Been here a few times. It's a lovely pub with good food and service.

The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.

I went yesterday, it was very busy and food wasn't that bad. nachos are nice, the kebabs are nice however letting the oil and grease run onto the chips is wrong. salads are dosed in dressing and do taste nice. this place has certainly improved since the last visit.

I had the mixed grill and it was very good. Other than the fried egg being hard the rest was good. For a pub meal it was better than I was expecting and the choice of drinks were good with a very good price. I am sure that I will have to come back here again to try something else off the menu. On another plus point I was a refreshing change to have a chef using oepoer on the fried egg and other items. Will done.

This is possibly the best pub in Manchester. I work in Spinningfields twice a week and its a ten minute walk but well with it every lunchtime. I look forward to it. Danny Watson and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent and really well-cooked by a chef that cares about what he's doing. Keep it up guys.

Been here twice, both times were great. We use Joseph Holts pubs frequently, always good prices and good food. Our visit this time was great, food was hot , fresh and well presented. All special requests were complied with. A special thanks to Dylan Jones who made our visit special with his friendliness , well done to him a credit to the company.

Food is great and a bargain. Missed my Guinness as Holts don't sell it. They've brought out there own stout but it's not for me. The bitter was on top form. It's a shame the lockdown is impacting so hard on there trade. Get in there and try it out.

Considering I hadn't ever been in here to going in 3 times within a week says how much I enjoyed it in here. Fair enough it may not be the classiest pub in Manchester but what you get is decent service, good food and pretty decent beer. The food is good value especially considering it is right in the centre. The hanging kebabs are excellent and very tasty. This is definitely somewhere i'll be coming back to, especially for a quick bite to eat.

Visited several times. The two steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 on a Tuesday is really good value for money. The menu seems to be restricted to pizza after about 8-8.30 so get your order in early. Gets very busy when there's a gig on at the Arena.

As a person who has been in the premises on a one off occasion I have been blown away from by the customer service in the premises It was spot on, beers were a bit more than I expected but I am not complaining Totally a good place to revisit on any occasion for a person wanting a good night out. This is a a man who is really likely to be there again. Any chance of I get. I have just had a meal in here and I can say wow I have to say that the food is excellent. So this man is a person who is looking to be back again and again in the future.

Lovely little pub , food was amazing , much better than the usual pub food , Wetherspoons should take note, it's priced about the same but oh so much better quality and such a nice menu to choose from , the service was very quick too . The only downside was the noise , the music was a little too loud so people were having to shout over it making it very hard to hold a conversation while eating , which made us leave sooner than we would have , but it was just too noisy for a relaxing meal. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been so noisy.

Whenever my wife and I are in Manchester, we always try to get in for a bite to eat at the Crown and Anchor. It's a lovely place with a good ambience and each time we've visited and eaten, I don't think we've had a bad meal. It's a Holts brewery establishment with good beer and wine selection. We had two good main meals and a bottle of red wine for £35, which isn't bad for central Manchester. Recommended

Classic Manchester Holt's brewery public house which has been transformed into a modern trendy interior but still selling Holt's branded cask ales, spirits and a range of keg ales at reasonable prices for Manchester city centre. It's in a great location, serves food and not unsurprisingly is very popular especially the outdoor seating at the front of the pub.

A Holts Pub (Holts is a Manchester Brewery) & Restaurant, personally i loved Holts Beer especially a pint of Black(a dark malty beer) also the menu was ok with anything from sandwiches to hanging kebabs and steak, i had the cheese and onion pie with chips and beans at £8.75 i thought was a good price, also i thought the rest of the menu was a decently priced too, would recommend to anyone shopping or sightseeing to give it a try.
