Had a sensational evening here about three years ago, still comes up in conversation and is referred to fondly as the legendary pub in Fenchurch Street. We completely forgot the name of the place in a drunken haze, but our experience there is etched firmly in mine and my boyfriend’s memory, to the point that upon stumbling upon it on google, I felt compelled, as though it was my civic duty, to write this review. We met Essex’s best golfer there. We mutually bought each other’s parties shots of apple sourz all evening. He sang a rendition of chocolate salty balls on karaoke, the place erupted in rapturous applause. We were all chef in that moment. He invited us to afters at his. We declined. I hope he is doing well, and is still playing off of 4. It’s rare a pub in London, especially a chain, will elicit such fond and frankly stupid memories, but I’ll give it to the Windsor, and for that I’ll give you 5 stars. 6 if I could.

Been to this pub a couple of times for breakfast, it’s always spot on! Team are all very friendly & look after you. The pub itself is clean & tidy. You wouldn’t think you’re in the middle of London! Good selection of ale to choose from. Will be back soon

Great food and excellent service, absolutely faultless for me.

First time customer at The Windsor, went there for a private function that was OK, but The Windsor Staff, although few in number worked hard at keeping on top of the duties of running a bar and considering how busy the place was did quite a good job. Bar is close to the business area part of the City, with Tower of London close by, so well situated. Considering the size of the bar, it has quite a good mix of available seating areas, both inside and out, and dancefloor area, for this private function. Although I did see evidence that floor space had been cleared for the purpose of the function. Only drank there but seemed to be quite a well stocked bar, run by pleasant staff. So on the whole a good experience, but not one based on an everyday, business as usual atmosphere.

This pub is superb!! From beginning to an end, great experience. Clear view of all the rearrangements that they have done in order to stay safe. Furthermore, this place is everything you'd want to have for a proper pub, their food is outstanding and plenty of drinks to choose from! Whether it's a night out or a cheeky drink before you catch a train, this is hands down the place to be! Props to Juan who made my visit an extraordinary experience.

Great pub especially if you want a beer before heading home. Food is pretty good with lots of options for vegetarians and vegans. The play most of the televised sports and multiple screens. They have special nights and DJ and discos on Fridays. There’s also a poker night on Thursdays. Bit of fun for everyone. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly!

"Saturday prices" (20% hike) seem a bit much when typically the area is completely dead? Also the payment system they've opted for is very unintuitive, it's not even a proper app just a portal to a site. Why a pub with so few visitors couldn't offer bar or table payment is beyond me. Tough to swallow £5.40 pints when you're in a wind tunnel and there's lots of cheaper alternatives that offer service (& with a smile).

My favourite place in the city of London. Walking along the streets of this financial area it's really hard to find a place where you can just sit back and relax, until I found this not-so-hidden gem next to Fenchurch Train Station. They've outdone themselves with their order app, so you just sit, order through your phone and it's basically full table service (both drinks and food! Isn't that crazy?!). With great beers, wine and spirits to choose from, you can really have a taste of what is the true experience of a proper pub. On top of that, the service is just amazing! Props to Lauren, Josh and Helena for being so kind to me. Even though I was in a rush hour, they made everything they could to make this an unforgettable experience. AAAAAAND great price for everything!! Couldn't find anything cheaper around. Definitely worth the visit and re-visit.

Great pub, staff very welcoming especially the manager Jenny who funny enough comes from my home town. The food was really good and so reasonable. Was a bit cautious about visiting a pub with the way things are at the moment but with all the measures that were in place at the Windsor if all pubs are set out like this I can't see why they are being blamed for the spread of Covid. Thanks again guys we had an amazing night will definitely be coming back and letting all my mates know about you.

Coming to London for the first time, all I wanted to do is finally visit an English pub. And this takes the crown. A classic yet modern English atmosphere, with everything I expected and more. Cleanliness, warm welcome, delicious food and a carefully selected choice for drinks. They really know what they're doing and they're really good at it, I asked for recommendations on wine and spirits and I got an A plus answer from Dale and Jeff. Hands down the best pub in town!

I’ve been a customer for the Windsor many times and I always go there because of the nice atmosphere and the nice staff they have. I was a little skeptical when the pubs reopened because of the fear of a new outbreak. My fears went away once I saw how the premises are rearranged and the staff work as a well-oiled machine to make the experience as pleasant as possible and also super safe and clean. They now have an app to order. But also you can choose (as I always do) the lovely Juan to spoil you with his amazing smile and serving skills. I can not recommend this pub enough as it is always good for great selection of drinks and super tasty food. The best of all: Great price!!

Things happen for a reason and thankfully my train was delayed otherwise I wouldn't have been in this amazing pub! Was starving and I had the vegan burger which was insanely good! Good place to grab a pint before hopping on a train from Fenchurch Street station. Didn't try the food but looked like pretty standard pub grub what I could tell. A lot of the tables were reserved and it was tricky finding somewhere to perch but that was on a Friday evening during peak commuter hours

We walk by this pub regularly but for some reason have never stopped by. That has changed today — been there for a World Cup match over lunch. The food menu offers plenty for all tastes and the options are cheap. I had a superb salad with halloumi and my partner could not be more happy with his beef and ale pie. Beer and gin menu are great and the desserts taste delicious as well. We have already booked for England’s upcoming match ;)

A good old London boozer for the commuters. Right next to Fenchurch Street station. 5 guest real ales/craft beers. Usual selection of booze otherwise including prosecco. Don't expect anything up market. Just a commuter city pub. But it is clean and the service is good. Lots of seating. Busy on Thursday evenings. Not had the food there but the menu is standard pub grub from a freezer.
