Fabulous place with a lovely atmosphere. We were a small group celebrating our friend's birthday by having the bottomless lunch on a very busy Saturday afternoon, but the set up was perfect and we were never without a drink. Compliments to the kitchen team too because the food was amazing, and I can't do a review without mentioning our host Frankie who was just the best. He was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On hearing we had a birthday girl he brought her a lovely celebratory cocktail too. We'll definitely be back.

We visited foundry for the first time to try the bottomless lunch. The atmosphere was perfect, really nice layout. The staff were polite and friendly. Most importantly the bottomless lunch was incredible, staff so attentive and making sure we were topped up! Food was awesome, was just such a great afternoon and would highly recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to come back!!!

Both the beef burger and the chicken burger are excellent here, and upgrade to the millionaires fries is an absolute must. Portions are a good size as well. Place is lively, staff are polite, friendly and attentive. Good selection of beer and wine. Only tried the old fashioned from the cocktail menu and have to say it's not the best, but other people I know have enjoyed the cocktails here, so maybe I'll try a different one next time.

Amazing bottomless brunch! Very generous with the alcohol, they put the bottles of Prosecco on the table and will refill them very quickly when required. Nice decent food, good portion size. Amazing service, lovely waitress, asked us what the occasion was and gave me a free cocktail. Would recommend!

Beautiful sbc tasty burgers, great atmosphere. Service can be improved as was very slow and confused. Table for 7 people is uncomfortable (to rhd point that my legs and back hurt) for the person who is forced to sit at the top of the table due to the awkward position of the table legs. I did not enjoy the evening as was very uncomfortable

I had my 21st at the Foundry last week and had the most amazing time. The service was excellent, especially from Amy and Taemar, who made sure I had everything I needed! They were both so attentive and ensured I had a great birthday. The venue was great (I booked the basement bar) and drinks were lovely. All the staff were very friendly. Thank you to all the team! X

Had a fantastic night in Foundry Project in February! Went for a meal with my friends, great food, really good service and real quality for money given that it is smack bang in the middle of 'pricey' Northern Quarter. Received great service from the manager working, Katie, who was really accommodating to my friends allergies. Ended up staying until late in the evening in the bar area as it was a great atmosphere as the night went on! Cant wait go back!

I organised a birthday party for around 35 people in the downstairs private room. Great experience from start to finish, initially chatting with events manager to establish the venue met my needs and a brilliant experience on the day of the party from our barman Luke and duty manager Amy. Buffet food was plentiful, great quality and good value and all the team helped out on the day getting things set up and ensuring we were happy throughout. The space is quite compact, especially if adding decorations as we did, however we were able to move/ remove some of the furniture as we wished which opened up the space.

Frankie was a fantastic server and is a credit to the company. He accommodated to all my dietary needs as a lacto gluten free vegan, which is not common. And the meal was fantastic with all his recommendations! Went here on our visit to Manchester, Charlotte helped us out, was a busy place, explained we would have a wait due to that and a large preorder going in but was going to try and get us in front of that. I had the dirty cow, one of the better smash burgers I have had to date, and my wife had the veg burger. Mines was good, tasty and well cooked, sadly my wife's was a little too much potato and not enough oomph on the flavour. The fries were tasty maybe could do with rosemary salt rather than plain salt but well cooked and just right otherwise. We were sat across from the lad that cooked the pizzas and it was fun to watch him put care and attention to each one. Food choices were good, the choices of dirty fries looked interesting, maybe mine with a side of blue cheese rather than the American would have been more tasty. All in a worth while place for a visit, I think your experience may depend on waiting staff (Charlotte was a good example of someone enjoying and revelling in their job), but food was good quality, even though we had a wait, I would recommend erring on the rude side to grab your waiter/ress attention when it's busy and give everything a try 😊

You get the option by the server to choose at the bar, online or get table service, which was more personalised than you get in most places and our server was very nice and accomodating. Theres a mix of food to accompany drinks, with a set drink menu for happy hour. The food was decent (the cheeseburger fries were delish) and the drinks were great too. Lovely chilled atmosphere, perfect for date night, after work drinks or a meet up.

Myself and a friend came for bottomless brunch a few days ago. When we went there was a stag do who has overstayed their welcome big time and were ridiculously rowdy, and omg your staff were absolute angels the girlies were so lovely and kept apologising to us, pretty sure I gave one of them a chip because I felt so sorry for her 😭 . My wife and i came across the foundry back in the summer time during a two day visit to the city. while strolling through the Northern quarter we were drawn to the sunny outside seating and rested for a while with a cold beer and refreshing glass of white. After our quick pits stop we returned to the shopping but soon found we wanted to return to the sunny spot and where delighted to find a table in the sun, this time we accompanied our drinks with some mid afternoon snacks, I had the Chicken tenders and my wife had the Poutine Fires. we ended up making a 3rd visit the same day to catch the 6pm post work crowd and simply loved the whole vibe about the place, staff where efficient and friendly. We both agreed to return the next time we are back in the city. We have returned to Manchester three times since August and have visited the Foundry Project every time it has become one of our must do activities. during one of our visits we spotted a party enjoying a "Bottomless Bruch", intrigued my wife questioned on of the staff members and to her surprise was given a full tour and had all the different options explained to her, her guide was very helpful and informative. If we lived in Manchester it is the kind of thing we could enjoy with friends and work mates for a special occasion.

I had brunch there today, they have a spacious outside area. The waiter, a tall guy in surprisingly good mood given how hot it is, talked me through the whole track and trace. Then talked me through how to order and he was a real saint because I was particularly slow today lol (thank you!!!). Lovely guy! My brunch arrived swiftly, as I was starving, with my sparking water served with ice cubes and lemon, chilled to perfection. Brunch: avocado was really good quality, not one of those really cheap things. Eggs were lovely and bread was fresh and toasted to perfection. I also ordered extra bacon, crispy and generous portion. The staff are adorable and make you respect social distancing and apply track and trace. Sadly my phone couldn’t stand the heat so no pictures but the location itself is worth a look, too.

I came for a bottomless brunch for my birthday. My breakfast wasn’t very nice. It came in a dirty black old pan and my eggs and mushroom were piled on top of the ‘beans’ which weren’t nice. I had to remind them about my toast that came on a separate plate. When I held the pan upright or upside down the beans didn’t move lol. However my friend ordered a salad and enjoyed that. In the end after the service and the amount of drinks we had I was more than satisfied for the money. The staff were lovely and I would come again for drinks. The bottomless brunch is definitely worth it!

For manchester, foundry project was shockingly cheap for its quality. Loved my meal, went with some friends, full bottle of wine, cocktails, and a meal only ended up costing me about £40. Really nice looking on the inside, went at a busy time but didnt feel packed, it felt more homely. Great table service, prompt. Very near to a lot of great places, went the roxy ballroom afterwards within walking distance. Definitely going again.

Good place to eat out. Bear in mind that it's required to book in advance because it's always fully booked. The price of food is fair to be honest. The service is correct as well I ordered a pizza it's was delicious but nothing outstanding. I recommend the place for groups mainly and the offer of the 3 dishes for one. Having said that, it's located in the middle of Northern Quarter, so you can't spectate less than this.

This was my starting location which resulted in my visit to Rain Bar (see review). Pleasant atmosphere, the sun was shining so we sat outdoors. Avoid the fresh air that they have an abundance of outside, im pretty sure it enhances the drunkeness. I left here happy and moderately drunk.

We went to the Foundry Project as a group of 10 on a hen party. Due to our group size, we were required to pay a deposit for each person and pre-book our meals 2 weeks in advance which was fine with us! Upon arriving at the restaurant we were shown to our table and our drinks order was quickly taken - we waited a while for our food, but it was a busy Saturday night and we didn’t mind! The food itself was gorgeous, huge portions and really good quality food, empty plates all round! There was an incident involving the pizza oven, where a pizza was badly burnt and the restaurant got quite smoky, but the manager quickly came over with 2 bottles of Prosecco for our table for the inconvenience, which really wasn’t necessary! My reason for 4 stars is that upon asking for the bill, we had to wait a fair while, and when asked how we would be paying we said we’d be paying over 4 cards, with some on cash (as a restaurant that caters to large groups I thought this would be something they would be able to easily accommodate), however it took over half an hour for us to settle the bill as it seemed that they didn’t have this set up - it’s a shame because up until this point we’d had no reason to mark the restaurant down, but we’d all drunk up and finished food and we’re sat waiting for a while - in future we would ask for the bill much earlier in order to get it sorted promptly! Would highly recommend the food and drinks!

Great experience at the Foundry Project this weekend. We went for the bottomless brunch, which included unlimited Prosecco, Bellini’s, Bloody Mary’s (and some others but I cant remember!) and a main meal. The food was great and had a vast option of pizza, burgers or salad. We were seated quickly and were served by Jack who was fantastic and deserved a medal for dealing with 3 very tipsy people for the afternoon (yes, we were those people). But he was always friendly and helpful throughout and made sure our experience was memorable. The food was very nice and was a good portion. Lots of COVID safety measures were in place and we felt safe to enjoy ourselves. For 3 people the bill came to around £95.

Great bar with decent prices (or was it happy hour and I wasn't aware of it?) Absolutely fabulous service from the short guy behind the bar (with glasses I think?). His smile and excitement made my day. Shame there are no name badges. Also we were disappointed we couldn't order food at the bar area and the restaurant area was full, so we left to go eat (and drink) somewhere else.

The space is well-decorated, spacious but cozy at the same time. Staff were attentive and friendly. The burgers are all served with two patties so they are nice and filling. Tasty burger sauce as well! My partner had the wild mushroom pizza and said it was delicious. Definitely recommend this new spot!

Breakfast was great and would go back! Gave ⭐⭐⭐ purely for the 30 minutes that the food took to get to the table, also ordered a pot of tea which took 20 minutes. Service was a little disjointed, however other diners were having the same problem so just putting it down to a bad morning. Make sure you make a reservation before you go as weren't accepting walk-ins.

Not quite what it says on the tin. Situated in the old Blue bar, a mixture of dining and drinking. Decided to visit this place after seeing posts on instagram. The burgers we had were a disappointment when comparing with the ones we saw on instagram, although looking at the Pizzas they looked much of a better option. We found the place very busy and Noisy, in fact it was difficulty have a conversation. The young lady serving was great, although we had to wait over half an hour for our food. ( not her fault) just busy. Will this bar be here in 5 years, probably not. This and That you have nothing to worry about.

Food was really good however the service was terrible. We went for lunch and it took 50 mins before our food arrived bearing in mind that it wasnt that busy and we didn’t order too much as there was only 2 of us. They also made a mishap as they gave our food bill to the table next to us so they ended up paying much less and left without knowing what had happened. When we received our bill we were told of the issue which was fine as we still paid for what we ate but the staff need to improve their service. They also gave my husband a gin and tonic when he ordered a ginger beer. This isn’t too much of an issue as we do drink but had this been given to someone who doesn’t drink for religious reasons etc. It could have caused a major issue.

I booked the basement bottomless brunch and it was amazing. There was so much to choose from on the menu that looked nice but we went for the chicken burger and some burger fries. A delicious bottomless brunch - food was great, drinks were flowing, service was impeccable (our server Sophie had the perfect balance of being super attentive but not overbearing).
