One of 4 long established bars on or near the Green. First visited back in 1975. Good real ale with choice of 6 on this visit. I had the Brightside Beech Inn Brew which was fine. Outside seating.

I visited The Beech Inn over Easter with a friend and it was great. The newly refurbished beer garden is amazing and what a sun trap! Only really went for drinks but the pizzas looked so good we couldn't resist. Will definitely be back to this great little pub where the staff are both friendly and efficient.

Honestly a lovely pub, with majority great staff and lovely environment. Just one bartender who is really rude/grumpy who gives you the feeling he doesn't want you to be there, annoyed at serving things. Wasn't just to us too would be a higher rating otherwise. Everything was just an issue for this one bar person.

Visited the beech in the winter and has always been a lovely quaint and cosy spot to grab a drink however visiting during the summer has been amazing, a beautiful beer garden and really attentive staff. Feels like an authentic pub amidst a bevy of trendy bars. For people moving to Manchester from smaller areas it's a true comfort and reminiscent of the 'local'. Great pub, very popular, very friendly, likes dogs, has pizzas. Attracts lots of people in summer, or any hint of sun, to the large, recently upgraded (again) beer garden. Amazing little community pub with lovely staff that provide a welcoming atmosphere and a quality night out! The beer garden is gorgeous and in my opinion the best in Chorlton! Even though they only do pizzas they are really nice, perfect spot for lunch with a great selection of beers and spirits! Definitely worth a visit if you haven't already!

We’ve been coming here for years, the best drinking establishment in Chorlton. What really makes the place is the staff and other regulars. It’s such a friendly place where you can relax. Pizzas and great. Dog friendly too! Don’t ever change.

The Beech is simply the best boozer in Chorlton! t's been our local for decades and has gone through many changes in that time. But it has always retained that feeling of being of being a 'proper pub'. It's most recent refurbishment a couple of years ago was sensitively done - keeping all the character but smartening it up where necessary. And the important stuff was retained - a great choice of ales and brilliant staff. The pub has skilfully navigated its way through the craziness of Covid and has always been scrupulous in observing and enforcing restrictions without alienating its customers. The beer garden is the biggest and best on Beech Road and provides a wonderful venue to sit a while away a sunny Summer afternoon. Oh - and check out the pizzas, they're bloody lovely!

Visited here for the first time today. The pub is beautiful, very clean and has a lot of character. The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough. They have a wide and extensive range of products. Had a garlic pizza bread and it was superb. Will definitely visit again.

Pun now open again after a refurb and change of management. I was worried that is was going to be ruined, but it is extremely nice and has a lovely vibe to it. It has been smartened up and even the toilets are fresh and new. Nice range of changing beers, I did not try the food, but the Pizza looks delicious - really nice. My only gripe is with the beer prices; £4.20 for a pint of 3.8% beer from Brightside is really quite steep, but this is Beech Road and for that reason it is to be expected I suppose. I was glad to be carrying a CAMRA card as that did give me a very welcome 20% off which I must say is much more generous than many pubs give. I will come back and try the Pizza soon and hope to catch the Plum Porter..

Ita a boozer though and through. Theres 3 in close proximity so why the Beech? The clientele is perfect, a core demographic that ranges from around 20 to 50. The drinks are great and averagely priced, the beer garden is one of the largest in chorlton. And finally the atmosphere is always energetic yet pleasant. Popular pub- gets extremely busy Friday/Saturday. A few different rooms, each with their own atmosphere and a beer garden to the rear. Food is a simple but quirky menu with around six hotdogs, ranging from classic to a welse rarebit: all very tasty and nicely done. Well worth checking out, a typical boozer!

This is my favourite pub in Chorlton. The decor in fairness looks like it has seen better days. But I wouldn't want it changed for the world. The beer is good and there is the 'Hungry Gecko' trailer in the beer garden. The food from the Hungry Gecko is really good. But be warned some of the items are very very hot.
