🚇 Pimlico 🍺 £5.55 Estrella ❤️ A modern contemporary pub set inside a beautiful Victorian exterior. . Prior to visiting Pimlico I researched a few pubs to see which ones I would visit. One of the pubs I didn’t research was the @whiteswanpimlicolondon but I’m so glad I came here. This pub has a beautiful exterior with marble columns, gold detailing and victorian lamps. Inside the decor is modern and contemporary with exposed brickwork, large chandeliers and a wonderful wrought iron spiral staircase. At the time of visiting it was table service only, we were taken to a table by a really friendly member of staff and he came back shortly after to take our order. My Son and I ordered a couple of Estrella’s and some tapas as we were a few pubs in to our crawl and felt famished. The food was really tasty and the portions were a good size, the beer was also good and not overly priced. The service was excellent, the young lad who served us was polite, efficient and informed us of how long our food would be. The atmosphere here is upbeat and buzzy but the pub is big enough that you still have your own space to socialise in. . I haven’t been to a @mcmullens1827 pub in some time and these guys have a great pub in The White Swan. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 21/05/21

Nice restaurant. Quite vintage (rather not use dated) interior. I may have to visit again on a separate day as my visit this time was for a pre-booked Christmas 2021 team get together that kept on getting rescheduled so what we had was our Christmas menu still, in March. Based on that, I cannot comment on what their normal menu is like. The Christmas meal was ok although not exactly the sort of things I would order for myself but as it was a pre-set menu for the team, I had to make do but overall it was edible although I struggled to finish my 2 courses as like I said, they were not really my cup of tea on a normal day. My cocktail 🍸 was good except I underestimated the alcoholic content until I started feeling very relaxed. Lol. They have made good use of the space they have. They have the dining area downstairs and a spiral stairway leads you to the upstairs dining area. The toilet was ok and neat. Thankfully no foul odors. I hope you like the photos.

Didn't get a chance to take pic of my meal. Was so hungry. Really cool place. Very hard to find seating as the rugby was on but we found seating in a lovely corner. I've stopped by on the way to the embassy to refuel and have a drink. They let me in with a bike (always a bonus and have been super friendly) the chicken burger looked burnt, but it was super tender inside and probably one of the better I'd had chips were alright too. Definitely will stop by again if I'd get a chance 👍 cheers

This is one of my all time favourite pubs, and I am not local to Pimlico. I only come here when we are going to Tate Britain, which has now also become an excuse to go to this pub. The interior has a wonderful and relaxed aesthetic, has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. There is a good selection of beers and the food is of high quality.

Fantastic little pub. The staff are really friendly and there's alot of choice when it comes to the drinks. The while pub is very clean and well looked after and the prices are brilliant for the location. I highly reccomend visiting this place if you fancy a pint or two. Plus the floor have just been varnished so looking great!!

Has old an fashioned vibe. I go for the quiz on Monday. Widish range of lagers and beers. No outdoor or garden that I have noticed. Located on a main road with some transport links. Quiz is good.

This was a great pub for a sociable dinner. My dining companions had the hunters chicken (which they said was pretty good) and I had the vegan curry (which was delicious). That night there were two large screens running football matches, a quiz night in the back, and a relatively quiet area where we could talk easily. I highly recommend this pub.

We popped in yesterday afternoon for a couple of pints. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We drank Summer Solstice Ale which I'd also thoroughly recommend. Well kept and a lovely refreshing beer. Next time we're in Pimlico we'll definitely be back.

Twas a rainy Sunday and we sought food to fill the emptiness of our bellies. We found our way to a charming pub where the staff may of not known our names but were friendly . We ordered and sat and our food arrived promptly, it's warmth and deliciousness sated our hunger. While the cold cider went down smoothly and the excited cheers from other patrons filled the air.

Had a cocktail here on the way to dinner. Place was packed on Saturday night. We were lucky to find space at the bar. Our original interaction was odd as the bartender was friendly, but didn't really know his product and didn't take my order, but order of the other two in my party. Drinks were not anything special. Feel for prices commanded and amazing environment, at the least some sort of cocktail / wine list should be presented.

This was our first meal in London. Came in early and they were getting ready for England to pay in the World Cup. The pub has a very nice decor and plenty of seating. What surprised me most was at how clean the toilets were! That is a nice plus for weary travelers.

Me and a few friends came here on Saturday 3rd of July for my birthday celebrations and I had the best time! Was a great atmosphere especially with the England football match on! went on a Thursday evening on way back to our Hotel. Blokey noisey sports TV type of pub..... but!! the food was superb! and they went the extra 10 miles to pander to our fussy eater granddaughter. The steak pie was exceptional, one of best I've ever tasted, thin crisp crust stuffed full of slow cooked beef steak with a delicious gravy and mash. Thanks guys and thanks for the quieter corner. The White Swan is a stylish and pleasant pub in Pimlico, one of very few traditional pubs in this area and a great place to have a decent lunch after a visit to the nearby Tate Britain. It is owned by McMullen's brewery, which of course means that the majority of beers you'll find here are McMullen's, of which I can recommend the Victory Stout. Guest ales are also available. The decor is much more stylish than usual, and it's also a spacious pub with different areas, so it doesn't get too loud even when it's busy. As usual with McMullen's venues, the pub food is better than average. This is truly a place to unwind and linger. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended for the Pimlico area.

Was there on Saturday 14th August to celebrate my partners 50th birthday, there was 30 of us in total. The staff were very friendly and helpful the buffet was amazing and plentiful. The food is good but nothing extraordinary - it will do for a Sunday brunch. Can be packed so prepare to queue. The interior and vibe is very hip - it's one of those restaurants that really understand the concept of fooding & brunch and incorporated it to their restaurant venue to give you a really pleasant experience. The service is outstanding - not the knowledgeable type that give you magnificent experience, but the genuinely friendly service who are always there to help and have you at their best interest.

I live nearby but never stopped in here until the world cup finals. I really liked it! Can't comment on food as if only met people for drinks. Bartenders were really friendly and super efficient, which.... Is kind of rare in London pubs, just an opinion! 😏

Disappointing food quality. This pub has a good variety of beers and ales and is close to Pimlico station. Unfortunately the food was poor when we visited last week. I had the pie and the batter was so hard that I struggled to cut through it let alone eat it.

Came here for a pub lunch - it's recently been renovated and is much nicer than it was previously. I ordered the chicken burger, which I regret as it was pretty bland and left a lot to be desired. The others I was with had mixed feelings about the food, apparently the Korean pork belly was nice. The selection of beers were good, and there were some nice guest ales. All reasonably priced as well. Overall, a relatively average fare, let down by the food but otherwise a good drinking spot in a nice location.

We had been here to meetup a friend and really wanted to stay just for a drink. However, the place is very quaint and attracts some very lovely people. We ended up staying here for 4 hours and loved it. They had sports on which was a good feature too. The place is very clean and staff was very friendly. The food portions are tiny. Me and a friend went for a couple drinks around $5 a pint which is normal for the area. Beer on tap is quite good but the food is atrocious. We ended up bonding with the table next to us after hearing them complain of the size of their portions. I do not recommend coming here for food but the bar staff is pleasant and they serve alcohol so you could do worse. I will also point out that it is sandwiched in between about a dozen offices so is very crowded sometimes especially Thursday and Friday evenings.

Good pub for sports fans as they have a number of TVs showing all the big sporting events. The pub also does good pub food and in particular very large Sunday roasts. A little pricey but that's unsurprising given it's location. Would recommend as a nice place to go for a drink after going to an exhibition at the nearby Tate Britain gallery.

Agree that this is possibly the friendliest pub in the area. Staff are charming, good menu, beer choice okay. Great place to watch sport (3 HD screens) however it never feels sports bar - unless of course there's a big match on, but it remains friendly and never gets out of hand.

This place has recently (June 2018) been refurbished and is one of the better places to have a pint in the area. Good for watching sports and the beer (cask ale), lager and craft beer options are pretty extensive. The place is a bit "after work" to be considered great and, whilst the recent upgrade is most welcome, some of the decor just doesn't work!

Great service here and very friendly staff. Went the extra mile preparing my drink to my very specific specification. They hold a quiz night on a Monday that has a very cheap entrance fee. Crowd is always very friendly all days of the week. Great little smoking area outside where you are allowed to bring your drink. Very close to Pimlico station so easy to stumble onto the Victoria line

Unpretentious decent food reasonably priced. My cheese in puff pastry with mashed potatoes and greens was excellent and unusual. Well designed seating means you can watch sport on a screen or sit near the window well away from the sport and just talk.

A nice little pub, this place is great to stop for a drink after a visit to Tate Britain with friends. It's never been too busy when I've come here, so it's never too noisy and there's always a seat. Most recently I came by with a friend on Tuesday night after the Tate Member's Private View, and we were pleased they served Aperol spritz! The bar staff were friendly but not too cheery, so it really made us feel welcome and at ease.
