K. H.Maybe I picked the wrong day to come in here. Everyone seemed to know each other and stared when I walked in. Was lacking atmosphere. Quiet for a Saturday night. Had a pint of Adnams Ghostship which was well served. Will have to give this pub another try!
D.Despite being right opposite the prison wall which may put some people off, (Don't worry, no one a going to jump over and steal your beer!) The pub has a friendly atmosphere, many times I've popped in for a couple after work and ended up staying longer due to good and funny conversations. It has a pool table, beer garden which sometimes holds music events. Matt and Caroline who are the hosts are lovely people and have always made me feel welcome.
