If I'm honest, I wasn't digging the vide. Staff seemed nice and there seems to be a real local feel to it I.e. most of the people knew each other. I'm not sure if it is a thing here in the UK but no lounge staff. You are left to fend for yourself. If u want food then ask, if u want a menu then go get one from one of the tables. I know that sound bad but I don't mean it like that. It depends on your expectations. I did not end up getting food cause I was just not feeling it. Nice looking place and lots of TV screens. I plan to go back and get it a proper chance. Overall I think there is potential but need to give it a second chance.

Friendly local pub serving good food and good beer. Great entertainment with resident DJ who also runs a competitive and fun quiz night and karaoke! Guest DJ spots and a good range of live music which is always well received. Lots of sports showing with TVs all around the pub, darts comps and family friendly events through the year. The rooms are also hired out for groups in the community which brings lots of groups together. A local asset!

Great pub, always a positive atmosphere. Staff (management included) are fantastic, welcoming, easy to approach and always happy to go above and beyond. The food is prepared to a high standard and affordable with the added value of good sized portions. Plenty of events to attend midweek and regular weekend entertainment.

What a fantastic pub - there are very very few like it now in the UK. Plenty of customers and so a great atmosphere. We went in watch a City match with friends. There was loads of light hearted friendly banter from the regulars, both City and United fans, even for me a relative stranger. There's a great range of beers and excellent food. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you're passing, it's close to the Trafford Centre too.

This pub was fantastic, its great team and Steph the new manager were all welcoming. The pub looks great and has lots of booths and areas if you want to have a more private time or indeed if you want to send the lads to watch the footie there’s a room for that too! Lol The food was perfect, I only had a burger but it was cooked perfectly and I almost didn’t finish it all! And the prices were so reasonable! Defo worth a visit especially if there is a dj or karaoke on this pub caters for everyone. Well done to the whole team

This is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere, and a very friendly landlady and staff. The service is great and the ales and lagers are well kept. It has been my local for 45 years and I wouldn't change it one little bit.

Took my dad for father's Day today the service was really good the food was delicious and well presented the staff Sharon and steff were very hospitable and even came round with free shots of whiskey . A really nice establishment set in a residential area. It's a good sized pub with a great selection of beers and all sensibly priced. I was here for a private function upstairs but ventured downstairs for the bar, where a DJ was playing. The clientele is mature and super friendly, a proper credit to Manchester. I was told that this is a United pub so if you're going to a game at Old Trafford then this is a good pub to have pre and post drinks in. I would go so far as to say I'd pay a visit to this pub if I was in the Greater Manchester area. On street parking is plentiful though I imagine this would be vastly different on game day.

Hadn't been here for 15 years, sad to see the interior decimated, now a plastic pub. What was once the Holt's flagship is now more like a Wetherspoons but with the advantage of having a decent pint on pump (real of course 😉👍🏻)

Traditional large family pub with lots of seating areas inside and out. The garden out back is beautifully maintained. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Toilets were clean and well stocked with hand sanitizer/handwash etc. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced.

Called in today with a few friends on a whim for coffee. Great experience, great service, nothing to much trouble, a tremendous improvement from last time (many years ago). Went for some pub food and a pint instead of cooking. Haven't been for well over a year and the food is just as good as I remember it :-) holts beer isn't really my favourite but its not that bad and they keep it well. The food is excellent value and very good quality, the Mrs had the ultimate BBQ burger and I had fish and chips, even though the fish and chips was good I had food envy as her burger was amazing.... Nice place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great food. What more can I say :-) we will be back.....

Not a bad pub at all. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Prices for drinks are reasonable. The only issue I have is that the night my family and I (8 of us in total) went it was apparently quiz night (Tuesday) which we were unaware of as we arrived about an hour before the quiz. After we had got our drinks and got comfotable we were asked to move as the quiz guy would be setting up where we were sat. This was pretty annoying as we were well situated at this point. When we sat down there was no indication that the tables were needed. A reserved sign would have done the trick. That is my only issue other than that its a nice pub.

Not a bad pub. Went here with some work colleagues after work and had the 2-4-1 on all main meals on Monday. The food was really nice and reasonably priced. They also do deals through out the week. Would highly recommend coming here for some pub grub.

Recently undergone a refurb. There's a pleasant outdoor seating area which gives you a feeling of sitting in a courtyard. Bar staff are friendly and drink prices were reasonable. I can't comment on food here as I've not eaten at this establishment

I've tried to dine there on 2 separate occasions, first time I've rang up on Sunday afternoon to ask what time food was served till, been told on the phone that last orders were at 8pm, got there for 7.30pm to find out that they've already stopped serving. Tried week later on Wednesday afternoon, got there around 3.30pm and there was a note on the door saying that due Christmas staff do food was served till 4.30pm, tried to order but again kitchen was closed earlier. Very misleading information and it seems like they stop serving food whatever time they wish..
