Use to be one of the cheapest pubs in Tyldesley now one of the dearest prices just gone up again, still a good pint though but cheaper else were

Good pint of Holts ale and generally a nice family pub. Sky sports, friendly locals and cheap beer. Describes itself as dog friendly but it's only in the vault. Highly recommended.

This the best beer house round here great beer on hand pull. The staff went the extra mile to make sure people could keep the 2m apart and stay safe. Lovely old pub i wish there was more of them.

Stepping into the Mort Arms is like stepping back in time. I don't mean that in a bad way, the interior is almost unchanged for decades,with oak panelling and etched glass windows. The hand pulled beers are well kept, and very reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

Still serve a great pint of bitter. The wife and I spent a full evening in the lounge with friends recently, had a lovely night until I went for a last round of drinks at 11.05 and was refused by the manager who otherwise hadn't made an appearance all night

Always a huge welcome at the Mort arms. Victoria and Ryan excellent hosts. Saturday 28 th April had Pete sarsfield winner of stars in your eyes doing Frankie Valli absolutely what a great night. Tyldesley has has a bit of a decline but the Mort arms still going strong. Excellent beers
