Anthony was very accommodating even moved us inside as it was freezing today! From the start of the booking he was very informative and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone! K. H.Really great local wine shop with a wide range of new and old world natural and organic wines from smaller producers and Bethnal Green Winery Renegade. There’s also a plethora of delicious deli items (great to make up your own Xmas hampers for friends and family) and the option to drink in (or out on the terrace if weather allows). Staff are knowledgeable about the wine and really cheerful. Look out for their free tastings too!
V. S.Great selection of natural wines, I’m a big orange wine drinker and was really impressed. Service was subpar though - one of those places where they make you feel like they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to give them 50 pounds. I’d like to go back but I’ll stick to stores with friendlier staff!
S. E.Went to this shop recently. Operating very safely which was great to see and was recommended two really lovely bottles of wine by a very knowledgeable member of staff. He introduced me to sparkling red wine and got me back into white wine. Lovely place, great choice of wines and vast array of beers. Support local and go!
A. A.Great concept and assortment, but subpar recommendations. Have been in twice recently and asked for very clear and specific recommendations (pet nat rose/orange/red with low acidity) and been advised to buy wines that end up not fitting that taste profile (high acidity). If you don’t have it, just tell me and I can happily buy something else. Disappointing when you’re spending £30+ a bottle
