Absolutely loves this bottomless brunch and definitely the best one I have ever been too! The atmosphere in the place is great with a very cool DJ. We never had an empty glass and Phoebe and Tom where fantastic. Would recommend to everyone!

Don’t know what all the Negative Nancys are talking about. We came for a bottomless brunch and staff were attentive and SO friendly and chatty. Great bottomless fizz and pizza brunch place. Was there for two hours. Ate loads of pizza, drank plenty of fizz and many cocktails. No idea how they make money considering the sheer volume of Prosecco we all drank. Was so good we stuck around to drink beer and play pool all afternoon. For bottomless brunch it’s probably 5 star (as long as you like pizza) I knocked off a star because the pool tables are really bad (not level and the cloths need changing) also there is no chalk for your cue.

Disappointed I should of spoke to someone before I booked the bottomless brunch as it’s a pizza served in a cardboard box and it wasn’t my favourite but that’s just a personal preference. I bought a gin-and tonic which was £10 cause I opted for a double but the tonic was out of the soft drink pump which they filled my glass right to the top so couldn’t even taste the gin I asked why I wasn’t given a bottle of tonic to pour my own and they don’t do that so thought that was a rip off.To sum up Great place but I won’t be going buying food and drinks there anytime soon..

staff were friendly enough but facilities were lacking, there were only pizzas on the menu even though online says there's burgers, tapas, hot dogs etc the electrics went off randomly including the light above our pool table and the TV, no staff were to be seen so I had to go and find one, when I did manage to get hold of someone, they just kept flicking the light switch and said its just not working, I informed them that electrics went off including TV and maybe the fuse had tripped? ladies toilets downstairs had no mirror... an absolute must sorry overall was okay, might have been a better experience if we were upstairs in the light but wernt allowed as there was a function on

The Black Dog Ballroom is an excellent pub located in the central area of Manchester, near Oxford Road railway station. It is a place on three floors, with a ballroom, very popular with people of all ages. The menu available is varied, assorted and of quality, both in terms of food and drinks. The hamburgers are really excellent. Cocktails of all kinds are served, including non-alcoholic ones and there are dishes for vegetarians. The only flaw is the volume of the music, always a little too high.

We went to bottomless brunch on Saturday and had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was great with 90s music, the pizza was delicious and our server Stefan was great! He was really attentive and friendly and we never had to wait for refills...even when the bar filled up. We're already planning on going back before Christmas (fingers crossed they have an 80s theme)! Would highly recommend :)

Outstanding burgers from ICON @ Brickhouse Social yesterday. My self and my partner had the Juicy Lucy, The Fried Cheese Burger with sides of Lamb Chops and Chicken Tenders all cooked to perfection. The Fried Cheese Burger was crazy, I highly recommend everyone tries it at least once! The quality for the price was phenomenal. The Service was perfect, friendly and quick. Went there for bottomless brunch. They seemed to be understaffed as we were waiting SO long to get the first order of drinks in. We had to keep constantly trying to catch the bartender's attention which was annoying. When we ordered some cocktails they were so weak. I feel they had very little alcohol in them. Basically just juice. The pizzas were really good!! Fortunately towards the end of our 2 hours, a different bartender made up for the rubbish service as he was super accomodating and brought over lots of drinks. I wish I got his name, think he could have been apart of management!

Staff are quite pleasant but with covid it’s a bit of a joke. Security ask for ID (despite obviously looking of age). I asked for them/I to have hand sanitiser before/after handling my ID and they pointed at a dispenser that had been empty for weeks. Same issue at the bar when requesting a pool table (asks for ID with no sanitiser).. The toilets are under refurbishment, had to use the club toilets downstairs which were grim. The free pool when buying drinks is great but the place is down hill since being black dog.

We hosted our post-charity event party in the loft at BrickHouse. The room was perfect for our 30 or so guests. The lads enjoyed using the pool table and we were able to play our own music through the sound system all night. We had the upstairs booked. Nice size bar area with an outside area which wpuld be wonderful in the summer. Some games were put on and we had the Karaoke room (same floor) open for an hour. Food was really good for a buffet. I'd go back just for the mushroom pizza.

The menu is extensive and the majority of the food is nice, but I would stay away from some of the more creative aspects of the menu because they don't work as much as you would like them too. Great place to go with mates or a group of friends to have a chat, drinks and a few games of pool. Chalk boards all across the wall by the tables which helps. Tables are in decent condition and the prices not stupid either. Some people seem to like standing around the tables if they're in a big group that block your shots. But the room around the tables isn't really enough in general, especially for larger groups playing killer. Good place to go before a night on the town.

Attended my departed friend's memorial party here. The music was a bit niche but it didn't seem to phase the management or staff who were all very polite and attentive. My only quibble with the place was the bar ran out of a lot bottles/cans towards the end of the night.

Went for food and drinks this evening as as the kitchen has reopened and the place in reinvented! We had a chicken starter, kebab, pizza and some halomi fries and it was all without doubt delicious! Great flavour matches and the perfect accompaniments. New taproom selection is great and gives so many options on cocktails and ales. This place is really turning around and could quickly become a new favourite of mine. Only slight bit of advice - when serving a pizza make sure it has a steak knife/pizza cutter as a normal table knife can be vit tricky to get through it.

The party we were with rented the room at the back so I didn't see the rest of it. It's a bit dingy and feels dirty inside. The drinks were reasonably priced and we had a nice buffet but I don't think I would go again.

Nothing special in there, just your regular bar. I got the feeling it was... posh isn't really the right word, but it's the closest. I didn't feel particularly comfortable in there, the crowd didn't feel right. I also didn't like the seating/chairs, they weren't very comfortable. It's fine if you like bars, or you don't mind standing around a bar with a drink in your hand, but it wasn't really for me- I was there for an after-work thing and had been led to believe it was a place you could unwind, which wasn't the case for me

Went here for a kizomba night, friendly staff they had lollipops and sweets out to snack on which was pretty cute. Bouncer outside was super cool had great chats with him. Great place to go.

Everyone still calls it Black Dog Ballroom. I get it, there were two, and the bowling one, so a name had to change. Still a sort of nice place but there's no escaping the stale doughnut smell in the ladies and the very expensive beer. Sure you were showing the football but allowing people to listen as well was a big nope so just very loud music instead with nobody dancing. Least the floor isn't sticky anymore I guess.

Booked the top bar for works do, great food, nice staff, but some of the team were unhappy that the smoking terrace got closed due to noise restrictions and they had to negotiate the steep staircase. Not good when you've had a few drinks!!

Went here to grab a beer, watch the football and play pool. Food wasn't bad and prices for pool and drinks are reasonable as well. Nice chilled out place for a Saturday afternoon sport related chill out.

Amazing food and super lovely staff that make your visit even better. I come here on Mondays sometimes for the half price food. The sharing pizza is gigantic! Look at the pic, it's hard to defeat for two people. I was looking for family size pizza in Manchester for ages. This place has one and met my expectations! Really tasty. Loaded fries very nice too.

Free bowling on Wednesday, table bookings are available giant 20" pizzas and other foods available. Reasonable drinks selections and prices. Limited number if tables and can get very busy.

It was lovely food was great but it is completely inaccessible for those in wheelchairs and not very accessible for people with mobility issues, although they tried to find ways in for us all involved steps.

Interesting, I have often been to this building when it was Black Dog BR , and had no idea there was a third upstairs room containing pool table and karaoke area , great little area for 25 to 40 folk to gather and have a laugh.

Nice staff and nice place to eat for lunch (£5 menu). Good place to start for a night out with the terrace on the second floor and ofcourse happy hour bears n cocktails.
