Enjoy the local Joseph Holt's beer that is actually brewed around the corner. The dark variety tastes especially good in this historical 19th century pub. The staff is nice and prices are moderate. Cheers!

The best boozer in Manchester great vibe lighting , pool table, football, dancing and a beautiful terraces for them summer days also incredibly friendly staff with the biggest smiles welcoming you in ! Nothing beats this boozer

Bit a of a funny vibe to be honest. Looked like a traditional Holts' pub on the exterior but on the interior was pretty hectic. Neon lights and very loud music. Probably would have enjoyed had we not been just looking for a decent pint of ale. If you're after a club vibe without going to a club then this may be for you.

Visited the Fort and double backed as this place looked welcoming. It was. Landlord friendly and told me about Holt's brewery just behind the pub. I had a point of their diamond later and an American style IPA which I never knew Holt's did. Both excellent. Was mid Saturday afternoon, weather was great so was quite quiet but did acquire a fair few other interesting souls

Had a fantastic night, music was great, food unbelievable for a Holts pub and the staff are so lovely, they let me try one of their ales before buying to see if i liked it. Only wish it was nearer to home and it would be my local. Will definitely be back again.

I visited the DBA last Friday, the beer was great and the staff and landlord are really friendly. I also ordered a “Four sides” Vegan pizza, made in house, it was absolutely delicious. A real surprise for a non vegan. I will be going back for more.
