Really nice pub with good options for food. Especially for vegan food, I had their vegan bbq chicken burger and loved it. Their cocktails are great too, I had one with bubblegum and my friend had something with peach. Prices were a bit high but other than that no complaints. Staff was really nice and friendly.

An excellent night with great staff. We had attended a private party upstairs, the room was a good size with great atmosphere. Food served was delicious and the staff looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend this place for a function.

I went here a couple of weeks ago for a travel industry event. Although the event was fine, the food (or most of it) arrived stone cold. In fairness, the staff were very apologetic and brought us (hot!) new portions (and even some extra portions!) however the overall experience slightly marred things hence a star knocked off.

Have been visiting this location on New Years Eve without reservation. There was some nice DJing and good vibes. I've tried a "Rumball" ( priced at 8.50 GBP ) and gave their skinny pizza ( priced at 8.00 GBP ) a try. Cocktail was okay, but nothing special ... the pizza was actually quite good. I have ordered french fries as well ( priced at 2.50 GBP ) but I wasn't hungry any more and they did not look that good.

Revolution has a great atmosphere as soon as you walk In. I was greeted by friendly staff and was allowed to choose my own seat. The Mac n cheese and the burgers were amazing. We waited a normal amount of time for the food and I paid £8 for my Mac n cheese which I was very pleased with. I have already recommended to my friends.

bar man spiked me, passed out, but it was great because the police help me when i was throwing up in the middle of the road almost getting hit by cars. would definitely recommend just make sure you’re with some friends who can carry you to bed and sit with you while you throw up for 5 hours after being spiked. xxxx

Had a voucher for my girlfriends birthday for a cocktail making class and a 3 course meal. It lived up to hype and more, we were the only 2 people in the course which made it much more personal, instead of a group of 15. We got some extra free drinks too, can’t complain. After many cocktails and feeling quite merry, we had the food which was okay but not out of this world, overall the general experience was something I’d recommend doing, it’s great value for money!

Only pitfall was the service - had to ask for napkins and the table to be cleaned. Didn't like that one of the waitresses asked us to give the service 5 stars on trip adviser exchange for a free shot - stars/praise should be earned on merit/quality of service, not bribary.

Good but a bit disappointed Heard lots of good reviews about this place so was excited about eating here. The burger we had was really oily. And the lobster ravioli was really dry and cold and hard. The sweet potato fries were nice though. Only good thing was there was lots of cocktail and shots choices. But we weren't really heavy drinkers so we only had a drink each. Probably will still go again though.

The cocktail menu was very deceiving with those not included on same page as those on the 2 for 1 offer. Same drink ordered twice but definitely not tasting the same. Clever but quite misleading use of the R in the promotion of cocktails. Having said that most of our party enjoyed the drinks. We enjoyed it but clarity on what's on offer would be helpful and lessen confusion.

Choice of beers a little disappointing and settled on an American IPA, but it is a cocktail bar. Ordered Chicken Ceasar Salad .....which was served quickly and was highly enjoyable. Would have been even better with anchovies, but still very good. Recommended.

my best friends hen that I had planned so meticulously would have been completed ruined due to a 3rd party company (Chilli Sauce). When we arrived, Will was not aware of our booking as it had been made for the wrong day. They could have turned us away, but instead, managed to accommodate 12 of us for cocktail making and a 2 course meal at short notice. We had a lovely time and I will be eternally grateful for the attentiveness and quick solutions approach taken by the team. I feel that the meal and drinks were great value for money and good quality. I would recommend this venue for group bookings, as if they can pull off a great night at short notice it would be even better when organised correctly in advance.

There's a decent selection to choose from and they even offer vegan alternatives to main meals! My only real complaint would be the disruptions from the couple next to us, it's not entirely the staffs fault but they should've asked them to turn their phone down as they were ignoring other customers asking I would definitely recommend them and if I was in Manchester again, it would definitely be a place I'd revisit

Arrived at 18:05 ordered within ten minutes, for the next half hour they came twice to change our order as they had run out of pizza then they got the order completely wrong altogether. They gave us everything for free but I felt sorry for the staff! Organized caos. We only had fifteen minutes to then eat our food before the show started across the road.

Staff are really friendly and it's a good place to hang out with pals before a gig. Walkable distance to the Manchester Academies and not far from Oxford Road station.

Had a pizza that was tough to cut and quite dry base on it. Not much topping either. It didn't help that they didn't have any pizza cutters. A nice venue for a get together, the upstairs is spacious for a booked event and the drinks selection is up market but misses out some basics like a good Irish Whiskey. Prices are good for bar in London (£5 for a whisky and mixer) but high for Manchestet and its location on the student thoroughfare between the University and city. Staff nice and helpful.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and nice drinks BUT, on the food menu there are only 4 vegetarian options, one of which is jus a margherita pizza (pretty boring and stodgy option), and 2 are halloumi based meals. I wanted to order Halloumi and Chips but they had ran out of halloumi (it was only 6pm), which means now there are only 2 vegetarian options. Therefore I had to order a bean burger which I didn't really want, this put a downer on my night and I really think they should either add more vegetarian options or ensure they have te ingredients that HALF of the veggie menu depends on.

This is a Revolution bar, indeed I believe it was the first ever one... however it is very small compared to other Revolutions so whilst being part of a chain, it still feels independent and a bit different... so the best of both worlds really!

Excellent place, we went for a mixology cocktail class, when we got there at 2pm we were joined by 10 other couples all on the same class, by the end of the time we were all chatting away like we've known each other for ever. We went upstairs to a private bar with cocktails and shots lined up waiting for us. Dan the bartender was great and showed us the different measures and glasses. We were asked to pick our favourite cocktails to make, We went for the ones with the most alcohol in, mine was the Zombie and Lorraine chose the Long Island ice tea. Dan pointed to the spirits and mixers and helped us through. BIG TIP when the measures full don't stop let it overflow OMG best Zombie ever must admit though I looked like a Zombie later that afternoon. So everyone else in the class took turns to make their cocktails (anything off the menu) and our next cocktail we had to make blindfolded and our partner had to tell us were the ice and bottles were. After we had all done the blindfold cocktails we had more shots then it was down stairs for a 3 course meal, which unfortunately as I was now in a near state of Zombie only had a few slices of pizza and was looking forward to the burger sliders and corn. So I will have to make a return trip and have them another time. It may of been a bit early to get drunk but hey it was a great after noon, made some lovely friends and Dan was definatley 'The Man'
