Reviews of North Pole
L. M.I had a fabulous experience at the North pole. I've been coming over the years but not very frequently. The bar staff/ waiting staff are super friendly and welcoming. Me and my boyfriend visited on Friday night and could not fault it. The food was fresh and delicious and the service even better. I wish I remembered the name of the lovely lady who serves us. You can tell this establishment care about welcoming new customers. Would highly recommend.
S. A. M.Our first visit to The North Pole & will definitely be returning. The pub has a welcoming atmosphere & the staff were lovely. The food was delicious, we were lucky that the Moules were available, before & after photos attached.
S. T.Doesn't look like much from the outside but is wonderful and warm on the inside. Plenty of seating, a fireplace, great steak (£30 for fillet 8oz)! Quite the outdoor area via stairs downward as well as two giant slides and wooden play equipment for kids. Separate space for parties and reservations but quite low ceiling with chandeliers to dodge for tall people! Great experience, daughter loved the bubblegum ice-cream too.
C. S.Lovely old pub. My friend and I were on our holiday (left the men at home!) and the Landlady/Staff made us feel so welcome that we went back 3 nights running! The food is home cooked and delicious. Great atmosphere and the locals were kind and very friendly to us as well. We got to know their dogs also which was so nice. We discovered through chatting to the lady behind the bar, on our last night, that her daughter lives only about 11 miles from us, back in Suffolk. Small world! We will be returning at some point soon for more great service, food, company and much laughing! Thank you to you all. X
R. C.This pub was lovely, staff were great. The food was amazing, the fact they went the extra mile for my cousin and created him a dish alternatively to what was on the menu because I had the last rack of ribs and he has to have the short ribs. They catered for him changing the sauce and even gave him an extra rib.... (jealous) the prices are fair especially for the food considering the portion sizes were very generous and tasted perfect.

F. G.Must have arrived at a busy time as it took ages to be served. Unfortunately the Bombadear I ordered was not top notch, not sure if it was the first of the day. Have been here a few times before and had a very good experience. Hopefully next time things will be better.
