T. B.The staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of what they had to offer.
The venue is modern but cozy and rustic at the same time.
A suggestion to order the roast was recommended. It was the best restaurant roast dinner I've ever had.
Came with trimmings, beautiful gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding as big as your hand!
Staff were attentive, made sure we had all we needed and that everything was to our liking.
Highly recommend!
R.Lovely pub with great food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Does a great coffee also if you're working from home and fancy a change of scenery, head here.

A little something missing (might be location/configuration of pub?) that means the atmosphere and ambiance is a little lacking in warmth.
Also, unless I missed it, no baby change facilities which isn’t too helpful for a kid friendly pub.
K. L.We decided this year (for the first time) to have Christmas Day dinner in the pub. As you can imagine, we were dubious. Always a risk having someone else’s Christmas dinner!
Well, we need not have worried at all. Not only was the dinner delicious, Connor and his team were the perfect hosts, all very friendly and welcoming.
Thanks to the whole team for their hard work and for making our first family Christmas in two years special and memorable.
We would definitely recommend Christmas at The Woodman 🎅🏽

The place is cozy, well decorated and following all social distancing guidelines including offering hand sanitiser to each table, the staff was super attentive and welcoming and on top of that the food was outstanding! The mac & cheese bites with truffle oil are a delight and the homemade brownie was absolutely gorgeous. I can't recommend it enough!
C. T.Lovely pub. Nicely redecorated, very clean industrial, which is nice. However, a lack of life and personality, might easily corrected with plants, maybe hanging down from the top set of the bar and the White Columns. A shelf with a selection of board games would be nice too. Other than that great service, very attentive. The food was really good, full of flavours and freshly made. Small menu but worth it.
F. L.Visited today with my sisters whilst shopping in the wedding dress shop next door. Everyone at the Woodman were very hospitable and it made for a great meal. Conor and his team couldn’t have done any more for us and the banter was too class! I highly recommend his home made apple crumble ❤️ What a wee gem of a pub.

O. K.This is our local and we're regulars, great pub, really nice setting, good food and friendly staff. Only minor complaint is the app system to order drinks - a few of times it took over 15 minutes to get a couple of beers even when it wasn't busy. Not sure why that is, but if they sort this out, it goes up to 5 stars.
Z. A.This place has a great atmosphere! Anna is there pretty much all the time. She and the rest of the team really care for the customer, they are very polite and kind. And they mix something individually without leaving any of you wishes out.
Also the chef is very kind and is happy to customise an order for you as you like.
I mostly have a slingbury rhubarb with light tonic (the silver one) and strawberries - you can thank me later ;)
Next time I will try the steak. It looked yummy!
The bathrooms are always clean and the area outside is very convenient especially when the weather is so hot like these days.
My colleagues and I love this place and go there quite a lot. Delicious food, good beer and nice other drinks!
PS: I tried the steak now - soooooo good!
Also try the sausage mash - BEST gravy ever! Those 2 are my favourite dishes here now :)
R. N.Popped into the Woodman last week for a drink with friends. The staff were super friendly and more than accommodating. We were seated within minutes and serviced ice cold beverages! Who ever manages this pub deserves a pat on the back as they really do understand the true essence of hospitality and practice it very well.

I'm not sure if it's new management but I was quite pleased with the service, friendly staff, variety of drinks, fast and tasty food. Most importantly it was clean and freshly decorated. Very pleased.

S. R.The pub is very nice itself, but the app system clearly doesn’t work. We ordered via app few times (as per procedure), and each time we had to go to the bar after 15 mins to check when they will bring drinks (a simple pint of draft beer), and a bar staff wasn’t busy none of the times.

L. O.We absolutely love our new local now that we can actually visit! The venue is amazing and their one way system works a treat. The beer garden is beautiful and spacious too.The service and staff are incredible however I do think the staff are under the pump and need more support. The drinks are very affordable too. We really looked forward to the 2 for 1 burger night, however we were a little disappointed with the quality of food. My only recommendaction would be to up the burger quality, eg. Fresh guacamole instead of store bought dips and maybe a better quality chicken). My partner had no complaints about the Woodman Burger except for it being a little small. The meals that weren't on the two for one deal looked incredible (fish & chips, salad etc). Overall we have been a few times this week already since opening and will definitely return soon.

I’ve tried pretty much every item on the menu, my favorites definitely are the Woodman burger and mozzarella sticks! I’m looking forward to seeing this place grow and feel lucky to have such a gem in the neighborhood.
M. C.All-round fantastic experience at the Woodman pub today. We hosted a baby shower brunch today, with the Woodman pub accommodating us with a custom menu of our choosing. Staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed to make it a very special occasion. Delicious food, very decent portions, friendly staff, pretty table decorations and our own space in front of the festive flower wall. Highly recommend this pub. Thanks Ana and team!
S. A. B.I go here regularly with my family for lunch on the weekends. Staff are friendly and can deal with difficult orders well (8 person table with odd requests, handled incredibly well). Food is top notch, especially the chips and desserts. My only criticism is that there garden to side has no heated area for smokers. Would highly reccomend if someone is looking for a well presented pub to dine at.
A. F.We cannot recommend the food and staff highly enough during our sons baptism celebrations this weekend. Every guest said how amazing the food was and continued going up for seconds and more! My 85 year old nan even commented 'this chef knows how to cook'. The staff were so friendly and attentive with nothing phasing them, despite it being fairly busy. K. P.Very well renovated pub with a good selection of alcohol and some very well done food! The menu is only a dozen dishes, but it’s better they do a few dishes really well other than lots of okay dishes.
The staff are friendly, very active and helpful! They’re constantly collecting glasses and cleaning up tables for new customers. The supervisor on shift was super helpful as well. We had a suggestion about the food and she went to the chef with the suggestion. They quickly came back reply.

M. R.went there last weekend and queued at the bar for 15 mins. the staff managed to serve everyone apart from me even people that came in 5 minutes after me. The drinks are very expensive £15 for 2 I think is way too much to pay. The bar staff that they had before it got taken over were much better, warm and friendly and actually smiled. I will still go here though but that is only because there isn't anywhere else.

B. G. H.Popped in Sunday lunch time after some gardening and housework withe the wife. 1st time since reopening and liked it very much. Bright and airy with a variety of seating options plus wide open doors to outside area. Very friendly staff with good sense of humour. Music good and quiet so no need to shout. Toilets very clean but suppose that's cos it's new and not been abused yet.
Had the squid and paprika mayonnaise as a snack and very good.
Will visit again and try other menus
E. D.After such a long time, I'm glad that we have a trendy pub in the neighbourhood. I've been there more than 4 times since they opened. love the vibe and young staff. They have live music some nights and the couple of dishes I tried were very tasty specially the fried Mac & Cheese. I hope they make the outside area more cozy as it's an amazing space which stays sunny all afternoon.

It is a bright, airy, mood lifting establishment with weekly live music, amazing food & a mix of friendly locals and hip professionals from around the area. If you do one thing nice for yourself this summer, order the ham and cheese sandwich; the béchamel sauce will stay with you up to Christmas.

The steak is not great when I've had it as it's very dry. Also the chicken burger is very dry and tasteless. So go for anything eles on The menu and it's very nice just the steaks are very dry. I still visit here regularly

K. M.The Woodman is a great new pub handy for bus and train near Wimbledon park . Great live music of the kind you will remember for a while as a great night out. Top bands desperate to play there and a great selection of the finest ales and wine and spirits.The "COPPERHEAD JACKS" a great new Rock Blues band played brilliantly and with great individual skill on Guitar Drums and Bass as well as the Singer belting out great songs from Britains 60s and 70s . The play there every month so dont miss them as the entry is free. If watching them in Soho or Camden you will have to pay.
The food was remarkable and I intend to frequent this pub every chance I get. We were made welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Where over locals can be a bit daunting this was a relaxed and friendly bunch happy to talk to strangers and make you at home.
