Nice pub with friendly staff. Only criticism is the the t.v constantly on the news channel. I go to the pub to escape the news. Please turn it off trust me it will be a better atmosphere

Great place for a quiet pint. Not too busy at around 4pm, the Master Brew hit the spot!

Great pub food and a lively atmosphere. Closed a little early for my liking (about 6pm). There are decent Shepherd Neame ales at the ground floor bar, but if eating upstairs the selection narrows considerably. Staff were polite and friendly. I had a pretty good fish and chips. Nice large cod and chunky chips with a tiny bowl of pointless peas. I'd go there again, definitely.

Best place to grab a pint of Guinness or any other beer in westminster area. It's a small place always in rush. It's not a big deal that you will spot your favourite poltician or MP enjoying their pint. If you around westminster then go visit this place.

Came across this lovely pub by accident. Plenty of people enjoying the sun outside that evening. Busy place but service was prompt. Great staff and one of the best pints of Guinness I have had in London. Definitely will be visiting again soon.

Most beers were unavailable on a Sunday (but the ones that were on were fine). Really limited (almost no) seating inside and one of our group was treated very rudely when asking where the toilets were - basically accused of being a non-customer (when we'd just ordered a round of drinks) - which they must have trouble with at this location, but come on, you can ask politely... there are much better establishments around but the location is pretty good.

A good range of beers in here and you can stand on the street, under the trees during the summer, but it is a little small inside and there is not a lot of seating in the main bar. The staff are also grumpy once, when I was in here refused to serve someone because he neglected to say "please".

We popped into this place before braving the lines of West Minister Abbey. I'm glad we did, it was delightful. Small little pub with limited table area, so get in early or you may miss out. Food was very nice, we got the fish and chips and herbed chicken schnitzel (although they call it roast chicken). Good selection of beers on tap. Staff are polite. If you want somewhere close to eat before/after the Abbey, pop into the Westminister Arms, it's worth it.

This is probably a great pub, it feels like it should be. We stopped in for a quick bite late in the afternoon after getting caught out in the park in the rain. We were wet and uncomfortable and so were a bunch of other people with the same idea. It took forever to get our food and the lady at the downstairs bar was clearly annoyed at all of us tourists that flooded in at what must usually be a slow part of the day. The staff was trying. The food was good, the beer was good, a classic pub. Just, look: a swarm of tourists on a rainy afternoon in August are going to cramp the style of a legit local place like this.

Quaint but nice pub located in Westminster District, modelled after a traditional saloon with oak / heavy wooden counters and mirrored back panels. Beer is good quality but nothing special, Staff always friendly and professional on visiting. You can drink outside on the pavement but it is a small area (but well maintained) The inside has a decent sized ground floor with another area downstairs. Would prefer to rate this 3 1/2 stars as its better than average but lacks something notable to push the score to 4 or higher, worth a visit if passing and you are a fan of older traditional saloon pubs

The wine bar downstairs was great! They were happy to make me a shandy. The service was great and the curry was some of the best we've had. Super clean cozy right around the corner from Westminster Abbey.

A small, very busy Shepherd Neame pub in Westminster. Great beers available, but be prepared to enjoy your drink standing up as there are so few tables and chairs. There is, however, a basement bar. The venue is very popular with journalists and political hacks. Well worth a visit, but often rather crowded and difficult place to relax in.

A pub upstairs and a wine bar downstairs. Service was fast, and the pale ale in good condition. Prices are the low end of London's figures, so more expensive than even in most south-eastern towns. My white wine wasn't particularly great. On the positive side, the booths downstairs allow some privacy for conversations. Food is available but was not tested on this visit.

Nice pub, friendly staff and if you're lucky enough to be there on the May Bank Holiday, you'll see the spectacular Morris Men dancing outside. Two Guinness will cost you £10.40 and there is a wide variety of pub grub on offer.

A pleasant Shepherd Neame pub tucked away from the tourists. For a nice pint in Whitehall you can do much worse. The staff were welcoming, and there were enough to get good service. Standard Shepherd Neame beers on tap, and well cellared. Lovely pint of Spitfire :) If they had a few more snacks than Crisps and peanuts would be a 5 star review.

Food was all right but very disappointed there was very little choice on the menu (burger options were 1 beef and 1 vegetable). Brought my sister and her boyfriend for a very typical English lunch but not much to show (more different burgers, fishcakes, etc...). As for the beer, they did not have much choices either. I always seem to end up in here when in London without meaning to,. That must say something for it. Decent selection of ales. Very short on seats in the bar. Conjures up memories of times gone by when MP's were worth their salt. No doubt I will be back

This place is like 2 pubs in one. The upstairs, and the downstairs. Upstairs is a full bar. Downstairs is there class pub that serves food, beer, dessert. Great location in the heat of London.

This pub is handy as it doesn't get quite as rammed as some other Westminster boozers and it's great that you can stand across the street when the sun's out, but the staff come across as a bit rude and the beer isn't always kept well.

In Engeland hebben ze dus geen kindermenu's.
