Lovely pub for family and children. We visited today with children age 2 and 12. The staff/owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was lovely classic pub grub and good size portions. Kids had a great time liked their icecreams was entertained with colouring inside and loved the animals and play area outside. They didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back and in better weather to stay longer. 😊

Had the most fabulous time. The tribute night was fantastic. The landlords and staff made it for me. They are so welcoming and friendly. The place itself is so clean. We were so impressed we booked for the carvery. The food was fantastic and again met with the same welcome. Met and fed animals (which are rescues and so we’ll looked after). Can’t wait to come back. Well done to the landlords and staff xxx

Went in for a Sunday roast with family and it was great. All the meat was cooked perfectly, the veg was lovely and the amount of food was almost obscene. No one cleared their plate, although we all gave it a good go. Only criticism was that the pub was a little cold and a bit dark, maybe a few fixtures and fittings needed fixing/tidying up. That being said I would definitely go again.

Nice pub in pleasant surroundings. A great welcome from the landlord which was really nice. Great to visit somewhere that has some animals to see too, A bouncy castle in the children's play area when we visited. Enjoyed our afternoon here in the sunshine.

Visited The Bill Inn today looking for a lovely pub and a country walk & what a gem we found. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed & the staff we very attentive, Mark was very friendly & chatty. We ordered food & drinks & sat in the sunshine in the great garden at the back with background music playing giving it a lovely feel. They also had a childrens play area, a bouncy castle & rescue animal area where you could feed the animals for a small charge. Our food was excellent quality & justified the price plus the menu selection was extensive & options for everyone. (Special mention to the cheesy chips!) After our walk we had to pop back in for Ice Cream & they even had slushies which were perfectly refreshing. Met & chatted with the owners Colin & Dan to let them know what a fabulous pub they had & general all round offerings. They do Sunday roasts (which we will try when we return) tribute act nights plus lots more. What a wonderful place to escape to for a day or night out. Thank you very much your hospitality was first class as were you. See you soon. P.S. the chef is amazing! 😉 Get yourself down there & sample everything for yourself you will not be disappointed. We booked the function room with a buffet and disco for my belated 40th party and would like to say a massive thank you to all of the team at The Bull for a great night. Buffet was amazing, great dj and music and lovely staff who were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend!!
