Great bar. It wasn’t too busy on a Thursday night, and we got a couple of nice drinks. The staff are friendly, and the place is well decorated. They had a nice looking cocktail menu too. I’d definitely come back here.

Amazing bar ! Amazing door staff a shame the same can’t be said for “G A Y” next door and their discriminating door staff… will definitely return to “on bar” the same can’t be said for next door avoid at all costs and go to “on bar” it’s a million times better and they do not discriminate!!

Great bar, xenophobic bartenders. I've been here multiple times, but Jesus, the blond bartender on 05/12/2021 heard I was from America and made many rude assumptions. Disgraceful and uncalled for.

Absolutely great time at on bar. The female bouncer Hannah is absolutely fantastic couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating, lovely n genuine person. Had issues with other bars around the village with staff being rude to me and my two friends but Hannah was great and really knew how to deal with us and the other customers. Also one of the waiters / barmen really stood out to us, a guy with a septum piercing also great really friendly and helped us enjoy our time much more. If I could would rate this place a lot more than 5 stars. Big thank you to everyone here especially Hannah and you mystery guy thanks for a great evening hope to see you guys soon

First visit to the On bar, warm welcome from the star attraction Lee Starr. Fantastic vibe and incredibly entertaining, our group got drawn into the upbeat and happy feel of the club. Can only imagine how wild the party gets later in the night.

Went out Saturday day time as a group of 4. It was busy but managed to be seated outside. Pleasantly surprised. We all had pizzas and they were delicious. The staff were very attentive too. Eventually managed to get inside towards the end of the evening and despite the restrictions we had a great time.

Lovely place. Staff were lovely canal street is such a gem of an area quiet and calm a refuge from the business of manchester. They do tea here which is excellent for a daytime catch up with friends. And they didnt mind me eating brownies id bought from the food market in Piccadilly... An idillic place.

Great sitting outside in the sunshine but the staff who worked there seemed a bit surly. There wasn't any interaction between them and the customers but all of the other outside areas along Canal Street were packed. Keep in mind that this was a Sunday afternoon, it may be very different in the evening.... A great selection of teas though, reasonable prices and I am sure that I will give them another go.

A great bar on 3 levels. Many of the resident DJs are great and bar staff are friendly. Good to set on the upstairs terrace and watch the world go by during the day although the place comes alive at night time!

Haven't been to this place since it was Manto, came on 14th September on a Saturday. Best service in the village so quick, the staff all seemed to be working well. Will be back next time I'm up north! Glad to see the village is still busy, although it's a lot less gay than I remember! But that's just progress I guess.

I go to ON bar quite often and I love it When it's sunny you can see outside and sip your cold pint or stay inside,I love the dj she's a creative entertaining artist! Yesterday I was at the Gay oride and I spent at least 2 hours at on bar,lot of fun!!!! Definitely go go go,you'll have a great time wheter you are straight or gay or whatever in this bar everyone is welcome and it's great fun!!!(please read my other reviews I am not easy to please,I rarely leave amazing reviews!!!😅😅)

I love the mix of people that come here. Reslly gives it the proper LGBT character of ALL walks of life. The bartenders have been working there for a while so it must be a decent place to work too

Im sure many people do love it here but it wasnt for me. Its just a typical gay bar, nothing special about the bar itself, although the drag queen was pretty funny! Which is why this is a 4* and not a 3*

We came here for Halloween. Unfortunately my boyfriend has a history of fainting and on this particular night he fainted on the upstairs balcony. This could so easily have been treated as a drunken reveller having one too many, however the caring and efficient staff members immediately made us feel safe and comfortable. To start with, the security were so fast to respond and took him out of the busy area, understanding that the situation could have been very serious. We were taken outside of the venue and were shown care and humour by the people who worked on the door. They calmed the whole situation down and made us feel that our wellbeing was the top priority. We were aware that this isn't a typical night club experience and we are really grateful. The kindness and concern showed by On's staff is really something to be comended and we will certainly be going back as a result of this. Thanks to all again.
