inside, I was under the impression that it's against the law to do that in public places, I know that you're not allowed to vape on public transport and thought that the same rules applied for public houses. Went again on Friday the 13th, and it was a totally different atomosphere, think it was a party but the music was brilliant, all mid 80s to mid 90s the era that I grew up in so had a great time.

This is our second visit to The Winchmore pub since its refurbishment. The atmosphere, decor, staff and food are all great. The reception you get from the moment you enter is warm and welcoming. The front of house staff are great and the chefs are marvels of food. When I want a good night out somewhere that's stylish modern and most importantly Clean I'll be heading back to the Winchmore. Went to eat dinner on a Saturday night. Were shown to the back of the pub into a virtually empty dining room. Only ourselves and another couple were eating. There was no music or buzz to the place so totally lacking in atmosphere. The waitresses however were great and very attentive and the food lovely. Think it would need to be busier before I was tempted back. .

I have visited this pub in multiple occasions and every time I had great food. I mostly enjoy steaks and they now offer a delicious T-Bone. The overall service has been pretty good and the choice of beers is above average: they even offer Birra Moretti on draught. The pub itself is quiet during the week, but can get busy at weekends. The outside area is nice too and they have a private, though small, car park.
