You know what to expect at these places. But every now and again you get that one member of staff who goes out there way to make your day better. And that's what I got here. But I must say. Good food, usual great range of drinks. And still at reasonable prices which is needed at this current time.

Pleasant modern decor & a quiet location, with outdoor seating. One of the better J D Wetherspoon's I've visited in some time. Food & service was excellent. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Quick and simple service, wetherspoon app had a few issues knowing what was in stock so ordered at the counter. Food was cooked to a higher standard than our usual wetherspoon in westhoughton so it was much better experience all round. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Nice large pub - had an IPA on for 99p when I visited. Prompt service of food, well maintained bar, nice and clean, friendly staff, toilets are upstairs and well maintained. Not exactly a character filled building as it is new but decent enough. Walkable to Sale RFC although across rough ground.

Went for breakfast and chose the traditional breakfast. Just the right size, anymore and I could have been asleep again. Only downside but was OK for me is that the bacon and additional black pudding was very well done but I do like it like that, others may not.

I understand it's a busy pub. But it's hard to get a smile from the floor staff or help. The manager or assistant manager where lovely and helpful after I complained about the lengthy wait time. The establishment itself. The food is always good and above normal standards for a weatherspoons, it's doesn't come out fast or slow, So 5* to the kitchen staff👩‍🍳 The drinks are on point, The building and layout is nice I like it and the toilets are clean and fresh. For me it's just the staff that are frosty faced. I go every weekend and it's the same. Possibly it's Just me 🤷🏔️🏂❄️🍻🥩

If you've been to one spoons this is much the same as every other! Same crazy carpet, burgers and free refills. They have disposal menus and also sauce in sachets. The menu seemed a little limited but I think it's due to Covid. Food arrived fast after we had ordered!

Disappointing. This Wetherspoons can usually be relied on but I was disappointed today when we went for breakfast. Hubby had the large full English. He seemed happy enough. I had the bacon butty on sliced bloomer with spreadable countryside butter. The bread was slightly dry going on toasted like it had been sat under the hot lamps too long. No butter on either slice. (A travesty in my opinion). The bacon fat was slightly underdone so it was chewy. Eww. AND I don't know if the bacon was smoked or cured or had been left next to the detergent too long but it tasted weird. It didn't say on the menu but it's important to us smoked bacon haters. The refillable tea and coffee was ace, thank you. As was the pint of orange. Service pretty average but we didn't really give them opportunity to show us different to be fair. Pub felt clean. Toilets tidy and spacious. Would definitely go again but maybe not for breakfast.

Nice and quiet with ample seating (on weekdays). Not too sure about weekends/events. Lovely furnishings. Feels comfortable here. Food is nice. Good portions. Slightly disappointed as there was a piece of bacon on my tuna jacket potato and whilst I'm not vegetarian; I did feel this was a terrible error. I was given a fresh one but couldn't eat it anyway (as was put off). Still, I would return again.

I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement having said this I think the management have done a great job here. The food & drink are quality and give good value for money. Staff are smart and pleasant. The Castle provides a welcoming atmosphere for couples to groups. Especially like the cozy fire side area. Grab a bottle of wine & glasses and just chill out in the comfy sofas in front of the 🔥.

The first table we went to sit at one of the chairs was dirty, so we had to look for another table. Quite busy a Saturday lunch time, the food arrived really quickly and was hot. At this Wetherspoon if you have a hot drink they give you a cup and you make it yourself. The staff were all pleasant and checked everything was OK with us a couple of times.

Staff nice & plenty of seating. Decor, furniture etc. is very very rundown & needs a serious overhaul. Were a couple of noisey kids running around schreeching but that's down to the parents to sort, not that they ever seem to be bothered to. Car park for here a bit of a pain to get into. Think it may be easier to go past the pub & take the next entrance as it seems to give a more direct route. Would come here again food ok & good value for money

Went the other day after shopping because it’s Spoons, and well the food was the standard it always is so no complaints there, however this spoons is part of the ‘higher priced chains’ so you’ll be paying upwards of £3 extra for the same food on meals, which is a minor gripe but something that I don’t agree with personally. The male staff member seemed rather uptight when we went up to order (must’ve been a bad day or something).

A Nice, spacious & cosy Wetherspoon's, conveniently attached to the Chill Factore snow and ski centre, which ideal for a nice hot meal or drink by the fire, or something stronger if you prefer, after an exhausting afternoon on the slopes. It's a little tatty round the edges, a tall lamp next to our table looked like it had been used in a bar brawl at some point. Was a really nice Wetherspoons, I've not been in for about 3 years until this weekend. It's now in need of a spruce up. Tatty seats, generally dirty. Staff although pleasant got our food order wrong twice.

Met friends, food was mixed, i had the Vegan breakfast it's only served until 12.pm so just made it, that was fine for the price. But my wife joined us later before we went to the cinema we thought we'd try the gourmet burger, it came, it didn't have the salsa, rocket or guacamole, we complained but we were told it was not the gourmet burger so we paid £2 more each which took it to a tenner it came back with a tiny spot of salsa, four or five leaves of rocket but no guacamole the burger was too dry and also the bread, it did now come with onion rings which were the best bit, chips were ok too but overall very poor attempt☹️

Anyone who has been to a Witherspoons will know what to expect, food and drink at a reasonable price, cheap drinks and such like. However, for a 'spoons this one is a little bit higher a standard, the decor and layout is nice with plenty of room. Staff are friendly and polite with easy access to other facilties and activities around it. Not a bad place to go for a quick bite to eat or a drink, however with the Trafford Centre just up the road there are slightly better food options available if you fancy something a little more up market.

Usual good value Wetherspoon service, but one team member was rather unprofessional in his dressing down of waiting staff in earshot of customers. A older guy who chastised team members for standing around, which may have been deserved, but we didn't need to hear it! Otherwise, fairly decent, but the newer purpose built venue didn't have the same ambience as the usual quirky older buildings that Wetherspoon usually selects and converts. Nevertheless, a fairly decent experience, if only the coffee machines had been working, so we could have had our free refills, I'd have been happier.

The food was ok however the presentation was terrible. Never had a tuna mayo jacket potato served in a soup plate. It was difficult to eat because of the size of the plate and it wasn't visually appealing as food was all piled up. Size of the cucumbers were abnormally big and again not nice presented. I think these small details are very important.

We had a few family days at the Chillfactore which we thoroughly enjoyed, usually concluded with a visit to the above. We have had several good times at the establishment, however, we have found the food to be lacking when they're busy (either Cold or Overdone (burnt)), which was topped off by a bout of food poisoning, which can only have been a result of their 'cooked' breakfast. It's cheap and cheerful, but you take a chance!

As the car park is under construction (Aug 18) It's difficult to sus were the entrance is. Typical Witherspoon menu which is always popular. The place is large, all the staff are efficient & the restaurant always busy. Personally I think Wethspoons is OK it's no more than OK on the quality of there food. You get what you pay for. Always been satisfied especially if you are not fermillier of any reasonable place to eat in a strange town. Don't expect the wow factor but it's fine for what it is.

A fine Wetherspoons. The interior matches the pubs location well, and it's always nice having lots of Windows. The fireplace area is lovely. We had breakfast here, and unlike our Wetherspoons in Carlisle experience, if you request to remove an item from their set breakfast, they don't replace it with another one of what you do like. We recently went to the Castle in the Air as we stayed at the Travelodge nearby we went for breakfast the five days and one lunch the food was excellent. The place was lovely very trendy and boutique. We also called one evening to sample the gins and had a few. We would have gone for evening meals but we were meeting up with family. We will be staying at the Travelodge again so will definitely be eating at the Castle in the Air.

The decor is in need of refurbishment, it looks so dirty & scruffy & i was almost sorry I'd ordered food. The food was nice but I like to sit on clean chairs that are not ripped. Felt so unclean which is a shame & it's clearly not been looked after. I won't be going back.

The best weatherspoons period. This place just doesnt look like the usual dull well used Weatherspoons that are normally scattered around. The food served is also much better. They care about what they're cooking here and provide a nice presented plate of food unlike others. Prices are the typical weatherspoons that are very reasonable with plenty of drinks on offer and plenty of food to choose from. You can also go different nights for cheaper meal deals like Fish Friday etc. If you're visiting Manchester and staying in the nearby hotels then this is great for food especially if you visit the beyond ski slope.

Firstly it's not just a Spoons, it's THE Spoons. This is as much of our annual pilgrimage to play Sake as the AJ Bell. It's huge! Plenty of seating and staff so you rarely have to wait for service. Standard spoons menu, so it's ok. Would recommend to anyone going to Old Trafford, the AJ Bell or the Trafford centre.
