We had dinner there a couple of week ago and it was brilliant! Food was amazing and staff were great! Nice selection of cocktails! We all had a very good time!

Had a lovely little lunch here. There wasn't a huge variety especially with a few items not being available and my little boy being extremely fussy but they were accommodating though. There was a really nice homely feel about it but still felt clean, contemporary and no way stuffy. The young waitress was really friendly too 👌

Was taken there for lunch by my managers as I am leaving my job soon. I had gammon egg chips and pineapple, it was lovely, one other had rotisserie chicken, and 1 had pizza. 2 of us had dessert I had a trio of cheesecakes yummy, and another had sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Looked lovely. From entering to leaving, the staff were attentive, it's very clean and comfortable and I will definitely go back. Also I didn't have to pay this time which was nice

Nice pub overlooking the Green. Beer garden in the front where you can sit and watch the cricket. Interior clean and bright. Good staffing levels mean not long to wait for service. Nice place to spend an hour or 2.

I'm afraid I'm not overly impressed. It looks good and has a lovely outside area and inside is pretty good too. It has a car park which is a bonus. The food and drinks are too expensive particularly as the food quality is not great. I have visited more than once before leaving this review because I believe anyone or anywhere can have a bad day. The pub is part of the Mitchell and Butler group which in my experience has varying standards. The Horseshoes in East Farleigh is part of the same group and in the same sub group too and we have always had good food and service there. If you like Bearsted , and we do cross the field to Oak on the Green for a far better experience.

The food was mediocre. The one mushroom my wife had with her steak was burnt, the tomato past its best and the greenery was a bit limp and crinkled. My fries were over salted, I can't have much salt and prefer to be able to add my own, to taste. My wife's steak was okay and so was my rotisserie chicken but overall we were a little disappointed, especially as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We were hoping for something a bit special but it wasn't found here.

A very pleasant family lunch at The White Horse. The food and service were very good, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We had our 9 month old grandaughter with us, a highchair was quickly made available to us, and positioned so that she was fully included in the lunch.

Booked a table for 4 yesterday for lunch. The menu was quite extensive and most dishes sounded attractive. I settled for Prawn & Crab Linguini...it was so good! My wife chose the same which ended with two very satisfied customers. My daughter had chicken and her huband had pork belly. Both said how well their choices were cooked & presented. Our waiter (Tom?) was attentive and charming. Well done all.
