Reviews of Trinity Arms
P. L. R.
Great cosy pub just off Brixton town centre. Nice outdoor drinking space in the summer too.
D. R.
Lovely pub by a small green surrounded by townhouses.
Cute on the inside with lots of space on multiple levels but not enough to make it feel crowded.
Broad menu with a lot of care in it. Sunday roast was lovely although could have done with more gravy!

It's the first time I've ever been to this place, I have been meaning to come to this here for years, it's actually quite nice and larger than you would think.... I would be happy to come to..... Staff are cute and sever well, also love the art work.
M. U.
A nice pub with good vibes. I enjoyed my time here. I particularly liked the ordering method. Staff were very friendly and polite and the service was great. Social distancing measures were in place. Highly recommend this pub.
D. W.
A welcoming pub. One of those places that just works, and you feel comfortable in. Clearly popular. Good selection of drinks, a point of Young's was £5.00 which seems to be about average these days. I'd definitely visit again when in the area.
C. P.
The front garden and bar are really nice. The back garden is kind of gross and smokey and the back rooms are a bit soulless and the cheaply done renovation is falling apart a bit now. Drinks are on the pricey side even for Brixton. The staff are all lovely though! Stick in the front and you'll have a great time
P. R.
Cute pub with great selection of drinks. Friendly staff as well. Must go back and try the food
M. F.
One of my favourite pubs. I've been coming here for nearly thirty years. There have been changes (obviously) but not too many. Young's Special is the pint to go for.
F. B. D.
Would have given five for the drinks and service and food served up. However, the supply chain problems made me miss out of other meals i longed for.
S. D.
£6.10 for a pint of Estrella (their cheapest lager) seems quite steep. Nice enough pub mind you.
K. B.
Hot, but too hot. (Not cool) but cool in like a jokes fun way. Come here if you want to be very very hot and sweaty and. Trinity arms you swine
C. H.
Great, covered beer garden hidden out back. Lovely pub, with prompt service, only a short walk from Brixton tube
H. P.
Great local, great beer, great food great atmosphere. A great local pub with some lovely original features, some nice modern aspects and very friendly service. Like!
E.
Always a great vibe - the staff can vary in terms of service and competence but always nice and a great burger
A. W.
Just returned - marked improvement! Delicious vegan and veggie alternatives. Top beer. Great quiz. Solid atmosphere.
N. A.
Nice food. Lovely staff. Beautiful location. Prices not bad.
A. C.
Good decor and a nice garden. But on the pricey side for a pint.
K. L.
Great venue and outstanding selection of drinks. Very friendly staff (thanks Scarlett) and great atmosphere. Will definitely return with the gang again soon!
A.
Had a vegetarian burger here, it was really nice but since when has it become acceptable to charge £14 for a burger and chips? The UK's becoming a joke; we have Scandinavian prices with Eastern European wages- it doesn't add up!
G. C.
Good beer, great atmosphere, and friendly, helpful staff
C. O. N.
What a lovely boozer - so we needed a few before going to see Nuba Garcia and the Trinity Arms was perfect!
A. F. S.
I went just for drinks with a friend of mine and we got a table immediately. Service was fast and orders are made through the Young's on tap app. All social distancing rules followed.
L. D.
Really nice and local! burger bar upstairs does the most amazing burgers very greasy but full of flavor real beef and curly fries probably one of the best burgers ever! As a bonus its nice and quiet even on a friday night amazing place!
M. A.
Great food and service. A big thank you to Scarlett our server. All in a lovely pub !
K. W.
Had a wonderful experience at this pub thanks to our super helpful server Scarlett! Will definitely be returning with the family next time :)
A. H.
Lovely pub with great vibe and heated beer garden.
c. r.
Popped into this great local pub a few times recently and loved the friendly vibe and well made drinks. Big up to Scarlett who makes a mean bloody Mary!
C. F.
Good pub
A. K.
Excellent experience. The food was amazing and the portions were very generous. The fish and chips was lovely as were the hamburgers - I have been here on many occasions. The service was friendly. The place is sufficiently spacious so that people who have small children and babies can be seated so as not to disturb or disrupt other people.
Thank you.
G. G.
Really friendly place. Great selection of beers.
L. E.
Lovely pub, great garden, good beer, tasty beer and helpful, friendly staff. Real little gem hidden behind main drag of Brixton
S. F.
Great cozy pub with good beer garden
F. A.
Beautiful Aperol Spritz in a lovely setting. Staff friendly and efficient - Scarlett couldn’t have been more helpful
A. D.
This is such an awesome cozy place with a great staff and drinks.
W. T.
Excellent pub in a quiet square with a good beer garden out back.
M. E.
I can't recommend this pub any more! Great service - especially with all the covid enforcements that have had to be put in place but it still feels like the great old pub it's always been. My sever, Cormac was super friendly and attentive, it was a pleasure to be served by him. He explained the Youngs on Tap app to us and other customers very clearly and was very patient in helping me download the app. Many thanks and I will definitely be returning!
P. C.
Great little Youngs gem on the back streets of Brixton. Great service, really friendly staff and also nice little beer garden out the back of the pub
A. W.
Very caring in this difficult time - v good food
E. M.
Turned up and chanced my luck getting a table without booking and was met by the most delightful man named Cormac who managed to wangle my friend and I a space outside. Even after a mix up with another booking he looked after us all night. Top bloke and top pub.
N. R.
The food and drinks was very good, my server (Scarlett) was also very helpful and friendly
M. F.
A bit hidden, located in a residential area. If you end up there it’s probably because you know about it. Because of that it is a good sign to see it full of people. Beautiful tiny garden at the back with a fire - if you’re here you can’t miss it
L. N.
This is a really lovely pub. The staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. The food was also good. The one thing that was disappointing was the attitude of some of the patrons on the day we went there, some of whom were less than considerate. Having hoped for a relaxed catch up with a friend that I had not seen for a while, the noise levels were so high, it was almost impossible to do so. On commenting about this, the response from those contributing to the noise was - well it is a pub! In my view, a pub should potentially be a great place to socialise without necessarily shouting at one another or being made to feel like it is not an inclusive environment that everyone can enjoy.
G. G.
Great experience. Had Cormac (the Irish gentleman) as our server and he was an incredible host, hosted all our needs even if we asked for different chairs! Hope to come again soon!
B. T.
Food & drink: 6/10
Service: 6/10
Decor & atmosphere: 6/10
Service speed: 7/10
Cost: 7/10
The best: Nice local pub, big food servings
The worst: Food is ok, had a piece of plastic in my food.
Lowdown: An above average local pub with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fine and the speed was decent as it was a quiet day. I had the game pie which tasted OK, though the most off-putting part was chewing into a 1x0.5cm piece of plastic in the cabbage!

I spent my birthday with 25 friends in the “nook” and had THE best night. This is the best pub in London, always such friendly staff, great outdoor fire/space and great atmosphere.
Thanks for having me Trinity Arms!
C. M.
Lovely seating area out back, selection of beers could be better, but the triple cooked chips could not. Nor could the chicken wings, nor the scotch egg. Basically the food is off the hook as they say. Do they still say that? Also if you are into this kind of thing there are friendly cats in the square at the front of the pub that love a cuddle. And wings...
L. K.
Fast service, some local beers in the bar which is a bonus. Food is OK. Biggest asset is the beer garden with an open fire to keep you warm in the winter. Always great atmosphere there, many locals as it's tucked away from the high street.
I. S.
Always been my favour pub in Brixton. My first visit during a pandemic time have been great just like old times. Big thank you to all friendly and helpful stuff especially Cormak who made this visit much easer by explaining me everything step by step and made all of us very relax. U r great host. Be back for sure.
L. J.
A very nice traditional Youngs pub. Great atmosphere. Book in advance
M. C.
Perfect place to meet friends for a Sunday lunch.
J. B.
Held a small wedding reception in the upstairs room. Had a fantastic time, staff were attentive and helpful, the room was just what we needed and the food platters were delicious. Lovely location too, a rare secluded part of Brixton. Would highly recommend hiring the room for parties/events
C. W.
My wife and I had our first date here, and 4 years later we had lunch with our families before getting married! Really it's a Young's pub like many others, decent food and beer, with a nice garden and friendly staff, but it definitely gets 5 stars for being such an important part of my life and we shall return often.
N. R.
This pub is a hidden gem right in the centre of Brixton. Lovely quiet garden, with a summers breaze flowing gently through. Booked a large area for my friends birthday on the hottest day of the year. The pub were incredibly flexible allowing me to reserve 1/3 of the garden so my friends and I could kick back and make the most of the fun in the sun. Great food, the pie and mash is delicious.wines are reasonable at only £11.65 for a House white (250ml).
Staff are lovely, service is quick. Really can’t fault it
J. E.
First time back at the trinity since lockdown . The team are organised and the apt easy to use( it took a few minutes to set up . The Sunday roast is superb, a bit on the big side for me but full of flavour and worth the money.
A. L.
What a wonderful find!
The most lovely staff and absolutely stunning venue, well done crew...
I wish this was my local!!!!!
The sales and marketing manager is a babe.... drinks on me when you pop down to my venue. x
From one sales and events manager to another - Well done!!
Ooooo and the Club sandwich was utterly delectable.
J. H.
Lovely local pub, Shame it costs an arm and a leg to buy a couple of drinks.
p. l.
Friendly service and good service nice burgers to eat
J.
U-shaped bar. Indoor seating is limited so best to visit on a dry day. Young's brewery beer on tap. Smoking areas and seats out front and back. Serves decent burgers and chips. Crowd is aged 25+
T. E.
Love this pub. Traditional and cosy inside. Ideal for winter. Come the summer lots of space outside or on the front patio. Nice for traditional ales and wine. Food not bad too. The chicken shop vibe on the menu is good.
C. J.
I love this place. Great pub and good selection of alcohol. Staff is friendly and good service. Had bangers and mash for 12.00 pounds. Tasty. However could had a bit more mash for my tastes.
M. B.
Excellent spot, great atmosphere and desig! Good food also, and excellent drinks.
But the service? Quite poor. Even average service would have seen a 4⭐ rating. But the impression of laziness and indifference to customers of most of the staff (not all) means I cannot in good conscience give better than 3⭐.
Good, but potentially great.
R. R.
Nice pub for drinks but was bit disappointed with the food. Eaten there twice; burgers were good, but food substitutions were made in one of our main courses without telling us before it arrived. Staff were helpful, but would have chosen another dish had we known in advance.
A. W.
A lovely hidden gem in a gorgeous secluded square away from the hubub of Brixton (but only a short walk from station).
Lovely little pub with charm and character. Food was great and served promptly despite a busy sunday service.
That said, once food was delivered, we weren't really looked after. No dessert menus offered, no more drinks offered (despite empty glasses on the table). Had to go up to the bar to pay our bill and ask for more drinks/dessert.
Cheeseboard was a bit below part - they had only mozarella, fried camembert and cheddar served with some dry crackers :/
Spritzes were nice and good wine selection.
I did feel sorry for the staff who were clearly struggling with the amount of people in the pub on a busy Sunday (and admitted they were understaffed). Just don't tell your customers/make them realise that you're struggling. First rule of service!!
L. C.
It’s a nice looking pub. Though the day I went they had a gas problem and could not get draught beers. Service was very good. Will have to come back when the draughts are working. Price of beer was like £4,60 for a bottle.
J. K.
Neat pub in a cool somewhat remote place. Decent selection of beers and plentiful taps. Really good for birthday parties since you can rent one of the rooms that fits about 30-40 people easily
K. F.
Sensational experience - Cormac was incredibly helpful in helping us set up a surprise birthday party. Great venue - would recommend highly. Only comment is the drinks are quite expensive but otherwise awesome
N. K.
Trinity was just perfect for my networking event, and the lovely manager Becky facilitated everything with me before hand to make sure all was prepared in time for the night. She and the whole team made sure everything ran smoothly and accommodated around 25 of us, who all left with a huge smile on their face. Everyone loved the venue upstairs and thought it was really cute with all the decorations and lights - it really gave my event an intimate setting. We were quite noisy as there was a quiz and music, and messy as there was lots of raffle stuff, but one of the staff members took to the cleaning straight away and it didn't even seem like much hassle for her. The location was perfect and atmosphere 100%, thank you to Becky and all of the team for your warmth and generosity! I'll definitely be recommending Trinity to my friends xxx
G. R.
Good Pub with good service. Came here for a Quiz night, quiz itself was pretty good, could do with some more pictures, diploids and other puzzles though. Food was pretty decent, had the burger and it tasted great!
J. W.
Young's pub in the centre of a square just off the main drag in Brixton. Full of millennials. If you like Young's pubs you'll like the Trinity Arms. If you think, as I do, that Young's are chasing the Antic pubs into a formula, and you like that formula, then you'll like the Trinity Arms. Service is fast and friendly although they were having trouble with the Pieroni tap.
Prices are OK given the area. Nice fire to sit around outside.
J. D.
Love it here. Have been for dinner with friends after work and had the most tasty burger and dirtiest fries - so bad but so gooood! I have also been to a friends birthday dinner here and hired the room upstairs which was fun.
T. B.
Fresh beer, cosy outside area.
S. J.
Great pub hidden away in Brixton. Good drink selection and nibbles. Nice outdoor section with areas perfect for groups. Friendly staff. All in all makes for a great atmosphere..
L. C.
A pretty nice pub just a 5 minute walk from Brixton station. Nice enough for a drink and a place to sit outside but was thought the food options were quite limited and my burger wasn't anything special. Not amazing but not bad all in all.
A. R.
Lovely terrace. Went there for a bday party of a friend of a nice friend that did Erasmus in Spain. Had such a blast. Great atmosphere and cute English tavern. The terrace was just great, when it was a bit cold went inside for a table with my friends.
Shame they did close a bit too early.
A. U.
Good pub to eat at. Covid measures in place, so ordering from your phone for drinks and food.
K. D.
Have been going here for a few years now and even tho we don't live in the area anymore we still like to drink here when visiting. The staff are always friendly and the beer gardens always been a favourite, they had recently had a refurb which took a bit of getting used to but they've definitely opened out the space and we loved the new fire pit!
G. W.
Cosy hidden, great customers, good service. New food menu delivers good fresh comfort foods, all made on the premises. Beer garden. Sunday roast is excellent value, getting a bit popular.. nice kind of hid away for Brixton. Definitely recommend a visit.
E. A.
Amazing place, really nice staff especially Cormac who is always helpful, easy going and also very friendly. I like to spend time there as they make you feel like home. Nice food and prices too.
Ewa
S. S.
Romantic and cosy with 2 coal fires to keep the place warm and create the ambience in winter. For summer there is seating in the garden. I haven't tried the food but it looks good and fair prices for the quality.
M. C.
Incredibly mediocre and overpriced food. Never found the beer to be anything to write home about either. We have been coming here on and off over the last two years and always come to the same conclusion.
Sometimes there is cat.
Olives are okay.
There is always a good atmosphere though.
H. F.
Love this pub. A great local or destination. Stunningly remodeled a couple of years ago. Always an amazing atmosphere and great food and drink to boot. What's not to lime.
A.
Full of rahs, which feels a little odd given it's 30 seconds from Brixton high street. Otherwise it's a standard Young's pub, but a nice enough place if that's your bag.
Edit: I'm not sure why the venue has replied to this review to try and misrepresent me as saying they have a diverse crowd. To clarify, my review is pointing out that there is no diversity. The clientele is purely white-middle class. There's nothing wrong with that in and of itself but don't pretend that's 'diverse' as it's a misrepresentation.
k.
Great pint of Neck Oil in a great pub. Scarlett was great.
R. E.
Food was fantastic. Little Gem of a Pub in a tranquil traditional setting less than 5 mins walk from the Tube. Would highly recommend for the Sunday Roast
S. C.
Too noisy, very slow and unobservant bar staff. Why have the music so loud - nobody's listening. People like to chat in a pub and it is virtually impossible in this bar. Good beer through.
c. r.
Coke was out of a plastic 2l bottle right infront of us for £3 a pint (I understand they have overheads) and staff were arguing regularly amongst themselves infront of us. Food and pub were nice but experience let us down
J. K.
Lovely local boozer. The staff and manger are great, too.
I.
It was packed on rugby day. Great beer and atmosphere.
N. M.
Visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and had a lovely time! Great selection of ales and beers, friendly staff, and a lovely vibe. Loved the music, and the decor was comfy and modern. Also a lovely little outdoor area with a fire!
W. W.
Good quality gastro pub, in a beautiful square. Friendly and efficient service, and reasonably priced for the quality. Best to book a table in advance.
k. s.
Popular pub so busy but didn't have too long to find a table. Steak was cooked well but the meal itself was quite small.
Z. D.
Good neighborhoody pub, average food, great service.
Definitely not a foody place but they won't keep you hungry too. Great ambience so if you're thinking of a drink - it's the place to go.
N. P.
Nice atmosphere, cosy, extra seating upstairs and outside, good food and great service, gets very busy especially Thursday and Friday evenings and over the weekend so if eating I would suggest booking in advance.
T. C.
A bit pricey and the selection of beer is really limited (not really acceptable with 100+ brewery's in London alone) but the pub is lively and fun and the garden out the back is huge, covered and with tables
N. S.
Really nice outdoor area. Fairly pricey
C. H.
Really amazing service from Cormack who couldn't have been more helpful in playing musical chairs to keep us happy, seated and drinking without a reservation. Thank you!
C. B.
In the melee of Brixton, the Trinity Arms is a rare find. It used to feel much smaller and cosier, but getting a seat was almost impossible. Since the refurb it feels much bigger and its much better. It has lost its locals/neighbourhood pub charm but its still a nice place to meet friends and look out on the quiet square or head into the garden during the summer. It is a really great space, I had a Trinity Burger the last time I visited, I had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive but when it did it was delish!
W. H.
Quite possibly the best pub in central Brixton but you'd hope so considering the competition. Staff are genuinely excellent and the atmosphere is always friendly but whoever designed the refurb is clueless as the furniture is far too big for the space and the previous circular layout was far better. Food is variable.
M. M.
Had a wonderful experience here Cormac our host was just out of this world exceptional services, will defiantly be back. Amazing good and drinks
S.
Really would have been 5 stars as I loved this place and would definitely go back despite the chewy meat. Great diverse bunch of staff all really friendly and welcoming, just as a pub should be.
R. D.
Best pub in our area. The atmosphere is great and the staff is always friendly. They should really open earlier, though... I'm often hungry before 12 pm.
G. B.
Nice pub tucked away off the main drag. Friendly, attentive bar staff & good mix of customers. Well worth a visit.
L. N. B.
Had leaving work drinks here, great seats reserved, no issue with changing numbers, and good food and drinks while we were there. Super happy with the night :)
T.
Good pub with good selection of beers. Good food on the menu. Went for a sunday roast however at 6 they had sold out already.
D. H.
Great traditional pub with an amazing central bar. The beers were good and the food was also tasty.
S. B.
Really nice pub in Brixton. Hard to believe you're so close to the hubbub and market. Typical expensive London prices and food but nice venue. Book ahead if you're going on a Saturday, even if just for drinks!
T. B.
The food was great and the service was friendly definitely worth a visit!
P. S.
Busy Youngs Brixton pub short walk from the tube station. Nice family vib despite the England rugby match, agreeable nontheless. Food was ok but main course looked lonely on a big plate without a portion of root carbs which arrived with shared veg afterwards. Only one guest beer, canned Beaverton Neck Oil.
K. B.
Lovely pub! Beautiful atmosphere with a cozy fireplace in the winter and a beergarden in summer. Serves nice burgers!
M. J.
Best pub in the area, great beer, great staff and delicious good value food. Getting a bit hipster-heavy of late but that's the way these things go.
T. R.
Great little cosy pub, the crowd are posh but local. Beer is good. Lovely fires and tasty bar snacks.
R. G.
Great little backstreet gem. Very comfy bar, rugby on TV, decent food, nice staff, a couple of good craft beers in the fridge. Highly recommended
A. P.
Really nice venue! Love the garden with fire in winter! Nice staff. Vegetarian burger and meals are not the best to be honest :)
N. W.
Big outdoor garden with a firepit and heaters. A touch in the expensive side, but not unreasonable. They have a great burger bar upstairs, which I'd thoroughly recommend!
L. V.
Amazing food & amazing service. From the moment I called to book the table to getting the bill. Highly recommend this pub.
R. B.
nice outdoor space with fire pit, comfy seats inside. usual crowd is alright, surprisingly juppy for Brixton but w/e. service is slightly slow as soon as it gets busier...
D. S.
Great Young's pub off the main high street. Changed a lot over the years to now feel a bit more gastro. Nice garden area out back.
V. M.
Good cocktails, cool vibe and burgers ain't half bad. My only complaint is that they got rid of the Star Wars theme in the back garden... :(
P. S.
Best place to meet before a gig at the nearby academy. Get in early though before it fills up. Nice traditional bar in a 3/4 complete Victorian Square
R. D.
Great pub, nice location and staff especially cormac who made our night
M. G.
Good local pub with a covered beer garden. Gets very busy on some evenings which is not helped by the relatively limited seatings indoor.
G. M.
Really enjoyed myself here. One off pub with mates. I don't live nearby so doubt I'll be back. But if I'm ever in the area I'll call in.
R. J.
Busy lively pub, met friends here before we went out to dinner. Good atmosphere and good selection of beers and largers
S. T.
Post lockdown visit was great- aircon upstairs was very welcome in this heat, good beer, good food, good times :)
D. P.
Traditional pub which appeals to people of all ages. Young's ales and reasonable food. Situated in a quiet square away from the Brixton rush.
E. R. J.
Love this pub. Big thanks to Cormack who was super helpful with our order!
C. T.
Hidden away traditional pub with great food. Thought Brixton was missing a traditional pub until I found this hidden gem! Proper beer and burgers that stand up against the best
T. D.
Nice enough pub, bar staff seemed a bit slow and uncertain but cheerful. Four or five draught beers. Pleasantly just off the main drag.
D. K.
Lovely pub but on busy night there's not a lot of indoor seating, plenty of outside space though for summer.
A. p.
Staff were really nice and helpful
C. P.
Nice pub, good beer, however very crowded and we couldn't use the garden due to noise complaints from neighbours :(
U. C. F.
We had a great lunch for 19 of us, as a leaving do. The service was quick and professional and the food was delicious
C. T.
Great pub in the heart of Brixton but in a quiet square.
Its just been renovated with a burger joint theme upstairs.
Great beer garden aswell.
B. W.
Proper cosy little English country pub, nestled in the heart of bustling Brixton. Outdoor seating to the front and cheeky little garden to the rear, friendly staff too. Well worth a visit.
v.
Hats off to the recent owners who did all they could to bring it up to date without alienating us locals. Not an easy job.
This and The Eff are all that is left of the real Brixton.
D. M.
Found by accident when looking for a pub quiz to while-away a few hours. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
C. C. V.
Great Pub with great atmosphere. Best Sunday roast in the area. Lovely food all round.
C. H.
Lovely night out. All safe, excellent service.
W. H.
nice garden, good service, quite average food
G. B.
Trinity Gardens is an hidden retreat in the heart of Brixton and the Trinity Arms is a cracking little session pub set in the corner of this surprisingly quaint bit of Brixton.
The pub itself has decent beer and friendly staff, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a meal especially with Brixton Market is just around the corner.
That said, it's without doubt one of Brixton's best boozers.

G. M.
Great venue. Friendly staff, well laid out, good food and service. Becoming a bit of a regular haunt now.
P. W.
Nice, stylish place with a pretty garden in the back. A bit on the expensive side for a pub. The food: not recommended, unfortunately.
Z.
Great pub with the usual drinks. Friendly crowd. Loud. Average pub food, the burger I had was average
J.
The place itself had a good atmosphere, but the food was not so great.
If you go for the Thursday quiz beware that it finishes quite late.
B. S.
One of the really good, proper pubs in this part of London. An open fire, good Young's bitter, pleasant staff.
G. F.
Good pub, bit too expensive in my opinion, double g n t £11.50 and was served in a long pint glass...
J. M.
Lovely pub. Getting very popular now so not always easy to find a seat. Garden is amazing.
T. 2.
Nice pub, spacious outside area. Has a restaurant are upstairs I believe, looked really nice.
R. M.
