Reviews of Travellers Tavern
D. T.
A fine pub, exactly as it says on the tin. The Travellers Tavern, for travellers getting to London via Victoria Coach station. It could not be more convenient! Good beer, lots of food going out. Fine service from lovely staff. A good place to sit down and plan your visit to the capital.
L. F.
Very friendly service. Fresh food and a great atmosphere. Very clean. Ideally located next to Victoria Coach Station. Had a lovely experience.
J.
Surprisingly good for a pub next to a coach station. Clean with well-spaced tables with a few outside. Lots of screens showing sport so probably a good place if you're wanting to watch the game. The breakfast menu doesn't appear to be on the app, but you can order pretty much anything else without having to give away your mother's inside leg measurement and the app accepts cards and PayPal. Service was quick and the person that delivered our cups of tea was smiley and pleasant. The main toilets are upstairs (again clean and airy), but there's an accessible toilet in the bar area. The food being served around us looked well presented and tasty. Will definitely stop by again when we're in the area.
R. E.
The staff there were the best part. Tip top each one of them.
Unfortunately the food availability and quality let the visits down.
It feels the 100% guaranteed flow of customers from the coach station has been taken for granted and the strive for quality has been compromised.
Convenient but that's about as far as I can go I'm sorry to say.
s. b.
Large busy pub near Victoria. Good range of beers and cheerful barman. We went in at 11.30 on a Tuesday morning and there must have been 70 People inside. Shame I had to go back to work!
L. M.
best fish and chips I had in a very long time, even by the sea side they don't have this quality and also amazing value for money as the fish is gigantic, loving the peach cider they have on draught too, I also like to say thank you to all the bar team that served me today, you were all great.
M. B.
Nice comfy seats, would go there again when using the bus, close to Victoria Bus station. Just a pity of the laptop brigade that cannot keep their conversations thru the headsets, just seems like a worldwide problem.
A. G.
Very nice place with great energy if you’re looking forward to watch football and they also have my favorite beer: Blue Moon. You’re stars!!!
L. M.
Stopped for a pint of Heineken. They only had bottles. Not great. The feel of the place was ok though
a. T.
Lovely pub....it was understaffed. Which I realize is not their fault...the staff they had were doing their very best under the circumstances...It was reasonably busy early afternoon the day we went there...The food. Fish and chips seemed as though it was from the day before and very small portion...not good value for money at all...
S. W.
Excellent gastro pub with great drink choices and a comprehensive tasty menu. Nice friendly staff too. Right by Victoria Coach station so a brilliant choice to visit if you're waiting for a transfer.
E. D.
Great food, fantastic atmosphere. Staff very friendly.
Now we have found it, will definitely make this a regular before all our coach journeys
K. C.
Great food and served quickly. Came in before getting on a coach and thought we may have to rush our food as only had just under an hour but food came out quickly and was delicious. Scampi and chips, Sausage and Mash and a Roast dinner pie all perfect. The staff were really friendly as well. Will definitely be back next time we are in London.
W. R.
The travellers tavern is a Greene King chain restaurant with good and quality food. This Victoria restaurant is providing not just high quality food but good customer service too, with friendly staff. I didn't want toast on the breakfast and they happily swapped it with eggs. Venue was clean and welcoming.
I. B.
Amazing pub right next to the coach station, they serve the best breakfast ever, specially the eggs Benedict or the smoked salmon with avocado, yummy.
P. P.
Another food pub, they did have some good beers on. The staff didnt seem too interested in the clientele they did everything correct, however not much passion.
E. M. c.
Food really nice and the staff are really friendly and nice. Best cheesy chips ever
J. V.
We stopped here for some light dinner and a drink before our coach home. The young lady showing us to our seat was efficient and got our drinks really quick. Dinner was nice but took quite a long time. Handy for the coach station and had quite a nice menu. We shared a platter which was ready nice.
J. B.
amazing breakfast and very friendly staff, prices are not bad either considering the location. will be coming back when I am next in London
G. A.
Lovely pub great food, good atmosphere, staff are really friendly, unfortunately I've forgotten his name but the Irishman bar staff is a real friendly guy recognised me even having only been in there once before, friendly and helpful definitely recommend.
A. A.
What a great place, cosy huge space perfect for a meal and drink.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Always looking good and tasty food with a great selection of alcohol and soft drinks.
Very popular for the locals and visitors.
Classical old fashioned pub
Highly recommended
F. L.
Pretty standard newly renovated Greene King right by Victoria Coach station. Fairly refined given the location. Clean and well managed. Probably good choice if you fancy a standard Greene King and don't want to venture into Belgravia.
S. S.
Nice, cozy and warm bar just across Victoria Coach station. The ales here are pretty good and you can get a wide variety of ales to choose from. We opted for a pint of Spring Ale and Apple ale. It costs us £10.45.
In all, a pretty good bar to chill after a tiring journey!
J. C.
Very well priced , great seating, they sell food thats very tasty, the bar staff are great , they also show boxing , tennis, football & other sports on their big screens. Is it worth just popping in for a quick drink For Sure Yes .
Kindest regards
John
K. M.
Nice Pub. Especially for first stop visit in London. Still has that normal Public House feel for a traveller. Girl behind that bar had some illuminating Tattoos too. Cheers 👌🏻✌🏻
T. M.
I always use the Travellers Tavern when travelling from Victoria Coach Station. It's usually quiet, especially compared to the station. I feel quite at home there, food is quite good, service is excellent.
T. C.
Nice cheery pub, perfectly situated and named near Victoria coach station. Was definitely worth a quick visit before boarding time.
C. D.
Really lovely atmosphere, very pretty to just gaze around while enjoying an ice cold drink. The food was decent - nothing spectacular but definitely not bad.
B. B.
Really good pint of Guinness and a nice, cozy pub located just in the right place for those of us getting off the bus. Staff were extremely friendly too.
T. C. L.
Staff Dependant This Can Be A Good Rest Stop. A hit of what a London Pub could be like. The meals & ales are to the normal Green King Standard. So if you have been travelling & need an ale & some British Food give it a try.
P. G.
We have always used this pub for more years than I care to mention and always recommended it to other travellers but we were disappointed with it I last couple of years prices shot up and not such good service.
M. M.
The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond to provide a great experience, it was a delight to see all the guidelines being followed but with a smile and good spirit.
M. A.
Very friendly staff, fast service. Ordered the vegan burger and was pleasantly surprised as it was one of the best I ever had! Great place to eat while waiting for the bus as it is just in front of Victoria coach station.
L. P. M.
Nice ambience, standard service.
f. n.
The food was very yummy. Bought fish and chips l really enjoyed. I recommend this place.
K.
Great place for a drink or something to eat if your early catching your bus.
The only down side to the place was the young man that served us was high on something
D. B.
The area outside was strewn with litter. This was nothing to do with the bar but first impressions always count. Great bar Great drinks
D. B.
Was enjoying my last drink here, before leaving stunning London by coach.. They had some crazy cider selection, staff was very nice and was serving me a 1/3 pint even though it normally served in a 1/2 pint. Nice outside seating area.
A. B.
Decent food and drink, nice to pop in after your travels, right across from Victoria coach station
K. B.
A nice clean pub, close to the coach station so perfect while waiting. I've scored it lower because the beer selection isn't very good, it's all Greene King!!! Such a shame, not even a guest beer.
P. B.
Great place while killing time for your connecting coach journey, lovely, polite, welcoming staff, highly recommend
M. E.
Good stop if you are arriving at London in victoria coach station and you are hungry, the full english breakfast is very decent, the chairs are really comfy, big tv screens with sports (mainly soccer), the staff friendly, just notice that you need to order at the bar or nobody will notice you are there.
J. C.
We stopped off here while waiting for our coach home as this is right next to the Victoria Coach Station. It was nice and quiet and the perfect place to have a gin before the journey home. Friendly staff, covid friendly and clean 😁
P. C.
Popped in for a drink while waiting for a coach connection at London Victoria. Very clean and staff very quick to clean tables as customers left. Toilets spotless too, I didn't eat but what I saw being taken to tables the food looked good
G. F.
Good food and friendly staff. Great pub right next to victoria coach station.
a. j.
nice ambience and huge space! football semifinal made amazing. Amazing and helpful staff!
A. B.
I have a lactose intolerance and the staff really helped me by giving me the allergens books to see if the dish that I want contains milk. I ordered a super green salad, it arrived late and I almost lost my bus, but it was great when I ate that. Overall was a good experience and I will come back there for sure since I travel to London Victoria Station many times.
B. M.
Greene king pub located conveniently opposite the coach station perfect for food or drinks before travelling.
H. F.
Nice clean and friendly pub, spent some time here waiting for a coach home
J. A.
Good choice of food and drinks, relaxed atmosphere
A. F.
Went here while waiting to get the bus home as only down the road. Nice and reasonable priced for where it is
g.
Decent choice of beers. Quick service, offering a tasting of beer/cider when you are not sure what to get. Payment by card available. Limited access toilet present. Nice place to wait for your coach when leaving from Victoria Coach Station.
K. C.
Nice place.....typical British pub experience...gluten free beer options was a plus...the bartenders were from like eastern europe but nice.
B. W.
It was okay. No real wow factor, the food was alright, service was so so, counter order, bring to table sort of thing. The meat pie was good, veggie burger was bad. Prices were okay, not great. Standard pub in a tourist area.
J. H.
Had a table booked for lunch with a friend. We had a lovely meal, very good service by all staff, but 2 people deserve a mention. Carolina our server and the deputy manager who's name I didn't get, Thank you for a wonderful afternoon from we will return for another lunch.
M. R.
Staff are very happy and friendly. Place is clean and tidy and has a great atmosphere with a fantastic range of drinks. Shame that the portion size of food is so small. Arguably the smallest main I have ever been served.
S. J.
Lovely friendly staff, made the experience even more enjoyable. Great food and lovely cocktails. Friendly service. Cleans tables after every customer and can order through the app. Service is quick regardless if it's through the app or not.
P. N. C.
Great food and fast service. Also decent selection of beers available. Right next to Victoria train and Coach station
K. R.
An ideally placed pub 4 a much needed drink as soon as u get off the coach at London Victoria coach station. 👍🍻
A. V.
I was so hungry when I came to this tavern that I'm not sure if the food really was that good or I've only enjoyed a bit too much 😂
A. A.
Worth a visit if your in the area and fancy a drink shows sport to.
K. V.
Great pint of Aspall's as ever after a long journey! Staff always friendly and polite
T. G. (.
Handy place for a snack and a drink. Between arrival and departure terminals at Victoria Coach Station.
G. A.
Now this is so ideally located for the traveller with good selection of beers, (though pricey) plenty of room for cases, and clean loos. Capable staff.
J.
Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and an inexpensive menu. A definite recommend if you find yourself at Victoria Coach Station.
G. K.
Great service friendly staff and a nice vibe.
L. M. G. o. C. G.
Strategically located opposite departures from Victoria bus station and nice inside. Although toilet was not too clean and drinks were quite expensive.
A. S.
Nice burgers, friendly staff. A good place to hang out before a trip.
R. I.
I'm from Manchester ❤️ i visited this place and I had just coffee but the staff there were so friendly and nice to me and my husband... They told us how to get the bus as well 😂 lovely place highly recommend ☺️
Thank you
C. J.
Not bad at all. Open until midnight for the extra pint before bed.
A. G.
We are tired weary travellers from exetet. We have toiled and suffered to make this journey and a welcome smile and food if we could afford it isspptecoated x
T. B.
Great food , resonable prices , customer service was great , will use again , recommend to others.
G. M.
Great location and a lovely feel to the pub. Not sure if the bar person could have been more miserable if she tried and at13.79 for a burger which was really average, not sure I will be traveling back any time soon
D. N.
Lovely ambience. Helpful staff. Great range of drinks. Loved it
T. G.
Great atmosphere good beers and nice food and all close to bus station
m. s.
Really friendly and very comfortable atmosphere, will go again.
E. W.
Very clean perfect little pub Shane about the prices, location will do that 🤔
G. B.
Nice pub not the most experienced staff but they do the job Nice beer how ever not Nice enough to justify the price
P. G.
Friendly staff okay prices for London , I've always gone past this bar and wondered if I should have a drink before my coach and finally I went in and had a drink .
Staff were really helpful and happy today 😊. I will be back
A. M.
Awesome ambience and great service
j. b.
Soup was decent, beers also. Nice pub
A. W.
Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms and the food and facilities were amazing. Great location and close to attractions
S. N.
Very pleasant venue staff are all great I always visit when I'm in london food is lovely would recommend every time
Y. L.
Few daftness in looking to fight service slow used app to order but took forever was handy for coach station but nothing else
S. M.
My favourite place to stop for food after a coach or train journey to London Victoria. I have been here several times. I initially came for it's convenient location then kept coming back as I enjoyed my time there so much.
The food is great and the customer service is excellent. Now the location is just a bonus, as I'd probably travel out to the pub if it wasn't. Thank you.
N. H.
Expensive being right next to Victoria bus station but a welcome pint at the end of a long journey.
T. M.
Went there to have drinks and watched a game, nice place to hang out
D. B. B.
Average food , nicely decorated for Christmas, reasonable price
T. B.

Staff very knowledgeable about their beer selection
S. R.
Beautiful pint, some real good choices on tap. Ideal location for the bus station too
E. L.
Friendly staff decent beer watched the football several large screens
J. c.
I alway love coming here after a long day in the city. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is calming but not boring. Would highly recommend
D. M.
Just by national express coach station nice breakfast here
C. B.
A lovely with pub ,with great food .....
O. L.
Great and fast service. Food was lovely and arrived quickly. Large draft beer selection, about 12 different the time I was there.
It is a very good resting/pause place, with quiet British music playing in the background and relatively quiet place during the days overall.
Decor made the place very cozy and the restrooms were nice and tidy.
B.
Friendly staff. They showed the test cricket which was great but without commentary. Instead they were playing some awful sounding music. Conveniently located near Victoria Coach station. Great place to have a cool drink before a long coach journey
F.
A wonderful place. Elegant British pub. The Staff us very professional and ready to answer all questions. There is also a nice cousin. Very British Menù and a big selection of beer. With I little space made for presenter all London paint . I will be back soon . Next time I am in Victoria
M. L.
Great food and service. I always come here when visiting London.
S. W.
Good pub with some nice drinks choices but the gents toilets need a serious update
A. S.
Lovely pub you can hear the underground under the pub
W. L.
Great place for a nice alcoholic beverage
C. A.
A standard Greene King pub offering a good range of drinks, food and bar snacks and conveniently located right across the road from Victoria Coach Station. Decor is typical of this kind of London pub, with lots of dark brown panelling and brass. While it was crowded, our party of three was able to find a seat at the back under a projector screen, and while there was football showing, the volume wasn't so high that we couldn't speak and the other patrons who were watching the game were all pretty chilled out.
P. S.
Spacious seating inside and out, good value food and great location.
T. L.
Nice little respite while waiting for your coach across the road at the national Express coach station. Been here a number of times whilst passing through. Staff are very welcoming and the food is good. During the summer I enjoyed sitting out the front with the busy movement of traffic and people.
S. B.
This is my favourite place when waiting for a coach, to sit in and have a drink. But yesterday went in as usual only to be told I had to buy food and drink as per new government policy. What if someone has only money for a drink or can't travel on a full stomach?
L.
Great pub always busy but it has never taken long to get served at the bar. The few times we have been up to London we always stoped to have a drink. So close to Victoria Coach Station which makes it handy to have a chill, drink or meal before or after getting the bus.
C. C.
Great pub if you want a quick meal before catching your bus at Victoria bus station which is just across the road. The food was good value and the service was quick and friendly. The menu choices are typical pub grub but really tasty, I can't fault it.
R. B.
Enjoyed our meal at the end of a busy sightseeing day , then across the street to get on the MegaBus home
R. m.
Very clean lovely polite staff, nice breakfast. Sausage was overcooked and burnt though, why lost one star.
T. B.
Nice service friendly atmosphere and very welcoming..
F. H.
The path is in a convenient location for the coach station and has lots of space. The inside is a bit dingy but is decorated in a traditional pub style. The girl who serve me at the bar was very friendly and served me a fancy gin which was lovely. Unfortunately the food wasn't great and when I mention to another staff member that the ham was dry and tasteless and I hadn't felt able to eat it she told me that this wasn't possible as she had already sold loads that day. Sadly I left hungry and a little bit annoyed. On the plus side there is a radar toilet that is kept in relatively good condition.
F. O.
Convenient pub near Victoria station and Belgravia. Fast and efficient service even on a Bank Holiday. Friendly and hard working staff.
N. B. L.
Went there quiet late as three people , still got food relatively fast and tasted great !
D. A.
Perfect place and sooooo nice customer service!! It's so cosy there. 100% recommended
S. C.
Perfectly situated right by Victoria Coach Station, ideal as stepping off the coach to grab a hot drink and use the loo! Decided to stop for lunch and ordered the steak sandwich which was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend
A. G.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent beer. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The only bummer was that a guy came in clearly looking to start as much trouble as he could. He went to a couple of tables scaring customers off. Fortunately, he didn’t get to us until we were leaving. He tried messing with us but it was easy to ignore him and leave.
A. M. (.
Just outside the Victoria bus station ideal when you have a hour wait till your next coach.
D. S.
Nice place food nice and drinks fare priced 😁
J. S.
This tavern located just across victoria coach station. they do serve good breakfast and beer. Service is a bit slow at times depending how busy the tavern is. Other wise I will give a 4.5 star rating for their food and 4 for their services.
C. L.
First time in London and first stop for dinner while we're here. The place is wonderfully situated and the service was good.
You order food at the bar and say where you're sitting. They brought it out very quickly. As my inaugural fish and chips of the trip, it was fantastic. The ciabatta bread was delicious.
The atmosphere is that of a traditional English pub which was comforting with large open doors that really opened up the place.
Would definitely come again.
S. C.
Called in as a starting point for the evening as it wasn't too far from where we were staying.
Good selection of real ales and generally a big selection of drinks. We also ate there and all the food was very nice and everyone enjoyed it.
Right next to Victoria coach station and close to the train & tube station so very handy if you're travelling.
All the staff were pleasant and efficient and this is a good place to spend some time if nearby.
M. P.
Had a good session here with a lovely friend. Both of us love decent fish n chips! They do decent fish n chips here. I adored both the food and her company so much I forgot to take any photos. Next time!
A. B.
Unexpected oasis at Victoria! Found another pub that has Old Peculiar on tap! The food was delicious too, the inevitable music was at an acceptable level. Looks like this can be a sports pub, but thankfully on this visit not. Very doable at off peak times if there are any in Victoria!
I. G.
Great vegan food and so nice service!
T. C.
The staff were great and friendly. They had the whole test and trace thing going on. The place is very clean and tidy inside, the decor is lovely. The prices are good too.
P. B.
Very clean and friendly, good food and drink provided by a great smiling service. My stop every time I'm here
J. B.
Covid safe
Good staff.
Good food.
Excellent location for National express coaches, Victoria
V. C.
Quite a pleasant pub, also had an evening meal that was excellent.
T. G.
Food decently priced considering its location between the coach arrival and departures. Good quality, quick to be served once paid. Never busy when I go in, but I might just be lucky! Always good service, and worth a stop if you are between journeys on a coach and have an hour to wait.
S. C.
Great little boozer, food was good and beer was ice cold
J. M.
The fish portion was a tad small. I ordered the large and it was the same size as the regular.
R. F.
Handy if you have a long wait for a coach
D. P.
One of the most appropriately named pubs in London. Despite the need for more vigorous table wiping, a solid beans and mushroom breakfast can be afforded; along with a quick pint to wash it down. Dark wood and old-fashioned, it presents above average people watching thanks to nice proximity to the coach station.
S. B.
Usually call in here when using Victoria coach station.
Great service, friendly staff. Excellent food.
A. S.
Lovely place to relax before your coach journey from Victoria coach station, just across the road, back home. Helpful staff, spotless toilets, prices reasonable, by London standards. Good choice of 3 different sports channels on three big-screen tv's.
A. K.
This is a quiet gastro pub considering its location. I wanted to change my accompaniment of chips to mash and the only way both staff at the time knew how to do that was to charge me for extra mash and not put chips on my plate; that seems a bit of a poor practice to me.
L. B. M.
Great pub located opposite the coach station, reasonably priced for the capital! Lovely quirky atmosphere with a travel theme attached, Great for relaxing. Food looked brilliant although we only had drinks.
M. A.
Its a lovely pub, although it does get busy. Right by the coach station and not far from victoria station so if you have some time to kill you can pop in and have a drink and maybe grab some food. Never had a problem and a place i frequent often whilst travelling
J. W.
Very handy for Victoria Coach station departures. Just across the road from the Departure Gates. Not a bad place to kill time. Great selection of beers and spirits and food reasonably priced, though did not try. But a Greene King pub so can expect food is to a reasonable chain pub standard.
D. C.
Always go here when traveling to and from London as it is right by the coach station. Never had a bad experience here. Staff are always friendly and I always get a good meal for after or before my journey. Love this place !
J. T.
I'm torn on this pub, as it's very conveniently placed between the two Victoria coach stations, but the bar staff seemed to be sharing one brain cell. I believe the name of the man serving me was Fernando, he didn't know how to make any of the cocktails on the menu and kept me waiting for about 15 minutes before he could tell me. I had a good laugh about it. I'd return to this pub due to its location but won't again order anything more complicated than a beer.
Didn't try the food, had nowhere to spend the night while Fernando decided whether or not he could make it happen.
S. W.
I had fish and chips. It cost £12.99 which I think is a total rip off. The fish was delicious but the chips were cheap oven Chips and were cold and the peas were hard. I was very hungry so I wolfed it down. The pub has a nice atmosphere but try to avoid peak lunch time as it is packed.
J. M.
My favourite pub, staff always friendly and the food is amazing.
S. l.
Quick pint stop friendly and welcoming staff
R. T.
Friendly atmosphere and tasty fish and chips
C. G.
Conveniently close to Victoria coach station. Very busy when I was there but the service was fast and efficient so didn't feel stressed about catching the coach. Food is typical pub grub and the beer beautifully cold.
M. D.
Stop at here for a drink before your trip from Victoria Coach Station
j. k.
Quite expensive beer, but good location, close to the Coach Station
R. C.
Brilliant location between arrivals and departures at Victoria bus station. Haven't tried the food but they have a good selection of hand pulled beers that change frequently. Typically expensive for a pub in the capital city.
A. W.
We travel to London a lot by coach and this place is great to pop in for coffee, or lunch and a beer! It does get busy at times and most people have a variety of bags and cases but it's very handy and would definitely recommend.
S. R.
Very well priced and some good choices for vegetarians which is unusual and also the brews on tap were great as well. Hard to find as its down an alley but once youre there the ambience the history all add up to a great experience.
K. D.
Awesome place to stop over and grab a bite, take a breath before another journey. Conveniently located in London between railway station and coach station. The food is lovely and prices fair enough. The staff makes you feel really welcome.
P. C.
I just wanted to add a quick review about your customer service...
I enjoyed an excellent meal, that was served with proficiency and humour!!
I was running a tad late for my Coach journey and only had a very short time to eat.. but one of your staff assured me that my meal would be served quickly and promised me that I would not miss my coach.
He delivered his promise.. I enjoyed a beautifully cooked steak and a lovely glass of red wine and managed to board my coach with 10 mins to spare... as things were rushed I am not sure that I got the barman 's name right but I think it's James..he was quite a cheeky chappy and I believe him to be an asset to your company..
I look forward to eating/drinking at the Traveller's Tavern again..
Patricia Cardona

THE BEST MAC AND CHEESE IVE EVER HAD!!!!

It's a cosy and warm pub with very friendly staff. Great choice of food which was of good quality. Ideal if you have some time before getting a coach. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
p. m.
Breakfast was OK.
Thought £7.99 was a bit expensive.
Try looking around
A. S.
Absolutely delicious chicken pie
D. F.
Good selection if beers
S. H.
Very handy for the bus station
S. C.
Absolutely amazing place. Great feel to it even for a lone traveler. The South African guy( sorry I didn't catch your name) he was amazing and super accommodating and helped another customer decide on another drink as the ome they wanted wasn't there anymore. He advised the customer on what to buy and this changed my mind on what I was going to get. I sat and listened on how he treat all customer and he was amazing. The only thing that let the place down was the price of a beer (£5.60) and some of the food. But this could be due to my first visit to London and not used to the prices.
C. M.
Nice food. We waited over half an hour for food so wouldn't recommend ordering when waiting on your bus in the coach station across the road. Good for a drink before bus departure.
P. C.
We had been in London for the day and had some time to kill before the bus home. Popped in for a drink and the place was packed. The football was on the TV and this probably drew in the crowd.
The staff were very busy, the food looked well prepared.
A. J.
The ambiance is the perfect one for a pint of beer and pals ... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
M. G.
Nice little pub. We stayed in an awful bnb so needed to hide away for a few hours before our coach. We got a full english and a few drinks, not overly expensive. Clean, tidy, friendly staff, toilets were nice too. Directly opposite the coach station so if youvey got time to kill and dont want the usual starbucks or costa i definitely recommend
m. e.
The food was decent enough and plentiful, a slight problem of chips instead of salad but the salad was brought out a few minutes later, considering where the pub is located the overall cost was not to bad for London, would definitely use again when in the area.
H. C.
A nice place to stay when you to wait for your bus or train. The staff is very friendly and their is a big choice for drinks and food. A welcome extra are the tv screens that show different kinds of sports!
R. D.
Absolutely brilliant visit! delicious food, great pint of Ale and felt like home as the staff were very welcoming x
N. C.
We ended up here because most other pubs around were beyond full. It may not be historic or anything, but the food is good. It is also quite cheap for London prices. No complaints. Go here for a quick meal.
G. T.
I have this pub several times over recent years It has a prime location for both the arrivals (next door) and departures (across the road) of Victoria Coach Station. Staff are very friendly and I have never had to wait longer than a few minutes to be served.
C. M.
Lovely little local style pub almost inside Victoria coach station it's Greene King so if you like Greene King, you'll be pleased to know that you'll get a good pint there as well as it being clean and tidy considering it's literally next to the coach station entrance
J. F.
Very good service tables outside was needed to be cleaned they dirty as me and my mates were sitting there at tables
8.
Great coffee, friendly staff
M. G.
Stopped here for an hour at lunchtime. Beer was good, the staff were friendly and efficient. Covid protocols were good. Will go again when in the area.
A. G. P.
I visited London for the first time in my life, and this was the first place I went to because it looked to be the quintessential pub/tavern experience.
The service was friendly, the server made a great recommendation for a local ale, refused to take a tip (I'm Canadian, so leaving a tip is normal for me), and I was able to choose my own place to sit.
The WiFi took a bit to get working but worked perfectly eventually, and the menu was FANTASTIC. Being a vegetarian I thought I'd have to miss out on the British tradition, but they had veggie fish and chips! They were delicious, a little pricey (but so is everything in London), and I really enjoyed my time there (about 3 hours, without ever being told I had to leave).
The bathrooms left a bit to be desired, but that's to be expected with a trough-style urinal.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place, and will be returning with friends.
R. K.
The place is cosy, staff is friendly, food is good, served quickly and within a reasonable price (for London) and very convenient location isf you are traveling by National Express. I would recommend not to pick a table close to the entrance - there are many travelers coming in and rushing to toilets.
K. X.
Great pub, lovely food and the staff are very welcoming
J. M.
After a long days travelling by bus this pub was the perfect place to grab dinner and a beer before the second leg of my journey. The food was typical pub grub at a reasonable price for London. The location of the pub between the arrivals and departures halls is the main reason that you would go here.
S. L.
Toilets not cleaned regularly. Popped in around an hour after opening. Were not clean. Cleaning rotar not updated since yesterday. Bar staff could have been a little more friendly and didn't stock Malibu
K. K.
Located close to Victoria station's coaches, this pub seems to welcome mostly people with suitcases on their way to and from various locations. Has both outdoor and indoor seating with outdoors right on the street. There are nicer pubs in the area but Travellers Tavern, as the name suggests, is perfect for such.
W. W.
Great pub. I've founded this to be a good "waiting for the coach" place more than once!
Not too badly priced considering it's location either.
M. C.
Very nice comfy place to eat while waiting for my next coach. The poach eggs were lovely and just how I like them. Recommend this place highly xx
M. C.
Without a doubt the worst smelling male toilets I have ever come across. I come here often when I travel and not once have the toilets been decent. It's eye watering the smell of urine and you can hardly breathe, really shameful. Apart from that, it's a decent pub downstairs while you wait for your bus.
D. H.
For me a welcome break from my regular journey down to Eastbourne. The coffee's good, ( if over priced. But it's London after all ).
The staff are friendly and quick, and the décor's traditional.
The only negative is, that the toilets are up a steep flight of stairs. But that's just being hyper critical.
A. J.
Great for a coffee before getting on the coach at Victoria coach station. Didn't eat but the food looked very good. Place is spotlessly clean.
G. T.
Quick pint between coach Journeys
L. B.
Lovely pub, good selection of beers, which change regularly. Very friendly staff. And there are multiple tv's which usually show a couple of different sports at a time, so give a better selection for customers.
B. H.
Good, quick service, not too crowded, friendly staff.
S. F.
Friendly service and for London, reasonable prices.
J. N.
Excellent service, with really helpful staff!
I. B.
the best experience ever!! I was waiting for bus to Bristol pop in for pint they have fantastic choice of beers good prize for London fantastic costumer service thank you Karolina, most definitely I will be back
F. D.
This pub is situated directly opposite the national express coach station. They serve food and beer and the staff are always friend ly. Perfect place to chill if you waiting for your coach.
K. F.
Love welcome, and the barmaid was happy to see a customer.
E. M.
Very handy for people travelling from Victoria coach station. Only had side orders but they were enjoyable enough. Nice place to plan your trip around London
N. G.
What a fun place. Good beer and food, reasonably priced. And the barstaff, especially the older Greek barlady, are just lovely and efficient. They are all good at having a laugh. Make sure you ask for Stella Artoi beer in glasses of the same name!
T. B.
Food was not half bad for a chain. Staff was very welcoming, they made it we went back the next week. Food can be a bit slow, which is Ok, but be aware if you've a bus to catch.
R. G.
Great pub situated between arrivals and departures at Victoria Coach Station. For the World Cup Semi-Final. At least 10 big screens. Magic, except for the result. Not their fault.
M. B.
Very close to Victoria Coach Station, it can be written that this place lives up to its name.
h. y.
One of the best steak we have in London, food are big serve and tasty. Friendly staffs, nice atmosphere, a lot of British celebrities collection, musical instruments, posters and etc.... Worth to try.
s. c.
Lovely old style pub, Last time I was there we stayed till late to change buses and just snacked and drank. We were snapped at.....as we were leaving, (after 11pm) but others were drunk so all in all that doesn't taint my view that its a good place to rest your weary legs.
A. C.
Nice and friendly staff, a joy to go in
N. J.
Found this pub accidentally, while to Victoria station, and stopped for what turned out to be a delicious burger, great pint of ale, and comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. An ideal spot to stop for lunch before traveling onwards.
J. B.
Very busy with the coach station next door. The WC (mens) could be better maintained but with the amount of traffic I'd understandable. Staff are friendly enough.
B. V. H.
Very convenient if you're taking a coach at Victoria coach station. Otherwise it is pretty much an average pub. On football night you ideally find supporters watching the game.
L. N.
Always enjoy a drink at the Travellers Tavern. I travel from Southampton to see my daughter in Norwich and use National Express. Much more relaxing than driving.
Excellent pub
P. H. P.
Ideally situated for coach travellers at London Victoria, being literally outside the coach station exit. There is an alternative Wetherspoons pub a 5 minute walk away in Victoria rail and underground station. Find a quiet corner in either of these and settle down with my book "Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay" by Steve Pick available on Amazon kindle.
s. p.
First pub you see when leaving Victoria Coach station but it's so depressing there. It's all the people waiting for a bus and they are all just knackered. Not the pub' s fault but as I said so depressing there.
A. D.
I loved the mac n cheese, the ambiance, one of the waitress was sitting by herself in her diner break, and she saw that we needed a big table for 3 so she offered to swap tables with us, very nice of her!!
S. K.
They advertise their cocktails, but do not appear to have taught their staff to make them to match the descriptions in the menu. I am Disappointed. However, I can say that the staff were very pleasant, if somewhat rushed.
M. A.
This place was an absolute blessing after walking round Chelsea flower show all day the locals were friendly. Expect to pay London prices though, still cheaper than the coke inside the chelsea flower show though!
S. S.
Big pub right opposite Victoria Coach Station.
Not the most authentic pub in town but a good place where to have a break while waiting for the next coach and watch sports.
The food is good as well as the pint.
B. G.
It was actually pretty good, the Vegan mushroom pie was really tasty and there are some great beers on tap - Camden, Beavertown
K. M.
Good beer book atmosphere
l.
Friendly, comfortable, good service
J. S.
Cool place to have a drink and traditional fish and chips! Good environment, open space and friendly waiters makes this one interesting place to taste a toasted beer.
T. Z.
I had great food and a wonderful time
A. S.
Handy for food and drink after long coach journey.
Free toilets but could be fresher. Please check dispensers work and are full.
M. R.
You are a good example for a man u know you are in a good position
S. D.
Nice place, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Good place to kill some time when waiting for a coach from Victoria coach station.
j. p.
Nice food. Lovely staff.
D. A.
Not enough tasty vegan food options or healthy food options for my liking, sorry is ok place to go though but deffo needs improving.
A. S.
Good beer. Large choice. Warm friendly atmosphere
M.
Very pleasant reception. Single room is small but comfortable. Good value for money and experience in an area with many budget hotels.. Some of them not good at all
A. D.
Stopped off here before getting on a bus from Victoria Coach station. Nice enough pub although their drink selection was lacking that day, lots of beers on tap not available.
D. K.
Busy little pub close to the Victoria Coach Station that is part of the Greene King chain. Couldn't avoid tobacco smoke as the windows and front door was open and all the smoke blew inside
H. B.
A perfect little spot opposite the coach station. Food is lovely and the staff were great. Always stop here for food when travelling through!
T. P.
Staff are fine and you can usually find a table. But the gents toilet is awful - cubicle dirty, no door lock, no loo seat.
R. M.
Good pub, decent prices & a good atmosphere.
Was neither too busy nor too quiet, perfect for a few beers with friends.
E. O.
thomas was fantastic - great advice on beers and happy to give samples along with his own tastes, a really really lovely experience in this pub. thank you thomas!
N. M.
Great place, however twice we have visited in 3 days and both times they have got our orders wrong. Will not stop us visiting next time just listen to what customer is ordering
R. H.
Friendly staff, good selection of drinks. I've been here several times and it's always a haven from the busy and overcrowded coach station.
D.
Lovely staff . Decent food
m. b.
Only popped in for one drink but service was good
P. h.
Stopped for a lovely breakfast nice pub food was good
d. t.
What a nice pub been passed it so many times, so I popped in and what friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere it's worth a visit if your passing by
F. A.
Food was excellent! Got the Rump steak. Good wine portion in 1 glass too. Good atmosphere, pretty chill out.
M. D.
Fish and Chips and all the old British pub favpurites. Or Halloumi and chips for vegetarians! Fantastic! Great selection of both vegan and non-vegan vegetarian options.
C. L.
High prices but good food, clean and tidy. Staff friendly. The toilets were dirty tho. Good place to watch sport.
A. S.
Great little pub convenient for when travelling by coach and have time to kill. Drinks are reasonably priced for London and the food is good.
P. S.

Really well presented tasty food
D. Y.
Nice burger and chips, with a pint at a reasonable price. Friendly staff with covid restrictions managed well
A. K.
This pub is really well located to the Victoria coach station, so it is great for killing some time. I thought the place was reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and it had a good, buzzing atmosphere!
J. L.
Nice pub just next to Victoria Coach Station. They have really nice burgers and some nice beers. Had to wait a bit but I was told directly so it's ok.
b. f.
Tipical bar restaurant British, good fish and chips and you can drink some beer or cider in there. It's I a good area nestle to the station of Victoria in London.
M. P.
Nice pub. Nice staff. .. toilets are not great just follow the smell... when you get there you will understand
P. S.
Good place to wait for the coach from Victoria. VG coffee. Can be busy. Covered outside seating area.
m. p.
Nice pub good food
I. I.
Great place to go to while awaiting coach departure. Plenty of ales to choose from but food that we ordered was only warm.
D. P.
Great beer and food selection. Did my bar manager training there back in the late 80's. Those were the days!
l. o.
It was ok, the person at the bar had a sour face and gave me the wrong drink, she wouldn't change it as she already poured it, however the rest of my time here was pleasant and it was a very nice pub.
I. S.
Good food and atmosphere.
G. P.
Is the first pub you can find if you arrive in Victoria coach station.
If you really wanna enjoy the English way.. why not have a pint as a first thing?!
R. H.
Friendly staff that are efficient even when very busy, good food, great to watch football while waiting coach from Victoria station
M. C.
This place does it job. With that I mean that the pub is made to give the bus travellers a place to eat and drink something before moving on. However there is nothing special or great about this place. It is all mediocre, however, the staff is very friendly.
C. G.
Great Irish pub didn't have time to eat, but what we saw looked and smelt great our drinks were good.
T. m.
Nice friendly staff and patrons. Would visit again
A. S.
Due to its location it attracts some very 'odd' characters. Waited for a friend here and in that time staff had to expertly deal with about 2 or 3 patrons with either drunken behaviour or daft requests. .
F. G.
Very close (literally across the road) to Victoria coach station. Everything you expect a green king pub to be. Some on street seating and TV screens inside.
T. G.
We travel through Victoria bus station quite a bit n if we gave time for a meal we generally go to the pub to eat
Good food.
A. F.
Good service, friendly staff. Food was great! Would recommend and visit again
C. R.
Lovely pub, really good service, followed the lady behind the bars advice for a snack and it was lovely, all in all a good place to drink and eat whilst waiting for a coach
G. L.
Friendly service and very welcome when you arrive at Victoria coach station. Central London prices, but that's to be expected due to location.
J. M. K.
Big space, which is so important for social distancing
S. W.
Great staff, lovely atmosphere, no problems at all. Perfect to stop by for a drink when travelling, hence the name 😂
S. T.

K. A.
A fantastic pub, with a great menu of pub classics. Always busy but it adds to its charm.

Great place to stop when waiting for your coach at Victoria, they serve food as well as various alcoholic drinks, tea, coffee soft drinks, outside seating, reasonable prices for London considering location
R. C. D. B.
It was ok to get a quick breakfast
V. H.
Busy pub that's near the Victoria departure coach station. Tourist prices and tourist menu of over priced bland food.
N. J.
Ordered a pint of cider - the chap at the bar filled the pint glass up with ice then started pouring the cider! I asked for the ice to be separate otherwise it wasn't a pint! He argued saying it was a pint glass - he didn't seem to get the maths and had to ask a colleague!!! Finally got my PINT with ice on the side!
C. G.
The place to be! Weather you are arriving, departing or just enjoying the city. The day isn't complete without stopping in for a couple pints or some delicious food.
M. F.
Great place to kill a couple of hours whilst waiting for a connecting coach. Not extortionately expensive for central London either.
J. H.
Perfectly situated between the arrivals and departures for Victoria Coach Station, very reasonable prices and great range of food and drink available!
A. J.
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Always love calling in here before going home to fareham

Ham egg and chips to die for. Great service and lovely staff (17.2.19) 5pm I will definitely be using this establishment again.
j. w.
Quite expensive but its next to Victoria coach station so its great if you've just got off the bus. Plenty of room for your cases.
B. D. (. U.
The selection of beer and cider was good. It was a chain though and the food was the same across all, which was a little disappointing to me.
N. P.
Handy pub if you've got time to kill before you catch your coach. Can get busy though (with people and suitcases!!!)
T. P.
Cozy pub with great selections of ales!

The place was good enough. The staff were very slow to help, though. Wouldn't recommend if you were ina hurry.
L. G.
Very nice pub just outside of Victoria coach station with reasonable pricing for food
E. S.
Food was nice, beer was cold 😊 and the girl behind the counter was really kind and helpful. Recommended 👍
